OK SO UHHH first i should say! i significantly reduced the amount of years between william's death and fnaf 3. so rather than it being 30 years its down to 10. i feel 10 is still reasonably long without being too much yk. sooo for those 10 years i think michael is kind of chilling… he lives with henry, and the both of them are in on fnaf 6 together, like they are actively planning it during this time & trying to track down the still haunted animatronics for that purpose. ALSOO jeremy is there… he doesnt live with them but michael hangs out with him often. theres not a lot for him to do considering he's a dead man but jeremy helps get him out and about and tries to redirect his mind from constantly thinking about tracking down his dad and fixing things (henry doesnt help in that regard). im not sure he'd pick up another job - he doesnt need to with henry still having profits from freddy's, and its sorta more a risk than anything. i think he'd pick up some kind of hobby… definitely working on his art during this time but i can see him getting into computers or something for funsies

i don't really like when people say dungeon meshi is accidentally good autistic representation, because while i understand not wanting to make conclusions without explicit confirmation from the author, there's always the weird assumption that non-western authors somehow don't know about things like neurodivergency/queerness/etc. (on top of the assumptions that east asian authors are somehow more naive or oblivious to "western" social issues).

given that dungeon meshi started being published in 2014, it's not really a "work belonging to its times"—it's as contemporary as any other media we discuss on this site, which means it should be fair to assume it engages with contemporary topics (and at the very least, you shouldn't say that the representation is accidental with so much confidence)

but anyways, the chapter "perfect communication" in ryoko kui's "terrarium in a drawer" is some of the most straightforward autistic representation I've seen, and from now on I'm going to assume that laios's character writing is absolutely intentional in that regard:
