notes: surprise! extra chapter. 🤭
The next morning, you woke up groggy but determined to stick to your usual routine—it was the only thing grounding you in the midst of all this chaos. You started with your hour-long shower, letting the water cascade over you as you tried to clear your head. Afterward, you brushed your teeth, meticulously went through your 30-minute skincare routine, and finished with a combination of lotion and baby oil that left your skin glowing. By the time you slipped into your classic baby tee and pajama pants combo, you felt like a semblance of yourself again.
Just as you were finishing up, a knock at the door interrupted your moment of peace. You padded over and opened it to find Vi and Jinx standing there, both with wide grins on their faces.
“Good morning,” you greeted them, leaning against the doorframe.
“Hey,” Vi replied, her tone casual but warm. “We were wondering if you wanted to join us for breakfast in the lobby. Haven’t heard from you all night, so we missed you.”
Jinx nodded enthusiastically, her wild blue hair bouncing with the movement. “Yeah, it’s not the same without you. You’ve got the best ideas, and we could really use your input.”
You gave them a small smile, appreciating the effort. “Oh yeah, sure. Just let me grab my stuff.”
Turning back into the room, you grabbed your phone and the bag with your hotel key, then followed them downstairs.
-
The lobby was bustling with activity, the smell of coffee and freshly cooked food wafting through the air. You were immediately struck by how awkward it felt as you approached the table and realized you’d have to sit next to Sevika. The tension between the two of you was palpable, but you pushed through it, plastering a neutral expression on your face as you took your seat.
Jinx, thankfully, was a great buffer, sitting on your other side and diving straight into conversation. “So, I was thinking we could do a retro-style drop for the merch—like 90s grunge but with neon accents,” she said, sliding her sketchbook toward you.
You leaned over to take a look, nodding thoughtfully as you offered suggestions. “What if you use a distressed font for the band name? And maybe incorporate some holographic details for the logos?”
Jinx’s eyes lit up. “Oh, that’s genius!”
Meanwhile, Vi and Caitlyn sat across the table, deep in their own conversation but occasionally looping Sevika in. You could feel Sevika’s presence beside you, her warmth, her voice, the occasional brush of her arm against yours. It was distracting, and you hated how much you noticed it.
The awkwardness shattered when your phone buzzed on the table. You glanced down and gasped, immediately catching everyone’s attention.
“Who is it?” Vi asked, curious.
You didn’t answer, too busy staring at the name on your screen. It was a call from Jayce Talis, the wildly popular YouTuber you had collaborated with a few months back. He was connected to every celebrity, constantly attending the biggest parties, events, and concerts, and making millions while doing it.
“Hello?” you answered, hoping and praying it was actually him.
“Hey, there’s my favorite girl,” Jayce’s smooth voice came through the phone. “I heard you’re in Vegas. You wanna come by one of my parties tonight? I’ll send you the address.”
You bit your lip, your mind racing as you looked at the others seated around the table. “Is it okay if four other people come?” you asked, feeling a flicker of hope.
“Sure, the more the merrier. I’ll send the location now,” Jayce said, his tone easygoing.
“Thank you so much,” you replied, genuinely grateful.
“Of course, babygirl. I’ll see you later,” he said before hanging up.
You placed your phone on the table, noticing everyone staring at you expectantly.
“Who was that?” Caitlyn asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Jayce Talis,” you said with a grin. “We’re invited to one of his parties tonight.”
“Deadass?” Vi’s eyes widened as she leaned forward. “Oh, fuck yeah. I heard his parties are crazy. So crazy you don’t even remember the next morning… no diddy.”
The table broke into laughter, the tension momentarily forgotten as everyone began buzzing with excitement over the plans for the night.
That evening, the hotel suite was a whirlwind of chaos as everyone prepared for the party. Clothes were scattered across the beds, makeup spilled across the countertops, and the music blasted loud enough to vibrate through the walls.
You stood in front of the mirror, adjusting your outfit—a short, sleek black dress with a daring slit up the side, paired with strappy heels that gave you an air of elegance. Your makeup was bold, smoky eyes with a hint of glitter and a deep red lip that made you feel confident. You finished the look with silver jewelry, your hair styled in loose waves that framed your face perfectly.
Caitlyn, ever the meticulous one, walked over and handed you a glass of wine. “You look stunning. Jayce is going to regret not staying on that call longer,” she teased, giving you a playful nudge.
You laughed, taking a sip. “Thanks, Cait. But this isn’t about Jayce. It’s about having fun.”
She smirked. “Well, if Sevika sees you like this, she might eat her words about not being serious.”
Your stomach churned at the mention of Sevika, but you quickly pushed the thought aside. Tonight was supposed to be about letting loose, not dwelling on unrequited feelings.
Meanwhile, Vi and Jinx were already well into the pregame phase, laughing hysterically as they downed shots of tequila. Vi was in a leather jacket and ripped jeans, her go-to look, while Jinx had gone all out in a neon mini dress that screamed chaos. Sevika, on the other hand, had kept it simple yet devastatingly attractive—a black button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up, paired with dark jeans and boots.
-
By the time you all arrived at the party, the energy was electric. Jayce’s mansion was everything you’d expected—luxurious, sprawling, and filled with people who looked like they belonged on magazine covers. The music thumped through the walls, a mix of EDM and Top 40 hits, as the group made their way inside.
The night quickly spiraled into drinking games, loud conversations, and dancing. Vi and Jinx had disappeared to the dance floor, while Caitlyn stayed by your side, sipping a cocktail and making small talk with other guests. You were about to join the others when you spotted Sevika across the room.
She was leaning against the bar, her posture relaxed, a drink in hand as she talked to two women who were clearly vying for her attention. One of them rested a hand on her arm, leaning in closer, and you felt your stomach twist.
Your heart sank as Sevika gave a low chuckle, her lips curling into that smirk you hated to love. She wasn’t even trying to hide the fact that she was flirting.
Caitlyn noticed the shift in your expression and followed your gaze. “Oh no,” she muttered, quickly grabbing your arm. “Don’t do this to yourself.”
You tried to pull away. “I just need to—”
“No, you don’t,” Caitlyn interrupted firmly, steering you toward another part of the room. “Come on, let’s get another drink and find something else to focus on.”
Reluctantly, you let her guide you away, but the image of Sevika laughing with those women was burned into your mind. You hated the way it made you feel—jealous, insecure, and foolish. You took a deep breath, silently vowing not to let it ruin your night.
Caitlyn handed you a fresh cocktail and gave you a reassuring smile. “Remember, you’re here to have fun. Don’t let her get in your head.”
You nodded, forcing a smile as you raised your glass. “You’re right. Cheers to that.”
But even as you tried to lose yourself in the party, the nagging ache in your chest remained, a constant reminder that Sevika would never be yours in the way you wanted her to be.
The party was in full swing, and the energy was electric. You and Caitlyn had thrown caution to the wind, taking more shots than either of you probably should have. The alcohol coursed through your veins, making everything brighter, louder, and a little more carefree.
Caitlyn, who rarely let loose like this, was surprisingly keeping up with you. The two of you sang along to every song blasting through the speakers, laughing as you tried to out-dance one another. At one point, Caitlyn leaned in close, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol.
"I think... I think I'm gonna confess to Vi," she blurted out, a mixture of determination and nerves in her eyes.
You paused, blinking at her before breaking into a wide grin. “Do it! You absolutely should! She’d be crazy not to say yes.”
Caitlyn laughed, shaking her head. “This might just be the liquor talking, but I think tonight’s the night.”
You gave her an encouraging push toward where Vi was standing, chatting with some other guests. “Go get her, tiger!”
Caitlyn took a deep breath, muttered something under her breath, and walked off, leaving you alone in the middle of the dance floor. But you didn’t mind. The music was too good, the vibe too perfect.
You found yourself dancing with a group of girls who had gathered nearby, all hyping each other up. You laughed, twirling in your dress, feeling freer than you had in weeks. The bass of the music vibrated through your body, and for a moment, you forgot all about Sevika, Jayce, and everything else weighing on your mind.
Then a finger tapped your shoulder, breaking the spell.
You turned, expecting to see Caitlyn or maybe even one of the girls you'd been dancing with. Instead, your breath hitched as your eyes landed on a familiar face.
“Finn?” you said, your voice laced with disbelief.
He gave you that same charming smirk that had once made your heart flutter. “Hey, gorgeous. What are you doing here?”
“What are you doing here in Vegas?” you asked, crossing your arms.
“I got invited,” he said casually, his voice smooth.
You knew why. Finn wasn’t just any guy; he was a famous actor. His rugged looks and effortless charisma made him a perfect fit for the action and sci-fi movies he starred in. He was always the center of attention, always in the spotlight.
And once, you had been right there with him.
The two of you had been a celebrity power couple. Fans adored how well you matched—your aesthetics, your energy. Everything about your relationship had seemed perfect. And for a while, it had been.
The sex, the lavish dates, the way he spoiled you… it was like living in a dream.
Until the dream turned into a nightmare.
Your chest tightened as the memories came flooding back. Coming to his house to pick up the dog you had adopted together, only to find him in bed with one of his co-stars. The shock, the betrayal, the fury that had led you to throw hands with both of them.
And then, the final blow—him kicking you out of his house in the middle of a storm, leaving you stranded in the pouring rain.
As if that wasn’t enough, you later learned she hadn’t been the only one. Finn had cheated on you with multiple women, and to top it off, he had even stolen money from you on more than one occasion.
Now, standing face to face with him again, you felt a rush of conflicting emotions—anger, hurt, and a flicker of something you didn’t want to admit might still be there.
“What do you want, Finn?” you asked, keeping your tone cold.
He tilted his head, feigning innocence. “Can’t I just say hi? It’s been a while.”
“Not long enough,” you muttered, turning away, but he caught your arm gently, pulling you back.
“Come on, don’t be like that,” he said, his voice soft. “I’ve missed you.”
You stared at him, your jaw tightening. “Missed me? Is that what you told all the other girls too?”
Finn’s smirk faltered for a moment, replaced by something almost resembling regret. “Look, I know I messed up. But maybe we can talk? Somewhere private?”
Before you could respond, you felt a firm hand on your back. Turning, you saw Caitlyn, her expression a mix of concern and warning.
“Everything okay here?” she asked, her eyes narrowing at Finn.
You shook your head, stepping back from him. “Yeah, we’re done here.”
Finn raised his hands in mock surrender, giving Caitlyn a once-over before meeting your eyes again. “Alright, I’ll let you go. But think about it, okay?”
As he walked away, Caitlyn gave you a look. “Are you okay?”
You nodded, though your hands were trembling. “Yeah. Let’s just… get another drink.”
Caitlyn hesitated but eventually nodded, steering you toward the bar. You couldn’t shake the feeling of Finn’s gaze lingering on you, but you pushed it to the back of your mind.
Tonight was supposed to be about fun. You weren’t going to let him ruin that for you. Not again.
The chaotic haze of drinking and partying had left you feeling a little too hot under the collar—agitated, restless, and desperately in need of a moment to yourself. You stumbled your way through the crowd, searching for Jayce. The booming bass of the music thumped in your chest as you finally spotted him perched on top of an expensive-looking table, holding court with a group of people.
“Jayce!” you called, your voice cutting through the noise.
He turned at the sound of your voice, and his face broke into a wide grin. Without hesitation, he hopped down from the table, his movement surprisingly smooth for someone as drunk as he seemed.
“Jesus,” he said, running his eyes over you in a way that made you simultaneously flattered and exhausted. “You look even better than the last time I saw you.”
He pulled you into a warm hug, and you hugged him back, patting his shoulder lightly. Jayce had always been like this—overly confident and unfiltered—but you knew his heart was in the right place.
“Thanks, Jayce,” you said, stepping back. “But, um… where’s the bathroom?”
He waved a hand toward the far corner of the room. “Oh, don’t bother with the public one. Just use mine. It’s upstairs, connected to my suite. See the elevator over there? It’ll take you directly up. My guard will let you in.”
You nodded, grateful for the shortcut. “Thanks, Jayce.”
“No problem,” he said with a wink, before climbing back onto the table.
You made your way to the elevator, a burly security guard already waiting by the doors. Without a word, he pressed the button for you and gave you a curt nod as the doors slid shut.
The ride up was quick, and you were relieved to find Jayce’s suite quiet compared to the chaos downstairs. You stumbled into the bathroom, kicking off your heels as you rushed to relieve yourself. In your slightly drunk state, you didn’t even think to lock the door.
After finishing, you washed your hands, staring at your reflection in the mirror. Your mascara was slightly smudged, and your hair was a little messier than you’d like, but otherwise, you looked… fine. Passable.
The sound of the door opening behind you made your stomach drop. You glanced up into the mirror, your heart sinking as you saw Finn standing there.
“Please, baby, let’s talk,” he said, his voice low and pleading.
You turned to face him, keeping your tone firm. “I’m good, Finn. There’s nothing to talk about.”
As you tried to brush past him, he grabbed you by the waist, his strength keeping you in place as he pressed you back against the wall.
“God, you look so sexy,” he murmured, his eyes dark and focused entirely on you. “Just let me get a kiss. I’ve missed your lips so much.”
Before you could protest, his hand was on your face, tilting it up toward him. You struggled against him, trying to push him away, but he was faster. His lips crashed onto yours, stealing the kiss before you could stop him.
Your mind raced, equal parts shock and anger bubbling to the surface as you fought against his grip. You planted your hands on his chest, shoving him back with as much strength as you could muster.
“Get off me!” you yelled, your voice sharp and trembling.
Finn stumbled back slightly, his expression flickering between surprise and frustration.
“Don’t act like you don’t still want me,” he said, his voice dropping into something darker.
“I don’t,” you spat, your chest heaving. “Stay the hell away from me, Finn. I mean it.”
Before he could say another word, you darted out of the bathroom, grabbing your heels as you made your way back to the elevator. Your hands shook as you pressed the button, praying the doors would close fast enough to keep Finn from following.
When you finally made it back to the party downstairs, your heart was still pounding. The noise of the crowd was both overwhelming and oddly comforting—it meant you weren’t alone. You immediately searched for Caitlyn or anyone you trusted, needing an anchor after what had just happened.
Finn’s presence had ruined the night for you. All you wanted now was to find a quiet corner, breathe, and maybe—just maybe—figure out how to piece yourself back together.
As you made your way back onto the party floor, the noise and flashing lights felt like a cruel reminder of your shaken state. Your heels clicked against the floor as your eyes scanned the crowd, desperately searching for a familiar face. You weren’t thinking much—just running on the hope that someone you trusted could pull you out of the spiral you were sinking into.
Your gaze finally landed on Sevika. She was leaning against the bar, her focus on a small group of girls, flashing them the kind of smirk that had once made your knees weak. Her hand brushed against one of their arms as she leaned in to say something that made them giggle.
For a moment, you hesitated. But then Sevika looked up, her sharp eyes locking onto yours. The instant she noticed the tears streaming down your face, her expression changed. The playful confidence melted away, replaced with concern and something else—something almost protective.
She straightened up immediately, excusing herself from the girls without another word. Her strides were long and purposeful as she closed the distance between you, her brows furrowed.
“Come on,” she said softly, slipping her hand onto your back to guide you. She led you out of the suffocating crowd and into the night air. The quiet of the outdoors was a stark contrast to the chaos inside, and you took in a shaky breath, grateful for the reprieve.
“Hey,” Sevika said, her voice low but insistent. She turned to face you, her hands gently gripping your shoulders. “What’s wrong? What happened?”
“I-I…” You tried to form the words, but they caught in your throat, choked by the sobs you couldn’t hold back.
Sevika crouched slightly, trying to meet your downcast gaze. “Take your time. Just tell me.”
You swallowed hard, finally managing to get the words out. “My ex… he…”
Her jaw clenched immediately. “What did he do? Did he hurt you? Did he touch you? Where did it happen?”
The barrage of questions came quickly, her tone growing harsher with every word. You squeezed your eyes shut, the memories flashing in your mind. “He kissed me,” you finally admitted, your voice trembling. “He made me kiss him.”
Her face darkened instantly, her entire demeanor shifting into something cold and deadly. “What does he look like? What’s his name?”
“Finn,” you said, your voice cracking. “He’s tall, has tattoos everywhere… He’s wearing bright yellow…”
You stopped yourself mid-ramble, suddenly realizing how Sevika’s fists had clenched at her sides, her whole body taut with anger. “Why?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
“I’m gonna kill him,” she muttered, her voice low and venomous. It wasn’t meant for you, but she said it loud enough for you to hear.
Her words sent a shiver down your spine. “Sevika, no,” you said, reaching out to grab her arm.
Her gaze snapped to yours, her eyes burning with a fury you’d never seen before. “He forced himself on you,” she said, her voice trembling with barely contained rage. “You think I’m just gonna let that slide?”
“You can’t,” you insisted, your voice rising. “It’s not worth it.”
“It’s worth it to me,” she shot back, her tone firm and unrelenting.
You shook your head, tears spilling again as you tried to pull her attention back to you. “Please, Sevika. Don’t do this. I just I just need someone right now. Not revenge.”
Her shoulders dropped slightly, and for the first time, she seemed to really see you—the vulnerability, the pain. She let out a slow, shaky breath, her jaw still tight. “Okay,” she finally said, her voice softer now. “Okay. I won’t do anything. Not tonight.”
Relief flooded through you, and you took a small step closer, resting your head against her chest. She hesitated for a moment before wrapping her arms around you, holding you tightly.
“I’m sorry,” she murmured, her voice low. “I’m sorry you had to go through that.”
You didn’t respond, just letting her presence ground you. For now, that was enough.
As Sevika comforted you, the quiet moment shattered when Finn stormed outside, his face twisted in anger. His voice slurred slightly, but his venom was crystal clear.
“You’re such a fucking whore, you know that?” he spat, his voice loud enough to draw attention.
Your head snapped toward him in shock, but before you could react, Sevika stepped in front of you. She squared her shoulders, shielding you entirely. Her voice was low and steady, but there was an edge to it that could cut steel.
“What did you just call her?” she asked, her mechanical arm twitching subtly as she balled her fists.
“A whore!” Finn shouted, stepping closer with an unhinged glare. “Up in the bathroom, playing hard to get, and now you’re cuddled up with some dyke?!”
“Chill,” Sevika warned, her voice dropping further, calm but laced with a deadly undertone.
“Chill?” Finn scoffed, his eyes wide with deranged fury. “Bitch, I’ll knock the teeth out of your mouth. I’ll make the rest of your life a living hell.” He took another step closer, now chest-to-chest with Sevika.
Sevika didn’t flinch. Instead, she tilted her head, giving him a slow once-over before smirking coldly. “Jesus… You dated this man? He’s pathetic.”
Before you could react to the insult, Finn’s fist flew. The sound of his knuckles connecting with Sevika’s cheek was loud enough to silence the faint chatter nearby. She stumbled back a step, more out of shock than pain, her face blank as she brought her hand to her cheek.
Then her expression changed. Fury washed over her features, her jaw tightening as she rolled her shoulders. Without another word, she swung her mechanical fist, and the sound of the impact echoed like a thunderclap. Finn crumpled instantly, hitting the ground like a sack of bricks.
You froze, your breath catching in your throat. Your hand gripped the wall to steady yourself as you stared at the scene, trying to process if this was reality or some drunken fever dream.
Sevika turned to look at you, her breathing even but her eyes searching your face for any sign of distress. You couldn’t move, too stunned to even speak.
The muffled noise of the party behind you suddenly grew louder as someone yelled, “There’s a fight outside!” The doors burst open, and a flood of people poured out to see what had happened. Gasps and murmurs rippled through the crowd as everyone’s eyes landed on Finn’s unconscious body sprawled at Sevika’s feet.
Jayce pushed his way through the crowd, his sunglasses perched on his nose but failing to hide his wide-eyed reaction. Oh shit,” he muttered, looking down at Finn before glancing back at Sevika. “Is he dead? I can’t afford another death…”
Sevika didn’t answer, her gaze flicking to you briefly before focusing back on the crowd.
“He’s not dead,” you said, your voice shaky but loud enough to silence the murmurs. You stepped forward, your hand trembling as you gestured toward Finn. “But he forced himself on me in the bathroom you said was guarded, Jayce.”
Jayce’s head snapped toward you, his sunglasses lifting slightly as if he needed to see you more clearly. “For real?” he asked, his voice a mix of disbelief and concern. “I’m so sorry, (Y/N). I swear I’ll look deeper into this. I mean it. I’ll take your word for it—always. You’re my girl.”
He gestured toward his security team, who immediately moved to pick Finn up. “Get him out of here,” Jayce barked. “And make sure he doesn’t come back. Ever.”
As the guards dragged Finn’s limp body away, the crowd began to disperse, murmuring among themselves. Jayce gave you a small nod before heading back inside, leaving you alone with Sevika again.
She turned to you, her eyes softening ever so slightly. “Are you okay?” she asked, her voice calm but tinged with something that sounded almost like regret.
You nodded, even though your legs felt weak beneath you. “I don’t know,” you admitted quietly.
Sevika stepped closer, her presence grounding you as she placed a hand gently on your arm. “You’re safe now,” she said, her tone firm. “No one’s going to hurt you while I’m here.”
For a moment, you just stood there, letting her words sink in. You didn’t know how to feel—grateful, overwhelmed, or still shaken—but you knew one thing for certain: you felt safer with Sevika than anywhere else in the world.
Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx rushed through the lingering crowd, their worried faces evident as they reached you and Sevika. Caitlyn was the first to speak, her eyes darting between the two of you.
“You okay… both of you?” she asked, her tone a mix of concern and urgency.
Sevika crossed her arms, her usual stoic demeanor back in place. “Yes, I’m fine, Cait,” she replied simply.
You nodded, though your voice wavered slightly. “I am too. Just… a little shaken up.”
Jinx stepped forward, her usual chaotic energy muted but still present. “It’s time to go… yeah?” she said, her voice lighter as she hooked her arm with yours. Without waiting for an answer, she started leading you toward the exit, offering you the comfort of her presence.
Vi and Caitlyn flanked the two of you, and Sevika trailed slightly behind, her sharp gaze scanning the remaining partygoers as if daring anyone else to cross the line. The group moved quickly through the mansion, the buzz of the party now a distant hum as more people decided to leave after the commotion.
The cool night air hit you like a splash of water as you stepped outside. The streetlights cast long shadows on the pavement, and the city’s noise provided a welcome distraction from your pounding heart. Jinx kept her arm linked with yours, humming softly to a song still stuck in her head.
Caitlyn glanced back at Sevika, lowering her voice so only she could hear. “You did good back there. He had it coming.”
Sevika grunted in response, but there was a subtle nod of acknowledgment.
As the group exited the mansion and approached the gates, the blinding flashes of cameras caught you off guard. Paparazzi were already gathered outside, shouting questions and taking rapid-fire photos. The flashes lit up the night like fireworks, and their voices overlapped, each trying to out-yell the others.
“(Y/N)! What happened in there?”
“Who was the guy Sevika knocked out?”
“Sevika, are you protecting (Y/N)?”
“Are you two dating?”
“Finn said you were in a relationship—care to comment?”
You instinctively shrank back, overwhelmed by the chaos. Jinx tightened her grip on your arm, glaring at the reporters. “Seriously, don’t you guys have anything better to do?”
Caitlyn stepped forward, raising a hand to shield her eyes from the flashes as she tried to create a path. “No comments. Leave her alone.”
Vi moved beside her, her presence intimidating enough to make some of the paparazzi take a step back. “You heard her. Back off,” she said firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.
Sevika stayed close to you, her tall frame a protective barrier against the invasive crowd. Her sharp gaze flicked over the reporters, daring any of them to push further.
“Sevika, is it true you assaulted Finn?” one of them shouted.
“Shut it,” Sevika growled, her voice low and threatening. The reporter quickly lowered his camera, the air suddenly tense.
The group finally pushed through the throng of paparazzi, with Vi leading the way and Caitlyn acting as a buffer. You kept your head down, your heart pounding as the cameras continued to snap.
Once inside the car, the driver quickly locked the doors and sped off, leaving the chaos behind. You exhaled deeply, leaning back against the seat as you tried to calm your racing thoughts.
“God, they’re vultures,” Jinx muttered, shaking her head. “Do they ever give it a rest?”
“They’ll move on to something else by tomorrow,” Caitlyn said reassuringly, though her brows were furrowed with concern.
Sevika remained silent, her gaze fixed out the window. Her jaw was tight, and her hands were clenched into fists on her lap. She looked like she was replaying the night in her head, simmering with barely contained anger.
Vi broke the silence, glancing at you in the rearview mirror. “You okay? That was a lot.”
You nodded slowly, though your voice was quiet. “Yeah. Just… tired.”
Jinx gave your arm a comforting squeeze. “Don’t worry, we’ll lock the doors, crank up the room service, and shut out the world for the rest of the night.”
You managed a faint smile, grateful for her attempts to lighten the mood. As the car sped through the neon-lit streets of Vegas, you couldn’t help but glance at Sevika. She was still staring out the window, her expression unreadable.
For now, you focused on the promise of quiet and comfort waiting back at the hotel, desperate to put the night’s events behind you.
Back at the hotel, the group gathered in Caitlyn and Vi’s room, the tension from earlier slowly melting away as the comforting smell of food filled the air. The table was covered with an assortment of takeout boxes—sushi rolls neatly arranged, crispy chicken wings glistening in sauce, golden fries piled high, and several tubs of ice cream waiting for dessert.
Jinx immediately dove for the fries, her mood lightening as she munched away. “This is exactly what we needed after all that drama.”
Caitlyn and Vi sat close together on the couch, their shoulders brushing as they shared a plate of wings. Caitlyn had a small, nervous smile on her face, stealing glances at Vi, who seemed completely at ease.
You took a seat on the floor, cross-legged with your sushi in front of you, watching the dynamic between Caitlyn and Vi unfold. Jinx noticed too, her eyes darting between them. “So… are you two gonna stop pretending or what?”
Vi choked on her drink, coughing as Caitlyn’s face turned beet red. “Pretending what?” Vi asked, wiping her mouth.
Jinx rolled her eyes dramatically. “That you’re not into each other. It’s so obvious.”
Caitlyn bit her lip, looking down at her hands. Vi glanced at her and then back at Jinx, sighing. “Fine. You caught us.”
Caitlyn’s eyes widened in surprise, but when Vi reached over and took her hand, her expression softened. “She was drunk, but I still accepted,” Vi said, her voice low but sincere.
Caitlyn smiled, squeezing her hand. “I asked Vi to be my girlfriend,” she admitted.
You clapped your hands together. “Finally! I’ve been rooting for you two since forever.”
Jinx leaned back, grinning smugly. “Told you so. Now kiss or something. Make it official.”
Vi rolled her eyes but leaned in to kiss Caitlyn, a soft, tender moment that made everyone cheer and clap beside Sevika but she was amused. Caitlyn laughed, hiding her face behind her hands as Vi pulled her close.
The rest of the night passed in a warm, comforting haze. Laughter echoed through the room, and everyone indulged in food and ice cream, the stress of the evening melting away.
When the night wound down, Sevika stood, stretching. “I’ll walk you back to your room,” she said, glancing at you.
You nodded, feeling a flutter of nerves. “Thanks.”
The two of you walked down the quiet hallway, the sounds of the city fading into the background. When you reached your door, you turned to her. “Thank you for tonight,” you said softly. “For protecting me. I don’t know what I would’ve done without you.”
Sevika shrugged, but her expression softened. “You don’t have to thank me for that.”
Trying to lighten the mood, you leaned up and pressed a quick kiss to her cheek. “Well, I’m thanking you anyway.”
Sevika froze for a moment, her lips twitching into a faint smile as she nodded. “Goodnight.”
She turned and walked away, leaving you to enter your room. You closed the door, leaning against it for a moment as your heart raced. Shaking your head, you got into bed, pulling the covers up and letting the exhaustion of the night finally take over.
But just as you were about to drift off, a knock on the door startled you. You got up, wondering who it could be at this hour. When you opened it, Sevika stood there, her eyes intense and her expression unreadable.
“Sevika? Is something wrong?”
She hesitated for only a moment before stepping closer. “Fuck it… I have feelings for you too,” she said, her voice low and rough.
Before you could process her words, she leaned in and kissed you deeply, her hands gently cradling your face. The kiss was firm yet tender, filled with all the emotions she’d been holding back. You didn’t hesitate to kiss her back, your arms wrapping around her neck as your heart raced.
Sevika’s hands slid down to your waist, steadying you as she broke the kiss for just a moment, her forehead resting against yours. “Is this okay?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
You nodded eagerly, pulling her closer. “More than okay.”
She smiled before kissing you again, this time with more urgency. Her hands moved to the hem of your shirt, lifting it over your head and tossing it to the floor. You felt a thrill run through you as you tugged her into the room, your lips never leaving hers.
Sevika kicked the door shut behind her, the soft click of the lock echoing in the room. The night stretched out before you, a mix of passion and emotions that neither of you wanted to end.

loser!bf!Rafe getting jealous after he discovers you have another man's name as your phone password. contains soft rafe, jealousy & tooth rotting fluff, wc; 747 a/n this is a repost oops
“Hey, baby, can I borrow your phone for a moment?” Your boyfriend’s voice erupted through your ears, earning your attention as you adjusted the falsies around your eye, too accompanied with the action to acknowledge the boy hovering behind you, staring at you through the reflection of the mirror.
“Mhm,” you cooed, lips parting with concentration. “It’s on the nightstand.” The boy nodded, instantly retrieving your phone from your side of the bed, approaching you once again, this time with the intention of unlocking it. He adjusted the device in front of your face, in an attempt to use face ID, his plan backfiring when your phone lit with the ‘password required’ screen.
“What’s your password?” He clicked his teeth, leaning his weight against the desk, his figure filling the majority of your view. His fingers soared over the screen, while he patiently waited for you to finish applying your lashes.
“Luvdrew,” you replied, causing the boy to come to a halt, his expression twisting with puzzlement. “But instead of the e, type in a three.”
“Luvdrew?” He questioned, ridiculed by your response. “Who the fuck is Drew?” Your gaze shifted back to bim, dumbfounded by the bitterness seeping through his voice, confused by the sudden change in his tone.
“Oh, Drew Starkey,” you continued, flashing him a smile, oblivious to how casual you were making the conversation seem, upsetting Rafe even more. “You’ve never heard of him? He used to be my celebrity crush.”
“And you have him as your password? What, you think about him every time you unlock your phone?” His face fumed with annoyance, not failing to hide it as he clicked his teeth, tossing your phone back on the desk. “I don’t even want to use your phone anymore, let that Drew guy use it instead.”
“What?!” You started, a soft chuckle knocking out of your chest, fully abandoning your makeup on the desk, attention fixing on Rafe, whose face expressed nothing but sulkiness. “Are you jealous?!”
“No!” He spat back, eyebrows curling with frustration. “Why would I be jealous because you have another man’s name as your password, when you clearly have a boyfriend?!”
“You are jealous.” You snickered, getting up from your seat. You leveled your face with Rafe’s, tilting his head with a hand to his chin. He avoided your gaze, brushing off the touch as he seized his head down in his lap, not giving in to your coy gesture. “Look at me, I’m sorry! I’ve had it for a while, before we even dated, I must’ve forgotten to change it. I’m sorry! He’s a literal celebrity, baby.”
“Whatever,” he scoffed, resisting the hand engulfing the curve of his jaw. “Go be with Drew, maybe he’ll treat you better, since I’m not good enough for you.”
“Rafe!” You shot back, surprised by his stubborn attitude. “Why are you acting like this, I’m sorry.” You pecked the corner of his lips, mimicking your action when he angled his head to the side, a silent invitation for you to continue kissing him. You littered open-mouthed kisses to his mouth, chest swelling with pride when the latter smiled, pressing his lips into a thin line to hold himself back from further giving into your compelling. “There you go, don’t sulk with me, you know I love you.”
“You’re ridiculous.” He mumbled in between kisses, lingering for a moment when you captured his lips in between your own, his moving over yours in an attempt to deepen it. His hands sneaked around your waist, sandwiching you with his legs to keep you in place. “I love you too, I guess.”
“You guess?” You shrugged, “I’ll change my password to luvrafe, there, are you happy?” You muttered, leaning your head back when Rafe chased after your lips, desperate to kiss you.
“Yeah, yeah.” He rolled his eyes, hesitating to mutter his next statement. “So… is that Drew guy more attractive than me?”
“No,” you shook your head, “No one is more attractive than you, you’re the most handsome man on earth.”
“Oh?” He cocked his head to the side, amused by your response, seeking more of your attention. “What else?”
“Oh, don't get cocky with me.” You teased, grinning from ear to ear. You tilted your head to the side, your next sentence an attempt to rile him up. “You know, I might’ve exaggerated, Drew’s an attractive g–”
“Fuck off!” He interrupted your sentence before you could further speak. “I’m done with you.”

✧˖*° ࿐ drunk. ⋆· ˚ ༘ *
pairing: boyfriend!chris sturniolo x reader
summary: chris being a gentleman, taking care of you after drunkenly stumbling into his apartment.
warnings: mentions of alcohol, use of ‘baby & ma’, lowercase intended
chris, laying down on his living room couch starts to get worried when his urgent texts to you don't go through. it's about 2 am, you were supposed to be home an hour and a half ago.
chris decides something must be wrong, and sends a text to one of your closest friends who was at the party with you.
as he begins his text, he hears slight tapping coming from the front door. thinking it may be a stray cat, or something like that, he brushes it off and continues his text to your friend.
chris is soon interrupted by you bursting through the door, with a smirk on your face. chris shoots up from the couch, and swiftly walks over to you.
he cups your face in his hands for a short moment before asking, "baby, where have you been? do you know what time it is?" he says as he flashes his phone screen in your face with the time on it.
you squint your eyes at the sudden brightness, and push his phone away as you begin to walk to the kitchen for a snack. as you walk, you begin to stumble. chris is right with you as he holds your waist steady.
"cmon baby, let's get you to bed. you've had a long night." he says as he tugs on your sleeve.
you protest, giving him puppy dog eyes, but he doesn't give in. he brings you into your shared room, and speaks softly to you.
"sit down baby, let's get you into something more comfy." he says as he motions towards the end of your guys' bed.
as you sit where he tells you, he begins taking off your heels. discarding them neatly towards the closet. he then speaks up again, "arms up"
you oblige, lifting your arms weakly. he takes off your dress, and replaces it with one of his t-shirts. he then takes off your shorts, again replacing them with one of your comfy shorts.
he walks to the bathroom, and shortly returns with makeup wipes. he takes one out of the package and begins to take off your makeup. all you can do is admire him as you can see how much effort he puts into your relationship, and always making sure your alright.
he continues to take your makeup off as you get lost in that thought. you begin to reminisce on all the times he's cared for you, even when he didn't have to.
"baby? are you okay?" he says as you snap back to the moment.
"yeah, i'm good. i- i just really love you.." you admit in a caring tone. he smiles at you lovingly before giving your forehead a kiss.
chris stands up, holding his hand out for you to grab. as you grab it, he walks both of you towards the head of the bed. you slowly lower yourself down, and chris is holding you gently.
as both of you lay down, chris is quick to pull you into his embrace. you fall asleep almost instantly. chris then whispers to you as you smile in your sleep, "i love you so much, ma."

Wet Dreams - Matt Sturniolo
"Now i'm in your wet dreams. You said don't know what it means. Now all you wanna do is sleep. Let me show you what it means"
WARNINGS: innocent!reader x Matt, smut, slight fluff, cussing
A/N: Feedback, interaction, and requests are appreciated! ok bye
requested?: nope
word count: 1,128
Pink: Y/n
purple: Matt
You and Matt have been best friends for what feels like forever. He's been there for you during your lowest and highest moments. Nothing can come between you two; he would never let it happen. You tell each other everything—you know all his secrets, and he knows all of yours.
Except for one.
"You wake up in a sweat. You wake up, and you're wet, mmm"
Your eyes shoot open as you wake up in your bed. Your body burning up, and your palms are sweaty. Your heart races as you quickly look beside you. You sigh in relief; it was just a dream.
You slowly sit up and feel a warm, sticky sensation between your legs. Your cheeks are bright red as you replay the events of your lustful dream with Matt. Out of everyone, your erotic dream had to be about you and your best friend.
Your phone buzzes, pulling you out of your trance.
You glance at your phone, your heart still racing, and you see Matt’s name flash on the screen. A mix of excitement and embarrassment swells in your chest. You hesitate for a moment, wondering if he somehow sensed your dream. Taking a deep breath, you swipe to answer.
“Morning!” His voice happy and calm
“G'morning Matt…” you reply, trying to keep your tone casual. “What’s up?”
“I was wondering if you still want to grab lunch today?”
Your mind races. Spending time with him feels terrifying after that dream. “Sure, sounds good,” you say, attempting to sound nonchalant.
“Great! I'll pick you up soon.”
“Okay, see you soon, Matt.” You hang up and feel a flutter in your stomach. You know you must shake off the dream, but it lingers like a vivid secret between you.
"I've got you wrapped around my hands, and, fine, you got me too The world knows all your secrets, only I know the whole truth"
You sit in Matt's passenger seat as the playlist you two share blares through the speaker. You cant seem to take your mind off the lewd dream of yours. I mean, it's not like you hated the idea. But loosing matt to an intimate moment was never something you wanted to happen. So you bottled up your feelings and stored them away.
“You good there, Y/n?" The way he says your name, you can't help but think of the way he was moaning it in your dream. You force yourself to snap back into reality. "What do you mean?" He turns to look at you, "You look like a dear in headlights over there, tell me whats wrong".
You chuckle nervously, trying to brush off his concern. “I’m fine! Just a little tired, I guess.”
Matt raises an eyebrow, clearly not convinced. “You sure? You know you can tell me anything.”
His sincerity pulls at your heartstrings, making you even more aware of the line you’re trying to walk. You shift in your seat, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks again. “Yeah, really. Just had a weird dream.”
“A weird dream, huh?” He grins, a teasing glint in his eyes. “Care to share?”
Your face is burning up again. He's stoped at a red light, looking at you, waiting for an answer.
"Of you and i" You say hesitantly avoiding his eyes. "Yeah? And what were we doing?" he says taking your hand an caressing it slightly.
You feel the same wetness you woke up with as your stomach starts to flip. "I-i don't know" you say. He takes your chin and turns your head to face him. "You had your head, b-between my thighs."
He smirks, "You been havin' wet dreams of me, doll?" he says taking a strand of your hair behind you ear. By instinct, you squeeze your thighs together.
"Lemme show you what it means"
You don't even know how things got here. All you know is that Matt has pulled over in some field, and you're in the backseat of his car with your legs over his shoulders. Just like your dream
"You sure you want this baby?" You shyly nod. "Matt, I just, I've never done this before." "I know, baby, I know. I'll go real slow, okay?" again as he presses his lips against yours. "Tell me when you want me to stop, and I'll stop, okay?" You nod eagerly, desperate to feel his lips on yours again.
"Fuck, i've needed this for so long Y/n, you're so beautiful". His lips move down your neck as he sucks it, leaving his mark on you. You let out a moan and tug on his hair.
He lifts up your skirt and pulls off your panties. The exposure causes you to whimper and close your legs. He simply spreads them back open and just admires you.
He lowers down kissing your inner thighs before licking up the middle of your slick folds.
You immediately arch your back and accidentally squish his head between your thighs. "Matt," You whine. He smiles "You're okay, sweetheart, I've got you".
His mouth on your pussy feels like pure bliss. He kitty licks your clit and then sucks it, causing you to arch again. You gasp, "Gosh Matt-oh my- oh my gosh.' You moan uncontrollably. Your hand flies down to grab a fist full of his shaggy brown hair in an attempt to push him away.
You feel a knot in your stomach. "Matt!" you yell, trying to get his attention. He looks up to see your other hand on your lower stomach.
"You gonna cum? Come for me, princess," he says, using his fingers to rub circles on your clit. "How?" You say, whining. "Just let go," he says before he goes back to sucking on your clit.
Your moaning is mixed with Matt's; the sound fills the car. Your eyes roll back as you feel it. You cum, squirting it all over Matt. He wastes no time and licks it all up, looking back up at you with a proud smirk.
Your legs are shaking and your back is arched off the seat. You open your eyes to see Matt's staring right back at you, admiring his work.
"Fuck Matt" you say, feeling your heart. "So good you swore huh?" you smile. "i love you" If your cheeks weren't red before, they definitely were now. "I love you too Matt" You say shocked. "Let's get you home so i can clean you up"
"Well, tell me more, nothing less"
The two of you decided to spend the rest of the night snuggled in your bed, watching a movie. "Matt?" You look up at him. "yes, pretty?" You smile. "Thank you." He smirks and rolls his eyes.
"Just let me know when you have a 'weird dream' again"

Shattered— Nicholas Chavez x Actress!Reader
summary— you’re an actress on the brink of fame and you fall for your co-star Nicholas Chavez. discovering his secret coupled with your unexpected pregnancy changes your entire dynamic.
warnings— cheating, mentions of infertility, mature language, grief and loss, mentions of pregnancy, mentions of unprotected sex, abortion, manipulation.
a/n— kinda long but i’m a slut for angst, also this is all just my imagination and fantasy, it’s not based on nicholas irl <3
Alternative Ending
From the very first time you got an acting role, your manager told you, never engage in relations with your co stars. Looking down at the two positive pregnancy tests on the counter, you wished you had taken heed to her wise words.
You and Nicholas had been thrown into the spotlight together, both relatively new to the fame game. As co-stars, you’d developed a chemistry that felt electric, especially during your lovey-dovey scenes on camera.
As the filming progressed, those on-screen moments started to seep into your off-screen life. You’d find yourselves stealing kisses between takes, getting lost in long conversations about everything from your childhood dreams to your favorite late-night snacks. It was easy to forget that this was just work. You felt like you knew each other inside out.
One evening, after a particularly long day, you were in your trailer, and the laughter just flowed. “I really like this,” Nicholas said, leaning closer, his eyes locked onto yours. “It feels special, you know?”
You nodded, heart racing. “Yeah, it does. I’m just scared of what happens after this season wraps. Will we still have this?”
Nick brushed a thumb across your cheek, his gaze intense. “I’m not going anywhere. I promise I’ll always be here.”
You couldn’t help it; you leaned in and kissed him, the connection between you two crackling like electricity. Everything felt perfect in that moment, but in the back of your mind, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off.
What were you missing? Why did he keep his life back home so close to his chest?
As your days turned into nights filled with mind blowing sex, you tried to enjoy every second, but the nagging doubt wouldn’t disappear. You were falling for him, and you wondered if he felt the same way, or if this was just a fun distraction for him.
As filming continued, he made sure to keep the relationship casual, reassuring you that it was all good between you two. “You know I care about you, right?” he’d say between takes, pulling you close, his lips pressing against your forehead, “But a public relationship? It might restrict me from getting certain roles.” You nodded, wanting to be supportive. After all, you understood the pressure of the industry. But deep down, a nagging thought lingered, was there more to it than that?
Still, you brushed off your doubts. You were wrapped up in the excitement of your new life, enjoying every moment of intimacy with Nicholas, nights spent tangled in sheets, whispering sweet nothings, and experiencing a side of Hollywood that felt like a dream. There were moments when he’d use condoms, and others when he’d pull out, but you never worried about getting pregnant. You knew you were infertile, and that fact brought you a strange sense of comfort.
During one of your casual conversations, you mentioned your part-time passion for photography. Nick lit up at the idea, and you quickly arranged for him to meet a photographer friend of yours who worked for magazines. “I’ll be sure to use them,” he said, his tone light. You didn’t think much of it, just a favor for a friend.
Then came the twist, Nick’s character was off the show for a few episodes. He returned to his hometown, and suddenly, the set felt empty without him. You missed him deeply, especially because you’d been feeling under the weather lately. The sickness hung over you, but you knew he needed a break so you didn’t bother him in staying.
As the days went by, his texts became infrequent. You found yourself wondering if something was wrong. Maybe he was just busy? Maybe he was having fun back home? And then, you noticed your period was late. You weren’t scared per se, you remembered the infertility diagnosis, but something felt off.
In a moment of playful distraction, you called your sister. “I’m late,” you joked, half-laughing. “Maybe I should take a pregnancy test?” She encouraged you, laughter spilling over the phone, making it feel lighthearted.
You picked up two tests from the store, ensuring they weren’t expired. When you took the tests, you expected nothing. But to your shock, both tests came back positive.
The laughter faded, replaced by disbelief. You dropped the phone, feeling a wave of panic crash over you. Pregnant? How could this happen? You were still so new in your career, and Nicholas. How would you even tell him? Would he be happy? He had dreams to chase, and now there was a little life to consider.
Your mind raced with possibilities and worries. You knew you needed to talk to Nicholas but the fear of how he’d react was large. You’d built something beautiful, but this was a twist neither of you had planned.
The days dragged on as you tried to process everything. You took a few days to cool off, completely unsure how to proceed. The set was chaotic, your mind was racing while you were trying to act normal. Multiple takes of one scene felt like torture, especially when you had to run off to throw up in between. The directors were patient, but you could sense their frustration growing. You felt guilty, this pregnancy wasn’t their fault, and yet you were struggling to keep it together.
Just two days before Nicholas was set to return, the chaos hit a new level. You received a message from the photographer you had linked Nicholas with. “Check out how cute your co-star looks with his girlfriend!” it read, accompanied by a series of images. You froze as you opened the photos. There he was, Nicholas, beaming in a pregnancy announcement photoshoot with a woman. A woman who was his girlfriend.
Shock coursed through you as confusion and anger collided. Your heart sank, it felt like a punch to the gut. You hadn’t taken any photos with Nicholas, and now you realized why he had been so secretive about his life outside of filming. He was expecting a baby with her. You wanted to scream, shout, break things, or blow up his phone. But instead, you just sat there, staring blankly at the screen, tears streaming down your face.
You ran to the trailer bathroom, clutching your stomach as nausea washed over you. You felt it to your core, the reality of your situation was devastating. He had been playing you both, living a lie, and now here you were, grappling with the knowledge that your pregnancy was based on deception.
Days passed like a blur. You did your best to get through filming, but every time you returned to your trailer, the reality of the life growing inside you became unbearable. You would throw up and clutch your stomach, feeling the weight of what was supposed to be a beautiful moment turned sour by lies.
Finally, the day arrived when Nicholas returned to set. He burst into your trailer, the energy in the room instantly shifting. “I missed you!” he exclaimed, wrapping his arms around you and planting a gentle kiss on your forehead. But you just sat there, staring blankly at him, the pregnancy tests in hand, proof of the life you were now burdened with.
He pulled back, looking at you with concern. “What’s wrong?”
The words caught in your throat. You were ready to confront him, ready to expose the web of lies. But all you could manage was a shaky breath, your heart racing in your chest as you prepared for the storm ahead.
With shaky hands, you thrust the pregnancy tests into Nicholas’s face, your heart pounding. “Here.”
He looked at the tests, confusion swirling in his eyes. “W-what? What the fuck is this. Is this… are you pregnant?” The realization hit him hard, and you could see the panic creeping in.
“Yeah, I am!” you shot back, your voice rising.
“Fucking hell!” he shouted, “my- my fucking career is just taking off, I’m filming a show, this- this wasn’t supposed to get this far.”
“Are you hearing yourself?” You couldn’t believe the things he was saying. “My career is just taking off, I’m filming a show too Nicholas.”
His expression shifted, the initial panic giving way to something more defensive. “I can’t handle this right now! My career is just starting, and I didn’t want to be tied down like this.”
Anger bubbled up inside you, boiling over like a volcano. You could sense the manipulation in his tone, the way he was shifting the blame onto you. “It’s always about you, isn’t it?” you yelled, pushing him away. “You’re just thinking about yourself!”
He reached for you, attempting to pull you back into his embrace, whispering, “It’s going to be okay. We’ll figure this out.” But you shoved him off, your emotions raw and unfiltered.
“Figure this out?” you screamed, your voice echoing in the small trailer. “How can you say that when you’re two-timing? Look at these!” You threw your phone at him, the pregnancy announcement photos landing in his lap. His face twisted with fury.
“Are you serious right now?” he shouted, his anger igniting. “I made a mistake with one of them! It wasn’t supposed to go this far! We’re filming a show together; I can’t just drop everything!”
You stared at him in disbelief. “You’re not the Nicholas I thought I knew. How can you act like this? You’re a fucking two-faced liar, sleeping with two girls and getting both of us pregnant!”
He raked a hand through his hair, his expression a mix of frustration and despair. “I can’t do this. Not now. You need to- you need to get an abortion.”
The words hung heavy in the air, crashing down around you. You looked at him, heart sinking, disbelief coursing through you. “Are you serious? You want me to end this?”
Nicholas looked away, the weight of his own choices crashing down on him. But it was too late, the damage had been done.
Nicholas’s voice was cold and detached. “Yes, I want you to get an abortion. I’ll give you money for it. You need to have it gone by tonight.”
You felt your heart shatter all over again. “How can you refer to our baby as ‘it’?” The bitterness in your voice was undeniable.
He shrugged, pacing the small trailer. “I don’t know what an abortion can do to your body, but you’ll need time to rest. What are you going to tell production?”
You shook your head in disbelief. “I don’t know either! But how can you be so heartless?”
“Listen I can’t deal with this, I have a girlfriend and a baby on the way,” he muttered, lowly.
You couldn't take it anymore. “No! I am your girlfriend! WE have a baby on the way, or at least I thought I was your girlfriend!”
Nicholas stopped pacing, his expression a mixture of guilt and confusion. He ran a hand over his face, clearly overwhelmed.
“This isn’t how it was supposed to be,” he muttered, unsure of what to say next.
Then, as if the weight of the world was pressing down on him, he turned and left the trailer without another word, leaving you alone in the silence.
You hugged yourself tightly, tears streaming down your cheeks. The reality of your situation crashed down on you. You felt utterly lost, your heart aching for the life you once envisioned, now shattered.
That night, you lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling, your mind spiraling as you weighed your options. If you kept the baby, everything would change. Your career, just beginning to gain traction, would be stalled indefinitely. You’d be a single mother, left alone to care for a child Nicholas had already written off. And as a man, he’d be fine. Even with two babies on the way, he wouldn’t be the one carrying or caring for them.
On the other hand, if you didn’t keep it, you weren’t even sure if you’d get another chance. The thought tore at you, but you knew what the world would say. They’d call you a homewrecker, maybe even try to destroy your reputation, and all without knowing the truth. It would be you, bearing the weight of his lies.
Finally, with a heavy heart, you booked the appointment for the next morning. You went alone, tears streaming down your face as you went through it, feeling each moment echo in the hollow of your chest. By the time filming started later that day, you were late, your spirit shattered.
Nicholas spotted you as soon as you walked onto set. He approached, his voice low, but his eyes sharp. “Is it done?”
You nodded, feeling a hollow ache that reached all the way down to your bones. You could barely look at him, but when you did, all you felt was disgust. He added, as if it was some minor detail, “Don’t even think of reaching out to my girlfriend.” You couldn’t believe how cold he’d become, as if you were nothing more than a piece of his past.
Then the call for your scene echoed across the set, and you took your place opposite him. It was a romantic moment, a kiss, meant to be tender and full of passion. But when his lips touched yours, it felt like everything was wrong. The kiss was forced, awkward, each movement filled with a desperation neither of you could hide.
When the director called, “Cut,” you pulled away and fled, barely making it to your trailer before the tears began to flow. Just hours ago, you were carrying his child. Now, all that remained was an empty ache and a broken heart. In some twisted way, you felt almost relieved that you no longer had a part of him inside you. And yet, the loss left you feeling like a shell of who you once were.
A few days after the procedure, you felt like you had nothing left of him. Nothing to show for the life you’d once carried, the part of him that had been yours alone. He had been such a huge part of your life just days before, and in mere hours, that illusion had shattered completely.
The filming continued, and soon the news of his pregnancy announcement with his girlfriend went public. You watched as the set was buzzing with congratulatory wishes for him. Everyone beamed at Nicholas, showering him with smiles and words of celebration. Meanwhile, you did your best to hold yourself together, concealing the sadness that now rested in the hollow of your heart.
When the season finally wrapped, the months that followed became a time of rebuilding. You put everything into healing, into rediscovering yourself. By the premiere night, you were the picture of poise and confidence, draped in a red dress that turned heads. When you stepped onto the red carpet, even Nicholas did a double take, momentarily caught off guard by your transformation.
After the red carpet, he approached, offering a hollow smile. “So, how are you feeling? I just need to know, it’s really done, right?” He hesitated, glancing around, and added, “I heard sometimes fetuses survive abortion…”
The audacity of his words made you sick. Anger sparked in you, and you hissed, barely holding back your rage. “Yes, Nicholas. Our baby is dead. Thanks to you.” You were barely a few weeks along so you wouldn’t have considered it a baby but you wanted to say anything to knock him down.
As the night continued, you managed to keep your composure, even when his pregnant girlfriend approached you with a sweet smile, chatting as if you hadn’t unknowingly been fucking her boyfriend raw. All the while, Nicholas hovered nearby, his eyes sharp, ensuring you didn’t let anything slip. You walked away feeling relief. He’d no longer have a hold on you.
The following months brought a fresh start. You threw yourself into work, your career skyrocketing as you landed a massive film role. Meanwhile, Nicholas seemed to fade from the spotlight, mostly at home with his girlfriend, waiting for their baby. Until, finally, karma came for him, an article revealed that the child he thought was his was actually someone else’s, belonging to a rockstar his girlfriend had left him for.
You couldn’t help the satisfaction that spread through you. He’d reaped exactly what he’d sown, and you hadn’t lifted a finger.
The Oscar nomination was the pinnacle of your success, and the night of the awards ceremony arrived. To your surprise, Nicholas showed up, desperate to find you. He cornered you at last, offering a string of apologies and congratulations, asking for another chance now that he was alone. But you saw through him, his desire was only to latch onto your newfound fame. You looked him in the eyes, remembering everything he’d put you through. He had destroyed you, once. But you had risen again, and he was nothing to you now.
Without a word, you turned and walked away, leaving him to watch as you went forward, leaving him in the past for good.

How would the l&ds men react if they find out about you telling your bestfriend about what happens between you two in bed ?
Xavier , Zayne , Rafayel and Sylus x reader (separately)
requests are open btw :)
Xavier
making yourself comfortable on the couch of your guys' living room , giggling and kicking your feet , totally letting your guard down thinking your handsome boyfriend is still napping .
"I'm telling you tara he may look nice and gentle , but in bed?? noo that guy is the exact opposite of gentle , not that I hate it though" , this was a message sent to your best friend Tara while you girls were discussing how the intimate time with your boyfriends is like.
Xavier passes through the hallway and notices your little giggles and the way you were pretty glued to your phone's screen , curious , he enters the living room without you noticing and gets behind you , and yes he pretty much read everything before you finally noticed him standing behind your back .
you were met with his raised eyebrow and a look on his face that clearly says *really?* , "Xavier what--" he cuts you off "I'm the one who should be questioning you right now , don't you think?" he sighs and proceeds "honey ..what is that , that you're doing?" , you hide your phone behind your back , your cheeks heating up "I mean....nothing important? " , he sits besides you making sure to face you , "nothing important?" you could sense the teasing tone in his voice , he's mocking you "ok , ok i know it might seem weird but it's just tara you know ?" you say brushing it off, "lovely I know you're close with tara but.. to that extent?" he asks , "yeah don't worry it's pretty normal between us....I mean this isn't our first time talking about...this.." xavier raises his eyebrow again but this time in amusement.
"well then" he gets closer to you then raises your chin with his hand "why don't I give you two more stuff to talk about?" with one swift motion , he ripped the buttons off your shirt staring dangerously into your eyes while at it "you make sure you tell her exactly of what is about to happen to you" he mocks you with a wicked grin.
Zayne
You've been waiting for your husband to pick you up from your work place for quite sometime now , however, thankfully your best friend Tara decided to keep you company while you wait for his arrival.
and somehow your conversation had took a rather an interesting turn , "ohh zayne is almost never gentle during it" you say sighing then proceeding "but it is because I , most of the time , rile him up" you remarked proudly , tara gets intrigued "ohhh? do tell your secret" ,she gets closer eager to get some tips from you , "darling" a voice cuts you both off , and you both flinch at the sudden voice coming between you , "it seems like a very important topic you both are discussing , but I'm afraid we have to go home" he says this with the most normal collected tone ever , like you two weren't just talking about his habits in the bedroom , tara gets embarrassed and excuse herself , but she does shoot you a look of "good luck" before leaving you two to be.
on the way home zayne never mentioned it , in fact he was asking how was work today and some other normal questions , so the ride was quite peaceful.
however as soon as you guys are in the house , he finally comments "so I'm almost never gentle huh?" he says so out of the blue with a smirk on his face , catching you off guard , you were hoping he'd actually ignore it and never mention it "well? am I wrong tho??" you reply trying to save some face by attacking him , "no you aren't" he says simply , "but only because almost everytime you rile me up" he said emphasizing the 'you' in the sentence , "zayneee" you whine "stop teasing me ok? you might think it's weird but it's quite normal between girlfriends to.....gossip" you said the last word while hiding your face in the palm of your hands , he chuckles at your state , approaching you he grabs your hands removing them from your face to look at you all flustered , but you moved your gaze away looking at everything in the room but him , "darling look at me" he says gently , and you can't help but fold "I'm not mad , but in fact a little invested in what you tell her" now his tone changes from a gentle to a very teasing one again "I'm pretty sure you've told her about what makes you feel good" he whispers in your ears seductively determined on teasing you , you pause for a few moments but ending up nodding to him defeated , "well then I guess you have to tell me as well , providing me with specific details that is".
Rafayel
it wasn't weird for you that rafayel drags you beside him sometimes , when he wants to paint , he claims that he's able to concentrate better when you're by his side.
but the more your boyfriend painted, the more focused he became, giving you the perfect opportunity to answer the texts tara sent you earlier, unnoticed .
"so you were talking about how your boyfriend is such a tease huh?" tara's texted "yeah exactly , this man has no shame he'd tease me at his workplace sometimes" you reply not knowing that you were smiling unintentionally while writing this, "although i can't say I dislike the thrill that comes with it" you add completely absorbed in the conversation , not noticing your boyfriend who's been trying to talk to you for a minute now , he eventually gives up and snatches the phone out of your hand bringing it up to his face "what's got you so entertained that you forgot about my presence?" he said looking through the screen trying to identify the reason , "rafayel don't---" you said trying to get your phone back before you get busted
"too late my love too late" he winks then gives the phone back to you willingly "I saw everything" he says leaning back relaxed , totally unbothered , but rather amused , and this got you more nervous than you already were , you wanted to say something to defend yourself , you really did ,however you didn't find any .
"ohhh you poor little girl" rafayel mocks getting closer , "seems like the cat got your tongue" his hands are now resting on your hips feeling them up and down slowly "I should tease you like I always do" he parts your legs with a swift motion startling you "only then I could get your sweet sounds to come out".
Sylus
sylus was never the one to pry , but when he overhead you on the phone with tara , he raised an eyebrow.
he had heard some very interesting remarks coming from you , of how he left you breathless and weak in the knees last night , all described in thorough details .
You didn't even notice him standing in the doorway until his deep voice cut off your conversation .
"so that's what you tell your friends?"his tone was a mix of amusement and curiosity , you jumped , clutching the phone to your chest "uhh sylus....I didn't see you there" you said flashing him an innocent smile .
his gaze lingred on you for a while , scanning you , before speaking "I wasn't aware our nights were a topic of discussion between you two" he says crossing his arms.
you huffed , setting your phone aside still red faced , "well it's normal , ok??" you explained defensively "girls share these things with eachother , and tara is the one that I go to for....stuff".
"Stuff?" sylus repeated clearly enjoying watching you flustered , he moved closer backing you against the wall as he leaned down , his face inches from yours , "care to share exactly what kind of 'stuff' you told her?".
you tried to maintain your composure , but your face kept heating up at the memory of the stuff you told her "just ...you know??" you muttered, looking anywhere but his eyes , "no I don't know kitten , speak up" .
you huff again "I...might've mentioned...how rough you are" you admitted , voice barely audible , sylus on the other hand was satisfied with the answer "I see" he hummed with dark amusement , leaning to whisper in your ear "next time , I'll make sure there are a few things you can't quite put into words".

neighbor!toji finds you sitting in front of your apartment door late at night as he's coming home and at first, he's really not planning on saying anything. he still doesn't know you, he hasn't talked to you – the most you've gotten is a look and a nod whenever you happen to take the elevator with him or when you just bump into him on your way out. and he really isn't the type to make small talk but with your knees pulled to your chest and your head rested on top of your hands, you look miserable and toji finds it very hard to ignore you.
he keeps stealing glances at your curled up figure as he searches for the keys in his pocket and it's only when he's got the door open, he swallows the weird lump in his throat.
"y'wanna come inside?" his voice is raspy, tired, but it does the job of luring you out of your little bubble.
there's a moment of silence.
toji isn't stupid, he knows the dangers of the world and it doesn't take him long to realize how strange his offer might sound. his eye twitches out of sheer embarrassment as he averts his gaze, rough fingers fidgeting with the keys in his hand.
"that would be really nice actually, yeah."
there's no suspicion in your tone, nothing that would indicate that you're thinking what he's thinking. toji's mossy green eyes meet yours and he's met with a look he knows all too well.
exhausted.
"just so i can charge my phone?" you're already trying to apologize for yourself. to tell him that you'll only stay for as long as you need, afraid that you're bothering him.
but he just gives you a hum, patiently waiting for you to push yourself off the ground. for a moment, you stand next to him in front of the door, waiting for him to step inside first but when he gestures to go in before him, you don't argue with him. your hushed 'thank you' doesn't go unheard.
his apartment is tidy. probably even more so than your own. it looks surprisingly cozy – the light isn't a big, bright one but a dimmed down one instead and the sight of his big couch makes you let out a soft sigh. from the corner of his eye, toji observes you. he hasn't had anybody over in a long time and now here you are.
he tells you to take off your shoes and to take a seat while he goes to look for a charger, giving you the perfect opportunity to take a better look around the place – dvd's, old magazines and newspapers, a few movie posters and one singular plant. it's not a lot but it still feels like a good home.
at the sound of his voice, you snap out of your thoughts. your fingers brush against one another as you take the charger from him with another 'thank you'. a
"you're not going to kill me or anything though, right?"
...
for a man his size and his age, he feels a bit small under your gaze. you're blunt more than anything and he's just a little caught off-guard by your question.
"no."
"that's good."
you break the eye-contact to look for a place to plug in the charger and he feels relieved. "you feel safe."
you say it like it's nothing.
"i wouldn't've accepted the offer from anyone else, i think. well, maybe from the lady across the hall but then again, she'd just scold me for being up so late and i'm way too tired for that."
the words slip from your lips as if they're light as air while toji needs a second to really hear you, to know that he isn't making you uncomfortable. that in your eyes, he isn't scary or threatening in any shape or form. perhaps you're just naive for putting your trust into a stranger like this but toji still can't help but feel a little warm inside.
he doesn't say anything and you don't mind his silence. you do thank him a third time and let your lips curl into a proper smile when he almost unintentionally raises his brow at you – like it's weird that you're doing that.
he ends up bringing you a glass of water before joining you on the couch, both of your eyes set on the tv screen and the show that plays on it as you eakt for your phone to come alive again.
it doesn't feel wrong to just be with him like this.
it's right enough for you to let your exhaustion sneak up on you. your eyelids grow heavy without you even realizing it and then you're already dozing off on your neighbor's couch.
your quiet snores are so unfamiliar, the mere idea of somebody being able to fall asleep in his presence so surreal that he's left sitting there dumbfoundedly. regardless, he reaches for a blanket before throwing it over your body ever so carefully and turns down the volume of the tv as to not disturb you.
a stranger, a neighbor. somebody, who makes him feel a bit more alive. a silly comment, a blunt reply. a smile and a thank you.
a push to keep on going.
#soggy wet cat toji strikes again#everything i write is always very self-indulgent but this is like . next level#this is very VERY selfship coded okay#this is also . very not proofread#like i am half-asleep rn..#but i needed to get it out#ilove him#wahhhhhhh#also reader has no keys i only now realized that i didn't say it in there anywhere lmao#ahh whatever i sleep now#zzzzzzzzzzzzz#toji#mickey is daydreaming#miji

Heyy can you do a matt x reader one where reader is filming a car video with the triplets and they told people to send in questions for her some one put” give me a chance y/n I’ll treat youill treat way better than Matt” replies with “hit me up yk my insta” Matt gets mad for rest of the video and when they arrive at their shared home with the trips they make up and cuddle
hope you like it!! <3
Hit Me Up ➵ Matt Sturniolo
The car was filled with its usual lively energy, the kind of banter that made the Sturniolo Triplets’ videos so entertaining. You were sitting in the backseat, right next to Nick, with Chris and Matt in the front. The camera propped up in the front caught everyone’s reactions, as usual. Today was special, though. They had asked their fans to send in questions for you.
As someone who had appeared on their channel here and there over the years, people were always curious about you—how you fit in with the triplets and, more specifically, about your relationship with Matt. Today’s video was meant to be light and fun, a chance for you to answer some of the silly and random questions their followers had sent in.
The laughter came easily as Chris read the first few questions, and you answered, giving playful responses while Nick threw in his sarcastic commentary. Everything was going fine, until Chris’s voice trailed off as he read one of the questions that had come in.
“Oh, okay, we’ve got a spicy one,” he said, holding back a laugh as his eyes darted from the screen to you and Matt. “‘Give me a chance, Y/N, I’ll treat you way better than Matt.’”
Your stomach dropped, and for a split second, the air in the car felt heavier. You could feel Matt tense in the front seat, his hands gripping the steering wheel a little too tightly. The joking atmosphere shifted.
Instead of brushing it off, you felt a mischievous grin tug at your lips. You looked straight into the camera and, with a playful tone, replied, “Hit me up, you know my Insta.”
You could hear Nick and Chris laugh at your response, but Matt… Matt didn’t say anything. His jaw clenched ever so slightly, his gaze fixed on the road ahead. You could feel his mood darken from where you sat, and the lighthearted energy in the car shifted awkwardly as the conversation moved on.
The rest of the video felt different. Whenever someone tried to involve Matt in the conversation, he gave short, clipped answers, his usually playful tone replaced with something colder. You glanced at him through the rearview mirror a few times, but he avoided your gaze, his eyes glued to the road or the questions on his phone.
It wasn’t long before Nick noticed Matt’s shift in mood. “What’s with you, Matt? You good, bro?” Nick asked, eyeing him curiously.
“Yeah,” Matt muttered, his voice tight, “just tired.”
That was a lie. Everyone in the car knew it. You tried to shake off the sinking feeling in your chest as you realized he was actually mad about your joke, and though you wanted to say something, you knew this wasn’t the time or place. Not on camera.
The rest of the video dragged on, Matt growing more and more snappy with each passing minute. When it was finally over, Nick turned off the camera, and you all sat in silence for a moment before heading back home. The tension between you and Matt was palpable.
When you arrived at the house you shared with the triplets, Matt was out of the car as soon as it was parked, muttering something about going to his room. He didn’t wait for anyone, didn’t say a word to you. The door slammed behind him, leaving you standing there with Nick and Chris.
Nick gave you a look, his eyebrows raised. “What the hell was that about?”
You shrugged, trying to play it off even though your heart was sinking. “I think he’s mad about that question.”
Nick chuckled. “You’re kidding, right? It was obviously a joke.”
“Yeah, well, Matt’s being Matt,” Chris said, his voice a little softer. “Maybe you should go talk to him?”
You nodded, already dreading the conversation that was about to come. You made your way inside and up to Matt’s room. The door was closed, and you hesitated for a moment before knocking gently.
“What?” His voice was sharp, but you could tell he was trying to keep it in check.
You slowly opened the door, peeking inside. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, his elbows resting on his knees, staring at the floor. His usual laid-back expression was replaced with a frown, his whole body tense.
“Can I come in?” you asked, your voice soft.
He didn’t look at you, but he gave a small nod. You stepped inside and closed the door behind you, walking over to sit beside him on the bed.
There was a beat of silence, the weight of unspoken words hanging between you.
“You’re mad,” you finally said, though it wasn’t really a question.
Matt sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Of course I’m mad, Y/N. How am I supposed to feel when you joke about that?”
You frowned, the confusion and frustration starting to bubble up inside you. “It was a joke, Matt. You know that, right?”
“Yeah, well, it didn’t feel like one.” His voice was tight, the hurt seeping through despite his attempt to keep it at bay. “It’s not funny to hear someone say they’d treat you better than me, and then for you to play along with it? What was I supposed to think?”
You stared at him, your heart sinking further as you realized how deeply it had affected him. “Matt, I didn’t mean it. You know that I’d never actually—”
He cut you off, finally looking up at you, his eyes filled with frustration. “But you said it. You said, ‘Hit me up, you know my Insta,’ like… like it wouldn’t bother me at all. Do you have any idea how that made me feel? Like I’m not enough.”
His words hit you hard, guilt settling in as you realized how much your thoughtless comment had hurt him. You reached out, placing a hand on his knee. “I’m sorry, Matt. I didn’t think… I didn’t realize it would hurt you like that. It was stupid. I shouldn’t have said it.”
He let out a slow breath, his shoulders sagging as some of the tension left his body. “I just… I don’t like the idea of anyone thinking they could take you away from me.”
Your heart clenched at the vulnerability in his voice, and you moved closer, wrapping your arms around him. He tensed for a moment before finally relaxing into your embrace, resting his head on your shoulder.
“No one could ever take me away from you,” you whispered, your voice soft and full of reassurance. “I’m with you because I want to be. I love you, Matt. You’re more than enough for me.”
He didn’t say anything at first, but you felt his arms slowly wrap around you, holding you close. The warmth of his body against yours made the tension in the room start to melt away, replaced by the comfort of being together.
“I love you too,” he mumbled, his voice quieter now, more gentle. “I’m sorry for snapping at you… I just— I don’t know, sometimes I get insecure.”
You pulled back slightly to look at him, brushing a hand through his hair. “You don’t need to be insecure. I’m not going anywhere, okay?”
Matt gave a small nod, his eyes softening as he looked at you. “Okay.”
You smiled, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead, and he closed his eyes, letting out a content sigh as he leaned into your touch. For a moment, you both just sat there, the weight of the argument fading away as you held each other.
“Come on,” you said after a while, your voice soft and teasing. “Let’s go lay down.”
Matt nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips as he followed you to the bed. You curled up together, his arms wrapped securely around you as you rested your head on his chest. The warmth of his body and the steady beat of his heart beneath you was all the reassurance you needed.
“I’m really sorry,” you whispered again, tracing small patterns on his chest.
He kissed the top of your head, his hand rubbing slow, soothing circles on your back. “It’s okay. I just… I love you so much. It freaks me out sometimes.”
You smiled against his chest, your heart swelling with affection for him. “I love you too, Matt. Always.”
And with that, the last remnants of the argument dissolved, replaced by the comforting quiet of being in each other’s arms. The world outside didn’t matter anymore — it was just you and Matt, together, as it had always been.

𝓕IRSTS 𝓦ITH 𝓨OU !
pairing : bucky barnes x implied fem!reader warnings : implied size diff, established relationship, tfatws!bucky, fluff, wc : 2.6k summary : you introduce bucky to the things he’s missed out on, namely the office, theme parks, and emojis :3
bucky’s fingers hovered over the screen of his new phone, brow furrowed in concentration. you had been explaining how everything worked for the past half hour - apps, texts, even sending pictures - and while he was doing his best to keep up, you could tell he was still lost in the sea of modern technology.
“so, this is how you send a text,” you said, pointing to the message box. “you just type what you want to say, then hit send.” you hit a few buttons on his phone and then pulled away to give him some space.
he nodded slowly, looking at the screen as if it were a puzzle he hadn’t quite solved yet. “okay. and... the emojis?” he asked after a pause, his tone unsure.
“they’re just little pictures to add to what you’re saying. makes it more fun, i guess.” you flashed him a quick smile before adding, “and, if you’re talking to me, you’re gonna use them, or else i’ll think you’re mad at me.”
bucky’s lips curved upward just a fraction at the playful challenge. “right,” he muttered, glancing back at the emojis, his expression turning serious again. “this one - ” he tapped an image of a smiley face, “ - this is good, right?”
you nodded with enthusiasm. “perfect. now try sending it to me.”
bucky hesitated for a moment before carefully typing out a message: “Hey. 🙂”
he looked at you for approval, his blue eyes searching yours.
“well done,” you said softly, holding back a giggle. “you did it, buck.”
he grinned, a little relieved but still unsure. “guess ‘m getting the hang of this.”
“you are,” you replied, your voice filled with genuine encouragement. you could see him trying, and that was enough to make you proud.
“now,” you began, leaning in closer, “I’m going to teach you how to send a selfie. It’s easy.” you grabbed your phone and showed him how to take a picture, flipping the camera to face him. “like this.”
“a selfie?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
“yeah, you’re going to love it,” you said, snapping a quick picture of him as he looked confused but willing to give it a try. “okay, now you do it. just - ” you stopped yourself, realising something. “don’t look so grumpy, though. smile a little.”
bucky rolled his eyes but played along, pulling a reluctant smirk before he tapped the button to take the picture. “this feels weird,” he muttered, but his gaze softened when he saw the result. he stared at the picture of himself for a moment, before looking at you. “it’s not bad.”
“not bad at all,” you said with a smile, grabbing your phone and sending the photo to him.
you watched him check his phone, his brow furrowing once more as he took in the photo, then back at the screen as you sent a quick text: “that smile is great, by the way.”
he read it, then quickly typed back: “you’re making fun of me.”
“no, i’m not,” you teased, tapping the keys with your fingers. “i think it’s cute.”
before he could respond, you leaned in, brushing your lips against his jaw. his body went still at the contact, the soft touch of your lips drawing his attention away from the phone. without saying a word, he kissed you fully, his lips warm and steady against yours.
“you talk too much,” bucky murmured when he finally pulled away, his voice gruff but affectionate.
you couldn’t help but giggle, looking up at him. “sorry,” you said, smiling in that way that made his chest tighten. “but i’m trying to teach you how to use a phone.”
“teach me less,” he replied, but there was a hint of amusement in his voice. before you could answer, he kissed you again, this time slower, his lips lingering on yours longer than before. it was like he couldn’t help himself, needing to pull you close and forget about everything else.
when he pulled back, there was a softness in his eyes that was so different from the gruff exterior he usually put on. “you’re a distraction,” he admitted, though he didn’t sound bothered in the least.
“only when i’m teaching you how to text?” you asked, your smile still wide.
“always,” he said with a grin, kissing you again, this time more gently, as if savouring the moment before pulling away and reaching for his phone.
he looked at the screen again, tapping at it thoughtfully. “okay, what about this one?” he asked, tapping a face with hearts for eyes. “it seems like... the right one.”
you grinned, unable to resist the warmth that filled you at how cute he was, trying so hard to understand all this. “perfect,” you whispered. “now, send it.”
bucky hesitated for a beat, then pressed send. he turned to look at you, like he was asking for your approval.
“you did it,” you said softly, heart swelling with affection. “now, you’re a pro.”
he raised his eyebrows. “am i allowed to text you good morning now?”
“whenever you want,” you said with a grin, your hand finding his and squeezing it gently. “and i’ll send you emojis all day.”
bucky looked at his phone again, glancing up at you with a fond smile. “then i’m gonna need to figure out a lot more emojis.”
“take your time,” you teased, before your lips met his once more, this time without interruption.
the apartment was dimly lit, the only light coming from the tv screen where the office was playing. you had insisted that bucky give the show a try, promising him that it was the perfect mix of awkward humour and heartwarming moments. at first, he had grumbled about it, saying something about not needing to watch “a bunch of idiots in an office.” but here you were, four episodes deep, and you could see that little spark of amusement in his eyes.
bucky had his arm draped around your shoulders, his large frame practically swallowing you up as you nestled into his side. you were curled up against him, legs tucked under you, head resting on his chest. every now and then, you could feel the rumble of his low chuckle vibrating against you whenever something on-screen caught him off guard.
“i still don’t get how that jim guy hasn’t been fired yet,” he muttered, shaking his head as jim played yet another prank on dwight. “guy’s got a death wish or somethin’.”
you smiled, turning your face up to look at him. there was a light in his eyes, the corners of his lips twitching upwards as he tried to hide how much he was actually enjoying the show. “maybe he reminds you of someone?” you teased, poking his side.
he shot you a look, all mock seriousness. “you callin’ me a troublemaker?”
“if the shoe fits,” you replied with a grin, turning back to the screen.
as the episode continued, you found yourself more focused on him than the tv. you loved seeing bucky like this, relaxed, at ease, his defences down for once. there was something so endearing about the way he’d get lost in the episodes, brows furrowing when michael said something ridiculous, or the rare moments when he’d throw his head back and laugh - a real, deep laugh that you couldn’t help but adore.
during one of those moments, as pam and jim exchanged a look, you felt his chest rumble with laughter, and it was so infectious that you couldn’t help but giggle, too. he glanced down at you, catching you staring, and for a second, it was like the rest of the world disappeared.
“what?” he asked, his voice softening.
“nothing,” you said, a little shy under his gaze. “you’re just... cute when you laugh.”
his eyebrows shot up, surprise flashing across his face before it softened into a shy smile. “yeah? well, don’t go tellin’ everyone.”
you laughed, but before you could tease him more, he suddenly shifted, tugging you closer until you were practically in his lap. your breath hitched as he wrapped both arms around you, enveloping you in his warmth.
you fit so easily against him, his hands splaying over your waist, and you could feel the steady beat of his heart under your cheek. the show kept playing in the background, but you were completely lost in the moment, the way he held you so gently despite his strength.
“you’re missing the best part,” you whispered, but your voice was soft, almost hesitant, like you didn’t really want to break the spell.
“nah,” he murmured, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of your head. “this is the best part.”
your cheeks warmed, and you couldn’t resist tilting your head back to steal a quick kiss. he met you halfway, his lips warm and surprisingly soft, his stubble scraping pleasantly against your skin.
“hmm, you taste better than jim’s pranks,” he teased, a smirk tugging at his lips when he pulled away.
you rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the smile that spread across your face. “careful, barnes, you might start liking sitcoms.”
“only if you’re watchin’ them with me,” he said, squeezing your waist gently.
you settled back into his chest, letting the familiar sounds of dunder mifflin fill the room. with one hand idly playing with the hem of your shirt, bucky seemed content, occasionally making little comments about the show under his breath that made you giggle.
as the theme song played for the next episode, you reached for your phone to check the time, but bucky’s hand covered yours, stopping you. “stay,” he murmured, his voice low, almost pleading.
you glanced up at him, surprised by the hint of vulnerability in his eyes. it wasn’t often that he asked for things so openly, but when he did, it always tugged at your heart.
“okay,” you whispered, setting your phone aside and snuggling closer, the two of you wrapped up in each other as the episodes played on, the world outside forgotten for just a little while.
the air was filled with the sounds of laughter, the occasional scream from the roller coasters, and the smell of funnel cakes and popcorn drifting through the breeze. the theme park was bustling with life, a kaleidoscope of colours and sounds that made your heart race with excitement. you could hardly contain your giddiness as you pulled bucky along by the hand, weaving through the crowd.
bucky, on the other hand, looked a little overwhelmed. his brows were furrowed as he glanced around, taking in everything like he was preparing for an ambush. it was endearing, really - the way his grip on your hand tightened every time someone bumped into you, his protective instincts kicking in.
“relax, buck, it’s just a theme park,” you teased, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.
he grunted, still looking suspiciously at a guy in a giant mascot costume waving at children. “yeah, well, not sure i trust a place where people scream for fun.”
you couldn’t help but laugh, tugging him closer. “that’s the whole point! come on, let’s try a ride.”
you led him to the line for one of the tamer rides - a classic spinning teacup attraction. bucky eyed it warily, but he didn’t protest, letting you drag him into one of the pastel-coloured cups. once you were seated, you watched with a grin as he tried to figure out how the ride worked, his large hands gripping the metal wheel in the centre.
the ride started to spin, slowly at first, then picking up speed. you were laughing uncontrollably, the wind whipping through your hair, and when you glanced over at bucky, he had this look of pure concentration, like he was trying to out-spin everyone else.
“bucky, it’s not a competition!” you managed to gasp out between giggles.
he shot you a playful glare, a rare smile breaking through his usually stern expression. “everything’s a competition, doll.”
when the ride finally slowed to a stop, you were both a little dizzy, but you couldn’t stop smiling. you staggered out of the teacup, and bucky’s arm was instantly around your waist, steadying you. “you good?” he asked, his voice low and a little rough.
“never better,” you replied, leaning into his side.
next up was the game booths, where bucky’s competitive side really came out. you challenged him to one of those rigged carnival games where you had to knock down bottles with a baseball. he rolled his eyes at the way the game operator explained the rules, clearly unimpressed, but when it was his turn, he hit every target dead-on, not even breaking a sweat.
“show-off,” you teased, but you couldn’t hide the admiration in your voice.
“what can i say? i’m good with my hands,” he shot back with a wink, handing you the giant stuffed bear he won as a prize. your cheeks warmed, but before you could retort, he leaned down to steal a quick kiss, effectively shutting you up.
with your new teddy bear in tow, you wandered through the park, trying different snacks and taking in the sights. at one point, you insisted on getting a picture in one of those cheesy photo booths. bucky tried to protest, saying he wasn’t “photogenic,” but you dragged him in anyway.
the two of you squeezed into the tiny booth, your legs tangled together because of how little space there was. as the camera flashed, you made silly faces while bucky looked a little bewildered, but by the last frame, you managed to coax a smile out of him - a real one that made his eyes crinkle at the corners.
you couldn’t stop staring at the printed photos as they rolled out, your heart swelling at how happy he looked. he glanced over your shoulder, shaking his head with a chuckle. “gonna frame that, aren’t you?”
“damn right i am,” you said with a grin, tucking the strip of photos safely into your bag.
the sun was starting to set, the sky painted in hues of pink and orange, when you finally made your way to the roller coasters. bucky was skeptical at first, muttering something about not trusting “rusty death traps,” but you could see the way his eyes lit up with a mix of curiosity and adrenaline.
“just one ride,” you pleaded, giving him your best puppy eyes.
he sighed, but there was a hint of a smile tugging at his lips. “fine, but if we die, i’m haunting you.”
you laughed, grabbing his hand and dragging him into the line. as the coaster climbed higher and higher, you could feel the tension in bucky’s shoulders. you reached over, lacing your fingers with his. “it’s gonna be fun, trust me.”
the drop was sudden and exhilarating, your screams mixing with the rush of wind, and when you dared to peek at bucky, he had this look of pure, wild joy on his face. it was rare to see him so carefree, and it took your breath away more than the ride itself.
when you finally stumbled off the coaster, legs like jelly, bucky was grinning like a little kid, his hair windswept. “okay, that wasn’t so bad,” he admitted, looking almost bashful.
“see? i told you,” you said, wrapping your arms around his waist and leaning up to kiss his cheek. he pulled you into a proper kiss instead, right there in the middle of the bustling crowd, not caring who was watching.
“thanks for dragging me out here,” he murmured against your lips, his voice soft in a way that made your heart flutter.
“anytime, sarge,” you teased, smiling up at him.
he just shook his head, a fond look in his eyes as he pulled you closer. “you’re trouble, you know that?”
“yeah,” you said, resting your head against his chest, “but you love it.”
he just chuckled, pressing another kiss to the top of your head, and you knew he wouldn’t trade this day for anything.

★WINTER VISITOR: jason todd x reader.
( first part here !! ; afab!reader, cuss words, smoking, sexual content ) ────────── ★
"It's you again." You murmured, your voice sounding extra quiet now that it was past midnight. You could see the tired look in his eyes as he sat down on the wooden floor of your porch, his legs stretched out in front of him, reminding you of the position he was in that day you found him bleeding right there, at that same spot.
It had been a few weeks, maybe two and a half... and there he was: the Red Hood, back at your house, looking up at you with those white shining eyes of his ridiculous helmet.
"Yeah, it's me." He said, and before you could even process or think about the modulated voice, he removed the helmet. Now, only the area around his eyes was covered by that little domino mask.
You didn't like smoking inside, so you often went out to the porch for this sole purpose. To smoke a blunt. It calmed you down, though you didn't enjoy the actual action of smoking that much. It was... er, alright.
You exhaled the smoke slowly, and that was when he noticed what you were doing. "Can I be really honest with you right now?" He murmured, still looking up at you. You offered a soft grunt as a response, and he continued: "I would never, ever, in any possible circumstance ever, guess that you were a stoner." He said, a light chuckle following his words.
You furrowed your eyebrows, something that you seemed to do a lot in his presence, but you weren't offended in the slightest.
"Well... uh, thanks?" You mumbled with little interest. "I do it mostly for the buzz."
"I guessed you'd say that." He teased, a little stupid grin on his lips, and you glared at him.
"What's that even supposed to mean?" You inquired, a faux-offended tone in your voice.
"Nothing, nothing." He snorted, leaning his head back against the wall.
"What are you doing back here anyway?" You asked, now moving to sit down close to him. Honestly, you didn't really mind that he was who he was right now. You were stoned, tired and... didn't give a shit. You'd probably still sit in the same spot if you were sober.
He sighed, closing his eyes for a brief moment. "Was passing by and saw you out." He looked over at you, watching as you sat down beside him as he spoke. "Can I have a drag?"
"Sure." You mumbled, handing him the blunt. Woah, now you were gonna share saliva with him. Where the hell was your life going?
You mimicked his position, leaning your head against the wall. The night was freezing. You two probably shouldn't be outside, but you were covered in your warmest clothes, and he didn't seem to be cold, so you brushed your own concerns off.
"I looked you up, by the way." He murmured, handing you the little joint back. "Not much out there."
You arched one eyebrow at his words. Oddly enough, this time you weren't weirded out. "And you're admitting it?"
"Uh, yeah." He shrugged, letting out a soft huff. "Trying to make conversation or something." You laughed at that. What the hell was this guy's deal?
You didn't seem to be angry at him, so he kept talking to you. The whole thing was unusual for both of you. Talking to strangers (sorta) and being comfortable while doing so wasn't something that happened often in your lives.
You two spent hours and hours talking, even after you finished the blunt. It was nice, and even though it was still freezing, you two weirdly didn't bother by it. Maybe it wasn't that cold.
When you woke up the next day, you were in your bed, all tangled up in your sheets. You didn't even know how you got there, but you felt light, like you had a good night of sleep. Also unusual, because every time you smoked, you had the shittiest sleep of your life, but it seemed like this time had been different.
You picked up your phone, and as soon as you unlocked the screen, there was a text notification from a contact that you didn't recognize.
It was a red heart emoji, just that, and the text said: "If you're wondering, yes, I was the one who put you to bed. And yes, I snooped around your room 😝"
You rolled your eyes at that and tossed the phone down on the matress.
★...
More often than not, your few friends noted how affectionate you were. Always giving them little touches, brushing hair back, playing with the strands, fixing their clothes, stroking their arms with your fingers, even tying their shoelaces. It was all so you.
You didn't have many people close to you, and not because you were a loner, simply because you valued your hodiernal connections enough and didn't feel the need to look for anything else at the moment. You liked your friends, in fact, you loved them.
So, when that guy in the red helmet started showing up at your porch at ungodly hours at least three times a week, you started to consider adding him to your circle of friends. It wouldn't harm anyone, he was nice, and your friends wouldn't know anyway.
He was surprisingly talkative with you. You always expected those harsh and violent vigilantes to have harsh and violent personalities even when they weren't doing their job, but he was cool. He talked about a lot of things with you just to keep the conversation going, and you thought it was cute.
"... so... hey, did you get a new lamp?" He asked as he flopped down aggressively on your couch, interrupting his own line of thought. He was asking you about the neighborhood cat before.
You nodded at that, standing across from him while you fixed the little Christmas hat that had fallen off your bookshelf. "Yeah, the other one I had broke. I kinda bumped into it."
He hummed at your explanation, and you recognized the sound of his helmet being taken off. Always, as soon as he got comfortable in your house, he removed it.
While you had some trouble getting the Christmas decoration to stay in place, he stared at your back. Taking in your little green and red pajamas, your slightly messy hair, the dark green socks on your feet, and the way you seemed to be struggling terribly to get the Christmas hat to stay up. Adorable.
He stood from the couch and walked over to help you. "Let me try." He said, gently nudging your hands away. You sighed and let him.
You watched his concentrated face as he tried to put the little red and white hat in a position where its own weight wouldn't make it tumble. He looked nicer up close.
"It's Jason, by the way." He mumbled, eyes focused on fixing the hat. You furrowed your eyebrows.
"Huh?"
"My name. It's Jason." He explained.
He already knew yours. You had told him a few weeks ago when you shared a blunt for the second time.
"Ah, alright." You mumbled back to him, trying not to sound surprising. Jason. It was a cute name, and it seemed to fit him. "Fits you."
He finally got the hat to stay up, and he turned to you with a big, proud smile. You found it quite adorable how much he smiled around you. You didn't know if he was like this all the time, but you chose to believe it was a unique thing.
You two just stared at each other for a moment, him proud of his achievement, and you thankful for his help.
"Do you know how profound your eyes are?" He blurted, making a stupid face at you. Truly, he was gazing deeply into your eyes.
"If this is you trying to hit on me, you're failing." You retorted, a little smile appearing on your lips.
"Just saying." He shrugged, stepping back a bit. "I fixed your hat. You're welcome."
You watched as Jason walked back to your couch, flopping down onto it once more and letting out a lazy groan. His eyes closed, and he let out a tired sigh.
"Rough night?" You murmured, sitting down beside him. Your couch was comfortable and fit up to three people. Most of these nightly visits were spent in it, talking away. It was all too cozy.
Recently, he had started placing his arm around you when you sat closely, that and gently caressing your hair. And, this time, it wasn't different. As soon as your head touched his shoulder, his arm was around you, and his fingers started threading through your hair.
When you got closer, spending time with Red Hood Jason became something like spending time with yourself. Despite the absurdly different lifestyles, you two had a lot in common.
Like physical touch as a love language, liking sweet tea, reading, staying up until dawn, and, of course, being each other's secret. Nobody knew about your midnight visitor, and nobody knew where he went when he became unreachable past midnight.
"Yeah, rough night." He said, his voice becoming softer as he steadied himself with your help, the help of your presence, of your proximity. "Just, like, lots of stupid people making my job even harder."
"I get it." You murmured, looking up at him through your eyelashes. He was to your left, his right hand playing with your hair while you half-rested your back on his chest. It wasn't awkward anymore. You weren't even sure it ever was. "It used to be like that at my old job, and then I got a job at that little bookstore close to Gotham U."
"Mmm." He nodded, tilting his head a little in your direction, but his eyes remained closed. "You think you'd recognize me if I went there in my normal clothes?" There was a faint smile on his lips as he muttered those words.
"Probably." You said smuggly. "That little mask doesn't hide much."
"True," he chuckled softly, his eyes fluttering open to look down at you. They still look tired, and you had no idea if you'd ever see him looking not-tired. Maybe cause you've never seen each other after a good night of sleep. "But, they hide the most important part of my face. You can see the color of my eyes, yeah, but you don't know what's the shape of them or anything."
"Makes sense. Yeah, I think I wouldn't recognize you at first, but I'd recognize your voice, for sure." You said.
"What? Is it special or something?" He smiled at you, his fingers giving your ear a light, playful tug. "I bet you wouldn't recognize that either."
You gasped dramatically, hand cluching chest as you looked at him with the dumbest smile on your parted lips. "How dare you doubt me?" You inquired, your tone dripping of sarcasm.
"I mean..." he mumbled. "I guess you might recognize it. I don't know... we'll- we might see it one day." He fumbled over his words, his cheeks reddening. You got him flustered by making fun of him.
You wondered if that guy snuggled up with you on your couch, mumbling and fumbling over his words because of you was the same guy that beat and killed criminals in the deeps of Gotham. How could he be so... him? People have layers, yes, but this man is unbelievable.
Everything went quiet for a few minutes, only the faint sounds of your breathing and the soft hum of the heater could be heard, but those were muffled by the pull of your gazes on each other. He couldn't stop staring at your face, at your nose, at your lips, at your forehead, at your eyes. Like he'd never seen something so flawless, so polished, so complete ─ all he needed.
And you stared at him, at his mask, at the paint around his blueish-green eyes, at his chapped, but rosy pouty lips, at his straight nose, at his cheekbones, his chin, the white and black locks that fell on his forehead, his ears and the small earings on them. Like you'd never seen someone so unique, that seemed to be right there for you. Just for you.
You sighed when the staring contest became too much, but neither of your gazes strayed. His eyes focused on your lips, and you'd recognize that look in any light.
"Can I be really honest with you right now?" You murmured, and you could see a little smile creeping on his lips when he registered your words. Or, his words. He offered a soft "mhm" in response. "I want to kiss you so fucking bad. I think I might die if I don't."
"You might die?" His tone was soft, slightly mocking. "I don't think I'd like for that to happen."
"It'd be all your fault..." you taunted, giving him ridiculous puppy eyes. But, he was ridiculous too, and they worked so well on him.
He simply chuckled at you, and in half a second, his hand in your hair was used to push your head closer to his face as he leaned in, capturing your lips in the softest kiss you've ever shared with someone. It was lazy, he wanted to adjust to your pace, to let you guide, and you kept it deliciously slow and delicate, your heads moving and lips touching each other in a way that was simultaneously so tender and so sensual.
His hand slid to your cheek, holding you closer and caging you in his embrace while you raised a leg and placed it right on top of his, draping it over his lap, almost to mimic his hold on you. He used his left arm to pull you even closer by that same leg, your chests touching as the kiss became more intense and your tongues met.
He parted his lips to invite it, and you gladly accepted, sliding it inside of his mouth and caressing his own languidly and in a pleasant way, earning a hum from him that you swallowed in your kiss.
The feeling of your lips on his, his hands on you, his tongue on yours... way more satisfying than you'd ever imagined. You didn't think he'd feel so good on you.
His hand on your leg pulled you on his lap, the kiss becoming sloppy as you both shuffled on the couch to get you into a straddling position, each one of your thighs beside and squeezing his, your knees digging into the soft cushions of the couch as the kiss started getting a little more intense.
After all this time knowing and wanting each other, even if the attraction was suble, you'd expected wildness, despair, hands clutching clothes, teeth clashing, lips being biten, but that wasn't happening. What was in the air was need, tenderness, longing, and comfort, almost like it was a normal Thursday.
But it wasn't, and the both of you knew that. It was something new, something that you had yet to explore with the other. You were, of course, stepping into uncharted territory, a land which you knew nothing about. How would it be from now on? He'd still come almost every night? You'd still text constantly? Would you still call him in between your breaks to gossip about your boss? Would things get difficult and complicated?
These thoughts made you pull back from the kiss. Fucking anxiety. The pleasant and wet pop of your lips parting would've made you smile if you weren't so preoccupied. "Sorry." You mumbled into his lips. "Thinking too much."
"Don't worry, I get it." His nose brushed yours, and his heavy, warm fingers slipped under your shirt. He was panting a little, his cheeks, lips and neck flushed. He wanted you so bad. "If... you just want to chill and hang out like we usually do, we can just try to go back to that. Don't overthink it, okay? This doesn't doesn't have to be complicated."
You furrowed you eyebrows at him. "I don't see how this would not be complicated." He smiled at you, at your words, at whatever. He was, honestly, just glad to have you there, on top of him, speaking to him with your pretty voice after he had your tongue down his throat.
"I mean... like, don't think too much. I know it's easier said than done, but I think we'll figure it out anyway." He explained, his words sounding so sweet as he obviously spoke in a way that you just knew was an attempt to comfort you. "I don't wanna sound stupid and mushy, I really don't, but... yeah, I want with you... whatever you want with me. As long as you're happy and satisfied."
"Jason, what the hell do you mean?" You mumbled, narrowing your eyes at him. He laughed at your tone.
Saying his name felt weird. Until some time ago, you only called him Red Hood. But it also felt right, felt closer, deeper, maybe even made you feel warmer inside. The both of you.
"That I like you and I'm happy to be here, doing this with you." He said. "I don't know if it's too fast, maybe it is, but I'm in for it if you are."
Jason squeezed your waist, his eyes glued to yours as he waited for your response. His fingers caressed your skin, the palms of his hands heating up your sides while the pads of his digits squeezed your soft derm.
"I like you too." You whispered, almost afraid of your own words, but he was just marveled about how sensitive and sincere you sounded. "I'm in."
He offered you a gentle smile, warm and inviting, and you smiled back, your eyes crinkling at the corners. That sight reminded him of something.
"Take it off for me?" You looked confused at his request, a little curious pout on your lips. "The mask." Oh.
Carefully, your fingers reached for the black domino mask around his eyes. Even though you were excited to finally see what was under there for so long, you weren't hesitant. It peeled off easily, and you caught a glimpse of his temple once you started pulling it away ─ in five seconds, there he was. Jason.
He had black paint smeared around his eyes, but you could see him clearly even under the dim, warm lighting of your living room. You two were so close that you could see almost all of his lower eyelashes, but the top ones merged with the paint. You couldn't take that.
You wiped the oily paint away with the bottom of your shirt, just hoping it was washable. He simply let you. And in a minute, you finally had him there. All of him, all of his face.
"Your eyes are pretty." You murmured, hands now coming up to craddle his face. "Like, the shape."
"You think?" His voice was low and soft as he asked, and he received a nod in response. He loved when you complimented him, and you didn't do it often. "Kiss me?"
You just nodded again. You'd never dare refuse him. Your met him in a more certain kiss this time, now used to each others lips. He squeezed your waist once more, pulling you closer to him as the kiss intensified. Your clothed cores rubbed and chests pressed together with the movement, and you two grunted at the contact.
Your hands slid down to his shoulders, then to his biceps. You just had to grasp at them. And his own went up to your back, making you tingle. It was already too much, yet not enough.
You moved your hips against his, searching for more of that sensation from just a few seconds ago, and in no time, he was guiding the movements, his hands on your waist, moving you back and forth. The friction was delicious, and it made you both moan in each other's mouths, the sounds making everything so much more pleasant.
His mouth left yours only to press at your cheeks, going up to your temples, and then back down to kiss under your ear, then all over your neck. He just wanted to swallow you whole, but while he couldn't do that, he'd have to settle for kissing you all over.
He painted your neck with red marks, his lips sucking and leaving wet, open-mouthed kisses everywhere he could reach. Your hands went to his hair, sometimes tugging at his locks, sometimes caressing his scalp. He couldn't get enough of your touch, of your body against his, of your skin. He needed you.
You kept moving against him, rubbing yourself on his crotch to try and soothe the want you felt inside. You couldn't feel that much through your pants. They were thick to keep you warm, but you felt hot enough already.
Jason's hands around your waist lifted you up from his lap with ease, then guided you down to lay on your back on the couch, and you pushed some pillows to the floor on the process so you could fit better. He straddled your hips and pulled his shirt off all while you stared up at him with your pretty eyes.
You didn't hold back when you felt the urge to touch him, your fingers tracing his abs so carefully, caressing all of the skin you could reach without sitting up. His skin was littered with scars, and the ugly gash from before was healing slowly ─ it was still a red, long scar on his chest, its color showing that it wasn't fully healed yet, but much better than before. It wasn't that deep of a wound, but with him constantly having people beat him, neither of you expected it to heal quick and gracefully.
"I want you." You murmured quietly, a little embarrassed of your own words, but they were the ultimate truth. You wanted Jason and anything he could offer to you at that moment.
His eyes followed your hands, and he placed one of his on top of yours, pressing your fingers against his skin. "I'm yours." He whispered, and you wondered if he meant right now or from now on.
You looked back up in his eyes, and you felt heat pooling at your lower belly when you noticed the look in them. Like he wanted to consume you, and you wanted him to. Right now.
His hands lifted your shirt, bunching it up past your chest as he leaned down to capture one of your nipples in his mouth while his fingers softly grazed the other, caressing it. You slipped your fingers in his hair again, pushing his head against you, and you felt him move his hips against yours once more.
With that, you could feel how much he wanted you as well, as the bulge in his thick pants pressed against you even through the heavy layers. You wanted those heavy layers off.
"Jason," you mumbled his name, hands gently squeezing his shoulders. "Take your pants off."
You heard him let out an amused huff at your request, and he went back up to his previous position, looking down at you. He guided your hands to his belt, and you knew what to do.
Swiftly, your fingers unbuckled it, pulled it out of the loops, and tossed it to the floor of your living room, you both heard as it landed on the mat with a soft thud. You went for his button next, then for the zipper. You caught a glimpse of his black boxers, salivating at the mere view of them.
He helped you push his pants down and then tossed them to the floor as well. When he was free of his, he yanked yours away without warning, making you let out a surprised yelp, in which he delighted himself.
He laughed at the sound you made while he removed your green socks, and you glared up at him for surprising you. "Not funny." You muttered, but he shrugged playfully at you.
He leaned down to nuzzle your neck after he removed your shirt as well, the gesture reaking of the affection he felt for you. His hands splayed on your stomach as his lips and nose caressed your senstive skin, and you squeezed at his arms, your legs sneaking past his and wrapping around his hips.
His hands went for your ankles, caressing the back of them as he dived back into your chest and then down to the valley in between your breasts, then to your stomach, and then to the place where you wanted him the most.
His hands went back up to your sides now, but he brought one down to caress you through your panties, brushing a finger over the damp spot in them, and then one over your clit. He smiled at how your thighs pressed on his shoulders and then at you when his eyes found yours.
He kept rubbing that same spot through the thin fabric, stimulating your clit, but not too much. He knew you wanted more, both of you did, but he wanted to savor that moment, and you appreciated that, even if you were dying for him to just pull those panties off and have his way with you.
Jason hooked one of his fingers onto the waistband of your underwear and finally pulled them off. Unlike the rest of his clothes, he didn't toss those on the floor, placing them on the beside you instead so you wouldn't have trouble looking for them later.
He looked down at you, exposed to him for the first time, his mouth salivating at the sight of you wet, swollen, and flush all because of him. He didn't have the strength to tease you anymore in that moment. He just dove in.
His hand that was toying with you before went back to your empty side, pulling your body closer to him so he could properly burrow his face in your pussy while he ate it, and then it moved to press at your lower stomach, urging your orgasm on. His tongue lapped at you, into your soaked folds and at your swollen bud, which he sucked so carefully to make you feel pleasure and only that.
He kept a steady rhythm, using your moans and gasps as a guide for his pace. Your fingers played with his hair while you rolled your hips against his face, rubbing your cunt on him, using his mouth for your pleasure. He was so good at that, at making you feel good.
He slipped his tongue inside of you once or twice to test the waters, and you whimpered at that. He couldn't wait to bury himself in you. He pulled away from your weeping cunt, only to slip his boxers off, revealing his flushed length.
You pushed up to your elbows to have a better view of him, and he looked divine from head to toe. The messy hair that you had been toying with, his flushed face, neck, and chest looked so good under the warm lighting of the room, his hard and leaking girth that looked like it was made to fit you, the pathetic needy expression on his face, and yours probably looked the same too.
He let you take your time, let you stare at him. Your eyes were hungry, and so here his. You looked all perfect down there, looking at him, with your cheeks flushed, lips parted, messy hair spilling on the pillow, your beautiful body and legs spread for him. God, he wanted you more than he ever wanted anything.
Jason licked his lips, and once he'd had enough of your staring contest, he pulled you closer again by the legs. He leaned down to capture your lips in a heated, needy kiss, each one of his hands being placed beside your head to support his body while it covered yours.
Your hips were aligned, and he purposefully let his throbbing cock brush your soaked heat, giving you a little taste. It all felt so good, so right. Your arms went around his neck while they could, tugging him close, pressing your chests together, squeezing your breasts against him.
"Pull out, right?" He mumbled into your mouth, his eyes looking hazy. You nodded lazily. "M'kay."
He reached down in betwen you, not wanting to separate his body from yours, he wanted to feel the heat of your chests together. Carefully, he slid the head of his dick in between your folds, dipping it in your juices and rubbing it on your clit to make you even more needy for it, and then slowly, he slid the tip into you, a satisfied groan leaving his mouth. It was surreal, it already felt so good and he wasn't even all the way in.
You sighed in satisfaction, your eyes closing and your head tipping back against the pillow. You scratched his back gently, the slow scrape of your nails on his skin matching the languid rhythm he used to slide into you, stretching out your channel with ease. You were so fucking wet. He was met with no resistance, you wanted him there.
Despite being your first time together, it didn't feel awkward. It didn't feel confusing or complicated. It was him and you, just like always. Comfortable.
He let you adjust to his size, his lips peppering your jaw with tender kisses as you got used to the stretch and waited for the mild burning sensation to cease. Felt so easy with him.
Jason felt you move against him, trying to fuck yourself on his cock, and he smiled on your soft skin. He pushed up again to look down at you, his arms still on either side of your head. With your legs around his hips, he started moving, meticulously thrusting into you, searching for the most sensitive spots, feeling every inch of your gummy, warm walls hugging his length.
It felt like heaven, finally being inside you. Everything with you was so good.
He picked up the pace as you started breathing heavier, your eyes closing as you let yourself enjoy every single thing about this moment, about him in you. Pistoning in and out of you in a needy rhythm, he grunted and groaned so deliciously, blessing your ears with his sounds.
You felt yourself nearing the edge even more with each thrust. It all felt so intense. He mirrored your feelings, his eyes squeezing shut as he held back his own release, trying to hold up so you could come together.
Neither of you could speak at that moment, not even to mumble words of praise, the pleasure consuming your minds with equal intensity, taking up every space in your brains. You couldn't delay it anymore.
Your walls clenched around him, and you gasped, whimpered, and moaned at the sensation. You couldn't control the sounds coming out of you. Your eyes closed once again as your lips stayed parted, heavy breaths coming out of them.
As you squeezed his cock in pleasure, Jason had to muster all of his self-control to be able to pull out of you before he spilled all of his seed inside of you and fucked everything up. He couldn't break your trust like that. He pulled out, and in less than a second, his white, hot, and thick cum spilled all over your stomach and pelvis. He'd never cum like that before, so desperately. The sounds he made while he let his liquid pour over your skin without even having to milk it out with his hand were ungodly, so fucking lewd.
"Fuck," Jason gasped, his head slumping forward as he panted on top of you. "S'good." He mumbled.
You cracked a small smile at that, fingers going back to scratching his back when you could finally concentrate on something other than your orgasm taking over your body.
"So good." You echoed, eyes closing as he rested his head in the crook of your neck, breathing in the mixture of your scent with the smell of sex in the air.
"I'm not moving from here." He warned in another lazy mumble, his arms snaking around your waist. You chuckled at him.
"Okay." You muttered softly, one of your hands going to play with his hair. "We'll stay here."
"We'll stay here." He echoed your words as well, letting out a tired yet satisfied sigh.
Your eyes drifted up for the window for a second, and you noticed it was snowing again outside. It was all so magical, even if you were feeling sweaty and sticky.
You sighed, the sight of the snow falling relaxing you as well as Jason's body on top of yours, warming you up.
Wait, was the window open all this time?

{overview} you make some friends- and some not friends
{warnings} a/b/o dynamics, Simon being a grump, cursing, short chapter, mostly some “world-building”, Fem reader, Simon heavy chapter
Chapter 8 <- Chapter 9 -> Chapter 10
Simon woke you up the next morning, with a rough series of pats on your back. You groaned curling around yourself, the smell of leather slowly filling up your senses.
“This day isn't going to fuck itself,” Simon grumbled. Your eyes opened groggily, sending him a glare.
“What does that even mean?” you croaked, forcing yourself to sit up. Simon bit back a smile at the sight of your bedhead. He was able to snap a picture as you stared off into space. He sent it to Johnny, who quickly made it his lock screen.
“Up, pup,” he commanded, getting up himself. He moved with much more ease, only wincing as he took a few steps forward. “Got a busy day,” he added. By the time his words settled in your ears, he had already made his way into his bedroom.
“Busy day?” you questioned to yourself as you brushed your teeth. “Where are we going?” you asked. Simon was able to shower, shave, and get dressed by the time you finished brushing your teeth and picking out an outfit.
“Something the omega committee planned. Breakfast in the park or some shite like that. Captain wants you to go.” he explained.
“I don't want to.” you began to whine.
“Ah, ah, ah don't start pulling that shite with me, it's not gonna work. Put your stompers on, and let's go.” he growled. You straightened up, a little worried at his tone. Why did he sound so angry? Regardless, you quickly did as you were told, grabbing your shoes out of the closet and following wordlessly behind him.
You wanted to ask him more about this ‘breakfast in the park’ thing but you refrained. Nervousness began to eat at you, as it would for most people when you were being thrown into a group of people you have never met. The omegas there have probably already formed cliques. Not that you weren't used to being the new person. You didn't quite feel as though you could tell the alpha next to you about it.
At least it was a pretty sunny day out.
The walk wasn't very far, and it wasn't exactly a park. It was near where Simon took you for a walk. There was a bit of a crowd already, sitting down on their own blankets. Simon pulled out a blanket that was tucked under his arm. “Look at me,” he instructed. “No reason for you to be nervous, yeah? They're lucky to have you, I think, I mean I don't really know you that well.” he huffed, causing you to giggle. “See the group behind me?” he asked. You peeked around him.
“Pink blanket?” you hummed. He hummed back.
“You steer clear of ‘em. They get into trouble.” he told, and you nodded your head in understanding. “I'll be right over there havin’ a cig, you go be a good girl and save me a scone, yeah?” he patted you with the blanket. You took it from him, watching as he headed past you, without a glance over his shoulder. You rolled your eyes but felt much better about the situation. You guess Simon was much more tough love than you were used to. You stood for a moment surveying the area. People were cliqued up all right. You decided just to head in the opposite direction of the pink blanket gang.
You grabbed a plate off of one of the tables and decided on a cinnamon roll and a scone for Simon. You also grabbed a hot chocolate. You pulled off to the side eyeing the array of people. A particular group caught your eye. Two women and a man. They seemed approachable like they wouldn't shoot you down if you went up to them. Only one way to find out. You followed the natural path set up by blankets.
They stopped talking as you stood before them. “Hi.” You smiled, trying not to sound too shy. You introduced yourself in one breath waiting for them to make the next move.
“Hi, I'm Anais.” the one in the middle introduced herself first. She was sweet-looking, her glasses taking up most of her face and magnifying her eyes in an endearing way.
“I’m Jane.” the one to your right looked. She looked just as uncomfortable as you, her obsidian eyes darting around.
“Jonah.” the last one greeted. “You're welcome to join us.” he offered, which you quickly took them up on.
“The worst part is over.” Anais smiled, adjusting herself so she was sitting on her knees. “When did you get here?”
“Four days ago,” you replied.
“I got here six days ago,” Jane spoke up. Her voice was soft and brittle. You were tempted to give her a hug.
“Ah, so you know what it's like.” you smiled. “How long have you two been here?” you asked, spooning a piece of cinnamon roll into your mouth.
“Seven months,” Jonah answered.
“A little under three months for me,” Anais said.
“Nice. Do you like it here?” you questioned. You were hoping to get the dirt on people.
“Not really. You're lucky you're with big guy over there.” Anais said through bites of her toast. “Do you really have your own flat?” she questioned. Looks like you were going to be the one giving out dirt.
“Yeah it's pretty close to that. Where do you live?”
“In the barracks,” Anais said. “It's a room filled with bunk beds.”
“That sounds terrible.” you winced. “Do you get any privacy?”
“Not really. Unless it's during my heat.” she shrugged. “That's usually what happens when you're just bonded to an alpha, not a whole pack,” she explained. “I hope to get my pack one day. You're lucky you didn't have to work for yours.” she sighed. Your brows twitched.
“Anais,” Jonah whispered harshly. She just shrugged. How did she know anything about you and your pack? There was obviously something you weren't aware of.
“It's alright.” you soothed, giving Jonah a smile. “She’s technically right.” you sighed.
“I didn't mean it in a bad way.” Anais continued. “Just that you're lucky,” she added. You have been hearing that a lot lately.
“I know.” you agreed. You figured it was better to play along. Plus you seem to be lucky. “Did you get assigned here or?” you asked, turning over to Jane.
“Assigned.”
“Me too.” you replied.
“I know,” she whispered, causing you to furrow your brows again.
“Does everybody know?” you finally asked.
“You have been a hot topic,” Jonah admitted. You looked over your shoulder and suddenly became aware of the glances and peeks your way. Has everyone been staring at you this whole time? “Don't stress about it,” Jonah added.
“Yeah, you're literally a celebrity,” Anais added.
“I don't know if I want to be a celebrity.” you said finally.
“I’ll trade with you. I'm not really into guys, but I’d do it for fame.” Jonah chuckled, causing you all to laugh.
“I'll let you know after I finish my first week.” you snickered. An hour went by fairly fast. The group next to you joined into the conversation and soon you were a nice group of seven. Priya- she was the one you bonded to quickly. You started talking because she also was with a task force, her choice, on the sixth floor of your building.
She smelled like apples and lavender. Your mom smelled like lavender.
“How’d you do?” Simon asked. He stood up from the bench, eyeing you up and down. You certainly smelled happy. Your scent turned warm when you were happy. Your normal scent was freshly cut peaches paired with a chilled vanilla ice cream. Yet when you were happy it became a peach crumble straight out of the oven. He chewed the inside of his cheek, moving so he was upwind.
Before you had time to respond something caught his attention. “Come on, pup.” he urged. His hand rested on the back of your neck guiding you away from the scene. You had the sense of mind to not question him, which he was grateful for.
“Lieutenant Ghost.” A voice called from behind the two of you. He growled, stopping, but keeping a firm grip on you as he began to turn.
“Lieutenant Hale.” Simon mustered.
“So this must be the little lady I've been hearin’ so much about.” He was Southern, a charming drawl in his voice.
“She would be the one.” Simon affirmed. His hand reached down, grabbing your hip pulling you towards his side.
“Haven’t smelt something so sweet in a long time. You remind me of home.” Lieutenant Hale smiled at you. You remained straight-face, your omega beginning to feed off of the signals Simon was sending out. “How have you been, L.T.? Heard you took a nasty tumble.” Hale clicked his tongue.
“Fine.” Simon replied bluntly.
“Well, I would hope so. Medicine like that could heal any man.” Hale smirked, his eyes still locked on you.
“Got that right,” Simon said back. The men were keeping pleasantries- probably for your sake. Simon gave your hip a squeeze. “See you around, Hale.” The hand on the back of your neck returned, turning you away from the scene.
“I look forward to it. Both of you,” he added, tipping his head towards you. You remained silent. When you got far enough away you looked back over your shoulder. Two of the girls from the pink blanket rushed over to him, nuzzling their way under his arms.
His eyes were still on you.
“You did good, pup.” Simon complimented once you got away from the crowd.
“Thank you.”
It was two hours past your normal bedtime. The first two nights here you were so exhausted you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow. The third night you fell asleep on the couch with everyone.
It felt like the first night here.
You can still remember the last night you slept alone. It was the night before your mom left. The night she left you remember her sneaking her way into your bedroom, holding you as tight as she could. You could still feel her breath on your cheek as she breathed you in. You didn't question it at the time.
You wish you had.
That day your grandparents came down to help out and you slept in the guestroom with them- terrified of being left again. Then you got step-siblings, then roommates at the omega holding house.
You scrunched your eyes tightly.
Your room was too dark. Too quiet. Too cold. It had yet to be drenched in your scent, the room still smelling like paint and carpet cleaner. You wondered if Johnny or Kyle would mind you crashing their room. You're sure they wouldn't, but you didn't want to set yourself up for rejection. You could always crash on the couch with Simon. You didn't want him to think you were too needy.
You suddenly heard movement outside your door. You stilled, pulling the covers further up your body. Your door opened very hesitantly. John carefully poked his head in. You closed your eyes as much as you could to make it look realistic. He trained his eyes on your form for a moment before he quietly shut the door. The realization suddenly dawned on you.
He was checking on you.
You weren't exactly sure why he was checking on you. To see if you were still awake? To see if you were comfortable? Or maybe to make sure you hadn’t escaped.
Either way, it meant one thing:
You weren't alone.
Hi friends! Hope you enjoyed this chapter! Chapter 10 will be in two days! See you then!

is it casual now? ࿐ ࿔*:・゚
modern sev x reader au: after a shitty day at work, you go to the beach to release some stress, only for a certain coworker to show up.
series masterpost: floating wc: 4.2k author's note: everything that happened in this fic did actually happen with a girl I was seeing LMAOO (except for the kiss cause i was too shy) but i’ve been wanting to write an ode to this memory for so long! though the title was named after casual by chappell roan, i actually don't recommend you listen to it when you read this because this is anything but casual ~ My Song Recommendation
Sev: Why are you at the beach at 11PM? You: ? You: Why can't I be? Sev: Because it closes at 12am Sev: And you said before you don't go out past 11PM on workdays You: I didn't know you worked for the beach patrol Sev: Lol
You stare at your phone screen, watching the three message dots bounce back and forth. You know you're being an asshole, but you can't help the snappiness in your tone. Sevika never cared or talked to you outside of work before, so why does she suddenly care now?
The typing bubbles disappear and relief washes over you, but a small, masochistic part of you wishes she'd actually sent something.
Sev: Are you good?
The three-word question glares at you from the screen.
Are you good? Absolutely not.
But this is Sev, the woman who doesn't bother with greetings or a courtesy "How are you" despite working together for months. How do you answer a question that could unravel the emotions you're barely keeping at bay, especially to someone who's never asked before?
You: Yeah You: I'll go soon so you don't have to stalk my location haha Sev: Alright
You stare at the tiny message bubble until the blue light stings your eyes. Finally, you shut off your phone and toss it onto your makeshift blanket.
The beach is eerily quiet save for the rhythmic crashing of waves against the shore. The moon hangs low in the sky, casting a silvery glow across the water and illuminating the foam as it rushes up the sand. You sit there as the incident at work replays in your mind for the hundredth time. Your head server's harsh words, the embarrassment of being scolded in public, the shame from how quick you were brought to tears - it all comes rushing back, making your chest tighten.
The cool sand beneath your fingers grounds you somewhat and you inhale deeply, letting the briny scent of the ocean fill your lungs.
A cool breeze picks up, causing goosebumps to rise on your arms. You shiver as you sit there, feeling small and vulnerable, and you can't help but wonder how you'll face everyone tomorrow. The thought makes your stomach churn, and you close your eyes, trying to shut out the world for just a little longer.
As you close your eyes, a new sound cuts through the sounds of waves crashing against the shore. The crunch of rubber tires over pebbles grows louder, and suddenly, a bright light washes over you. You squint, momentarily blinded by the harsh glare of headlights.
"You really had to make me search for you, Pagli?"
Your head whips around in shock, eyes wide as you see Sevika stepping out of her car. You scramble to your feet, brushing sand from your clothes.
"Sev? What are you— You didn't have to come here," you protest.
She approaches with a casual shrug. "Well, too bad, cause I was near here anyways. Had to make sure you weren't drowning or joining a beach cult."
You can't help but let out a small, incredulous laugh. "A beach cult? Really?"
"Hey, you never know," Sevika retorts with a smirk. "I don’t know what you like to do late at night."
You shake your head, trying to maintain your composure. "I appreciate the concern, but I'm fine. You should go home."
"Nah, I think I'll stick around," she says, plopping down on the sand next to where you were sitting. "Unless you've got some secret midnight rituals planned?"
You roll your eyes, but feel your resolve weakening. "You're stubborn as hell, you know that?"
"Part of my charm," Sevika replies with a wink. "Now, are you gonna sit back down, or do I have to drag you?"
After a moment's hesitation, you sigh and lower yourself back onto the sand. "Fine, you win. But don't expect me to be good company."
"Wouldn't dream of it," Sevika says softly, her tone gentler than before. "But I'm here if you want to talk. Or not talk. Whatever you need."
“I’m good.” You replied.
“Fine with me.”
As you sit in silence, Sevika reaches into her pocket and pulls out a joint. You can't help but shake your head in disbelief.
"You're unbelievable," you mutter.
She glances at you, eyebrow raised. "What?"
"Do you just have an unlimited source of that or something?"
Sevika just shrugs, a small smirk playing on her lips as she places the joint between them. As she fumbles for her lighter, she catches you staring and pauses.
"Do you want some?" she offers casually.
You hesitate, fingers fidgeting in the sand. "No... uh, I never tried."
Her eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "Serious?"
"Yeah," you admit, feeling a bit self-conscious.
Sevika's expression softens slightly. "Well, Pagli, I'm in a sharing mood, so..."
You shake your head quickly. "Nah, I'm gonna embarrass myself. I don't know how to..."
"It's easy," she assures you. "Just inhale, hold it for a bit, and release."
You eye the joint warily. "Uh, shit... Yeah sure."
Instead of handing it over, Sevika brings the joint to her lips and lights it. You watch intently as she demonstrates, her cheeks hollowing slightly as she inhales. She holds it for a moment, then slowly exhales a stream of smoke into the night air.
Your eyes are fixed on her, taking in every detail of the process. There's something almost mesmerizing about the way the smoke curls from her lips, dissipating into the darkness.
Sevika turns to you, holding out the joint. "Your turn, if you want."
You hesitate, your heart racing a little. Part of you wants to refuse, to play it safe knowing that you wouldn’t risk humiliation in front of your coworker when you end up messing up, but another part of you was just completely over this day.
Slowly, you reach out and take the joint from her fingers, your skin brushing against hers for a brief moment.
You take the joint, bringing it to your lips with nervous anticipation. Trying to mimic Sevika's actions, you inhale deeply. Immediately, your eyes go wide as the smoke hits your lungs. You start coughing violently, your throat burning.
To your surprise, Sevika gently pats your back. "It's okay, Pagli! Damn. You just gotta practice some more."
As your coughing subsides, you realize this is the most Sevika has ever talked to you. It's oddly comforting, despite your embarrassment. You hand the joint back to her and she casually takes a puff, with her head leaning back slightly as she exhales.
"You're not cold?"
"No, why?" you ask, puzzled.
She gestures at your outfit. "Because you haven't changed out of your work uniform."
Instead of answering - because you know where that conversation would lead - you reach for the joint again. This time, you focus intently on mimicking Sevika's technique. You inhale, hold it for a moment, and exhale. There's still a slight cough, but it's significantly better than your first attempt.
"Hell yeah!" you exclaim, feeling a small surge of pride. "I sorta did it!"
Sevika gives you a half-grin that makes your heart skip a beat. "See? You're gonna be a pro soon." She pauses, her grin widening slightly. "But you're gonna get super hungry later at this rate."
Your eyes widen as realization hits you. "Oh fuck, you're right. I didn't bring any food," you say, a slight pout forming on your lips.
"I brought something," she offers, "but in exchange, you have to tell me what's going on."
You roll your eyes, you weren’t going to fall for that. "I can deal with it."
"Fine," she shrugs, "then no more." She makes a motion as if to put out the joint.
"What? I'm still practicing!" you protest. "What happened to trying to get me to the pro league?"
Sevika just laughs, the sound unexpectedly warm. "Sorry, there's an entry fee."
You sigh, knowing you're cornered. "Fine," you mutter, then barely above a whisper, add, "I fucked up bad at work today."
Her expression turns serious. "What do you mean?"
Taking a deep breath, you tucked a stray hair behind your ear and avoided eye contact. "There was this creepy guy at one of my tables. He kept specifically asking for random things like more napkins or refills, and I knew why he did that." You shudder slightly at the memory. "I wanted to switch with a male server, but we were too booked so I just tried to bear with it. I didn’t think he would cross any lines since it looked like he was with family too."
Sevika listens intently as you continue, "It got too far when he kept making me uncomfortable, saying he would tip well if I gave him my number." Your hands clenched into fists in the sand. "So after I came back, I... I 'accidentally' spilled water on him."
You can't meet Sevika's eyes as you finish, "I knew it was unprofessional and petty, but I was so frustrated. After getting yelled at by the head server, it kind of hit me what I did."
As you fall silent, you feel a mix of shame and lingering anger. You wait anxiously for Sevika's response, afraid to see judgment in her eyes.
But Sevika's response catches you off guard. "He deserved it," she says firmly.
Your eyes widen in surprise. "Huh? But I made a mess because I couldn't keep my emotions in check. You know there are always going to be horrible customers..."
She cuts you off with a shake of her head. "Nah, he deserved it. It's a shame you couldn't stay to watch when I kicked him out and announced that he was trying to grope one of our servers in front of his entire family and the restaurant."
You stare at her incredulously for a moment before bursting out laughing. "No way? You actually did that?"
Sevika shrugs nonchalantly. "What's Silco gonna do? I'm the best general manager he's got." She pauses, a prideful glint in her eye. "Though our head server might need a bit of retraining."
You can't believe what you're hearing. Sev, the Sev, actually stood up for you. A wave of gratitude washes over you, and you suddenly feel shy.
"Thank you... for that," you murmur. "It meant a lot."
She just nods in response, a comfortable silence falling between you. Sevika passes you the joint again, and this time when you take a hit, you manage to do it without coughing.
"I did it!" you exclaim, unable to contain your enthusiasm.
"Look at you, you might get into the Olympics next." She teased.
The tension from earlier completely dissipated, and you can't help but feel a newfound appreciation for Sevika.
"Okay, you gotta slow down now. This is your first time," Sevika warns, pulling the joint away as you reach for it again.
"Nooo, give it," you whine, making a half-hearted grab for it.
She shakes her head firmly. "Nuh-uh." Sevika puts out the joint despite your protests. Then, without warning, she announces, "I'm lying down."
"What?" you ask, confused by the sudden change.
Sevika doesn't respond, just leans back onto an apron acting as your beach blanket. After a moment's hesitation, you did the same. It's only now that you realize how close she is. You can see the rise and fall of her chest, steady and rhythmic.
You close your eyes, letting the sensations wash over you. "Do you hear that?" you murmur. "The waves sound amazing." A small giggle escapes your lips.
"It's hitting you now," Sevika observes, amusement coloring her voice.
"Shhh, Sev. Listen," you insist, your voice barely above a whisper. If only you didn’t close your eyes at that moment, because then you would’ve seen the shy smile appear on her lips at the nickname that she only lets you use on her.
As you concentrate on the sound of the waves, you became aware that you're also following the pattern of Sevika's breathing. It's oddly comforting, this synchronicity between her, you, and the ocean.
Curiosity gets the better of you, and you dare to look over at her. Your breath catches in your throat as you realize she's staring at you with those stormy gray eyes that never seem to reveal anything. The intensity of her gaze sends a jolt through you, triggering an immediate panic.
You sit up abruptly, your heart racing. Sevika follows, concern etched on her previously relaxed face. "What's wrong?"
"Uh, I'm hungry," you blurt out, desperate for a distraction.
Sevika just laughs, the sound rich and warm. "Here, I’m glad I brought this," she says, reaching into her pocket. She pulls out a colorful bag of sour gummy worms, the plastic crinkling loudly in the quiet night.
The sight of the candy, so unexpectedly bright in contrast to Sevika's stoic character, makes you laugh. You watch as she pulls out a gummy worm, the candy stretching slightly before she bites into it. The casual act feels strangely intimate in this moment, and you find yourself transfixed by the movement of her jaw as she chews.
"Want one?" she asks, holding out the bag to you.
Your fingers brush against hers as you reach for a candy, sending another small shiver through you. As you pop the gummy worm into your mouth, the burst of sour flavor feels like a shock against your tongue.
While you devoured practically half the bag, Sevika stretches languidly before lying back down on the sand. You followed suit, turning to face her. This time, feeling way less sober than the beginning, you don't shy away from her gaze.
You notice one of her usually tucked fringes has come loose, falling softly across her forehead. Your fingers twitch with the urge to brush it back, but you manage to restrain yourself.
Sevika's eyes are fixed on you, her expression softer than you've ever seen it. "I'm tired," she mumbles, her voice low and slightly husky. "I want to sleep... this feels nice."
A dopey smile spreads across your face at the sight of her uncharacteristic vulnerability. "Do it," you encourage gently.
"Wake me up in a bit?" she asks, her eyelids already starting to droop.
"Of course," you assure her.
As Sevika's eyes close, you sit there, taking in the moment. You listened to the rhythm of her breathing mix with the sound of the waves and the refreshing sea breeze.
Suddenly, Sevika makes a noise that's almost like a whine. "It's cold," she murmurs, not opening her eyes.
"Really?" you ask, surprised.
"Yeah," she confirms. Then, to your shock, she says, "Come here."
Before you can process what's happening, Sevika is draping her red jacket over both of you. The action brings you even closer to her, and your brain struggles to keep up with this new development.
You find yourself studying Sevika's features up close. Her nose, which you've always thought was cute but never dared to admit, her long lashes resting against her cheeks, and the scar that runs across her cheekbone.
The warmth of her body so close to yours, the scent of her cologne mingling with the salt air, the soft sound of her breathing - it all combined to create a moment so intimate and unexpected that you feel almost dizzy with it. You're acutely aware of every point where your body is almost, but not quite, touching hers.
Your heart is pounding so loudly you're sure she must be able to hear it. But Sevika's breathing has evened out, suggesting she's drifting off to sleep. You lie there, barely daring to move, caught between the desire to savor this moment and the fear of disturbing her.
You find yourself caught in Sevika's gaze as her eyes slowly flutter open. The moonlight reflects in her dark irises, creating an almost ethereal effect.
"What are you staring at?"
Your heart skips a beat. "You," you reply without thinking, then immediately feel heat rush to your cheeks.
A smirk plays at the corner of Sevika's lips. "Mmm... you're plotting my murder, right?"
You can't help but chuckle softly. "Haha, of course. I’ve been waiting months for this moment.”
"Damn," she sighs dramatically, through her eyes sparkled with amusement. "At least I get a gorgeous view before my final moments."
The air between you suddenly feels charged. You fall silent, profoundly aware of every breath, every subtle movement. Sevika's hair has fallen across her face, obscuring part of her scar. Without really thinking about it, you reach out, gently tucking the errant strand behind her ear.
As you start to pull your hand back, Sevika's fingers wrap around your wrist. Her touch is gentle, a stark contrast to her usual brusque demeanor. You freeze, your breath catching in your throat.
"Don't," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the soft lapping of waves.
Sevika holds your hand gently, her calloused fingers tracing over yours with surprising tenderness. She examines each fingertip as if committing them to memory. Just as you're getting lost in the intimacy of the moment, she breaks the silence.
"You got tiny ass hands, Pagli.”
You blink, taken aback. "Excuse me?"
Sevika bursts out laughing, the sound rich and wonderful. Her head tilts back, revealing a full set of stunning teeth. The sight momentarily captivates you, but you quickly recover, determined not to let her win this moment.
"You know, I was only trying to steal the gummies," you retort, trying to keep a straight face.
Her eyebrow arches challengingly. "Really? Come and get it then."
Before you know it, you're both wrestling on the makeshift blanket. Sand flies everywhere as you tussle, laughter filling the air. It's been so long since you've felt this carefree, this alive. Your worries from earlier seem like a distant memory now.
Somehow, you manage to gain the upper hand. You find yourself practically pinning Sevika down, your faces mere inches apart. You can feel her warm breath on your skin, catching the faint scent of weed. Your heart races, and for a moment, you're tempted to close that small distance between you.
Instead, you break the tension by snatching the bag of gummies from her grasp. "I win!" you declare triumphantly.
But even as you say it, the victory feels hollow. The gummy bag hangs limp in your hand as you watch Sevika accept defeat with surprising grace. She's still beneath you, her chest rising and falling with each breath, her eyes locked on yours.
You wish you could reach out and caress her face, trace the line of her scar, feel the softness of her skin again. The urge is almost overwhelming, but you hold back, unsure of how she'd react. The moment stretches between you, filled with unspoken words and possibilities.
Sevika pats the spot next to her, inviting you back. You settle in, acutely aware of her warmth beside you. Her eyes, dark and curious, search your face.
"What are you thinking about now, Pagli?" she asks softly.
Before you can stop yourself, the words tumble out. "I want to play with your hair."
Immediately, heat rushes to your face. You're about to stammer an apology when Sevika takes your hand, guiding it to her hair. The silky softness surprises you, and you can't help but run your fingers through the strands.
Sevika's eyes flutter closed, a contented sigh escaping her lips. Encouraged, you begin to gently massage her scalp, marveling at how relaxed she seems.
"What does Pagli mean?" you whisper.
A smirk plays on Sevika's lips. "Crazy girl," she replies without skipping a beat.
"Huh?!" You're not sure whether to be offended or flattered.
"It's because you do crazy and bold things. I like that about you."
Your stomach flutters with warmth at the admission. Sevika leans into your touch, murmuring, "That feels amazing."
Gradually, she shifts closer, until her head is tucked against your chest. You can feel the steady pace of her breathing, the warmth of her body against yours. Without really meaning to, you find yourselves practically spooning.
As you stretch out, your feet brush against her shins, and you realize just how much taller she is. It's oddly endearing, this contrast between you. Your fingers continue their gentle exploration of her hair, occasionally trailing down to trace the curve of her neck.
The moment feels soft, intimate in a way you never expected. The sound of waves provides a soothing backdrop, and the moonlight casts a gentle glow over you both. You're struck by how vulnerable Sevika looks like this, all her usual sharp edges softened.
You want to say something, to put into words the feeling blooming in your chest, but you're afraid to break the spell. So instead, you hold her close, savoring the unexpected comfort of this moment, wondering how something so beautiful could arise from such a difficult day.
You keep replaying the moment when Sevika's strong arms practically dragged you into cuddling her. The memory sends a pleasant shiver down your spine. Your hand moves almost of its own accord, slowly rubbing circles on her back. You hear her sigh contentedly, the sound filling you with a warmth that has nothing to do with the physical closeness.
Just as you're sinking deeper into this blissful moment, bright white lights suddenly flash on, startling you both. A loud voice booms across the beach: "THE BEACH IS CLOSING IN 10 MINUTES. PLEASE MAKE YOUR WAY BACK TO THE PARKING LOT."
"Urghhh," you groan. You instinctively buried your face into your hands.
Sevika's response is even more vocal - she lets out a louder, more dramatic groan that vibrates through her chest and into yours. The sound is so unexpected and so uncharacteristically cute, that you can't help but laugh.
Your laughter seems to break the spell. Sevika lifts her head, her hair mussed from your earlier attentions, and gives you a mock glare that's softened by the smile tugging at her lips.
"What's so funny, Pagli?" she asks, her voice husky with lingering sleep.
"Nothing," you say, still chuckling. "Just... I never pegged you for a whiner."
Sevika rolls her eyes. "Yeah, well, don't get used to it," she grumbles.
You lean in close to Sevika, whispering conspiratorially, "They can't kick us off if we hide in the sand, right?"
"Yeah, or if we stay really still," she adds, barely suppressing a grin.
You both freeze comically, trying to blend in with the beach around you. But as the final announcement blares across the sand, you finally admit defeat.
As you both reluctantly start to gather your things, you can't help but steal glances at Sevika. Her hair is tousled, her clothes rumpled from lying on the beach, and there's a softness to her expression that you've never seen before. It makes your heart do a little flip in your chest.
Just as you're about to lead the way back, Sevika suddenly grabs your hand, pulling you back towards her. Before you can react, her lips are on yours.
You were suddenly frozen, till your brain practically yelled, Fucking kiss the hot girl back you dumbass! Your hand immediately slides into her hair, and you respond back to the kiss with the same ferocity. All the tension that's been building between you tonight finally finds its release. Her lips are softer than you imagined, moving against yours with a passion that takes your breath away.
But the moment was short-lived when it was cut short by another blaring announcement.
Sevika breaks away, growling, "I'm going to break that speaker."
You can't help but laugh at her annoyance, the sound bubbling up from the happiness overflowing in your chest. You lean in, giving her a quick peck on the lips. "C'mon, we can continue this later."
Sevika nods, a small but genuine smile playing on her lips. She has that look on her face, that is just so content and full of adoration that your legs practically felt like jelly.
“Race you back to the car, loser has to buy dinner!” You yell as you spirit across the sand.
You were fortunate enough to get a head start because once Sev realized what was happening, you could already see a blur of her movement closing the distance through the corner of your eye. Your hair whipped wildly in the wind along your combined unadulterated, giddy laughters echoing in the night air.
With her athletic build, she easily caught up to you but instead of surpassing you, her hand found yours. Her fingers intertwined with yours, fitting perfectly. The warmth of her palm against yours feels like the most natural thing in the world.
You two slowed your pace into an amble, the sound of waves fading behind you. Every so often, you steal glances at Sevika, still hardly believing this night has been real.
When her car comes into view, Sevika gives your hand a gentle squeeze. You turn to look at her, finding her eyes already on you, soft and full of something that makes you unsure of whether this moment was a dream or not.
Sevika tugs you closer, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. "We should do this again sometime," she murmurs against your skin. "Minus the getting kicked off the beach part."
You chuckle at the joke and tuck your head into her chest, listening to her heartbeat. Thump. Thump.
"Thank you," she says quietly, her voice a small murmur above your ear, "for making a shitty day end beautifully."
You smile, feeling a warmth spread through your chest.
"Thank you for finding me."

“Dude, your story looks ass.”
Paige’s thumb immediately swiped back to the Instagram app. Clicking on her profile picture, she studied the photo with a frown. “It looks exactly like yours,” she said, baffled.
Azzi shoved her own phone in Paige’s face. “Definitely not,” she mused as she compared the two screens side by side. “You’re just not good at taking pictures.”
Paige scowled. “I don’t even know what you’re talking about bro, they look exactly the same.”
“It’s okay.” Azzi leaned in and pinched Paige’s cheek, a mocking smile on her lips. “Not everyone can be good at everything like me.”
“Man, shut up.” Paige laughed, flicking Azzi’s hands away from her face. Her attention fell back to Azzi’s knee where it was propped up against the seat in front of them. “How’s it feeling?”
Azzi looked down and grimaced. “It’s still flaring up.” Her thumbs creased over her knee, trying to massage away the throbbing ache, but to no avail. Paige’s heartstrings tugged a little as she watched Azzi stare at her knee. It had been hell when she’d tore her own ACL, both physically and mentally, and she hated the idea of her girlfriend having to go through it a second time.
“You shouldn’t have pushed yourself so hard in practice yesterday,” Paige reproached, gently pushing Azzi’s hands aside to replace them with her own. She gently kneaded the tissue with her fingers, eyes fixed on Azzi’s face for any signs of pain.
Azzi tipped her head back and slowly exhaled. She was tired from all of this shit, tired from having to watch from the sidelines as all the other girls participated in the intense drills. She missed that feeling of sweat running down her back, muscles aching and lungs pumping as she ran up and down the court. What was worse was the pitying looks all her teammates sent her way, all the pats on her back that were supposed to make her feel better but only made her feel like shit. It wasn’t their fault, and Azzi loved her teammates for trying, but she was so goddamn sick of it. “I already have Geno and CD and all the trainers breathing down my back, I don’t need you to coddle me too,” Azzi responded, her tone coming out harsher than she meant for it to.
Paige’s movements halted. “I’m just trying to look out for you,” she said. “The last thing I want is for you to tear your ACL again.”
Azzi rubbed her temple. “Yeah, I know, I know.”
Paige fell silent, continuing to work Azzi’s knee with her fingers, but she didn’t look at her, instead focusing instead on Coco as she flew across the court.
“I’m sorry,” Azzi said finally. “I didn’t mean to snap. I’m just tired of being treated like I’m fragile. It’s like everyone thinks I’m weak.”
Paige dipped her head against Azzi’s ear, lips gently brushing her earlobe. “No one thinks you’re weak.” She twisted her bracelet against her wrist, making sure Azzi could see the letters spelled out across the beads. “Resilient, remember? You’re the toughest person in the whole fucking world.”
Azzi dropped her head against Paige’s shoulder. “Thank you, Paige.”
Paige hummed, continuing to rub her thumb in soothing circles around Azzi’s knee. “You tired?”
Azzi stifled a yawn. “So tired.”
“If your knee’s still bothering you, we can go home,” Paige offered.
“No, I wanna meet Coco and I know you do too. It’s fine.”
Paige gently tapped Azzi’s leg. “Are you sure? There’s still a few hours.”
Azzi waved her off. “I’ll pop some painkillers. But I hope you know you’re paying for my ice cream after this.”
Paige shook her head. “You only reminded me about a few thousand times on the way here.”
Soon after, Azzi moved a seat over so that she could fully stretch out her leg. She looked around the stadium, taking in the buzzing atmosphere and lively crowds before turning her gaze back to Paige, who was frowning so hard that there were wrinkles between her brows. “Are you seriously pouting right now?” Azzi laughed.
“You didn’t have to move,” Paige insisted. “There’s already plenty of space.”
“Tell that to my fucked up knee.”
Paige got up to take the seat next to Azzi, but Azzi reached over and pushed her back down. “You seriously have attachment issues,” Azzi teased, but loving every second of it.
“I can’t even kiss you and shit and now you’re saying I can’t sit next to my own girlfriend?” Paige grumbled, shaking her head in annoyance.
Azzi grinned, knowing exactly what would tick Paige off even more. She loved seeing the blonde all riled up, especially for her. “It’s getting kinda hot,” she said casually, slowly taking off her sweater and balling it up.
Paige’s eyes immediately fell down, gaze tracing the slope of Azzi’s neck to the jut of her collarbone, and finally down to the dip in her tank top across her chest, where it stayed until Azzi threw her sweater at the blonde. “You’re such a whore,” Azzi smirked.
Paige blinked rapidly, trying to get ahold of herself. “And you’re such a fucking tease,” she complained, stuffing the sweater under her arms.
Azzi leaned over the seat between them. She wrapped one of Paige’s slut strands around her finger, biting her bottom lip as she looked up at the older girl through her lashes. “What were you saying?”
Paige’s mouth opened and closed in a stutter, suddenly finding herself unable to speak.
Azzi giggled and leaned back, snapping Paige out of her trance again. “So fucking whipped.”
Paige’s glare burned into the side of Azzi’s face. “You know what? You can go and pay for your own damn ice cream.”
Azzi was already scrolling on her phone, nails tapping against her screen. “Don’t even try and start. We both know you’re gonna end up paying anyways.”
“Fuck you.”

“You keep frownin’ like that, you’re gonna get wrinkles.”
Lifting your focused gaze from your computer screen to the source of a familiar voice, the creases etched along your forehead deepened at the sight of Billy standing in your office doorway, leaning against the frame with his hands tucked into the pockets of his perfectly tailored suit pants and that signature vain smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
“What are you doing here?”
“Good to see you too, darlin’.”
Billy let out a dry chuckle, crossing the threshold over towards your desk in just a few quick strides. Leaning over your desk, Billy stretched his hand out to brush his thumb along the space between your eyebrows, effectively smoothing out the crinkles of concentration coupled with confusion. The gesture caught you off guard, and you blinked a few times in surprise as Billy unbuttoned the middle button on his dark gray suit jacket before sitting down in the chair in front of your desk.
“There, that’s better. Now, how ‘bout you at least pretend to be happy to see me.”
Billy arched one of his dark brows, that same smirk still gracing the edge of his lips in a silent tease. Looking over at him, it occurred to you that there always seemed to be some hint of mischief lingering in his deep espresso tinted eyes. Leaning back in your chair and folding your arms over your chest, you gave him a pointed look.
“What can I do for you, Billy?”
“Well aren’t you a ray of sunshine today.”
“I could be worse, if you’d like.”
Billy’s lips split into a full blown grin, and he let out an amused chuckle at the sass dripping from your dry reply.
“Nah, I’ve seen you pissed. I’d prefer to stay on your good side, sweetheart. You wanna tell me what’s got you in such a pleasant mood this mornin’?”
Being around Billy just made you think about Frank, and thinking about Frank only reminded you of the fact that the two of you weren’t in a good place right now. He swore to you the night you confronted him that he was going to wrap this job up as quickly as he could, but that meant he had to devote all of his time to it, which resulted in him being around even less than he had been last month.
Two weeks had passed since you’d last seen Frank in person. When you woke up in his bed the morning after you’d shown up at his apartment to confront him, he was already gone. He’d left a note on his pillow saying that he would call you soon, but that call didn’t come for four days, and neither one of you had much to say. You thought hearing his voice after being apart for a while would make you feel better about the whole situation, grant you some sense of relief or jumpstart a spark of acceptance you couldn’t find beforehand, but it only made you even more pissed off about what was happening.
And then the call you had with him two days ago really set you off.
Frank had been trying to keep the conversation light, and there was an apologetic tone to his gruff voice, but you couldn’t bite your tongue. The more you sat alone with the vague explanation he had given you, the more his promise of reassurance felt like fraud. You drew blood first, like you always did, but after a round of back and forth passive aggressive exchanges, Frank lost his own temper and went on the defense.
“For Christ’s sake, what else you want me to say, huh? How many other ways I gotta apologize?”
“We shouldn’t even be in this situation right now, Frank-”
“Yeah, well we are, and you’re gonna have to find a way to deal with it cause it ain’t changin’ any goddamn time soon.”
Frank’s aggressive retort only incensed you further. The stress of the current job combined with the growing rift between the two of you eroded his patience into raw frustration, and you were matching his verbal lashes blow for blow.
“Just deal with it? Just deal with you being away and hiding things from me?”
“That’s the job sometimes, alright? You know first hand the kinda shit I gotta do. You know what my world’s like. I told you I was gonna do what I could to get this handled as soon as possible-”
“But this isn’t your normal job, Frank! Stop using that as a fucking excuse. You’ve never had to disappear to God only knows where before, and you’ve never kept secrets from me-”
“Oh for fucks sake. You think that’s what I’m doin’? Makin’ excuses? That’s bullshit and you know it. I told you what I could-”
“And that’s supposed to be enough?“
“It was enough for Maria.”
Those five simple words stunned you silent. They struck a nerve you didn’t even know existed, and Frank, blinded by his aggravation, just kept hacking away at it with his verbal arsenal.
“Ya’know, she never gave me this much fuckin’ shit, and she had to deal with way worse than you. I was away from her and the kids for months at a time, couldn’t tell her a goddamn thing ‘bout what I was really doin’, and she was never on my ass the way you are right now-”
“I’m not her, Frank!”
The only sounds on the line were yours and Frank’s labored breathing, shallow and heavy from yelling and exhausting your vexed emotions on one another. For several moments, neither of you spoke a word, until finally you broke the silence by gritting your teeth and delivering one last blow.
“You know what, don’t fucking call me again until this shit is over.”
Frank, being the stubborn ass that he was, hadn’t attempted to contact you to smooth things over or to apologize. It infuriated you, but in the same breath, you didn’t want to speak to him right now.
Still, it wasn’t fair of you to take your sour mood out on Billy. He hadn’t done anything wrong. You were upset with Frank, not him. Letting out a deep exhale through your nose, you slowly dragged your palm down your face before leaning back in your chair. You hadn’t noticed how stiffly you’d been sitting until you felt a dull ache in your lower back.
“I…sorry. There’s just…a lot going on right now. I’m spread kinda thin so, I’m…a bit on edge.”
“A bit?”
When you shot him an unamused look, Billy let out a light chuckle and held up his hands in a show of faux surrender.
“Alright, alright. I didn’t come to here to fuck with ya. I actually came to ask a favor.”
An expression of surprise swiftly coveted your features. What could you possibly have to offer Billy Russo?
“A favor?”
Billy leaned back in the chair, adjusting the lapels of his suit before crossing his left leg over his right knee, placing his elbows on the arm rests. Maybe it was because your office was familiar to him, or maybe it was because he was so rich he felt like he owned everything, but Billy had a way of being able to make himself comfortable no matter what setting he was in. Fixing his deep brown eyes on you, that signature smirk of his graced his lips once again when he caught your look of intrigue and confusion.
“As you know, Anvil has a government contract with Homeland Security. It was a big deal for the company, and it’s proven to be a damn good business investment. As a matter of fact, it’s been so successful, that I’ve been meetin’ with a few other branches negotiatin’ another expansion, and recently closed a deal with the CIA.”
“Don’t government contracts kinda defeat the whole private military operation thing?”
“I didn’t hear you complainin’ when that Homeland contract brought you to me.”
Rolling your eyes at the smugness in his voice, you reached for the nearly empty iced coffee sitting on your desk.
“It wasn’t a complaint.”
“Anvil is more than personal protection, darlin’. It’s also convoy security, tactical operations, tailored training, and more. Most of our military contracts are outside of the U.S, so havin’ two on American soil is a huge deal.”
“If you’re trying to sell me on investing, I hate to break it to you, but I think the number currently reflecting in my bank account would make you cry.”
Billy let out a deep chuckle at that, his lips stretching open into a tooth bearing grin. Giving a faint shake of his head, he ran his right hand along the top of his head, smoothing his perfectly styled raven hair back into place.
“That’s not what I’m askin’.”
“Then how do I come into this, exactly?”
“The news hasn’t hit the media yet. Anvil’s hosting a Veteran’s Charity Ball this Saturday night, and I’m gonna make the announcement then. That, pretty girl, is where you come into play. I’d like you to personally cover the story.”
Looking across your desk at Billy, you could see by the look on his face that he was serious about wanting you to cover the piece. A slight furrow nestled between your brows at the idea.
“Why me?”
Billy cocked his head to the side, a sparkle of mirth in his eyes and a sly smile tugging at the edge of his mouth.
“Why would I ask anyone else? You know me, you know the company-”
“Which is kind of conflict of interest-”
“I already cleared it with your editor. You bein’ under the protection of Anvil is classified through Homeland, and since we’re a private company like you mentioned, our records ain’t public. Besides, your editor seemed pretty confident you could write without bias. Look, I want you on this. I’ve read the work of some of the other journalists here, and I gotta tell ya, even if I didn’t know ya, I still woulda picked you.”
Hearing that Billy had already talked to Ellison about this was a surprise to you because Ellison hadn’t mentioned it at all to you. When had Billy talked to him about this? Why hadn’t Ellison told you? Perplexity shrouded your features as you looked over at Billy.
“Ellison didn’t say anything-”
“I asked him not to. I wanted to ask you first, in person. He gave it the green light, but ultimately, it’s up to you if you wanna do it.”
Being kept in the dark seemed to be a recurring theme in your life lately that you weren’t happy with, and it stirred up dull embers of irritation from your fight with Frank. A part of you didn’t want to do it purely out of immature spite, since Billy indirectly had a hand in creating the chasm currently deepening between you and Frank. But that wasn’t fair to Billy. You owed him your life as much as you did Frank and Dinah. Billy played a vital part in keeping you safe and protected from the Defenders of Freedom, and recording Steven’s confession ended up being the smoking gun in proving his involvement.
After a moment of silent contemplation, you let out a light exhale through your lips.
“Alright, I’ll do it.”
“Don’t get too excited, now. It’s only a fancy party with an extensive open bar and catering from all of the best restaurants in the city.”
Trying to fight the smile that threatened to escape across your lips, you looked over at Billy and arched one of your brows.
“Are you trying to bribe me to write you a good article, Mr. Russo?”
“Is it workin’?”
Billy’s mouth was stretched in a wide, wolfish grin, showcasing the top row of his dazzling pearly white teeth. His dark brows were raised slightly up his forehead, and he had that familiar devilish twinkle in his eyes. Giving a soft shake of your head with a dry laugh, you crossed your arms over your chest and relaxed back in your chair.
“What time?”
“Starts at seven, I’ll send a car for ya ‘round six-thirty.”
“You don’t have to do that, I can take a cab-”
“C’mon, you’re doin’ me a favor.”
“Hey, I never agreed to write a good article. I might make you look terrible, just for the fun of it.”
Returning your teasing smile with an amused grin, Billy chuckled with a shake of his head. As he stood up and fixed his maroon tie, he motioned towards your office door with his head.
“Alright, c’mon.”
Staring up at him with a puzzled expression, you let out a soft laugh while he buttoned the middle button of his suit jacket.
“What?”
“I’m takin’ your bratty ass to lunch. Maybe after some food you’ll be a bit nicer.”
Making a show of rolling your eyes in faux exasperation, you stood from your chair and locked your computer before closing your notebook.
“No promises.”
“Well in my experience, you’re more tolerable when you’re fed.”
“Keep talking. Your article is getting worse and worse.”
“I’m sure a few glasses of expensive champagne will fix that.”
Billy turned to take a step towards the door and then abruptly paused, turning back to look at you with another teasing grin.
“Oh, and do me another favor, would ya? See if you can get Frankie to drag his ass out and make an appearance. I think he’s forgotten how to use his phone.”
The mention of Frank’s name instantly tarnished the light hearted mood Billy’s banter had put you in. Letting out a dry scoff, you slipped your phone into your purse and pulled the straps over your shoulder.
“I wouldn’t hold your breath. That job you and Madani have him working has not only turned him into a ghost, but also a complete dick. I’ll let you deal with him.”
Tucking a loose strand of your hair behind your ear, you started to round your desk when you looked up and caught the expression on Billy’s face, and it made you stop in your tracks. His sharp features were suddenly void of their usual playful warmth, and there was no charming smirk etched onto his mouth. His lips were set in a firm line, outlining his chiseled jaw that was covered in a perfectly trimmed dark beard, and his dark brown eyes looked nearly obsidian.
“The job with Madani?”
There was a faint serrated edge to his tone when he spoke, but you didn’t miss it. Billy’s stare was intense, and you realized he probably thought that you knew something you shouldn’t. Crossing your arms over your chest, you let an irritated exhale escape through your nose as your gaze drifted towards the window of your office.
“Don’t worry, he didn’t tell me anything. Not where he was going, not what he was doing, nothing. So whatever top secret thing you two have him doing, it’s still top secret, alright?”
There was a long pause of silence, and your annoyance started to fade into a feeling of perplexity when you looked back at him and saw a look in Billy’s eyes that you didn’t know how to read. There was a sudden coldness to him, and an emotion you couldn’t decode hidden in his steely gaze. The tense quietness in your office sent an uneasy shiver down your spine, but then it was like a switch was suddenly flipped, and Billy reverted back to the version of him you’re familiar with.
He plastered that charming smirk on his lips again, but you noticed this time, it wasn’t accompanied by the usual mischievous glint in his eyes.
“Trouble in paradise?”
Crossing your arms over your chest, you dropped your gaze down to the floor for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh.
“I don’t like being lied to, or kept in the dark. I know your line of work is…complicated, I just…I thought Frank and I didn’t have any secrets between us.”
“Sometimes lyin’ and keepin’ somethin’ hidden is the only way to protect someone from the pain of the truth.”
Lifting your head, you met Billy’s intense gaze with an incredulous and inquisitive look.
“You really believe that?”
“Trust me, some secrets are better left buried, darlin’.”
»»——— ———««
The following evening when you came home from work, all you wanted was a long soak in a hot bath and an entire bottle of wine. The stress of the last two weeks wasn’t just taking a toll on you emotionally, it was also physically manifesting in your body. Closing the front door behind you, the lock sounded with a click when you twisted the oval knob, and you lazily tossed your keys onto the side table in the entryway before carelessly tossing your purse onto it as well.
Coming around the corner into your living room, you nearly had a heart attack when you were suddenly met with the sight of a large figure sitting at your dining table, waiting in the dark. Clutching at your chest in panic and jumping nearly two feet in the air, your voice came out in a shrill shriek.
“Jesus Christ, Frank!”
Frank didn’t physically react to your outburst. He sat as still as a statue in one of the chairs, slightly hunched over with his thighs spread wide, his forearms resting just a few inches above his knees. A bit of dark stubble coated his cheeks and sharp jawline, and his grown out hair was a tousled mess of ebony waves resting against his forehead instead of being pushed back in their usual style.
The swift scare of Frank’s intrusion, his silent treatment, and the lingering resentment you’d been harboring for the past two weeks had you glaring at him.
“How the hell did you get in here?”
His deep brown eyes were fixated on you and his plump lips were set in a stubborn line. Frank’s rugged features were even more pronounced in his resting semi-permanent broody expression. Wordlessly, he lifted one of his large hands, showcasing a set of keys on a ring pinched between his thumb and index finger. One of which, belonged to your front door.
After everything that had happened at your last place, you couldn’t stay there anymore. You’d quickly moved into a new place that happened to be closer to the Bulletin, and as far as you knew no one had died in it, and there weren’t lingering bullet holes under the paint. Frank had helped you move and set up your security system for you again. You’d forgotten that you’d given him a spare key so he could get in while you were at work.
When you crossed your arms over your chest in a defensive stance, Frank caught the pissed off look on your face, and when you opened your mouth to lash out at him, he quickly cut you off with his rough voice before you could get a word out.
“Said not to call. Didn’t say nothin’ ‘bout comin’ to see ya.”
The snippiness of his comment made you narrow your eyes in his direction. Clenching your jaw, you pursed your lips tightly as your face contorted into a portrait of annoyance. You were about to snap back at him when you noticed out of the corner of your eye that there was a packed bag sitting on the dining table next to him.
It was yours.
Eyes flickering between your bag and Frank, you stared at him in a mixture of irritation and confusion.
“What the hell is that for?”
“I gotta leave town for a bit. I told ya I’d make sure you were taken care of while I was gone, so you’re gonna stay with a friend of mine.”
“And you didn’t think to ask me if that was something I even wanted to do?”
“It ain’t up for discussion.”
Frank hadn’t been this cold towards you since the early days of when he was your bodyguard. For a moment your exasperation evaporated, wondering if things between the two of you were worse than you thought. Picking up on the slight change in your body language and facial expression, Frank let out a deep exhale through his large nose and slowly stood up from the chair.
“I can’t do what I need to do if I’m worryin’ ‘bout you bein’ alone here, alright? It’s just for a few days.”
“Frank, I’m not in any danger anymore. No one is actively trying to kill me. If you’re that worried about me being alone, Billy can stop by-”
“No.”
The aggressive tone of Frank’s voice and the roughness of his tone caught you off guard. Frank glanced away from you, his eyes darting around your living room for a few seconds before they finally returned to you. His left hand was tightly grasped in a fist, but on his right, his index and middle finger twitched. A sharp exhale escaped his large nose, and his tongue darted out to wet his bottom lip quickly before he spoke again.
“Look you wanna be pissed at me, be pissed at me, but don’t put yourself at risk cause of it. Maybe you’re right, yeah? Maybe you ain’t a target no more. But I’d rather know you were safe than have to deal with the fact later on that I shoulda done more. I ain’t takin’ that risk again.”
It was like a light bulb went off in your head when he spoke that last sentence. In the midst of your own tangled mess of selfish feelings, you hadn’t once stopped to think about how Frank felt about all of this. A sinking feeling of remorse settled in your stomach hearing the frustration but also the lingering pain in his voice when he spoke.
I ain’t takin’ that risk again.
He’d had his entire family ripped away from him in one single moment, right in front of his eyes, of course he was fucking paranoid. From your perspective, Steven was facing life in prison, and all the remaining members of the Defenders of Freedom were gonna rot with him, so you didn’t think you had anything to be worried about.
But Frank saw danger everywhere. He anticipated it. He planned for it. And that’s what he was doing right now.
Frank was doing the exact same thing he’d been doing every single day since he met you: keeping you safe.
Letting out a deep sigh, you looked down at the floor for a moment to gather your irrational thoughts and rein in your impulsive emotions. When you raised your head, your eyes flickered from the packed bag sitting on your dining table back to Frank’s unrelenting stare. Running one of your hands stressfully through the roots of your hair, you made a faint gesture of throwing your hands up in concession.
“Alright, well if you’re not leaving me with Billy, I’m assuming you’re not taking me to Madani either. So, does Matt know I’m coming?”
Frank’s steely expression crumbled at the mention of Matt’s name. He pulled a face like you’d just asked a ridiculous question, a furrow of annoyance and confusion settling between his thick brows.
“You think I’d leave you with him?”
Letting out a dry scoff void of humor, you rolled your eyes with a shake of your head and folded your arms across your chest.
“Just because he’s blind-”
“It ain’t got shit to do with him bein’ blind.”
“Then what’s the problem?”
“The problem is I don’t trust him to keep his fuckin’ hands to himself, and I ain’t lettin’ him pull that ‘poor blind orphan’ shit on you.”
A look of surprise crossed your face as your brows lifted slightly up your forehead, and it took every ounce of self control not to laugh or show any indication of amusement. Frank wouldn’t leave you in Matt’s care because he was worried he would…hit on you?
Letting out a grunt, Frank grabbed the handles of your bag in his left hand and swiped it off the table.
“He’s too preoccupied at night anyway.”
“Doing what, exactly?”
“Bein’ the goddamn Devil. C’mon.”
When Frank walked past you towards your front door, you turned around to watch him, narrowing your eyes in irritation.
“Can you at least tell me who you’ve employed to babysit me then?”
Frank paused at your front door, which he took up the entire frame of, and his head dropped between his shoulders for a moment. You could hear him audibly voice his frustration with your attitude when he let out another sharp exhale before turning to look at you over his shoulder.
“A friend of mine.”
“Yeah, you said that. A friend of yours, that you’ve never mentioned before. Do I have to have some kind of top secret security clearance for you to tell me their name?”
There was a scowl on Frank’s face as he glowered at you, turning around to face you fully. He dropped your bag on the floor with a light thud, scrunching up his face for a moment as he inhaled sharply through his large nose, cocking his head to the side.
“Christ. This what you wanna do right now, huh?”
Returning his glare with just as much vehemence, you let out a dry and humorless laugh as you gestured around loosely.
“No, Frank. This isn’t what I want-”
“Look you wanna keep bustin’ my goddamn balls, fine. But do it from the truck, yeah? You can antagonize me with your bullshit all you want while I drive, but we got somewhere to be.”
Clenching your jaw, your hands balled into frustrated fists at your sides. For a moment the two of you were locked in some kind of silent staring contest. You were so sick of every conversation with Frank lately turning into an argument that ended with the two of you at each other’s throats. You didn’t have the patience to combat his stubborn dedication to being a self righteous asshole. Gritting your teeth, you stormed forward and grabbed your own bag as you brushed past him out your front door, swearing under your breath.
“Dick.”
Frank pursed his full lips and nodded his head, turning around to follow you after forcefully shutting your front door behind himself.
“Yeah yeah, get in the goddamn truck.”

Superman Unmasked & Unveiled
Chapter 1
Tom’s heart skipped a beat as the hotel elevator jolted to a stop. The small space, already feeling cramped with just him and the tall, broad-shouldered man beside him, suddenly felt even more confined. Henry Cavill—yes, *that* Henry Cavill—stood mere inches away, his presence almost overwhelming. Tom had seen him on the big screen, but up close, the actor was even more breathtaking, radiating an effortless charisma that made Tom’s mouth dry.
“Well,” Henry said, breaking the silence with a low, smooth voice that sent a shiver down Tom’s spine. “Seems we’re stuck.” His lips curled into a smirk, and his piercing eyes locked onto Tom’s, making it nearly impossible to look away. “Nice company, though.”
Tom swallowed hard, his brain struggling to formulate a response. “Uh, yeah. This is… unexpected.”
Henry chuckled, the sound deep and resonant, vibrating through the confined space. “Relax, it’s not the end of the world. We’ll be out of here soon enough.” He leaned casually against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest, making his biceps bulge beneath the tailored suit jacket. “So, what brings you to this hotel? Business or pleasure?”
Tom’s mind raced. How did one respond to such a question from someone like Henry Cavill? “A bit of both, I suppose,” he finally managed, hoping his voice didn’t betray how flustered he was.
“Mmm, intriguing.” Henry’s gaze dropped briefly to Tom’s lips before returning to his eyes. “I like people who keep things interesting.”
The air between them thickened, and Tom could feel the heat radiating off Henry’s body. The elevator’s emergency lights flickered, casting an eerie glow over the space, but neither man seemed to notice. All Tom could focus on was the way Henry was looking at him, like he was sizing him up, teasing him without even trying.
“You know,” Henry murmured, stepping closer, his voice dropping to a silken tone, “elevators have a tendency to bring people together in ways they never expect.”
Tom’s breath hitched as Henry closed the gap between them, their chests brushing ever so lightly. Henry’s cologne invaded his senses, a heady mix of spice and something wild, undefinable. “Do you believe in fate, Tom?” Henry’s hand came up, his fingers brushing against Tom’s jawline, his touch warm and deliberate.
“I—I don’t know,” Tom stammered, his pulse racing. “Maybe. Sometimes.”
Henry’s smirk deepened, and he leaned in closer, his breath fanning over Tom’s lips. “Then maybe this is fate’s way of giving us a little time alone. Just the two of us.”
Before Tom could respond, the elevator creaked and groaned, signaling its return to life. The doors slid open with a ding, and Henry stepped back, his demeanor shifting instantly. Gone was the flirtatious tension, replaced by a charming, confident smile. “Well, that was exciting. Let’s continue this conversation somewhere a bit more comfortable, shall we?”
Tom hesitated, torn between the desire to follow Henry and the urge to flee. But the pull was too strong. Henry led the way down the hall, his gait smooth and commanding, until they reached his suite. The door clicked shut behind them, and the atmosphere changed again, becoming heavier, charged with unspoken intentions.
“Drink?” Henry asked, moving toward the mini bar, his movements fluid and graceful.
“Sure,” Tom replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
Henry handed him a glass of whiskey, his fingers brushing against Tom’s in a fleeting yet electric touch. They sat on the plush couch, the tension between them simmering, ready to boil over. Henry’s knee brushed against Tom’s, a deliberate move that sent a jolt of electricity through him.
“You’re nervous,” Henry observed, his voice low and husky. “Why? I thought we were having a good time.”
Tom laughed nervously, taking a sip of his drink. “It’s not every day you get stuck in an elevator with Superman.”
Henry chuckled, shaking his head. “Ah, I see. My reputation precedes me.” He leaned in closer, his breath warm against Tom’s ear. “Let me show you that I’m much more than just a superhero on film.”
And then, without warning, Henry kissed him. It wasn’t a gentle peck; it was a full-on, devour-you-alive kiss that left no room for doubt. Toms glass tumbled from his hand as he responded instinctively, his hands gripping Henry’s shoulders for dear life. The actor’s lips were firm yet pliant, his tongue sliding against Tom’s in a sensuous dance that made his head spin.
As the kiss deepened, Tom became aware of something strange. Henry’s face felt… off. It wasn’t unpleasant, but there was a slight give, a flexibility that didn’t quite align with how human skin should feel. Tom pulled back slightly, his curiosity piqued. “Your face… it feels different.”
Henry’s eyes flashed with something unreadable, but his smile remained. “Does it now? Interesting.” He leaned in for another kiss, more intense this time, his hands roaming over Tom’s body with a possessiveness that bordered on aggressive. Tom’s own hands couldn’t resist exploring, sliding across Henry’s broad shoulders, down his sculpted back.
But then, as their bodies pressed closer, sweat forming between them, Tom felt it again—that odd shift in Henry’s face. His cheeks seemed to change shape ever so slightly, almost as if they were moving independently. Curiosity, mingled with arousal, grew too strong to ignore.
Tom broke the kiss, his fingers tracing the edges of Henry’s face. “What’s going on here?”
Henry’s breath hitched, his chest heaving. “You’re very observant, aren’t you?”
Tom’s fingers found Henry’s nose, and to his astonishment, it moved slightly under his touch, as if made of some kind of flexible material. He pulled gently, and the skin lifted, revealing a faint seam. With a gasp, Tom pulled harder, and Henry moaned softly, his body tensing. “Fuck,” Henry muttered, his voice rough. “Don’t stop.”
Encouraged, Tom moved to Henry’s ears, tugging experimentally. They shifted too, yielding to his touch. The entire face seemed to be composed of something far from human, yet so lifelike it was uncanny. Tom’s heart pounded wildly as he gripped a handful of Henry’s hair and pulled upward. His eyes seemed to sing down in his face and the eyeholes were stretched. He pulled harder and Henry was not resisting. He was rubbing his groin region and moaned loudly. So Tom continued to pull and moved the obvious mask to both side to pull it free. The wet slurping sound now was unmistakable as the mask peeled away slowly, revealing a sweaty man entirely different from the Hollywood icon. He had short blonde hair and short stubbles as a beard.
Tom’s breath caught in his throat. The man before him was handsome, yes, but entirely different from the towering, chiseled figure of Henry Cavill. His chest heaved with labored breaths, and his blue eyes locked onto Tom’s with a mixture of vulnerability and raw desire. Drenched in sweat, his skin glistened under the soft hotel room lights, and his arousal was evident—his cock straining against the fabric of his boxer briefs.
“You’re not Henry,” Tom said, his voice low and barely more than a whisper. The words felt surreal, as if he were narrating someone else’s dream.
The man gave a wry smile, his hand reaching up to wipe the sweat from his brow. “No,” he admitted, his voice smooth but less commanding than Henry’s. “I’m Steven. And you just almost ripped my very expensive mask.” He chuckled nervously, though there was no mistaking the heat in his gaze. “Please don’t scream or call security. I promise I’m not dangerous.”
Tom stared at him, processing the situation. Steven’s voice now sounded completely different. His heart was still pounding, but it wasn’t out of fear. No, it was something else—something primal and intoxicating. The revelation that this entire encounter had been a facade only heightened the intensity of the moment. He glanced down at the mask in his hands, now slick with sweat and a little makeup, and then back up at Steven. His curiosity was insatiable.
“Why?” Tom asked, his voice steady despite the whirlwind of emotions inside him. “Why do you impersonate people like that?”
Steven shrugged, running a hand through his slightly wavy brown hair. “It’s my job. Sometimes celebrities can’t make appearances, so they hire me to step in. I’ve got a talent for mimicry, and… well, I guess I enjoy playing dress-up. It’s fun to be someone else for a while.” His lips quirked into a sheepish grin, but his eyes remained focused on Tom. “But I didn’t expect this. I mean, I wasn’t planning to… you know. Pull off the mask mid-seduction.”
Tom’s lips twitched into a smile, and he found himself oddly fascinated by Steven’s openness. “So, you’re saying you weren’t planning to let me see the real you?”
Steven shook his head, his breathing steadying. “Not unless things got… really serious. Which, honestly, I didn’t think would happen tonight. But here we are.” He paused, his expression softening. “And now you know. So, what happens next? Are you going to tell everyone? Or…” He trailed off, his body language becoming guarded.
Tom recognized something and moved closer, his fingers brushing against the edge of Steven’s neck. There was now a small edge like he was wearing a skin over his skin. Before this edge was somehow fused to the neck part of the mask. It was warm and damp, imbued with the scent of their shared excitement. “Or what?” he asked, his tone teasing.
Steven’s eyes darkened, and he leaned in, his breath hot against Tom’s ear. “Or maybe you want to keep this our little secret. Maybe you’d like to… explore this further.” His hand snaked around Tom’s waist, pulling him flush against his body. Despite the absence of Henry’s exaggerated muscles, Steven’s own physique was solid and appealing, and Tom couldn’t help but respond to the invitation.
“Explore how?” Tom murmured, his lips brushing against Steven’s neck as he spoke. He pressed his lips to the edge and discovered it with his tongue.
Steven groaned softly, his grip tightening. “Like this,” he said, his voice thick with urgency. With one swift motion, he grabbed the hem of Tom’s shirt and yanked it over his head, tossing it aside. Tom’s lean, athletic frame was revealed, and Steven’s hands roamed over his chest, mapping every inch with deliberate attention. “You’re beautiful,” Steven breathed, his fingertips tracing the outline of Tom’s nipples, causing them to tighten beneath his touch.
Tom shivered, his body responding instinctively to Steven’s ministrations. He hadn’t expected this level of intimacy after such a bizarre revelation, but there was no denying the electric tension between them. “You’re not so bad yourself,” he replied, his voice laced with amusement and desire.
Steven grinned, his confidence returning as he began to kiss and nibble at Tom’s collarbone. “Flattery will get you everywhere,” he teased, his hands sliding lower to cup Tom’s ass. Toms hand wandered up to Steven’s neck and he pressed a finger inside the gab at his neck. Steven was wearing a kind of skinlike suit obviously. So his muscle were also fake. With new excitement and recurrent erection he presses his whole hand inside this gap. Steven let out an intensive moan and a shiver runs down to Tom’s spine. It felt incredible wet and warm underneath. It felt like intruding into Steven’s body. Steven opened his eyes. *Now, about that muscle suit…”
Tom’s pulse quickened as Steven squeezed his cheeks appreciatively, and he felt a surge of anticipation. “What about you wearing it now?* he asked, his voice cracking slightly.
Tom nodded absently, Stevens eyes gleaming with mischief. “And the mask too. I think you’d make a great Henry Cavill.”
Tom hesitated for a moment, then laughed under his breath. “God, I must be insane,” he muttered, but there was no real doubt in his mind. The idea of stepping into the role of the Hollywood hunk was intoxicating, and the thought of wearing that mask—this time over his own face—was almost too thrilling to resist.
Without another word, Tom knelt down and began unzipping the muscle suit at Steven’s back, after Steven had shown him the hidden zipper. Steven had to get rid of his trousers and shorts. The material of the suit was sticky with sweat, and the faint chemical smell of latex mingled with their musky scents. Carefully, he peeled the suit away from Steven’s body, revealing the man’s true form underneath. The suit was torso and legs with areas exposing his real penis and butthole. Steven wasn’t as muscular as Henry’s image had suggested, but his physique was still impressive, and Tom couldn’t help but admire the way his toned muscles flexed as he moved.
Once the suit was fully removed, Tom stood and held it up, inspecting it closely. The craftsmanship was extraordinary, and he marveled at the way the contours of the muscles had been perfectly replicated. “This is incredible,” he said, his voice filled with awe.
Steven smirked, leaning back against the couch. “Glad you approve. Now, why don’t you try it on?”
Tom nodded, his excitement growing as he stripped out of his remaining clothes. Naked, he stepped into the muscle suit, feeling its snug fit as he pulled it up his legs and over his torso. He only struggled a little with his erected penis. The material clung to his skin, and he could feel the residual warmth of Steven’s body within it. The remaining sweat helped him to pull up the suit. When he reached the zipper at the back, Steven stepped forward to assist, fastening it securely behind him. He felt like becoming part of Steven at this moment.
Next came the mask. Tom picked it up, its silicone surface cool to the touch, and positioned it over his own face. As he smoothed it into place, the familiar slide slurping sound when adjusting it echoed in the room, and soon his features were completely concealed. The transformation was complete, and Tom couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of it all. He watched himself in the near mirror and his erection was still strong, coming out of a sheet in the suit.
When he looked up, Steven’s eyes were wide with admiration. “Damn,” Steven muttered, his voice filled with genuine appreciation. “You’re perfect.”
Tom smiled, his new features shifting easily under his control. He felt the residing warmth and the sweat of Steven around him. It felt all his senses. It was like being completely absorbed by this strange man. “So, what now?” he asked, his voice altered slightly by the mask’s design.
Steven’s grin was predatory as he stepped closer, his hands reaching out to caress the newly enhanced muscles of Tom’s chest. “Now,” he said, his voice low and husky, “we fuck.”
Steven’s hands roamed over Tom’s chest, his fingers tracing the contours of the muscle suit. The material was smooth but clingy, accentuating every defined line and curve that Tom’s body now possessed. Steven’s touch was electric, sending shivers down Tom’s spine despite the mask hiding his expression. The heat between them was palpable, a tangible force that seemed to fill the room.
“You feel incredible,” Steven murmured, his voice low and filled with admiration. His eyes locked onto Tom’s, studying the way the mask transformed his features into those of Henry Cavill. The illusion was stunning, and Steven couldn’t help but marvel at how seamlessly Tom had slipped into the role.
Tom smirked, feeling the confidence surge through him as he flexed his enhanced muscles. “You like what you see?” he asked, his voice slightly distorted by the mask but still carrying that unmistakable air of authority.
Steven chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound that made Tom’s heart race. “Oh, I like it all right,” he replied, his hands moving lower, sliding over the tight fabric of the suit to grip Tom’s ass. He squeezed firmly, eliciting a groan from Tom, who leaned into the touch.
“Fuck,” Tom muttered, his breath quickening as Steven’s hands continued their exploration. The sensation of being touched through the suit was thrilling, making him feel powerful and desired in a way he never had before. He could feel the sweat starting to form underneath the suit, mixing with the residual warmth of Steven’s own perspiration.
Steven’s lips curled into a wicked smile as he stepped back, pulling Tom with him. “Let’s move this to the bed,” he suggested, his tone leaving no room for argument.
Tom nodded eagerly, following Steven across the room to the large bed that dominated the space. The mattress was soft and inviting, and Tom couldn’t wait to sink into it. As they reached the bed, Steven pushed Tom gently backward, guiding him down onto the surface.
Tom fell back onto the mattress, his enhanced body landing with a soft thud. The muscle suit felt even tighter now, constricting his movements slightly but adding to the thrill of the moment. Steven climbed onto the bed after him, straddling Tom’s legs and leaning down to kiss him passionately. With his tongue he discovered all the little holes in the mask and slides with it under the mask tasting the mixed sweat of both guys.
The kiss was extremely intense, Steven’s lips pressing repeatedly hard against Tom’s masked face. The material of the mask muffled the sensation somewhat, but the heat and pressure were undeniable. Tom moaned into the kiss, his hands reaching up to grip Steven’s shoulders. Steven bit into the lips of the mask and pulled a little until letting it snap back in place with a smacking sound.
Steven broke the kiss, pulling back slightly to look down at Tom. “You ready for this?” he asked, his voice dripping with lust.
Tom nodded, his breathing heavy as he looked up at Steven. “Fuck yes,” he replied, his voice filled with determination.
With that, Steven moved, positioning himself between Tom’s legs and lining himself up with Tom’s erection. The muscle suit was tight, but there was a gap between his butt cheeks where Steven couldn’t make room for himself. He spit in his hands and wipes it around Toms hole. He pressed forward, entering Tom slowly but surely, reveling in the tightness and heat that surrounded him.
Tom groaned loudly, the sensation overwhelming him. The muscle suit added an extra layer of intensity, making every movement more pronounced and exciting. He could feel Steven’s cock inside him, filling him up completely, and it was everything he had hoped for.
Steven began to move, thrusting in and out of Tom with slow, deliberate strokes. Each movement was calculated, designed to maximize the pleasure for both of them. Tom’s hands clenched tightly around Steven’s waist, holding on as the sensations built inside him.
“Fuck, you feel so good,” Steven muttered, his voice strained with effort. His hips snapped forward with each thrust, driving deeper into Tom with every movement. He grabbed Tom’s artificial chest with both hands, massaged it and pulling strongly at the suit so that Tom was lifted even a little.
Tom’s head lolled back against the pillows, his breath coming in short, ragged gasps. The mask was starting to feel restrictive, the heat and humidity building up inside it making it somehow difficult to breathe. But he didn’t care; the pleasure was too great, too overwhelming to worry about anything else.
Steven’s pace quickened, his thrusts growing faster and harder as he neared his climax. Tom could feel the tension building in Steven’s body, the way his muscles tensed and relaxed with each movement. It was exhilarating, knowing that he was the one driving Steven to this point.
“Almost there,” Steven growled, his voice low and guttural. His hips slammed into Tom’s with brutal force, the impact reverberating through both of their bodies.
Tom’s own orgasm was close, the pressure building in his groin as Steven continued to pound into him. He could feel the tension coiling tighter and tighter, waiting for the release that would send him over the edge.
“Come on,” Steven urged, his voice sharp and commanding. “Give it to me.” With saying this he bent forward and grabbed the hair of the mask. He pulled hard upward without caring to destroy the mask. The entire face seemed to stretch unlimited just hold by Tom’s chin. The eyeholes just showed empty spots. Tom’s heart pounded wildly. The slurping sound was strong as the mask peeled away like a wip, revealing the sweaty face which showed pure extasy.
Those impressions were enough to push Tom over the edge. With a loud cry, he came, his body convulsing around Steven’s cock as wave after wave of pleasure washed over him. The sensation was indescribable, pure ecstasy coursing through his veins as he rode out the waves of his orgasm.
Steven followed soon after, his own release hitting him hard as he buried himself deep inside Tom. He groaned loudly, his body trembling as he emptied himself into Tom, the sensation of release almost too much to bear.
They lay together for a moment, catching their breath and basking in the afterglow of their passion. The room was silent except for the sound of their heavy breathing, the air thick with the scent of sweat and sex.
Finally, Steven pulled out of Tom, sitting back on the bed and looking down at him. “Damn,” he said, his voice filled with awe. “That was… something else.”
Tom grinned, touching his own muscular body. “Yeah,” he agreed, his voice still slightly breathless. “It really was.”
Steven leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of Tom’s head. “You did good,” he said, his tone warm and affectionate. “Very good.”
Tom smiled, feeling a sense of pride wash over him. He had taken on the role of Henry Cavill and had done it well, giving Steven the experience of a lifetime. It was a surreal feeling, one that he knew he would never forget.
Steven stood up, stretching his arms above his head. “Alright,” he said, his voice light and cheerful. “Let’s get you out of that suit.”
Tom nodded, sitting up and preparing himself for the process of stripping off the muscle suit. As Steven helped him out of the suit, Tom couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sadness at the thought of losing the persona he had just inhabited. It had been exhilarating, stepping into someone else’s shoes and experiencing life from a different perspective.
But as Steven peeled the muscle suit off him, exposing his own body once again, Tom realized that the experience wasn’t over. He grabbed the mask and kissed the empty mouth gently entering his tongue into it. There were more masks, more suits, more opportunities to explore and transform. And with Steven by his side, he knew that the possibilities were endless.
to be continued…
