… Hello, I hope it's not rude I'm just looking for drabbles or anything League of Legends since I'm in the mood to read the LoL fandom content after being away for a while…
Coincidentally when I found out about Heartsteel when I was watching anime edits with LoL songs and I was like WTH??! And an idea came up and now I'm hungry for some crackhead and platonic cuteness (For Yone + Yasu) and romance (for othe boys).
So can I please ask for headcannons or drabbles (you can choose which is easier) of the Heartsteel Boys (Kayn, Aphelios, Sett and Ezreal separately) having a crush on F! Reader who is a game streamer and is the little sister of Yone and Yasu who is the living example of Wife Material with an affectionate and bubbly cinnamon roll personality?
She likes to take care of her siblings even though she's the youngest (Yone and Yasu would kill if someone hurt her, good luck running away from them) and spoils them rotten! Are they both always busy and stressed with the whole band and Idol thing?
No problem, she, with her divine culinary skills, cooks their favorites or prepares them a lunch box with nutritious homemade food or brings them some snacks after an exhausting day of recording MVs and songs. (Sometimes she likes to deliver it in person, especially if they are showing hints of extreme exhaustion).
Sore muscles? Nah, her angelic hands know how to work and ease any tension and pain. Do they need a shoulder to vent on? Okay, she's there ready to listen and support her siblings and shower them with comfort and words of affirmation when they're on the verge of burning out.
Trouble sleeping and sleep schedule being a mess? Enjoy her divine voice when she sings and Yone and Yasu are out in seconds for a nice nap (Yasu looks dead when he naps on her lap, if it weren't for his noisy snoring while Yone looks like a cat almost purring when she massage his scalp with her fingers lmao) or a good night's sleep.
Need help with other household tasks? Fear not, she is ready to help! Do any conflicts or fights arise? She is a good mediator! Someone being a brat? Nah, she just needs to look strictly and sternly and that's enough for them to stop being brats and shut up.
But she's also the precious cinnamon roll who is the kind of cinnamon roll who can kick ass if someone is being toxic and mean to her brothers because when she's really mad it's not a pretty sight… (Yone and Yasu are secretly highkey traumatized from the first time she got really mad when they saw her pissed off frown when she threatened to beat up a bully who picked on Yasu when they were younger).
But also her brothers overworking themselves? Nuh-uh! Not when she's watching! She doesn't care if she's the youngest, she'll scold them as if she were the the oldest and they are going to listen to what she wants to say, willing or not!
(My lil brainrot bonus: Here was a time that everyone in True Damage saw Yasu who was kneeling on the floor in front of his little sister for fear of irritating her even more while still being scolded for over an hour for neglecting his health while he was running on energy drinks and fast food and messing with his sleeping schedule, she understands that he is part of a famous band but it doesn't stop her from saying 'I know how important music is to you, but for Heavens' sakes! Don't sacrifice your health Yasu! I don't want to receive the news that you passed out and I have to visit you in a hospital bed!')
Holy...this is a long request but also this was my reaction reading it
I've decided to do headcanons since I feel their easier to showcase all of their personalities (also decided to add platonic K'Sante)
Kayn
When he first saw you, he thought you were lame
You came on set to give Yone some food and he noticed how bubbly you were
But then he had a thought
You were kinda cute
So he nabbed some food from Yone
And laughed as you protested
Which got him an elbow between the ribs from you
Next day he was surprised to see you come to the shoot again, this time with food for all of them
Decided he needed you to be his wife
Started flirting with you mercilessly
Yone wasn't pleased
But you looked so cute flustered~
It was only to cover his own embarrassment tho
It's not his fault you're just perfect for him
A cute little thing for him to ruin ~
Aphelios
When he saw you, it was love at first sight
Like heart eyes all that jazz
Yone noticied
But honestly, he prefers him to for example Kayn
How could Phel not fall for you?
You were just perfect
Every time you came by to make sure Yone wasn't overworking himself, you were so sweet to him
Sometimes even bringing by food for him
He always thought he wasn't really the guy to fall in love
But there you were, making him all soft
Ezreal
You were just Yone's little sister, no one to be bothered about
But why did he feel so warm everytime you came over?
And you did often to check up on Yone
And Ezreal always thought you didn't mean much to him
But there he was, head over heels for you
And slowly realising it
And so was everyone else
The way he was stealing glances everytime you were busy with something
If looks could kill, he'd be dead
At least that's what he thought from the way Yone was glaring at him
Sett
At the begining, he didn't think much of you
You were just Yone's sister, someone who came over frequently but that was that
Untill he started noticing how you treated everyone
You were really kind, always bringing over something to eat and a shoulder to cry on
How could he not fall in love with you?
Yone's gonna kill him, but it's worth it
K'Sante
He met during an unfortunate situation
It was him finding out Aphelios replaced his protein powder with flour
He was furious
Almost killed Aphelios right in front of you
But you were a great meditator so you managed to make Aphelios live to see another day
And K'Sante gained a person to talk to
Since he's usually the one giving out advice, he has problems with opening up himself
But you were so nice to him and didn't push him at all so it became natural
Especially if you were staying for the night and he happened tobe grabbing a glass of water at the same time as you

Had a wonderful birthday, courtesy of family, friends and loved ones, and, of course, my dear, dear fandom friends who went out of their way to make this day an ultra-special one for me.
As someone who has recently joined fandom on Tumblr, I knew that there were so many talented artists and writers out there. As someone who has been writing on fanfic websites for over a decade, I did not expect to become part of a community that feels like family. Your warmth, kindness, encouragement and acts of simply creating things alongside me inspire me to even greater lengths!
I feel like my writing has been improving, my ideas flowing like a strong, clear river and my voice as a writer has certainly become more distinct. I have all of you precious, precious people to thank for that.
Once again, thank you to @tsukimefuku , @courtneedsleep , @actuallysaiyan , @kusakabesimp , @kentocalls , @jadedjane , @yasu-1234 and @mysteria157 for your beautiful, sweet messages.
Thanks to @cmdrfupa for that stunning poem that literally made me pause and put my phone away for a minute because I was so overwhelmed. Thank you, sweet one.
Thanks to @radish-breath , @traffi , @valleyofwater , @g00miato , @courtneedsleep and @jjk-eugie for the stunning art you drew as my birthday gifts, of Nanami, Taishiro (and Pompompurin!). I cannot even believe I received those priceless and beautiful gifts from you all and I will save and treasure them always!
This year has been a tough one for me. I've said that before. With friends and fellow-creators like these, though, walking this path beside me, my journey has been so much richer and full of life, colour and joy.
This has been a fantastic birthday.

With Sisters Like This...
Growing up, Y/N's relationship with her younger sister, Yasu, was a roller-coaster. Love and hatred intertwined so tightly, it was hard to to tell them apart.
When the girls were little, it was all giggles and secret sharing. However, as they grew into teenagers, everything changed, especially when a certain redhead speedster came into the picture. Chigiri Hyoma wasn't any guy; he was the one Y/N would end up marrying.
“Seriously, Y/N, you can't still be mad about that high school graduation thing, can you?” Yasu teased, trying to brush off one of their biggest fights in high school. It was naturally about Chigiri; she had tried to ask him out right after he'd asked Y/N. “Yasu, some things you just can't get over.” Y/N sighed. Y/N wasn't one to hold grudges, but it was that moment that marked the start of the sisters' strained relationship. Y/N and Yasu's family dynamics merely added fuel to the fire. With Yasu as Daddy's precious princess, their father automatically sided with his favoured daughter, while their mother tried to stay neutral; which usually meant siding with neither or just nodding in along with her husband.
Nishioka Hajime, one of Chigiri's Manshine City teammates and Yasu's new husband, was often the only buffer when things got too heated at the dinner table.
“Why can't you just see she's trying to stir things up again, Father?” Y/N turned to their father during a family dinner, frustrated by his blind spots. “Come off it, Y/N.” Yasu piped in. “You're just too sensitive.”
Fast forward to Y/N and Chigiri's wedding... It was supposed to the happiest time of Y/N's life, except that Y/N could not shake off her anxiety about Yasu's role in the wedding. Given their history, inviting her felt like inviting chaos. But Yasu was family and Nishioka was Chigiri's teammate. Despite their past, Y/N had hoped they could put it all behind them. However, as the wedding day drew near, Y/N could feel the growing tension of unspoken words and past grievances, especially when Chigiri informed both families about the decision for a small, intimate ceremony.
Yasu, on the other hand, wanted something grander and showier and started pressuring Y/N to hold the ceremony in the city hall, only to have Y/N stand her ground, insisting on a garden ceremony.
On the day of the wedding, Y/N was already in her wedding dress, the makeup artist putting on the final touches of the bride's makeup when Yasu walked in, her smile a little too tight.
“Need help with the dress, sister?” Yasu asked, her eyes flickering with an indescribable expression.
“Not really.” Y/N replied, turning back to the mirror.
At that moment, with a hushed tone that chilled the air, Yasu dropped her bombshell. “You know, Hyo-kun told me he's having second thoughts. He confessed he's in love with me; he wants to elope with me, just the two of us.”
Y/N steadied her breath, her reflection now looking every bit of a distressed bride. “Yasu, what are you talking about? If this is a joke...”
“This is not a joke, Y/N.” Yasu answered. “Why would I lie about something like this? And on your wedding day?”
“I need to hear this from Hyoma's mouth.” Y/N stood up.
“Sure.” Yasu grinned. “You can ask him. But do you want that kind of drama right now?” her eyes held a dangerous glint. “Think about it, Y/N. All of these people out there...”
“Then, let's clear this up right now.” Y/N pulled Yasu with her and headed out. “If what you say is true, Hyoma won't mind saying it right in front of everyone.”
“But...” Yasu faltered.
“You were the one who started this, little sister.” Y/N reminded.
“Everything okay?” Naoko, Y/N's best friend, approached the sisters.
“Just want to confirm something.” Y/N replied, walking over to Chigiri who was talking to the officiant at the arbour. Seeing the redhead's smitten look, Y/N realized Yasu's deceit; hurt that her sister would go this far.
“Hyoma,” Y/N pulled her husband-to-be aside. “Yasu has something interesting to share; about you two eloping.”
“What the...” Chigiri blinked in surprise. “Yasu, what did you tell her?”
“I just...” Yasu stammered. “I thought...”
“You thought what?” Y/N fired back. “That you could ruin this day for us?”
“Calm down, love.” Chigiri rested a hand on Y/N's wrist. “Yasu, there's nothing between us. I believe you own everyone here, especially Nishioka, an explanation.”
At that moment, Nishioka came in, the look of hurt was enough to tell Yasu that he had overheard the tail end of the conversation. “Yasu, just tell us what is going on. Why would you say something like that?”
“I thought it was true...” Yasu stammered.
“You thought or you hoped?” Y/N retorted.
“Nishioka, I'm sorry you had to find out this way.” Chigiri looked over at his teammate. “I had no idea Yasu would go this far.”
“This isn't just about today, Yasu.” Nishioka addressed his wife. “It's about every lie you spun. How many more are there?”
“Hajime, I...” Yasu's usual composure crumbled under the weight of her own deceit.
“Perhaps we should give them some space and continue with the ceremony.” the officiant stepped in.
With a nod, Chigiri clasped Y/N's hand in his and turned back to the alter.
The days following the wedding was tumultuous; Y/N's parents blamed her for the breakdown of Yasu's marriage and threatened to disown her if she didn't give Yasu what she wanted.
In response, Chigiri and Y/N started their married life in Europe.

Devil | JJK x Makima! Reader
Chapter 25
After a month of lazing around, alternating between tedious training and shopping sprees with Nobara using Satoru’s seemingly limitless funds, the itch for action had become unbearable. The thrill of solo missions, where you controlled every aspect and dictated the outcomes, was calling to you. It was time to confront Satoru and ask him to allow you solo missions once again.
You found him lounging in his usual spot, lazily flipping through a manga, his ever-present blindfold hiding any indication of seriousness. The sight almost made you roll your eyes. Almost.
“Gojo-sensei,” you began, your tone firm but measured.
He glanced up, a grin spreading across his face. “Y/n-chan! What can I do for my precious student? Need more pocket money to spend?”
“Not quite,” you replied. “I’m here to talk about missions. I want you to allow me again, I want you to lift the ‘ban’.”
His grin faded, replaced by a rare look of genuine concern. “You’re still recovering. It’s too soon for solo missions. Plus, I'm sure Yasu-san’s still tired of chaperoning you.”
“He does not! Yasu-san likes my company!’ You crossed your arms, determination hardening your features. “I’m more than ready. Sitting around doing nothing is driving me insane.”
Satoru leaned back, studying you with a mix of amusement and exasperation. “Y/n, it’s not just about being physically ready. You need to be cautious. The last thing we need is for you to get hurt because you rushed back in.”
You forced a smile, hiding the growing frustration. “I’m not some fragile flower, Sensei. It’s just a fever I recovered from for mere hours.”
He sighed, clearly weighing his options. “I know you’re strong, Y/n. But strength alone isn’t enough. There’s still a lot you need to learn, especially about patience.”
You resisted the urge to snap back. Instead, you took a deep breath, keeping your tone calm and measured. “Then at least let me go on missions with someone who won’t treat me like a porcelain doll. I can’t just stay in this bubble forever.”
Satoru raised an eyebrow, a slight smile playing on his lips. “You really are determined, aren’t you?”
You nodded, your eyes locked on his. “Yes..”
After a moment of silence, he finally spoke. “Alright, how about a compromise? You can go on missions, but you're going with my colleague, Kento Nanami. Nanamin’s one of the best, and you’ll learn a lot from him. Plus, I was planning to leave Yuuji with him for a while. I trust him to keep both of you safe.”
You considered the offer, a small smile tugging at your lips. It wasn't a solo mission, but it was a step in the right direction. And having the opportunity to spend time with your brother wasn’t the worst outcome.
“Fine,” you agreed. “I can work with that.”
Satoru’s grin returned, full force. “Great! I’ll let Nanamin know. He’ll be thrilled to have both Itadoris under his wing.”
“Thrilled, huh?”
-
“I won't be able to lead you this time,” Satoru said, walking beside Yuuji with a casual stride. Trailing behind them, your eyes roamed around the room, disinterested. “But don't worry. I've called in a friend you can trust.” Yuuji nodded, his expression a mixture of curiosity and concern. Satoru then opened a large, ornate door, immediately slinging his arm over the shoulder of the man standing inside.
“This is Kento Nanami, the ex-salaryman Jujutsu sorcerer!” Satoru announced enthusiastically. Kento, looking unimpressed but accustomed to Satoru's antics, offered a polite nod. You glanced at Kento, noting his distinctive appearance: eyes concealed behind sunglasses that lacked arms to wrap around his ears, giving him a sleek, unconventional look.
“Please don't call me that,” Kento said, his tone flat.
Kento was dressed in a formal business suit, consisting of a blue dress shirt beneath a tan blazer, matching slacks, and light shoes. The holster for his blunt sword was subtly attached to his dress shirt, hidden by the back of his blazer. His necktie sported the same dotted pattern as the bandages wrapped around his blunt sword, adding a touch of coordinated elegance to his appearance.
“Plenty of Jujutsu Sorcerers are oddballs, but since he worked for a company, he's got a good head on his shoulders,” Satoru explained, his arm still slung over Kento’s shoulder. “He's a first-grade sorcerer too.”
“I'm sure no one would want to hear you saying that about them,” Kento retorted, pushing Satoru's arm away and adjusting his sunglasses with a practiced motion.
“Ex-salaryman? Why didn't you become a jujutsu sorcerer from the start?” you asked, stepping up to stand beside Yuuji, your interest piqued.
“We should greet each other first,” Kento said, bowing slightly. “Nice to meet you, Itadori-”
“Y/n,” you insisted, interrupting him. “Call us Y/n and Yuuji.” You pointed at yourself and then at Yuuji.
“Nice to meet you, Y/n-chan, Yuuji-kun,” Kento corrected himself, prompting Yuuji to bow in return.
“Oh yeah, nice to meet you too,” Yuuji said, his voice friendly and eager.
“Please take care of us,” you added with a polite smile, bowing as well.
Kento placed a hand on his hip, his expression turning serious. “I studied at Jujutsu Tech, and one thing I learned…” He paused, his tone filling with disdain. “Is that jujutsu sorcerers ARE SHIT!” Your eyes widened in surprise, glancing at Satoru, who only responded with a playful wave. “Then I worked for a typical company, and one thing I learned is that work IS SHIT!”
“Really!?” Yuuji asked in disbelief, his eyes wide.
“If both are equally shit, I'll take the one I'm more suited to. That's the reason why I came back,” Kento explained.
“That’s dark,” you mumbled, exchanging a glance with Yuuji, who nodded in agreement.
“Yuuji-kun, Y/n-chan, please don’t believe I share the same mindset as Gojo-san,” Kento said, crossing his arms. “I trust and have faith in him,” he continued, as Satoru looked at both of you with a smug expression. “But I do not respect him!” he finished, making you chuckle. Satoru let out an exaggerated sigh.
“I hate the way the higher-ups do things, but I believe in rules and regulations,” Kento started to walk toward the door. You and Yuuji followed closely. “This conversation is dragging on,” he remarked, glancing at both of you. His gaze lingered on Yuuji. “In short, I don’t recognize Yuuji as a sorcerer either.”
“Huh?” you let out, your voice tinged with surprise and a hint of anger.
“Even if Yuuji does carry the bomb we know as Sukuna, please make an effort to prove that you are useful,” Kento said, his tone stern. Your polite smile wavered slightly.
“Nanami-san, Yuuji-chan has only been on one mission, but he managed to exorcise a special grade curse. He also saved everyone at our old school by swallowing Sukuna’s finger, preventing other curses from getting it. I appreciate your concern, but you're making it sound like my brother is Jujutsu Tech’s dead weight” you said coldly, your eyes narrowing.
“Imouto…” Yuuji shook his head at you, making you pause. “He’s right,” he added, looking at Kento. “Lately, I've been forced to realize how weak and useless I am. But I'll become strong. I have to be strong, or I won’t be able to choose how I die,” Yuuji declared, his tone filled with determination. “I’ll make you recognize me even without that advice. Just give me a bit more time.”
“No, say that to the higher-ups, not me,” Kento replied nonchalantly.
“Oh, right,” Yuuji said, a bead of sweat forming on his forehead.
“Frankly, I don’t care!” Kento added, his bluntness making you frustrated.
“Okay, I get it!” Yuuji said, placing a calming hand on your shoulder to stop you from reacting impulsively. It was clear this guy wasn’t thrilled to have both Itadori siblings under his wing at all.
-
You looked eerily calm as you glanced at the mangled bodies the forensics team was placing in the ambulance. The corpses were twisted in ways no human body should be. Closing your eyes, you tried to drown out the annoying sobs of the lady who sold movie tickets. Opting to go back inside the movie theater, you ducked under the police tape, walking toward Kento and your brother.
“Can you see it? This is the residual taint of cursed energy,” Kento asked Yuuji as they looked at the seats where the body had been earlier. Kento then pointed at the exit.
“Nope, I can't see anything—” Yuuji blurted out.
“That's because you're not trying to see it,” Kento explained, glancing at you as you approached them.
“I can't see it either, but I can smell it,” you said pointing at your nose, smiling politely at the blonde man.
“What? Really? What does it smell like?” your brother asked, astonished.
“Doesn't matter,” you dismissed, making Yuuji deadpan. Ever since Yuuji learned about your abilities, he realized how dismissive and lazy you were at explaining them. It was probably the reason you managed to hide them from him for years. He thought you were spacing out because you were lost in your own world. But that did not seem to be the case.
“We typically see curses as if it's perfectly natural. When a cursed technique is used, it leaves traces behind,” Kento explained. “That's what residuals are. But residuals are much fainter than cursed spirits. So please focus on your vision and look closely.” Kento encouraged, Yuuji placed his hands on the sides of his face, looking intently at the exit.
“Oh!” Yuuji said in excitement. “I can see them!” He laughed.
“Of course you can,” Kento said in an ‘obviously’ tone. “Sensing them before seeing is the standard for one who is capable.”
Yuuji deadpanned, disappointed. The three of you then began to walk out of the theater, ducking under the police tape.
“How about being a little more encouraging?” Yuuji asked Kento.
“I won't praise or insult you. I adhere to facts and judge on that basis. That is my way of doing things,” Kento explained, placing his hands in his pockets. “There was a time when I mistakenly believed that society operated the same way. But that’s a story for another time.” He added, “Let's follow the trace.”
“Yeah! Let's go all-out!” Yuuji said determinedly, placing his fist in his hand.
“No, we'll use moderate effort if that is what's required,” Kento added, making Yuuji deadpan again. “Let's go.”
The three of you followed the curse residuals, with you lazily trailing behind the two of them, walking up the stairs. ‘God, you hate the stairs.’
“There wasn't anything on the surveillance camera, right?” Yuuji asked Kento.
“There was only one young man aside from the victims,” Kento confirmed.
“So the curse spirit was behind it?” Yuuji asked.
“Well, most likely,” Nanami answered, reaching the door that led to the rooftop. Grabbing two umbrellas from the holder, Kento handed one to you and one to Yuuji. He then opened the door, as you and Yuuji walked behind him. “There's a small chance the young man could have done it,” Kento added, rain dropping on him and soaking his suit. “But identifying him is the police’s—”
Sensing something, you quickly glanced behind you, your eyes following the unsightly creature.
“Lunch… Lunch… Lunch… Lunchbox!” The creature repeatedly muttered. Curses shouldn't be able to speak at all, unless they are special grades or higher. Pointing your index finger at it, about to let out a small ‘bang,’ but Kento stopped you.
“I'll take care of that one,” Kento said. “Both of you handle the one over there.” He added as Yuuji threw his umbrella aside. Both you and Yuuji glanced where Nanami was pointing, seeing two curses: one white with vertical teeth and another orange, tears streaming down its face. Both equally unsightly.
“If you feel like any of you are in trouble, please tell me,” Kento added, making you sigh in irritation.
“We're not weak,” you muttered, gripping the umbrella.
“Have some faith in us, will you?” Yuuji added.
“It's not a matter of being weak or having faith,” Kento answered, unclipping his blazer and fixing his tie to unrestrict his movement. “I am an adult, and both of you are children. I have an obligation to prioritize your lives over my own.” You briefly glanced at Kento, who was approaching the curse muttering ‘lunchbox.’ The way he insisted that you were a child almost reminded you of your old teacher. Almost.
“I'd rather be underestimated than be treated like a child,” Yuuji said beside you, standing in his fighting stance.
“You've faced multiple life and death situations. But that does not make you an adult,” Kento answered, pulling out his cursed weapon. “Finding more and more fallen-out hairs on your pillow. Your local store no longer has your favorite bread. Experiencing little losses like these is what makes people grow into adults.” Kento then pointed his weapon at the curse. Still lost in thought, the orange curse went on to attack you, causing Yuuji to panic, but Pochita quickly emerged from you, punching the curse away. Not enough to exorcize it but enough to push it away.
“Pochita,” you sighed in annoyance. “I told you not to meddle in my business unless I told you so, didn’t I?” you added, as Pochita whimpered and receded back. You closed your umbrella and focused, soon after your head morphed into a demonic, mechanical shape with long, jagged fangs and a chainsaw handle on the back. Large chainsaws emerged from your forehead, and arms.
Ever since your training for the exchange event, your close combat skills have gradually increased, giving you the opportunity to use the abilities of those you control. While it only lasted for a few minutes at best due to the drawbacks such as blood loss, having a weapon you could immediately use was very useful.
This also decreased the need for you to constantly carry a cursed weapon.
Yuuji glanced at your form, despite already knowing this ability of yours, because you showed it to him a few weeks earlier while he was still training with Satoru. He couldn't help but feel unnerved by the sight but also couldn't help but admire the way you stood with confidence and a hint of cockiness.
“You're so cool, Y/n-chan,” he added, before focusing his attention on the white cursed spirit. You went on to attack the orange cursed spirit, Kento’s lecture muted out as your focus was solely on the opponent in front of you.
As the rain poured down, you launched yourself at the orange curse spirit with a confident smirk. Your chainsaw roared to life, cutting through the air with a deafening sound. The curse screeched, its grotesque form twisting in an attempt to dodge your attack. You moved with a lazy precision, each swing of your chainsaw calculated to maximize damage with minimal effort.
The orange curse lunged at you, its grotesque limbs flailing wildly. You sidestepped effortlessly, your chainsaw carving through its arm with ease. Blood sprayed, mixing with the rain as the curse howled in pain.
Meanwhile, Yuuji engaged the white curse spirit. His fists moved in a blur, each punch landing with a resounding impact. Despite his apparent enthusiasm, you could tell he was focused, determined to prove himself. He dodged a swipe from the curse’s vertical teeth and retaliated with a powerful kick, sending the creature stumbling back.
“Stay focused, Yuuji,” you called out, your tone both commanding and dismissive. “Don't let it overwhelm you.”
“Got it!” Yuuji replied, a determined grin on his face.
As the orange curse spirit recovered, you narrowed your eyes, sensing its next move. It charged at you, but you were ready. With a swift motion, you brought your chainsaw down, slicing through its torso. The curse’s body split apart, leaving it limp on the ground.
“Too easy,” you muttered, smirking widely as the chainsaw retracted back, wiping off the blood gushing from your nose.
You glanced over to see Yuuji finishing off the white curse spirit with a powerful punch that shattered its head. His excitement was palpable, his energy infectious.
“N/n! N/!, Have you seen my new moves?” Yuuji exclaimed, punching the air with enthusiasm as his cursed energy slowly dispersed.
“Hmm, I did.” You nodded, a small smile playing on your lips at his excitement.
“Were you two listening?” Kento asked, having effortlessly dispatched the curse he faced. He walked over to the two of you, adjusting his tie as if the rain soaking his suit was of no consequence.
“Huh?” Both you and Yuuji looked at him in unison, confusion mirrored in your expressions. Kento only deadpanned, his usual stoic demeanor unwavering.
Glancing back at the orange and white curses, you noticed them twitching again. Sighing in annoyance, you raised your index finger, preparing to finish them off, already unable to borrow Pochita's ability due to being at your limit.
“Sorry, I'll finish this off—” you began, but Kento cut you off.
“Y/n, don't finish it off yet!” he ordered, making you look at him in confusion. Kento approached the two of you, showing you his phone with a photo of the curse on it. “I took a photo of my opponent.”
“What? I thought cursed spirits didn't show up in photos,” Yuuji said, clearly confused.
Curses aren't supposed to be seen by ordinary humans, much less by cellphones. Realization dawned on you, an almost sadistic smile crawled up your face.
‘Such a fascinating cursed technique,’ you thought to yourself, your face in shock, a flicker of desire sparking within you. ‘It's almost as if I want it for myself.’
“Please stay calm and listen,” Kento said, placing a hand on your shoulder, mistaking your sudden quietness for shock. “What we've been fighting…”
You leaned in, your interest piqued. “Go on,” you urged, your eyes glinting with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation.
-
“Yes, they are humans.” Shoko's voice blared from the phone. “No, more like we're humans,” she continued as you intently listened, your eyes locked on Kento's phone on the coffee table. Kento handed you and Yuuji a towel, muttering a small thank you as he did.
“The same as the three from the theater. Their bodies were forcibly altered by a curse technique,” Shoko explained.
“If that was all, I would have noticed at the start. The two we fought possessed curse energy, like cursed spirits,” Kento said, sitting down on the sofa at the side. Glancing at your brother, you sighed a bit at the guilt displayed on his face.
‘He’s too nice,’ you thought to yourself as you placed a hand on his back. ‘Even we knew back then. There's no way we'd be able to save these supposedly humans.’
“You have to ask the culprit about their technique to explain that,” Shoko said. “Though there is evidence that their brain stems were tampered with. Most likely to create a state of confusion and impaired consciousness.”
“Yuuji,” you quietly muttered, your attention already away from the phone. He did not answer but he leaned his head to yours. Unsure of what to say, you kept quiet, not minding the dampness of his body against yours.
“If they can manipulate the brain, it might be possible for them to give cursed energy to humans. The connection between the brain and curse energy is still a black box to us,” Shoko continued.
“Are Y/n and Yuuji listening?” Shoko asked. Yuuji only muttered a small "yes" in response.
“To sum it up, these guys died of shock from having their bodies modified.” Despite the monotonous tone, a hint of reassurance was in it. “You two did not kill them. Don't you two dare think otherwise.”
“Right,” Yuuji muttered as Kento ended the call. “Either way, the gravity of that is the same to me. But still, this…” His grip on the towel tightened. “This isn't right!”
Lightly pushing your brother's weight off your own, you stood up from the sofa and glanced at the window. The rain continued to pour outside, mirroring the heaviness in the room.
“Yuuji, we can't change what happened,” you said softly, also carefully— not wanting to upset your brother even more. “But we can make sure it doesn't happen again right?”
Yuuji looked at you, his eyes filled with a mix of determination and sorrow. “I know, N/n. But how do we fight against someone who can do this? Turn people into… into these things?”
You took a deep breath, trying to maintain your composure. “By understanding our enemy and their techniques. I know a bit about modification but we can't be sure if our techniques are entirely the same. We need to be prepared for anything.” You paused, looking at him earnestly. “We’ll get stronger, Yuuji. Together.”
Yuuji nodded, a small smile forming on his lips. “Together,” he echoed, the warmth of his smile offering a moment of solace amidst the chaos.
Kento, who had been silently observing, interjected with a steely resolve. “Those residuals were a bluff, likely meant to lure us in. Our foe is quite skilled,” he said, his tone carrying an undercurrent of respect for the opponent's cunning. He stood up, adjusting his suit with a sense of purpose. “It looks like this will take more than moderate effort. So let's go all out!”
Yuuji looked up at Kento with admiration, his smile widening and determination solidifying in his gaze. “Right!” he added, his voice full of resolve.

endnotes: I really really hate referring to Nanami using his first name but I have a first name only format when nararating characters and it pisses me off if I break that format. (Also if I had any mistakes, please tell me okeh, smtmes I get first names and last names mixed up. Also do y'all want me to write a character profile for Y/n? Just in case any of y'all are confused with her abilities.
Also I'm so close to downloading those fucking dating apps just to look for a dzaddy. Funny story actually, one of my guy classmate (that I never talk to because I'm a socially inept loser that stammers when strangers talk to me) saw my fucking TINDER profile. He was yapping about how unexpecting it is for me to be there blah blah blah. Lil that bitch knows I write smut in my TUMBLR and overall a chaotic person in the net LMFAOOO.
Anyways I love you all guys. Hope y'all are having a nice day/evening!

natsuhi, eva, and rosa had ideals of who their children should be, so they wouldn't suffer from the same childhood trauma as their mothers. yasu's "children" were created in the same way.
the cousins became their own people beyond these expectations, even if it was in defiance of their own mothers' original wishes. so it's the same for shannon, kanon, and beatrice, who all grew past than their purpose, their reason for living as yasu originally created them.
shannon's original role was to be yasu's friend. however, shannon wasn't made just to be yasu's unique and best friend...shannon was supposed to be perfect, and loved by everyone.
but shannon becomes her own person, accepting her own imperfections as "furniture" without condemning herself for it. and instead of striving to be loved by everyone...she chose to love and be loved by one person.
even if it meant destroying all of her other precious relationships. she was made for everyone, but ended up living for one person.
kanon was originally made to be the other half of shannon's universe. an emotional support little brother, and not just in a wholly positive way. he was also created to cope with many of yasu's negative feelings about her life, including her perception of her own womanhood.
kanon could voice his displeasure at others, and at the world. he could be a lone wolf and not care about others and how they perceived him. as long as he supported shannon, he didn't need anything else of his own. not exactly someone who designed with his own interiority...
kanon was not supposed to want anything for himself - to actually want to try living in the world, as a human. but then, inspired by jessica and encouraged by her to try to value himself...in the end, he's the one who wants the most to become his own person
even if kanon doesn't know what exactly he wants to become, he wants the chance to try, and establish his own sense of self and individuality. he was made for one person, but ended up living for himself.
beatrice was born as a receptacle for yasu's unrequited love for battler. however, yasu was only "allowing" beatrice to know what love was, with the understanding that beatrice was just "holding onto" her feelings. the love could be given back to yasu, whenever she felt like it
beatrice was born as someone to love battler...but not someone who was meant to be loved in return. she wasn't someone who was ever meant to be part of a universe of two, and thus, someone who could not be acknowledged or understood.
for the rokkenjima massacre, yasu ends up not choosing between shannon or kanon. by that time, both of her creations had grown into people with their own wants rather than just her ideal of a way to live. they had dreams of futures they wanted for themselves
in the end, the gamble fell to beatrice, the only one who was "incomplete" and not "real", who was not her own person because she didn't have the other half of her universe of two, who inspired her to grow past her original purpose. the only one without a future...
beatrice was made as someone to experience the pain of love, and not to be loved in return. but then, battler loves her and understands her. everyone believes in her, and made her golden land real, for eternity. in the end, with love, beatrice "exists"

happy new year from renata (pt. 2)
It's the end of the year 2022 and honestly? Fuck this year from the bottom of my heart in terms of jobs, real life, and all of that bullshit. But you know what made this year bearable and actually survivable? My friends. It's been a tough year for everyone who I've known and I want to extend my hugs, my love and my adoration for every single one of you. You're amazing, you're powerful, and I hope that your 2023 will be a fantastic year.
There are many people who I want to give a shout-out for being the amazing beans that you are. I love you all and you are absolutely gorgeous. There are some people who I want to give some heart-to-heart special messages because all of these people helped me survive this year of 2022 and I cannot thank all of you enough for this.
FUN FACT, THIS POST BROKE TUMBLR FOUR TIMES FOR ME. So this is Part 2 wit the same beginning but tumblr just denied me posting the whole post lmao.
❤ @heincus / Max — Duuuuuude, oh my god, we really just cried about Flamechasers for so long, huh? I love it. You are a creative whirlpool, Max, I admire your creativity and your passion for all of your muses. You are fucking amazing for sticking with them and developing them. And your art? Your art is so fucking good, never stop pursuing that passion of yours because it's gorgeous. Listen, you know I'm biased for Kalpas and Hokori, but in the year 2023 we better throw more characters at each other! Well, I'll throw Zarina at more of ur ocs haha.
❤ @merotm / @cryosewn / Guin — I know that I've been so all over the place when it comes to talk, but I want to tell you that you're amazing for your creativity and for your in-depth research. Be it Caiying or Yuuna, I love how you write your female characters: they are strong, vibrant, and they are unapologetic. They are also so different and I love, love, love them. I remember how we've met in the FE fandom and I'm just so glad we met again!!
❤ @eraba-reta-unmei / @maledictus-maleficus / Everi — MY MUSIC BRAIN CELL SOULMATE OH MY GOD, Everi you and I just really be sharing one galaxy brain when it comes to music, huh? I love it, I love it so much. I appreciate you so much. Be it Miya or Ayden, Zarina also adores them a whole lot even if she makes Miya sigh so many times. You are one of the people who helped me become more comfortable writing my own original oc and thank u for that. Love you!
❤ @sheyearns / Felicia — Feli~ I know we don't talk much anymore because I'm just all over the place and I just zone out a lot, but I always think of you and I'm so excited to see your twitter feed when you play games and see all of your comments. You're a sweetheart and have always been a sweetheart. Love you tons and miss you a lot!
❤ @straye / Yin — Yin, I told you how detailed you are about the social studies and your in-depth study of your characters. I love, love, love how you dive deep into your characters and how you choose your words. It's such a treat to speak with you, scream with you, and just be chill. I'm so glad that I decided to follow you because I was so nervous at first, but look at us now! We're screaming about our characters, discussing different things, and it's just sick. I hope that in 2023 we'll have even more interactions and just have a ton of fun!
❤ @lunaetis / Hina — Hina, we've known and followed each other for so long. I want to thank you for your support and your inspiration. Thank you for always interacting with Zarina and thank you for leaving such sweet comments, always. Your consistent and creative writing style is something I've always admired and the words you choose re so beautiful. I wanted to ask you how do you reach this style and what do you read, but that'll be a question for 2023, haha. Not only that, but I'm so excited about your Lumine and Zarina plots. I'll send them over and I'm just so excited to write more with you!
❤ @itorisen / Yasu — My precious Yasu, the creator of the absolute unit that is Koto Unkaku. I always wanted to tell you how colorful your muses are (just like ur amazing icons and theme). I remember how we were interacting on Cardia and you were writing Zeno, I still cry about that to this day. I also love, love, love how unapologetic Koto is about being herself: the fire, the power, the strength. I love her and I love you so much. It always makes me laugh when Koto and Zarina interact, too, it's always such a treat. ;)
❤ @al-hazen / Calis — Calis!! We've only met this year but thank you so much for being open and honest with all your opinions on the dash. I love how you write Itto, Shinobu, and Al-Haytham. You bring such a unique and different portrayal that dives so deep into each of their respective themes and you make them so different. I love it, I love it so fucking much it's so fun to read your metas and thank you for always reading my metas too. I appreciate it so much, I'm always so nervous about writing too much but thank you for always being here. Here is to more interactions in 2023!!
❤ @scarlxtleaves / Jay — Oh my god, Jay, you're an absolute unit, you know that? The amount of creativity and writing stored in you is akin to a whole universe within you. I know we haven't talked in a while, but I always think about our talks and I love seeing you on my dash. Sinrina and Ganyuha will forever by my OTPs and I really should send Zarina your other muses ways! I hope that your end of the year wasn't too chaotic and I hope that your 2023 will be a delightful time!
But that's not all!! There are so many more amazing people I've met, and I've been loving on my dash throughout 2022 and even more before that! Thank you so much for being such a bright presence in my life and thank you for being so passionate about what you are all doing. Some of you I've met at the end of 2022 and some of you I've met in the beginning of 2022, but all of you are stars and I love and I hope your 2023 will be absolutely sparkling and wonderful!

I'm surrounded by so many talented people and just one post will not fit all of the people I'm following and who inspire me. If you're not here, please, know that I love you and you're fucking amazing. I'm just a funny scatterbrained ADHD writer who is actually crying at this point because there are so many fantastic people here and that I've known for years and who I've just met in 2022. Thank you all so much for being here and for loving Zarina.
Happy New Year! Bye 2022 and hello to 2023!

Beltipvans wedding but mer AU!
Seawitch Dio: "What are you doing to my beautiful foreboding shipwreck?!"
Octo-Yasu: (hanging up colorful decor with his many arms) "Just spicing up the place!"
Mer!Jonathan: (since apparently in the sims verse he has a body again) "It's great to be a mer again! How I missed my lovely tail!" *swims in circles happily*
Mer! Bel: "A toast to us newlyweds, may our love endure as long as the sea!" *tries to pour a bottle of wine into a glass but it just disperses into the water*
Mer!Vanilla: "We're underwater. Drinking doesn't work here."
Mer! Tippy: *hugs Vanilla* "Give us a hug, big guy!"
(Vanilla coils his tail around both Tippy and Bel)
Mer!Vanilla: *chuckles* "How can I ever refuse you, my precious little mer-mite?"
Hol Seahorse: *swims over* "I must admit! Look how nicely you've decorated this otherwise dreary place!"
Blind cave-fish Mer! N'doul: "Don't tell me to look."
Seawitch Dio: *sulking* "BUT I LIKED IT DREARY!"
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! 🫶 Blind cave fish N'Doul sounds so freaking cool too!!

Sometimes Others Have Pain
Two very good friends (one of them a very close friend to my heart and has been ever since day one), called it quits on their time together today and my head is spinning around so much that I felt I needed to write. It won't be anything describing who they are or what happened, but more writing a parallel to characters in one of my favorite novels: Nana. It seems right and maybe these words will help ease the pain of my Moon Princess.
In the manga Nana, Hatchi and Takumi get together because Hatchi is a very lonely girl who wants nothing more than to be loved and taken care of. Takumi is rather narcissistic and tends to use women more for their bodies than for anything else. When situations cause a change in Takumi, he is forced to become a stronger man in order to take care of Hatchi. Old habits die hard however and Hatchi is left to raise a little girl alone while her husband travels the world with his band and finally gives into his feelings for Reira, the singer of the group. But that is his nature and now that I'm older, I don't hate him for his actions. More, I chastise him for his weakness and for his inability to see what had been right in front of him all along and not coming clean with his wife when he really should have. As for Hatchi, she made a decision both for herself and for her child, and in the end we really don't know if she regrets it. But as there seems to be some sort of understanding between her and Takumi in later years, I'm going to take a stand and say she wouldn't trade her decision for one second.
Getting away from Takumi and Hatchi, there is also the matter of Nobu and Hatchi. Nobu is a gentle boy who only wants to play music and find the love of a good woman. For a while Hatchi seems to fulfill that role, but when a misunderstanding occurs and the two fall quickly in and out of love the situation becomes muddy. In the end Nobu is left to his own devices. Floating in a sea of uncertainly, until Miyu comes along to take up residence in his heart. She is a sultry vixen, a total opposite of Hatchi herself, but she is kind but it is unclear in the future whether or not she was able to keep Nobu's heart.
The there is Nana herself. In love with Ren, but unwilling to give up her dreams of stardom they are torn apart as their bands duke it out to be the top selling artists in Toyko. Back in her small hometown she and Ren shared a kind of quiet romance. The kind that can only blossom when the noise of the city and the press of the crowd are nowhere to be seen. But when Ren leaves, Nana is left to her own devices. And when they get back together in the big city all is not as it was before and the love between them starts to wane. Nana finds herself spending more time with Yasu and Ren finds he is more comfortable on a best friend kick with Reira. The change these two undergo for one another makes the tragedy even more heart breaking in the end. The moral of the story here being, the ones we love are so precious. Don't let them slip from your fingers because you never know what the future holds.

bark, a dog barks loudly, making sender jump and send their phone flying into receiver's face. [ with Yasu bc .. Ghost & Angel symbolism] // @asea0fmxses
well , it wasn't exactly to say that mari was paying attention to her surroundings in the first place . she had been cooped up in her thoughts , trying to make heads and tails on how to get out of the night raven college , but she felt so alone , and she couldn't think of anything --
mari couldn't even hear the dog barking , nor did she ever notice there was someone in front of her , until , ultimately , a device flew right into her face . and if not for her instincts , perhaps it would've fallen to the ground .
hand moved to rub at her forehead , before looking over what she assumed was one of those ... cellular devices . then she looked at the person before her , and a gentle smile graced her face .
" ah , lucky catch , huh ? " she chuckled , extending her hands that held the device towards the stranger , holding it as if it was so precious . " if i wasn't here , it would've gotten damaged . "

rereading the shannon vs beatrice ep2 scene and yes it hurts so bad from a yasu/mystery reading with her issues with dysphoria and sex and never being able to accomplish socially acceptable "love" aka het piv sex, and how that ties into her lack of self-worth and belief she'll never be loved or accepted for something out of her control
but also the scene is so painful from a magic reading? when i initially read it, i was confident that beatrice was a sexual assault victim because of how she talks about men, love, and lust, and how disgusting it all is. that can easily be read as her response to kinzo and what he did to the beatrices, especially beatrice ii, by imprisoning and raping them in the name of "love."
of course beatrice is angry at shannon talking about how the love between her and george is beautiful and should be cherished/protected, when kinzo (arguably) killed dozens of people and (undeniably) imprisoned beatrice for decades and raped her because of his love.
and the extra layers because george, the man whose love for shannon is being upheld by the narrative as something sacred and precious, is literally that man's grandson. it's just a matter of time, beatrice says. the sin flows in their blood.
oftentimes the fantasy readings of scenes are more comforting or happier, but mmm in this one i'd say they are equally painful, just in very different ways

Yasu the ultimate Angel&Devil&TORN shipper
[Koko Ni, GR8EST DVD spoilers, you’re warned]
Ryo just nods after receiving specific orders from Yasu:
Ryo feigning indifference while getting closer to the (oblivious) target:
Little angel Yasu (and Maru) openly enjoying the show:
Ryochan denying the truth (aka wishing to die from embarrassment)
... and then acting like the ultimate cutie in love:
Yeah, Ryochan, we noticed you glimpsed at your (still oblivious) sweetheart but please don’t worry: he didn’t notice. No one will ever know about you having a soft spot for him. Don’t worry.
Awww that cuteness. Seriously, what would we do without Yasu?!
Bless you, Yasu, always, for coming into this world and being a cute little (slightly evil, but for your friends’ sake) angel.
