2024 Megaman Summer Fanart Contest - Category 1 Results!

Sorry for the delay, but without further ado, here come this year's wonderful creations and our winners. Thank you all for your patience! Due to both the number of entries and the amount of reference images I'll be attaching here, I will have to make a separate post for the humor (Cat. 2) results. Please check that out here as well, after I post this! All winners will be contacted shortly.

CATEGORY 1 (Talent): Pallette Pastiche

The talent category this year focused on creating a parody or imitation of a famous work of art by using Mega Man characters in the place of what was originally drawn. Didn't have to be a well-known famous piece, but still had to reference some piece of art, regardless. And you all certainly made both Ms. Museum Curator and myself proud! It was very hard to choose placement, let alone who would make the Top 3. Plenty of fantastic character choices to match the vibe of the original pieces. For the full gallery of pics, click here. Sylviidaee's reference was Michelangelo's Renaissance piece, "The Creation of Adam."

The shading and detail in your painting efforts for this piece are remarkable! Flawlessly fitting in each Robot Master, along with Blues and Roll, to represent the angels, worked out great. This pic deserves to be a featured museum piece, with replicas hanging in the homes of every Megaman fan!

2.) @purplerubyred [Pic] (*$100 USD Prize Winner!)

Ruby's reference was the cover of the Capcom Design Works artbook, by Kinu Nishimura.

Just even attempting to replicate the sheer amount of characters in this piece had to be an enormous undertaking, and I commend you for spending part of your August month of Elec Man love crafting this! There is so much to take in with this piece, with all the various versions of Elec Man and his related family. From background locations like MaHa Ichiban to the super great white angel/devil chip artwork on the railcar window, there are tons of little cameos to catch as you look across this art. Wonderful job!

3.) @DWN-059 [Pic] (*$75 USD Prize Winner!)

Beebs' reference was Rococo artist Jean-Honoré Fragonard's "The Swing."

While the lush forested background draws my attention for it's whimsical beauty, and huge amount of detail, I loved the little touches you brought to make this have a Mega Man feel. Such as the Guts Man and Anko statues to replace the angels, and adding the cute 'lil Friender. While Planty can't kick off his boots, the Plant Barrier petals were a perfect replacement for the shoe. Beautifully and accurately painted! _____________________________

Nothing more 'gothic' than a guy obsessed with skulls, building dark, brooding, black-clad robots, owning a homely Skull Castle with tall walls and large windows, am I right? Bass with the daughter's glare is actually rather fitting here, as well! XD Now, if Wily always carried around that pitchfork, wouldn't he be able to defeat Mega Man a lot easier, on account of sharp points?

AW-Colorcat's reference was a piece by seafh that was used as a popular Youtube BG image back in the 2010s for the Nightcore (sped up version/remix) version of the song "Angel with a Shotgun."

The bullet holes through the single wing sure makes it look like Mega Man has gone *pew pew pew* through it. But I think an angel with an all-powerful Metal Blade could be a little more deadly accurate.

Tabby's reference was Auguste Rodin's sculpture, "The Thinker." (To which, somewhere out there, Sigma Posting is ready to dub it "The Sig-ker.")

Contemplating his status as the most advanced Reploid of his time, his next strategic action against the Maverick Hunters, or how to change/destroy the world? Sigma certainly could be looked at as someone who could be rather philosophical and get deep in thought. And wouldn't be afraid to show off artwork of himself in his fortress. Hatching detail is nice, and helps give that statuesque, worn and chiseled feel.

Ivo's reference was Impressionist Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida's, "Italian Girl with Flowers."

Fantastic job at replicating the paint on canvas look, I truly can't tell if this is just a digital filter or if you physically painted it! Extending the green curls of hair outside of his helmet helped mimic the girl's original hairstyle even more. Really pretty, and his color pops nicely against the smaller flowers he's enjoying!

JazzmanZ's reference was Roy Lichtenstein's Pop art painting, "Stepping Out."

Steppin' out to fight Doc Wily tonight! Honestly amused at how just a few little line alterations were needed to easily transform this couple into Rock and Roll. Like the little nose bridge line above his eye easily morphing into the peak of Mega Man's helmet. Excellent eye for parody in choosing this. No Roll, I didn't mean anything by that...

NightopianFoxGirl's reference was "Circe Invidiosa," from Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood artist John William Waterhouse.

Another brilliant choice in characters having Iris represent Circe, who was known for turning her enemies into animals. And having the Cybeast duo of Greiga and Faltzer as the sea monster beneath her connects to the allegory of her role in the Beast anime with the Synchronizer, Trill. She too probably wants to poison/destroy the beasts, and can be seen as a bit of a tragic figure herself.

Puyonlilah's reference was the Romanticism era painting "Ophelia," by Sir John Everett Millais.

Yet another tragic take, with the X version of Iris filling the role of Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet, who is seen singing before she drowns herself in the river. Forgive her Zero, she just wanted to live in a world where only Reploids exist! You certainly portrayed the grief and emotional stress on Iris' face nicely, as well as the effect of her barely keeping afloat, with the water ripples.

Ryan's reference was Romanticist artist Caspar David Friedrich's painting, "Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog."

In a world covered by endless water, there's bound to be days of endless fog affecting your sightline, aren't there? Very nice contrast of light and dark in your colors. There's something that just feels so fitting for Mega Man to be looking out from on high, to give a sense of adventure, venturing into the unknown, or even alluding to X looking off the cliff during X1's ending. How long will he keep on fighting? Maybe only the buster on his hand knows for sure...

Tori's reference was Leonardo Da Vinci's famous Renaissance painting, "The Mona Lisa."

Miss Tori got the most important thing right in her parody by making sure The Rolla Lisa had no eyebrows, because those have disappeared from the painting over time. Roll's green bow stands out in her hair even more with the beautiful green forest in the background. Wonderful job getting her pose and that slight, mischievous smile on her face to match the original!

Ichigang and their Animal Crossing Islands

Currently spamming the Dondoko Island mini-game and it’s giving me ultimate Animal Crossing vibes, so here’s headcanons on the Ichigang and their Animal Crossing: NH islands. Short and sweet cos it’s kind of a dumb idea ✨

Also I’ve got my last few requests drafted and hopefully ready to post soon, so if you wanna send in some more headcanon requests please doooo, I could do with the inspo 💕

Ichiban:

Ichi’s island would be pretty chaotic, to be honest. There’s just random items dropped all over the island, from where his pockets got too full, or he’ll even just intentionally place random pieces of furniture somewhere and thinks it looks great, but it does not.

Hasn’t quite got the hang of landscaping or terraforming, so there’s just random cliffs and rivers/ponds dotted about everywhere. The layout makes no sense.

He probably has his character dressed up in a hero costume or outfit.

Also gets very attached to his villagers, and nearly cries when one of them even suggests moving away.

Nanba:

Does not care about his island at all, and couldn’t give a shit about what it looks like. There’s just weeds and buried fossils everywhere, and his house is still un-decorated.

Never interacts with his villagers, but does think it’s funny when he accidentally hits them over the head with the bug net when hunting creepy crawlies.

Speaking of catching bugs, he is surprisingly into the bug hunting and fishing. He has probably caught almost all of them, and visits the museum daily to just admire his collection.

Took him ages to catch the scorpion, as it kept stinging him. He almost rage quit the game.

Adachi:

He literally has no idea what he is doing. He’s terrible at the game. His island is full of weeds, and his fish, bug, fossil and art collection is almost non-existent.

He likely started the game, got confused and switched it off, and forgot about it for ages. When he eventually did log back on, his house was infested with cockroaches, and he just never bothered to get rid of them.

Sometimes visits Nanba’s island, and their characters just chill in the museum together watching all the critters and fishes.

Saeko:

Saeko has the prettiest, most aesthetic island ever. It’s full of flowers, is so organised, and probably has a full on theme that she closely follows. She has fully upgraded her house, and all the furniture and rooms match perfectly.

She honestly gets so offended when an ‘ugly’ villager moves in, and she immediately kicks them out.

Her museum collection isn’t that full, as she sells all of her fishes, bugs, etc. Her priority is earning bells, so she can buy decorations and furniture for her island, and make it as pretty as possible.

Joon-Gi:

The most stylish Animal Crossing character you have ever seen. He changes his outfit every day, and chooses his characters clothes so carefully. His entire island and home is also very aesthetic, and he’s secretly very proud of it.

Joon-Gi has likely almost completed all the fishing, fossil and bug collections, but he keeps getting ripped off by Redd with the artwork. He gets so mad when it happens and Blathers declines his donation.

He would actually be pretty good at the game, and is always so smug when people visit his Island and are blown away by how it looks.

Zhao:

He has purposely made both his island and his character look dumb as fuck, because he finds it funny. He also keeps all the ‘ugly’ villagers, to match the silly vibes.

Follows his villagers around and hits them over the head with the bug net until they get mad at him. He finds it hilarious.

Visits his friends islands and quotes memes or writes funny yet rude messages on their notice boards, but doesn’t tell them. He waits for them to find the messages themselves. It could be a few days to a week later, and he’d get a message from one of his friends like ‘why did you leave this on my noticeboard you weirdo’. Both Joon-Gi and Saeko have banned him from visiting their aesthetic and organised islands because of this.

my favorite part of certain minigames in this series is just seeing how pumped and happy the protagonists are after the fact. seeing kiryu looks so proud of himself after a pocket circuit race. seeing yagami pop off after a drone race. seeing ichiban basically go "hell yeah" as he pumps his fist. it's the small things that make these characters so lovable, y'know?

Leo's favourite vocaloid is Miku because he's so normie, but also sooooo normal about it. Like, he went "that's my oshii!!" when she sekaiide'd all over his ichiban ohime-sama. This guy 100% gets into Magical Mirai in full Miku cosplay, he already knows all the light stick dances. He's wielding 2 sticks in each hand. He memorized the fan chants. That's his oshii and he will die for Miku.

Mikey likes Iroha for the express purpose of her being a cat. Not only is she a cat, Iroha is the Hello Kitty vocaloid and that, on principle, is hilarious. Klunk would be so proud of him for saying his fav is "the cat one" of she could talk.

Raph would say he doesn't have a favorite vocaloid but frame one of a Giga song will tell you enough about how much he likes Rin and Len. Mostly because Giga has godly tuning and every single song this man creates is an absolute BANGER. He also loses his mind when Kairiki Bear drops a new song. Him and Donnie love playing the game of "find the sparkle sound effect". Donnie always beats him to it though.

And Donnie. Donnie, Donnie, Donnie...his absolutely cursed ass loves flower. Sure she sounds like a bunch of nails getting thrown into a blender while gargling rocks.......but she ourple. And that's enough for him.

Wip, spoilers for infinite wealth

posting wips since I've just been sitting on them for some time (i have been motivated to write more)

Title: Payback? Pairing: Eiji/Ichiban Word Count: 1080 Rating: Mature (There will be sex...eventually) Part one of ? Summary: Trying something new in the bedroom does not go as planned.

Notes: Setting is Bastard Eiji’s apartment because I just can’t have them doing it in Ichiban’s tiny bed. It’s too funny to think about. I need them to have space to move.

“Kasuga-san?” Eiji said it casually, since he wasn’t angry over this at all. “I have a question.”

Ichiban was reading something, his face buried in a stack of papers as he made a distracted noise. No, Eiji was not frustrated at being ignored like this, and he asked, voice calm,

“Why did you lie to me?”

Ichiban wrenched the papers down at that, surprised. “I didn’t lie. I would never lie to you.” He paused, eyes darting around in thought. “...Did I lie?”

“You said you wanted to try something new,” Eiji said accusingly, if only to make him feel bad, but Ichiban matched the tone. 

“No, this was your idea. You said to bring handcuffs. I brought handcuffs.”

Eiji narrowed his eyes a little at that. It had been clear that he wanted to use them on Ichiban–not himself.

When Ichiban had presented them to him a few minutes earlier, expecting some sort of appreciation, Eiji gave it to him in a backhanded way as he pushed him toward the bed.

I didn’t think you had it in you to go out and buy these.

Ichiban had grinned as he sat on the mattress, pleased at the compliment and eager to talk.

I almost did. There’s this store right down the street that sells all kinds of stuff, but my friend Seonhee and I were discussing some things, and she offered them to me instead.

Eiji had sat next to him, but had been distracted enough by the thought that Ichiban–shy, overly flustered Ichiban–was talking about sexual stuff with his friends, that he didn’t notice that one of the cuffs was being clicked shut around one of his wrists. He could only glare and get out Ichiban’s name in a warning tone, before the other man climbed on top of him to get his other hand.

He could not be blamed for being too confused to react, and even if he wasn’t, he knew it would scare the other man off if he snapped at him, so he allowed it and simply asked him what he thought he was doing.

Something Adachi-san taught me. He sounded so proud of himself for learning something. He did this to me once. It’s like his signature move.

Apparently, the old man just sat on people to make them give up.

So, now they were on his bed, both of Eiji’s wrists handcuffed to the headboard, with Ichiban sitting on him over his hips, which would have been hot, but it was obvious this had not been thought through. They had been staring at each other, Eiji expectantly, and Ichiban nervously, before Ichiban had told him to wait, and he pulled out those papers from his pocket.

Eiji had sighed, rolling his eyes. Let me guess, from one of your friends.

You’ve been to his restaurant–Zhao. He had a lot of ideas. He said…Then Ichiban looked anywhere else but him, rubbing at the warmth starting up on his face with the back of his hand. Well, he said a lot of things, but he wrote it all down for me.

It’s not that Eiji minded that they all knew, in fact he was pleased, but at the moment, this was boring and deceitful, and he was not happy. 

“You said you’d make it good,” he accused again, and this time Ichiban looked caught before he could hide his face behind the papers again, though it was obvious he was turning a little red. Eiji kept at it. 

“You said you'd figure it out and know what you were doing.”

And this had been true. Ichiban had insisted that he wanted to learn more about what he liked–what they both liked–which was sweet, it really was. Normally, he was unsure but willing to try or he'd dive in and just go for it. Eiji liked him both ways, but there was something to be said about whenever he was overwhelmingly confident. 

Granted, that was mostly in the streets during a scuffle with someone cocky enough to pick a fight rather than when he was between the sheets. Seeing him take men down with such ease was entertaining–and more, if Eiji was being honest.

The way Ichiban's body moved with certainty and strength. The noises he made from the force of his hits. And the way he jogged back to Eiji when it was all over, grinning brightly, flushed with excitement and exertion. It would be nice if that confidence was present in the bedroom, but unfortunately, he could lose it as quickly as he gained it there.

Eiji aimed to get a reaction out of him, to spur him into doing anything besides sitting there and thinking. He pushed as much disappointment into his voice as he could.

“I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that you lied to get what you wanted.”

Ichiban was immediately defensive, waving the papers at him. “Look! There’s a lot of steps to this, okay?”

That was another thing–he over thought everything. “You don’t have to think about Every. Single. Step.”

“You know,” Ichiban began slowly, clearly complaining, "you're always scolding me for doing things or not doing things.” He crossed his arms.  “You’re so hard to please.”

That's because Eiji deserved the best, and quite frankly, he had a lot more experience than Ichiban, and who was benefiting from it? 

“At least if it was me in charge, you would have been finished by now.”

Ichiban couldn’t deny that, but he tried to. “Not like last time,” he frowned down at him. “That was mean.”

At the memory, Eiji could not stop a sharp satisfied smile. It had been mean. He had played around with Ichiban for far too long, had drawn it out until he was a mess, crying and begging for release.

That had been fun. 

His voice lowered, smug and superior. “I enjoyed it.”

Ichiban stared at him for a good moment, before shrugging. “Well,” he said lightly, going back to his papers. “Since I apparently don’t know what to do, then I’m just going to sit here and do nothing.”

…Eiji did tell him that before, didn't he? It was irritating when Ichiban used his words against him.

“How many times are you going to read that?” he demanded, glowering at him.

“Step one,” Ichiban announced with flourish. “Take off clothes.”

“...Are you serious?”

“There's…uh, a lot more detail to it than just that,” Ichiban said sheepishly, and Eiji huffed out an impatient breath. 

“Then do it.”

I love Honkai Impact 3rd and Sims 4, and I wanted my Simself to share this joy, so I made this. This is a recolour of that Plumbob wall frame, but with Teri instead to make it way cuter, and the overly reflective specular removed. Frames come in the original light brown, white, and black colours, and an additional dark brown swatch made by me.

Theresa, also known affectionally as Teri to certain groups of people, holds a special place in my heart for leading me to group of people I'm proud to call friends. A belated Happy Anniversary to all fellow SEA captains! Let me know if your Sims like it.

First Impression: I didn't have an instant moment when I saw her when I watched Y1 and gave my thoughts to my brother but in my ending thoughts I thought she was cute and I loved the fact she was like crazy good at gambling for whatever reason.

Impression Now: I've grown more appreciative of who she is, her role in the story, and her effect on Kiryu--I'll dabble on the importance of their father-daughter relationship later. She's a really key part of the heart of which Kiryu's story and thus the majority of this series, revolves around. I love that she learns and makes the same mistakes as Kiryu, I love that she's determined to do what she needs to do even if the world is out to get her, I love that she likes to tease others.

Favorite Moment: Maybe it's because I've been playing Y1 so it's On The Mind, but when she asks Kiryu what a soapland is just to watch them squirm lmaoooo

Idea For A Story: I don't know if I'd ever write it, but I really want to do something with writing about Haruka and Daigo. I have a few unconnected ideas of them interacting, but no glue. It'd be so interesting to explore how Daigo and Haruka both consider Kiryu to be a father to them, but have completely different relationships with him nonetheless.

Unpopular Opinion: Uhhhh I don't think I have any? Well I guess her having a kid with Yuya I think is fine and interesting? Does that count? But to clarify, it's an idea that can cook and can be interesting, it's just not done very well in Y6. Which... I don't think is an unpopular opinion. Nevermind.

Favorite Relationship: Kiryu!!! That's her papa!!!!!!!! They are the beating heart of this series!! (When not looking at Ichiban.) Ultimately, a major theme of this series is about family and the lengths you'd go to protect the people you care about and these two are the poster children for that theme. Kiryu would do anything for her and Haruka wants to live a life that would make him proud. The tension of being able to fulfill that is most of the plots in these games.

Favorite Headcanon: Hmm... I think she said yes to a lot of things as a kid to make Kiryu feel better. Like she asks Kiryu to take a photo with her, then gives him the photo afterward so he can keep it as a memento because she knows that he will treasure it and it'll make him feel better.

Now I’m curious! You mentioned you hadn’t played through Y7 or Y8 yet, but are there any other entries in the RGG franchise you’ve yet to experience?

(Y7 is an absolute Banger on that note. ♡ It’s on par with Y0 to me, so I’m very eager to see you get around to that one on your gaming journey.~)

there are quite a few actually heh,, i only just returned to the world of RGG after a few years so i have A LOT to catch up on :')

i think it's easier just to say which ones i HAVE played, which would be 0, kiwami 1&2, and 3 & 4. tbh i didn't realize just how big the series got until now! i'm really happy it's doing so well—proud parent moment lmaO ;w;

i actually played 3 & 4 first, wayyy back in 2009/2010... so those are far overdue for a replay. i've actually been hearing that Y3 wasn't well received which is sad bc it was my entry into the series and i really loved it! we'll see how that holds up on my replay, but the nostalgia will probably win me over again 🙏

but yeah, after 2010 life happened so i didn't touch the series again until 2018 with Y0, then kiwami 1&2. and now here we are again with even more games and characters to experience!! i'm really excited to immerse myself in RGG again and play all the 'new' installments 🙂‍↕️💕💕

My strawberry Miku cosplay is almost done! I have been working on this for about 10 weeks now and I’m hoping to enter a cosplay competition with this 🤞 I made everything except the shoes from scratch so I’m really proud of this hehe

husband and I over the last 6-7 years gained a bit of weight and had become pretty stagnant so we decided to actually do something about it at the end of january since then I've lost 11 lbs and am working out every day, actually eating enough, and I feel a lot better. even on my days I'm feeling so damn sick and tired I've been pushing through and am happier for it. he's down 20lbs didn't start simply to 'be thin' or anything just was so sick and tired of feeling so sick and tired on top of my other chronic health issues.

as dumb as it might be to some people, my inspo has been BG3 and his Ichiban/Yakuza lmao

I just wanna be buff and strong and have better endurance and am just proud of us that we are making such good progress

so actually when you said about aokis further career it like got into my mind and i was like hmm yeah what would it be! cause he's a smart dude actually becase no dumbass could do what he did (even if he WAS a dumbass actually) so he def has skill experience and education and taken into account that he's on his way to Redemption (oooh you wouldn't believe how much thoughts i had about him being slowly accepted by ichigang party and most important getting back to being good friends with ichiban himself-) we just look the other way from bleach japan and 3k plan and what not (and i hope he's also not gettin back to THAT jeez) it WAS a phase

(first thing first imagine if he'd suddenly decided to fight BJ back with ichigang like imagine some of their pool employee face when The Aoki Himself tries to sabotage their work like a little bitch he is and you were 100% he died or something)

but actually i don't think he would stray too far from what he did as aoki - maybe not on the Great Scale Of Big Politics buuut maybe a politican of a local scale? maybe he STILL would be against gray zones™ but this time he would actually help? like trying to fit these poor people into society get em citizenships and jobs? (oh everyones gonna be so damn proud you know maybe hamako can open a real restaurant wow!)

like what's the thought behind it all: i may be foolish to think this man would still want to do the good thing (while being a bit of an edgy bitch as a treat cause cmon he deserves it) but i think he does want to do good. it's just like rn he hangs out with people he tried to erase earlier and not with bj assholes and it's impossible for him to not be influenced by that. and at this point i think he could do anything like yeah boy go learn how to mix cocktails or whatever but honestly? i think he would do what he can do good and that's all this political stuff - even if it's a small scale thing at least it keeps him entertained enough to not went down another spiral about his uselessness. he's useful and he's helping that's all!

tbh one of the infuriating things bout aoki's actions for me was the fact he was in a position to totally grant people in the grey zones a more 'honest living' if that's what he really wanted- like as governor of tokyo he undoubtedly had enough influence to give people citizenship and etc

if he were allowed to come back and if he were to continue a political career- first off Good Luck Coming Back Champ LMAO but also yeah it'd be neat to see him use whatever power he had left for the better while not doing a pure 180 since like. aint no one changing their worldview THAT fast but at least he's trying

AH Challenge - Day 6

I genuinely think I may have had one of the best days of my life today.

I felt so loved. Like man, as I’m writing this I’m genuinely just in awe.

All I can genuinely (yes I know I’m using it repetitively) say is God is really real.

While I am still in the process of learning to hear His voice and have my undeniable experience with Him, I basically can say with confidence…. “ I see you Big G!”

Like all I can say is thank you! Thank you God! Thank you to all my friends! Thank you to my brothers in Christ.

It’s funny I get to this point of the blog and I finally have the courage to say more.

Thank you Eugene! Hitting Legs today and the hat like wow man I just felt so happy and proud of you and myself. I am so inspired to continue to work hard, try new things, and continue my workout journey …. Including building legs.

Thank you to the Pinoy Wanna be Basketball Players of Newlofe Harbor City. Like the fact we all got up, despite being tired, despite going to Seaside and Travyn showing up at 8:11, like wow. I just can’t help but smile so big… #nodiddy. Kuya Luke I pray and thank you for the opportunity to pray for you. I know God really is a healer and in His timing will get you right.

Thank you Tyler. You were an answered prayer! God quieted the voices and lies and literally gave me the OG energetic angel to accompany me to such a fun event.

It’s beyond refreshing to just look back on the day and say… wow.

Lastly, I want to thank my Dad. As we couldn’t decide where to eat, we ended up going to Coco Ichiban and I was so thrilled. I was craving it as I am unintentionally carb cycling this weekend. Funny story, this man had it for lunch, but he still drove me there and we ate together. Dad I love you and I am so happy for you.

Like as cliche as it is, all glory to God! He loves me, he loves you, he loves everyone and His love is so big that I am learning to receive all the love he offers me

Mmgh...!!" *anyone who walks into taka's room will find the sight of taka looking incredibly proud of his handiwork while ichi is confined in a burrito, the man huffing and groaning and wiggling as he desperately tries to free himself!*

"So now there's an audience, hu? There's no way I'll give up especially gah with someone else puff watching!! Whew... G-gimme a second. I gotta catch my breath... Man, this thing's way tougher than it looks..."

"...?" Bobby was about to pass by Kiyotaka's room, until he halts when he hears the sound of... Ichiban struggling? Poking his head inside, he blinks when seeing that Ichiban was wrapped in a blanket burrito!! "Oh?! So that's what's happening... ahaha, Ichiban, what did you do to have Taka blanket burrito you?! Oh, but don't take his wrapping skills lightly, now!" Chuckling, he wraps an arm around his nephew's shoulders, before giving it a pat!

"That's right, Taka makes the meanest burrito wraps! Not even Mondo can break out of them. So you might as well give up, or you'll only tire yourself out and make it even harder to grow out. Still though, what the heck did our dragon do, Taka? Since it's his first time experiencing the blanket burrito, go easy on him, okay? Haha!"
