OMGGG!!! i feel like carmen calls you "baby" when you're dating and when you're married it's "honey". like he'll kinda bounce back and forth between both but "honey" feels more domestic to him for some reason lol.

"Teddy, can you put your toys away for me, sweet girl?" You coo gently, attempting to chop the apple in front of you. You tried to remember Carmen's pointers about it, but you always ended up letting him do it because he was so fast with it.

You could hear the bustling of toys from the little play house in the living room, looking over your shoulder to see her with her little doll, playing exaggeratedly. You grinned, wiping your hands on the towel by the counter, sneaking out your phone to snap a photo to send to Carmen.

"Teddy," You said, stepping into the living room. Her bright eyes lifting to you, blinking with round eyes so sweet it made you want to melt. "Can you put your toys away so we can have a snack?"

"Yes, honey." Teddy hummed sweetly, putting her toys away in the small box in the corner.

You blinked, a little confused by the name. "What did you say, baby?" You asked gently, sinking to your knees.

"Yes, honey." Teddy repeated, blinking up at you sweetly.

You could feel your chest rush with that familiar heat of adoration. "Are you being silly? Why are you calling Mommy honey?" You grinned playfully, voice lilting in that baby coo.

"Noooo," Teddy giggled, running into your arms, nearly knocking you over when she hugged you. "Daddy says honey. 's your names."

You laughed, hugging her against your chest. You and Carmen both were beginning to learn how observant children were. Teddy caught on to everything- including the word "fuck" which she heard Carmen say once, and seemed to have never forgotten, tormenting him with it every chance she got.

"Daddy does call me honey, doesn't he?" You hum, pressing your nose to her little scalp, pressing kisses there.

"Yeah." Teddy agreed, clinging to your neck.

You carried her to the kitchen, hoisted on your hip, strapping her into her little high chair while you gave her snack to her. You texted Carmen to FaceTime you if he had the chance, babbling back at Teddy sweetly until your phone rang.

"Hey, honey, everything good?" Carmen's face appeared on the other side of the screen, shutting the door to his office when he did.

"Yeah, everything's good. I just... Hold on, listen." You mutter, walking over to Teddy. "Teddy Bear, Daddy's on the phone." You cooed excitedly, grinning at her squeals and shrieks of excitement.

"Teddy, tell Daddy what you've been calling Mommy." You urge lightly, hand running down her curls. Carmen's face falls slightly, the shake of your head assuring him otherwise.

Teddy just blinked, brows furrowed like she had no idea what you were talking about. You gave her a pointed look, brows furrowed playfully. "What does Daddy call me? That you called me earlier?"

Teddy thought for a moment before grinning. "Honey." She smiled when you laughed, nodding. Carmen grinned, watching her grab the phone pulling it to her face. "You call Mama that, Daddy, so-so I calls her honey too." Teddy declared proudly.

"That's right, Teddy. Good job, baby." Carmen cooed, grinning at her little laugh.

You took your phone back, smiling proudly back at him. "When'd she start that?"

"Like twenty minutes ago." You beamed. "I asked her to clean her toys and she goes yes, honey." You giggle. "She's so cute."

"She is." Carmen agreed. "Gets it from you, honey."

"Stop." You roll your eyes, trying to hide your blush. "How's work?"

"Good. Syd said she could handle dinner tonight, so I'm gonna finish prep then should be home early." Carmen hummed, leaning back in his chair.

"Yay. Maybe we could take Teddy down to the square then? She needs new shoes." You grab the wipes off the counter to clean her hands.

"Yeah, we can do that." Carmen nodded. "I gotta go, baby, but I'll see you later."

I'll keep this brief because i'm already planning on writing a huuuge txt file with all of The Lore I Have In My Head in case i never actually write it into a story but still want people to know more about my favorite guys ever BUT here goes a Nick Birth: This Has Almost Nothing To Do With SiIvaGunner

so the whole universe is like . just A World where robots are created and have been being created for ages to fulfill specific purposes like attack and defense and whatever . and in very specific instances either by contact with the outside world or pure chance they have like a really low chance of becoming sentient. this was never planned but at some point a few decades in people sorta start accepting it and treating them like. Normal Society Members. but the ride to that point is uber hard and the woodmen came to be like fairly early so they still had to deal with that shtick

ok worldbuilding over. nick himself was created on may 17th 1965 and in a moment where, because the factory he was made in was super fucked and where malfunctions constantly occurred, most of the robots made in that brief period came out broken right out the gate, and the ones that didn't were highly damaged, nick included. (hence his broken chestplate that he has no way of fixing)

Since the few robots that did "survive" could barely fulfill their designated purposes of attack if any at all, experiments began being ran on them to see if they could serve any other purpose, mainly that of defense and, most importantly, fire protection. this also went uber wrong and resulted in (atleast for nick) growing flowers sometimes out of her control and a weird sort of attraction to fire while still being Very Definitely able to be harmed by it.

so those were the first 17 years or so of non-sentience and robot shit and whatever until one day the factory was set ablaze in a freak accident of unknown origins and nick was one of the only robots to actually make it out, with that probably being the moment he gained his consciousness. then immediately fell from a great height into a trash chute and definitely forgot about anything that had happened to him for the past 17 years, having it only vaguely appear in dreams and such for the rest of her life and proto haunting her forever. tldr sentient robot whose factory was FUCKED UP

after that he spent a few years wandering the streets of new age (city that got 'turned' into grandiose city waay later on) fumbling jobs and just sorta living anywhere and everywhere and constantly trying to learn more about the world & arts & herself until Uno Dia wandered into a library where the dude who ran the place thought she could be like a janitor and that's where she stayed for the next like 2 years until actually becoming a librarian himself.

then also met john there not long later cause john was looking for law books and BOOOOOOOOO GAY PEOPLE GTFO 👎! you know the drill also it's 1989 . and ignoring the literal 30 years of story i have in the middle they are both in the here now. noooo way. somehow even as a tldr for the Absolute Origins this is pretty big. also it only actually merges with siiva in 2016 meaning that they have almost 30 years of history together before that LOL.. its a lot. but then in siiva uhhhhh i just pretended that she was there all along in like kfad2 and john just had her secretly working as a cameraman because he didnt wanna have to fill forms for a plus one and have to come out as gay in the process. and in spooktacular iii hes not there physically but john is always calling him like every hour and shit because hes clingy. as fuck. wahoo

Speaking of Criminal Minds I kinda gotta clear some stuff up about Gabriel's job, Gabriel basically works in the department that all the characters in the TV show do, so they're not full blown investigating murders like cops. (THEIR NOT A COP KROW DONT SHOOT THEM PLEASE) But they do work for the FBI and they work on the psychology part of the team. So they do investigate and do arrests but they mainly focus on all that stuff

No job yet 😭 I only have a month before I’m laid off but honestly we don’t even know what day we’re all getting laid off 😭 I haven’t had time to look for jobs because I’m working 30 hour weeks now (yay!) and then homework + school. I went last Friday just going door to door to shops on the waterfront asking around but I haven’t had time to sit down and apply to anything online yet but when I get up out of bed I’m going to. My coworker found some sort of dog job but she feels like she isn’t qualified because she doesn’t have any experience working with dogs, but I do. Right now my goal is just to find anything to buy me some time to try and keep looking for something I like. I mean I don’t *love* my retail job now but I also didn’t quit after a day like I have with other jobs. My only real goal I think is to work someplace that is accommodating of my not-the-best health which is usually how it is at my store except last night a manager who is mad at all of us saw me sitting down and made me get up and took the chair away from me and when I said I was feeling really sick he told me “there’s medication for that” which is just… yeah the ableism… it stinks… and just also hoping to work someplace where people don’t treat me like that… I don’t want to work someplace where people scream and yell at me and put me in a fight or flight reflex or just bully me etc. in that regard it’s not the worse thing in the world I’m losing my job. I’m stressed because I don’t feel like I’ve had time to really apply to things but I’m hopeful! Managers from other stores around have been coming over and telling us that they’re willing to take us in. It’s really heartwarming to see. How about you? Any word from the pet place or the store you applied to?

noooo i’m so sorry 🤧 that sounds very very stressful ! i’m sorry your manager is such an asshole, you definitely deserve to work somewhere better so this may be mostly a good thing that you’ll have to work somewhere new. i know my wife was very very upset she got fired from her last job she’d been working at but they treated her Horribly there. like no respect or appreciation for her hard work that quite honestly kept their business going as good as it did. fuck that place and fuck the manager/place you’re getting fired at too.

i hope somehow you’re able to find somewhere better! with the accommodations you need and getting treated with the respect u deserve! and that it’s overall just a place you moreso feel comfortable/enjoy working at.

as for me i’m going to look into vocational rehabilitation, for getting a job, i believe every place i’ve interviewed at has fallen through unfortunately. but i’ve gotten approved for vocational rehab once and i’m pretty sure i can get approved again, they’re there to help disabled people successfully find and keep jobs, so it’s a good thing they exist for ppl like me. i am hopeful too that this will all work out in the end.

I am currently reading the Lord Alchemist Duology by Elizabeth McCoy! It's really really good, it has a super interesting magic system and writing style, genuinely un-like any other book I've read, and doesn't shy away from like. period magic and other such things lol. What’s something you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year?

I can maybe half say the Horizon: Forbidden West DLC - I liked the overarching plot well enough, and they gave Aloy a lesbian kiss so I'm not too mad, but it carried over almost all of the issues from production that the base game had, which I was keen to see fixed in the DLC. That and the lack of backstory for Seyka or the Quen, the lack of side quests and the lack of interesting stuff to do in the wilds of the DLC made it a bit of a mediocre experience for me (though after HFW I wasn't expecting anything too good anyway).

What’s a hidden talent of yours?

Not sure if it's hidden, but I'm particularly good at spotting double spaces in a document. Pisses me off (it's my editor brain going haywire... my team is always making fun of me for this at work lmao)

dream with stressed s/o:

  you hadn’t been having a good day. more school work had been assigned to you by your professors. add that to actually work at your job and the fact that the weather hadn’t been too nice recently, you were pretty stressed.

  looking into his streaming room, he didn’t seem to be doing much. dream sat at his pc, streaming. it didn’t look like he was doing anything too serious, just trying out speedruns and talking to chat. as you knocked lightly on his door, he quickly turned around, muting his mic.

  “hey, whats up?” after not immediately receiving a response, he slid off his headphones and walked over to you. “you good?”

  with a sigh, you started. “yeah. just had a long day.”

  he moved forward and took you in his arms. “stressed out?” feeling you lightly nod against his chest, he spoke again. “you want me to end stream early? i’m not doing anything important.”

 “noooo. don’t end stream for me. it’s fine. i’ll hangout with patches or something.” you leaned backwards a bit, out of the hug. even though you wanted comfort, making sure you weren’t inconveniencing dream felt more important. he loved interacting with fans and you didn’t want to take that away from him. 

   “well, do you wanna sit with me? you could sit and my lap. we can be like a cute instagram couple.” he leaned towards you, holding your hands together.

  “... i don’t wanna bother chat. you’re talking to them and i don’t wanna be a bother.”

  “in what  world would you be a bother? you can just sit there, it’ll be fine.  besides, chat’s already been waiting like five minutes for me. they’ll survive.” he stared at you with puppy-dog eyes. “pleaseeeeeeee? for me?”

  looking to the side a bit, you gave in. “fine”.

  dream visibly brightened up, giving a little cheer, kissing you on the cheek. “yay!” he took you by your hands, dragging you over to his desk. He quickly sat down and pulled you into his lap.

  “you sure you want me to stay here? i’m fine to just hang out with patches.”

  “babe, while i’m sure patches would appreciate your presence, i would prefer it if you stayed with me. get comfy now, i’m about to unmute.” you moved around in his lap until you got in a comfortable position.

  he unmuted and began talking. “hey chat, had to go do something for a few minutes. let's restart the run…” his quiet, calming tone faded into the background noise. slowly, you began falling asleep.

  a few hours later, you woke up in bed. to your right, dream was sitting down doing something on his laptop with patches in his lap, running his fingers through your hair. after staring at him for a minute or so, you spoke up, “hey.”

  turning his head in shock, he smiled when his eyes landed on you. “hi. sleep well? feel better?”

  you nodded twice at him. “yeah. lay down with me. i wanna cuddle.”

  “heh. okay, bossy.” he laughed and moved the laptop to a bedside table. Patches jumped off his lap and to the food of the bed as he moved in a lying position.

  “thank you for moving me to the bed. i love you.”

  as he held you in his arms he responded. “i love you too.”

Ahhhh, so this is not good. Inquisitor lady found out about Luke. She might not be on Vader's side, but she's certainly not on Kenobi's side, either. She also knows who Owen is--that's an interesting weird coincidence that would only be possible in Star Wars XD

and that's a wrap! So overall, pretty good episode. We're finally getting plotlines wrapped up and seeing some payoff. I'm still not a huge fan of the amount of people getting stabbed in the gut and surviving while other people are shot in the gut and go straight down.

I was glad to see Haja again, and I look forward to the chance to study that wall with the signatures to see if there's anyone we know

I would have appreciated the trigger warning more on earlier episodes--this one was relatively mild compared to episode 3, in my view. People dying in a firefight is different from Vader killing innocent children in a random village. We did have Order 66 flashbacks, but we had those earlier, too, with no warning. So ultimately, I appreciated the trigger warning, but they really should have had that on all the other episodes, too.

I'm really curious to see how this gets resolved because Obi-Wan is like, almost willing to help out again? But he's still on Tatooine in A New Hope, and the rest of the Rebellion (including Rex) doesn't know about him. So. Something big's gonna happen in the finale
