Since viktor is now being talk about, what do you think about romantic yandere VikTuri being in a poly relationship with reader.

A poly relationship with VikTuri is a nightmare because not only is yandere Viktor a psychopath, but Yuri here is also very bipolar. It would not be wrong to say that Yuri is the male version of my Rei Todoroki. Yuri hates the attention viktor gives you, so when Viktor isn't around Yuri would physically harm you. Not like in an excessively violent gorey way, more like slapping you or locking you inside a closet etc kinda way. Obviously, under these circumstances you'd prefer Viktor's psychological manipulation/abuse instead of being alone with Yuri, but then this also pisses off Yuri because why tf is he not your favourite. Yuri would threaten to hurt you if you ever told Viktor about him hurting you because then Viktor would tell him off and go on a whole rant about you being a "delicate flower" that requires "gentle loving", but you know what's the icing on the cake? Viktor knows Yuri hurts you, he's seen the bruises and he's seen how you flinch away from Yuri, but he chooses to ignore it all because all of this drives you into Viktor's lap.

Now platonic yandere Vikturi on the other hand would be a much better option because Yuri wouldn't harm you physically but he is however very possessive of you now. Hell, he's even jealous when you spend time with Viktor.

Speaking of Viktor, now he's still gonna be gaslighting the hell out of you whenever he can but he's still a very mild yandere compared to a romantic yandere Viktor. He loves reader, they both do and all they want is to keep you with themselves forever. I mean they might not hurt you, but everyone else around you is game. Friends, relatives, s/o- you don't need any of them when you have two obsessive and paranoid dads🥰🥰🥰 hey, at least you get to travel around the world every year in luxury💸💸💸

One of the most softest moments/childhood core memories you'd have would be when you're in the skating ring with them. I mean just imagine baby reader holding hands with papa Yuri as he guides her around the ring. And then Viktor is standing a few feet away with open arms, and you'd drop Yuri's hand to skate over to your Russian papa on your own. They'd erupt in joy, as if you'd just taken your first step.

And they'd never force you to pursue a career in skating but if you did, you bet your ass you'd be the best Olympic figure skater ever. And they'd be the loudest (and proudest) to cheer!

Cold as Ice

Okay so, probably the longest fic I’ve ever written?  Even though it’s only like, 16 pages.  Reader is kind-of clueless at the start, but it’s not that bad.  It’s the first yandere fic I ever wrote, so bear with.  Hope it’s not too terrible.

(Oh yeah this also has two endings, it’s a fancy one)

You were skating around the rink, just doing your routine, which was quite simple.  Your skates glided across the ice effortlessly.  Smiling, you twirled around some more and on the third turn, you gasped upon seeing a figure standing off to the side.  Someone was watching you.  Stopping yourself, you went over to see them.  

“Hello..?”“ you called.  They looked at you, their sparkling blue orbs meeting your own shiny (e/c) ones.

“Hi!  I’m Victor!  Who are you?”  The man spoke with a slight accent, despite his good Japanese.  Victor?  You shook your head, unsure.

“Nice to meet you Victor!  I’m (Y/n).”  Victor smiled, running a hand through his silvery hair.

“What an intriguing name” he stated.  You smiled.  He was opening his mouth to say more when the doors to the rink opened.  Yuri came running his, his dark hair slick with sweat.  

“Ahh, Victor!  I’m so sorry!  I didn’t mean to be late, not at all.  I feel SO ba-  (Y/n)?!”  he stopped, just to add your name at the end of his sentence.  You grinned at him.

“Hey Yuri.” you chimed.  A small blush rose to Yuri’s cheeks as he quickly glanced down.

“You two know each other? Victor asked.  Yuri nodded, as did you.

“Ah, yes.  We grew up together here in Japan.  (Y/n)’s family then moved to Europe.  She’s currently visiting, though I wouldn’t have thought to look here for her.” Yuri stated, all while putting on his skates.  Victor nodded along, then proceeded to copy Yuri’s actions.

“(Y/n)!  Let’s skate together a bit!” Victor suggested.  Smiling, you skated out towards him and caught his hand.  He spun your around and you mimicked his movements here and there, thought it was more complicated, having only ever skated with Yuri before and Victor was much taller than Yuri.

“You’re so graceful it’s astounding!  Just crouch a bit more when you want to spin that way.  Who was your coach?”  Victor interrogated you.

“Ah thank you Victor.  Yuri actually taught me everything I know.”  Victor frowned a bit at that, though it disappeared quickly into a smile.  Yuri then called out.

“Victor!  You’re supposed to be teaching me, remember?” Yuri laughed.  Victor’s face turned a bit red at that.    

“Of course, of course.  Ready Yuri?” Victor asked.  Yuri nodded.  You skated to the side of the rink and proceeded to sit on the bench and pull your own skates off.

“Good bye!  Have a good night!” you called out to the two men.  Yuri then turned towards you, smiling brightly.

“(Y/n)!  Come to my place for dinner, hey!?” he called.  You flashed a smile, bright enough to rival his own.

“Of course!  Thanks Yuri!”

You walked up the steps to Yuri’s place and slid open the door.

“H-hello!  Where is everyone?”  You called out.  Suddenly, arms wrapped around your waist and you were lifted onto someone’s shoulders.

“(Y/N)!!!” Victor drew out the last syllable.  You smiled, patting his head.

“Hey Victor.  Where’s Yuri?”  Victor glanced at you.

“He’s in the kitchen.”

“And everyone else is away on a trip.” Yuri finished, walking in to place food on the table.

“OH!  Yuri!” you jumped -well, more so fell- off Victors shoulders and strangled Yuri into a hug.  He hugged you back, a huge smile on his face and Victor decided to join the hug.

“Look!  We’re like a happy little family!”  Victor chimed.  You chuckled and broke away from the hug.  Yuri spoke up with an excited tone.

“Food’s ready.  Let’s eat!”  The three of you pulled away from each other, Victor lingering a bit longer, before following you over to Yuri.

“You made pork cutlet bowls?! Why am I not surprised, Yuri!” You laughed. His face turned red and he smiled.

“Yeah, Yuri is just like a pork cutlet bowl. He is round like the bow-”

“Ok, ok Victor. Let’s just eat.” You had cut him off in favor of trying to save Yuri’s ego. The boys smiled and you all dug in to your food.

You woke up, forgetting where you were. Rolling over, you came face to face with Yuri. You kicked your legs out from surprise and fell onto the floor with a loud bang.

“Oof!” You heard from under you. Your wrists were grabbed and you were pulled back.

“Good morning (y/n). You look lovely in the morning.” Victor purred into your ear. You shivered and cringed at the thought of your morning face and unkempt hair. You rolled off Victor, standing up. He mumbled something in another language and you frowned, finding it odd.  He reached for your wrist again but you stepped away. This caused Victor to grab Yuri’s ankle instead, which was hanging off the side of the bed. Yuri yelped as Victor tugged him down.

“G-good morning Victor!” Yuri stammered.

“Oh, good morning Yuri!” Victor responded. You laughed and the boys followed suit, losing their tired morning eyes as their chuckles filled the air.  You made your way to the kitchen and grabbed a box of cereal and some milk, pouring yourself a bowl.  You knew where everything was, considering how many times you had been to Yuri’s house and the fact that not much had changed.  You sat down on the couch, starting to eat your cereal.  You were contemplating what had happened last night that you had decided to sleep over.  You assumed that you for sure, and probably Yuri, had gotten drunk, with both of you being the lightest of the lightweights.  Victor, you weren’t sure.  Chuckling to yourself you picked up your phone and started scrolling through social media.  Yuri’s most recent post had the three of you eating supper last night.  He had tagged you and Victor, so you clicked on Victors username and proceeded to almost choke on your cereal.  VICTOR NIKIFOROV?!  You shook your head at how stupid you had been for not realizing sooner.  Slapping your phone onto the couch, you went and washed your dishes.  Sitting back down you turned on the tv.  Footsteps could be heard from the bedroom now.  You turned the volume up on the tv, sinking further into the couch.

“Aha!  Found you (y/n)!”  you hummed in response and turned around, realizing it must be Victor.  Before you could turn completely, something was placed over your eyes.  Your hands flew up to pull it off, but larger hands gripped your wrists.

“Hahaha!  Could you let go?  Please....?”  You shivered when his breath fanned against the back of your neck.

“Have you ever wanted to see Russia?”  You pondered for a moment, unsure how to respond.  

“I, uhm, yes.  Yuri and I thought maybe we could go sometime, he’s always wanted to-”  Victor’s hand clamped over your neck, a nervous chuckle that sounded like it bordered on delirium escaped his mouth.  

“You wont be going to Russia with Yuri.  It’ll be me instead.”

“Huh?  W-what do you mean?”  you stammered, muffled by his hand.  It must be a joke.  You barely knew Victor and Yuri should be coming for breakfast soon, right?

“Victor..?”  you managed to squeak out from behind his hand.

“Yes, (y/n)?” he hummed.  Taking a deep breath as he removed his hand, you asked him a question.

“Why do you want to take me to Russia with you?  I barely know you.”

“Hmm~  Good question.  Maybe I just feel like it.  But maybe, despite barely knowing each other, I can tell we were made for each other.”  You thrashed against him, figuring no one, especially someone with such a good reputation, would take a joke this far.

“No, please don’t take me anywhere.  We are NOT made for each other and taking me to Russia against my will is, against the law!  Yuri, will be here any second, and he’ll have you leave!” you yelled, hoping Yuri would hear.

“Yuri is having a nice, long sleep right now.  Besides, I’m taking you to Russia, regardless of the law.”  You paled, understanding what he meant.  Then you were jolted forward by a harsh force against your head.  Darkness rushed forward, catching you in it’s grasp.

You awoke with a jolt.  Recalling the event that took place a few hours ago, you took in your surroundings.  Victor was beside you, holding your hand. He seemed to be sleeping. You looked to your left, taking note that you were on a plane, sitting by a window. You could see snow covering the ground. You couldn’t believe Victor had taken you away from Japan. Stretching, you knew you had to do something. The flight you were taking back to Europe was departing in a few hours and you had to get home. You had to. After another half hour, the plane landed. You grabbed a ticket from Victor’s pocket and stood up, snatching the bag under your chair and stepping over him carefully. Dashing off the plane you rushed into the terminal. Upon looking around, you realized there were no signs in English, much to your dismay. You turned one way and another until deciding to follow the majority of the crowd to what looked like an exit. You hadn’t taken many steps until an iron grip was around your wrist. You tried to pull away but only got dragged closer to your kidnapper.

“It’s just me (y/n). Calm down, and don’t ever try that again.” Victor hissed into your ear. You took in a shaky breath and nodded. Victor smiled and turned you both around. To anyone watching, nothing seemed abnormal. Unless they looked closer and noticed the panic look and bruise forming around your wrist. Victor led you through the airport, somehow escaping mobs of people who chased after him, wanting pictures or autographs. You two finally made it outside where a cab was waiting. Getting into the back, Victor put the bags in the teunk and gave the address to the driver. Soon enough the cab arrived at the most luxurious looking apartment complex you had ever seen. You helped Victor grab the baggage this time, and you took the elevator up to the fifth floor. He ushered you inside and locked the door behind you. You almost forgot your predicament when you saw how nice it was.

“Welcome home (y/n)!” Victor chimed. Your situation hit you like a brick once again. You crumpled to the floor in a break down.

“Take me back to Yuri! Bring me back to Europe!” you sobbed. Victor crouched down beside you, wiping the tears from your face.

“Don’t cry. You’re better off without Yuri. Better off nowhere near him. I can’t bring you to Europe, because then you’ll be leaving me! Besides, Russia is your home now. Your home is with me!” Victor whispered. You tried to control your sobbing, but the tears just came harder. Victor picked you up, holding you close. You tried to push him away but he just held you tighter. Giving up, you sobbed into his chest, soaking his shirt with tears. He kissed your head and sat down on the couch, rocking you back and forth.

You opened your eyes, feeling fatigue wash over you. It had been weeks since Victor had taken you. He had announced you as his significant other when the coach asked why he wouldn’t stop bringing you to practice. Now the whole world knew, and they all believed it. Despite everything, Victor was taking such good care of you, sometimes you could forget you had been kidnapped and didn’t want this. You would only get reminded of the truth when you said something that didn’t sit well with Victor, or refused to listen to him. He always put you back in place, quickly and effectively. You sighed, rolling out of bed. Waking up Victor, he kissed you good morning.  You both got ready for the day, packing duffle bags with changes of clothes and your skates.  You hopped into Victor’s sleek sports car and he drove you both over to the rink for another performance.  Victor had, of course, managed to make his coach put you into most of Victor’s routines in any performances.  Upon arriving at the rink, you managed to make out one familiar person in the throngs of people.  It was Yuri.  

“Victor, I’m just going to use the washroom.” you said.  He nodded.

“Ok (y/n), just be back in 5 minutes or I’m coming to get you.” you swallowed down your nerves and walked towards the washrooms.  As soon as you couldn’t see Victor, you booked it.  Dashing about, some people here and there tried to call out and talk to you, but you ignored them in favor of finding one person.  You finally saw him.

“YURI!  Yuri!” you panted.  He turned to look at you and you threw your arms around him.  

“Oh Yuri, please!  We must leave now!  He can’t see you, or me, or us.  Please Yuri we must-” Yuri shushed you with a finger.

“Calm down (y/n).  Who?”

“V-Victor.  He kidnapped me!”  Panic was starting to set into you once more.  

“W-what?!  No, he would never.” Yuri stammered.

“But he did.  Yuri we must leave/  Please believe me, I would never lie.  Our time is running out.”  Yuri frowned, caught in thought, but a gentle tug on his sleeve had him sighing.  

“Aren’t you and Victor happy?  Aren’t you two a couple?” Yuri choked out.  You shook your head vigorously.  

“No.  I like you Yuri.  Always have.  Your faces shone red and you both leaned towards each other, your lips sealing the deal.  Camera flashes blinded your peripheral and gasps and murmurs were heard all around.

“Let’s get going then, (y/n). Yuri whispered.  You nodded and grabbed his hand, glad you were getting out of there.  You both dashed towards the doors of the stadium.

Running out through the doors, Yuri flagged down a cab.  Helping you in, you told the driver to go to the airport.  

What exactly are you doing in Russia Yuri?” you asked him after a moment of pondering.

“Oh.  I saw a post about you and Victor performing here.  I missed you so much, I had to come see you, and, well- I really do like you.  I didn’t want to believe you’d just leave like that with Victor.  It just isn’t you.  So I came for answers.  I’m glad I found you.”  Yuri smiled a gentle smile and you leaned against him.

“Thank you, Yuri.  I’m so glad you saved me.  I really like you too.”  The cab stopped, pulling up to the airport.  Yuri hopped out, offering his hand to you.  Grabbing it you followed him into the airport and up to a booth.  There were a few tickets left for a flight to Japan that left in 5 minutes.  It was too good to be true.

“From there we can grab our stuff and then head to Europe.” Yuri stated.  You nodded, liking the plan.  You and Yuri made your way to the terminal and boarded the plane.

“Thank you Yuri, I don’t know what I would have done without you.” you sighed.  Yuri grabbed your hand in his own.

“Haha, I’m glad I could help you.  I love you, (y/n).”

“I love you too, Yuri.”

“Oh! Yuri! Luck!” You both froze in your tracks. A hand landed on Yuri’s shoulder and the other gripped your wrist so tight you thought it might pop off.

“V-Victor!” you started. “We were just- I just-” your words were spilling out almost incoherently.

“I saw (y/n) and came to say hi!” Yuri broke in. “It’s been a while! You both left so abruptly, I wasn’t sure what to think.” He almost hissed the last part at Victor, who only forced a smile onto his face. But his eyes were a different story. They were wild with fury, the blue looking nowhere near as pretty as it normally was. He knew something was up.

“Now, Yuri. (Y/n) and I have a performance we need to perform in. Good day.” Victor whipped around, dragging you along as you turned back for Yuri, but he was already lost in the crowd. You looked up at your captor.

“Victor I-”

“You thought you could LEAVE me!! I saw you take his hand. He was going to take you.” Victor was seething now. “Never. I will never let you out of my sight again.” Sitting down on the bench, Victor pulled off your jacket, and grabbed your skates. You tried standing up but he forced you back down. He grabbed your feet and slid your skates on, lacing them up and then doing up his own. He gripped your hand and took you out to the ice. Skating towards the centre, music started filtering out of the speakers. The crowd cheered and yelled as you and Victor sarted to do impossibly complicated twirls and spins together. At that moment; you caught sight of Yuri. He reached out his hand and you reached out your own, fingers brushing, but Victor grabbed your hand in his own and glared at Yuri. Victor spun you around and pulled you close to himself.

“You’re mine.” He whispered in your ear. Everything about him was cold.

Its not like Hanzo could just eliminate your competitor considering that would only result in canceling the event, so he just becomes extremely protective

Itd be suprising if they approach you, god forbid even glance at you during that event with Hanzo constantly sticking to your side

Any plan to physically disable you is instantly foiled, to talk you down or affect you in anyway face to face wont even be given a chance to happen and best believe if the filth has the guts to come close to you Hanzo will deal with them immediately

Wether they perform before or after you Hanzo keeps a sharp eye on them all the while supporting you, always near by like a predator stalking their prey just waiting for them to show a sign of slipping up so he can take advantage of it and attack

Feeling his glare cut through him throughout your entire performance if theyre anywhere near the rink, shifting around obviously uncomfortable and barely able to focus on you underneath his gaze 

Nothing will get past Hanzo, wether they attempt to slide something in the rink to trip you up or even physically harm you, throughout all of this Hanzos still able to encourage and support you, especially afterwards where he smothers you into his chest rubbing your cold skin both proud and trying to warm you up in such a cold tournament

Wether you win or lose Hanzo doesnt mind, hes just proud that you did so well under such pressure, that and it was a clean match thanks to him

You tried to tune the two heroes out as you pretended to be asleep but you knew you weren't fooling them. You felt hizashi rip the covers off you which made you hiss from the cold before feeling the warmth of his body on yours. If this was any other man you would be a flustered mess but since this was hizashi you tried to kick and scream your way out of this issue. This didn't stop the hero from giving you sweet kisses on your neck though he felt your nails digging into his neck and face.

"damn it [name]! Why can't you let me love you!? I just wanna hold you and kiss you!"

You said nothing as hizashi held his face and stormed out the room angrily to get first aid. You were about to curl back asleep but you felt a cold glare on you which made you shudder before sitting up. Aizawa was glaring pretty hard and when he walked over towards the bed the first place his hands were was in your hair.

"that's not nice kitten...you hurt zashi now come and apologize" he hissed out in a low tone as he stares into your eyes. You say nothing which made aizawa growl before he sat on the bed with you over his lap

"guess this Feisty kitten needs a punishment"

Let's just say after that you gave hizashi an apology which he of course accepted.

"how many times must we go over this my dear..I am are the master and you are the doll"

The sound of akechi's teasing sadistic tone rang through your ears as you sat on your knees between his legs eyeing up at him with a look of hatred. He was a good actor you had to give him that..out there he was the Charming prince detective but behind closed doors he was sadistic and cruel. You felt his gloved hands caress your face which was a little bruised up from him punishing your constant disobedience towards him.

"hey..tell me you love me" he whispers lowly as he rubbed his thumb against your bottom lip while having this prince like smile on his face as if that would sway your answer. You hated his guts and made that very clear.

"I rather die.." you spat out and grunted out when akechi slapped you hard enough to knock you down. He stood up and grabbed you by the hair and forced you to look at him. Akechi had a feral Expression on his face as he was clearly not in the mood for your disrespect.

"say it!"

"never!"

This earned you a knee to the stomach and he dropped you to the floor before kneeling down infront of you. He grabbed you by your face and locked eyes with you and your bleeding face.

"say...you love me..[name] or I will do a lot worse"

"now now..that's enough. Goro you are always so rough"

The sound of a smooth and calm voice caused you to look over at Akira who was still in his school uniform. He walked over to you and reached out to wipe the blood off your face with his thumb and he licked the red liquid off his finger. "Hi sweetie..was goro being mean again?" He spoke teasingly before he leaned over and gave akechi a kiss on the cheek.

"you both must have had a hard day..lets all take a bath then I will make us coffee" Akira was always the one who save you from akechi but to assume he was any less obsessed was a foolish mistake. Akira looked you over and he slowly slid his glasses off before setting them aside. The sight of you all bruised up and fragile just did something to him "actually...how about I kiss your wounds better before our bath" he whispers out in a seductive tone.

Akechi gave a smile as he lifted you up and tossed you on the bed "I'll make you say you love me..we will make you scream..won't we Akira?" Akechi questions as he turned towards his boyfriend before he helped him out off his shirt while kissing along his neck..you were in for a loooong night.

"yuri! Our angel still isn't eating!"

Victor's whined to yuri who was cleaning the kitchen. Victor eyed you from across the table and gave a worried look as you simply stated at your plate without touching a single thing. You haven't been eating,sleeping, or talking to the boys for two days straight and it was driving Victor insane.

"should I cook something else? What would you like sweetie?" Yuri asked as he wiped his hands on his apron before walking over and brushing some hair from your face. Your refusal to speak made Victor whine and impatiently tap his fingers in the table. Yuri sighs and glanced at Victor "vitya..can you feed her while I finish? She needs to eat" Yuri said softly before resuming what he was doing

Victor gave a smile as he moved his seat right next to you before picking up the chopsticks and tried to feed you some food but your jaw was locked no matter how hard Victor pressed the food against your lips. Victor lets out a small sigh "I don't wanna hurt you..but you have to eat" Victor said softly before he reached and tried squeezing your face til your mouth was forced open.

Victor shoved the food inside and gave a happy smile. When he noticed you weren't chewing he simply pulled you into his lap and held your nose closed with one hand while his free arm wrapped around your waist to lock you in place. You had to swallow if you needed air. After hearing you give a harsh gulp Victor unplugged your nose before nuzzling his face against your neck "good job!" He cheers out before peppering your neck with kisses. When you gave no response Victor bit down on your neck which made you gasp.

Yuri was finished and he walked over to you both before sitting infront of you. "[Name], you have to talk to us..this game isn't very fair" he said softly and you merely looked away. Yuri let out a tired sigh before he moved from his seat to his knees on the floor "guess we have to make you sing..right vitya?" Yuri asked as he was already removing your pants while Victor was kissing your neck "as much as I would love to hear them speak..hearing them moan is just as good."

You’d always liked interviews.

With someone as flashy as you, a camera an over-enthusiastic host was an excuse to tease, and brag, and avoid serious questions in exchange for flirting with whatever audience member you found cute that day. It was fun, and you never had to give too much away. Privacy was something you held close, after all.

Well, privacy was something you used to hold close. Before Viktor came along and tore it away from you. Just like he’d torn your family away from you, and your friends, and your career. Your personality would’ve been done-for too, but Viktor had to leave something behind. Just the thought filled you with contempt, and seeing him smile, draping an arm over your shoulders and leaning into the loveseat behind you, only strengthen your desire to wrap your hands around his throat and squeeze. But, you could barely muster anything but a few shy waves and a hesitant smile.

Despite your obvious anxiety, the host just smiled, falling into a single seat and propping her feet up on the table between you. Her hair was trapped in a ponytail so high, your scalp hurt just from looking at it. You only noticed her jacket once she turned to face you, a mass-produced version of the one you would’ve worn a year ago. A fan, obviously. Maybe that was why Viktor choose her.

“So, the lovebirds…” She trailed off, smirking in your direction. With a dismissive nod, her normal grin returned, only scaring you further. “Go ahead, I know you two don’t like to be that far apart.”

You opened your mouth, ready to tell her that you were already as close as you could be, but Viktor didn’t give you the opportunity. You could feel his arms wrapping around your waist. By the time you realized what he was doing, you were already in his lap, Viktor’s chin propped on your shoulder with an unearned familiarity. In a more private scenario, you would’ve just made some excuse or pushed him away, but you didn’t want to know what he’d do if you embarrassed him like that in public. Playing along, you kicked off your shoes, melting into his chest. You could hear Viktor purr, choking down a compliment you were sure would make your skin crawl.

“Sorry about this,” He chuckled, nuzzling further into your neck. You flinched, but it couldn’t have been visible. You were being held too tightly for that. “I just love my little angel so much… Did you know we’re getting married, soon? I can’t wait for you to see how lovely she is in a wedding dress, and more importantly, how beautiful I’ll be in a suit.”

The host rolled her eyes, like the very topic of something so gushy disgusted her. You were tempted to join her, honestly. “Believe me, I know. Who do you think is planning to crash the party?” Cue a laugh from the audience, and a worryingly dark glare from Viktor. She gestured vaguely to the sickening display of affection in front of her, regarding you more fondly than she had Viktor. “How’d he manage… this, anyway? I’d never pinned (Y/n) as the sentimental type. I’d thought she was going to focus on recovery, considering your last press-conference.”

“I’m not,” You mumbled, letting the statement slip-out before Viktor could answer for you. Still, you corrected the mistake quickly, letting out a light laugh and swinging your legs happily. “But, this guy managed to pry his way into my life. He refused to leave me alone until I agreed to let him coach me, and eventually, he managed to seduce me with all his training regiments and diet plans.” You shuddered at the things Viktor made you do, pulling you in with promises of improvement only to break you down, until your confidence replied on his approval. Most days, you worked yourself to exhaustion just so he’d do something besides eating away at your skills. “Didn’t make him go easier on the sprinting, though.”

“As for her leg,” Viktor continued, gesturing towards the injured limb. The bandage wasn’t visible beneath your jumpsuit, but you could still feel hundreds of eyes burning into your skin. “I’m afraid recovery isn’t a possibility, anymore. Her Achilles tendon was completely severed.” He paused, his tone too apologetic to be innocent. But, you were long past caring about who’d actually cause the ‘accident’. It didn’t matter who dropped that skate, or who sharpened it so jaggedly, there was still a scar stretching from your ankle to your knee. One that Viktor assured you wouldn’t heal, if you were lucky. “It’s a tragedy. On the bright side, you’ll never have to jog again, dear.”

The host laughed, along with the majority of the audience. But, her hyper, high-pitched voice managed to catch you off-guard. “And I’m sure this whirlwind romance isn’t popular with your fans. You two were rivals a few months ago, I mean. And didn’t (Y/n) call you a ‘delusional, goddamn stalker’ many, many times before you got together, Viktor?”

You cringed, already regretting being so… open with your feelings. That clip was one of Viktor’s favorites, the one he’d play as he held you in his lap, telling you that he’s so glad you changed your mind. During his ‘private training sessions’ (a more romantic name for the times his words weren’t enough to keep you in place), he’d have you recite those three little words until your throat was sore, if only to give him the resolve to carry-out whatever he had planned out. Even at the small reminder, you could feel Viktor growl against your skin, pressing a quick, toothy kiss into your jugular. When he spoke, his voice was lower than it had been. “They´ll be here soon! Do you have the spoons? Where are our spoons?” your dear fiancé was all but running through your shared home, hectically perfecting the already perfected decoration.

“Yuri, dear, please, calm down.”

“I can´t have Loid surpass me, I can´t, I won´t…Oh god, what if the child can´t eat the cake? What if she has allergies?”

You sighed at the sight of your lovely fiancé talking himself into a panic attack.

“Yuri, my love, calm down.” Gently, you laid a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

“But-“

“I asked Yor for everyone´s likes, dislikes and allergies. I asked her about food and presents – even the games we can play later on. Everything is fine. I´m certain they will all love this.”

Yuri sighed, letting his head fall unto your shoulder.

“You´re right, angel.”

His hands ran down your sides before coming to a halt right above your hips to lightly massage your flesh. He turned his head to press soft kisses to your neck before he pulled back to look you in your eyes.

“What would I do without you?”

You giggled.

“Probably panicking nonstop.”

He hummed, leaning down to kiss you, but only seconds later the doorbell rang, and you laughed as Yuri started complaining about Loid yet again. This would be quite an amusing evening.

He traced the bed sheets with his fingertips, hoping to find them warm, your heat preserved. Yet, they were cold. Cruel was the world he had been thrown into. Not once did he believe you would be ripped away from his thieving arms so terribly. Horror festered in his heart. At least he believed it to be that. He had known sadness before, surely there is no sadness greater than what he had felt when dearest friends had fallen?

But, your side of the bed was cold and your favourite book - scorched at the edges of the pages - somewhere on the ground.

He felt the tips of your fingers tracing over his throat the delicate touch of your lips on his pulse. He could not remember the taste of your lips. He could not remember the taste of your lips. His heart nearly leapt from his chest. Then he remembered your books of recipes. He would remember the taste of your sugar-laced tongue soon then.

He did not leave the room for what felt like all winter. Snowflakes covered the windows in frost the pattern of Freesias. When cold sneaked through the cracks and into the room, he briefly wondered if this was what fear felt like. Then, his mind was swept away again in memory and thought.

Your lips had fit so nicely against his. Sweet, sweet bliss would overcome him. He remembered times when you had not once spared him a glance. Always staying in your shared room, stubborn and unreachable like a rose caged in ice.

He felt he heard your voice, but he could not discern what you were saying. He heard love amidst curses. Was that your voice, truly? Did you hate him? But he still remembered the way you let him hold you, swaying in the kitchen to the sound of a classical piece he did not remember with the smell of cinnamon in the air.

He traced the bedsheets with his fingers. Why was everything so dreadfully cold?
