I love Hanzo so sure! This came out bittersweet :(

Yandere! Hanzo Shimada Concept

Pairing: Romantic

Hanzo has always believed he was beyond redemption.

He's lived a life of crime and nearly killed his brother because he was ordered to by his family.

However, nowadays he tries to search for his own path.

Unlike some Overwatch characters Hanzo is not part of Overwatch, Blackwatch, or Talon.

He is a neutral party, he feels there isn't anything to gain from those partnerships.

He wants to have control of himself and is usually very serious all the time.

To make Hanzo become obsessive over someone you'd have to spark his feelings in some way.

I have a feeling him having an obsession over someone is due to him thinking they could redeem him.

Perhaps he's touched by your kindness when you meet him by chance.

Or maybe it's something entirely different.

Either way... Hanzo is definitely a yandere to be in denial once he's obsessed.

He refuses to think he's worthy of love.

He grows even more concerned when his subtle feelings for you become all encompassing.

It gets to the point he tries to rationalize with himself, even as he watches you when you're unaware.

His obsession drills home the thought that he's beyond redemption.

After all... he's still a thug all this time as he threatens others not to drift to close to you.

He sees himself as a monster, similar to Genji.

Both brothers are dragons at heart... no matter how much Hanzo tries to restrain himself.

Dragons naturally thrive off crime... they naturally want to take what they want.

Hanzo may be reasonable enough to try and isolate himself from you when he notices his obsession.

He still finds himself wishing to remove others from you... but he tries his best to control himself.

His mind tells him to spill blood for you, to take you away, to make you his.

He wants to hunt those who touch you down.

He wants to use his precision to force an arrow through their head.

Hanzo really does try to distance himself from you because he cares.

Yet despite him trying to discipline himself and him being self-aware... he can't break his habits.

He watches you constantly, he slips into your home with ease to lightly hold you as you sleep, and he'll never admit what he does to others who are too close.

He curses himself for his possessive and obsessive nature.

He already knew he was irredeemable... but he thinks he has a chance with you.

So... that's why he pursues you.

Be it for friendship... or a romantic partnership... he just wants to find acceptance that he can't get anywhere else in his eyes.

But once he stops isolating himself, once he breaks and comes back to you.

The next thing he knows he has you in his home... intricately bound to a chair with the prettiest ribbons...

Hanzo knew the moment he thought he could change he was doomed.

Of course he couldn't change.

All he does is harm those closest to him.

Just as he chased you to try and find redemption... he only gathered more blood on his hands.

You look at him with fear not adoration.

Even as he strokes your cheek and whispers how he loves you...

You only have fear.

Hanzo fears he has lost your bond like he has with his brother.

He only brings destruction in his wake.

Yet he still looks at you like there's a chance... maybe he can still make this work...

The moment he accepts such a notion, however... he may just break you and your bond.

Hanzo had been getting rid of someone in the woods. They put up a hell of a fight, and he overdid it. Now he is lightheaded and dehydrated. The sun is beating down on his torn suit. He supports himself against a tree, and then everything turns black.

When Hanzo wakes up, he sees the most stunning woman leaning over him with a damp cloth, Gently pressing it against his face. She smiles at him, and he swears he is in heaven.

"Thank God you are okay. Do you want some water?" She asks him, and his eyes widen.

This woman is his soulmate. He thought he would never find her. "It's you, my soulmate." He says, looking at her and awe and desire, With the smallest hint of obsession.

He sits up and takes her in a kiss. She gasps into the kiss. This is rather sudden. She had given up hope that she would ever meet her soulmate, and now he was kissing her. She does not know what to do… What does she do? She always dreamt of this day. Now here it is, and she is frozen in place.

"Mine~," Hanzo says, pulling away and resting her forehead against hers.

She looks into his eyes and sees the obsession. Fuck, she is so screwed.

(Hanzo's POV)

I thought I would never meet her, I had given up hope, but she was here. She is right in front of me. The first moment I saw her, I thought she was an angel. And she is an Angel, My Angel, my soulmate, mine. She is all mine, and I am never letting her go. I will take her back home, where we will get married and have the perfect life. I will make sure of it.

♡ Baptiste: For Baptiste he needs more emotional closeness with his s/o than physical, he’s completely happy to wait until his s/o is ready.

♡ Lucio: Like Baptiste he wants an emotional connection to his s/o. Lucio is fine being in a relationship with no sexual intimacy, though he’d be completely ecstatic if you ever decided that’s something you wanted to do with him.

♡ Reinhardt: He’s a strong believer in chivalry, he wouldn’t dare try to be intimate with his s/o without their complete consent.

♡ Genji: He’d be patient in waiting for his s/o to be ready, Genji needs an emotional bond more than he requires sexual intimacy. There isn’t zero chance he wouldn’t, but more than likely he wouldn’t try anything until his s/o is ready.

♡ It really depends on which Hanzo we’re talking about. Young Hanzo would definitely, he’s brash and ambitious. Being the heir to the Shamada clan, and he’s take it as in insult if you were to do anything less that surrender yourself to him. Older Hanzo has come to peace with his past actions, and after the death of his brother he’s settled down a lot. He’d be willing to wait until you were ready, wanting it to be a meaningful experience for not only him but also his s/o.

♡ Rammatra: This one also depends on what his s/o is, varies based on if they’re an omnic or human. With an omnic s/o he’d see them as an equal, he’d be much more kind and considerate of their wants and feelings. With a human s/o they’d be more of a pet to him, he’d have no issue taking whatever he wanted from them whether or not they were willing.

♡ Junkrat: He isn’t very self aware when it comes to his obsession, he’s almost completely delusional about their relationship. To some extent he realizes you aren’t together, but he doesn’t care to let his thoughts linger on the fact. Jamison little issue with his s/o’s consent, he makes the act about them, he gets his fulfillment from it by giving rather than receiving.

♡ Soldier 76: Both prefall and current Jack would have little issue with it. He’s in a position of power, and you’re not, he’s a super soldier if he wants to he will. He’s learned not to hold onto guilt, so he won’t feel that for what he’s doing.

♡ Cassidy: He’s a very sex driven person, he can go a little while without it but he expects his s/o to give in to him eventually. His drinking is what leads to it most often, and his s/o can expect no aftercare from him once he’s done.

♡ Reaper: He’s a jealous and possessive person, even before the fall of Overwatch he has sadistic tendencies. Gabriel doesn’t need reciprocation from his s/o, not that he would enjoy it, he just doesn’t need it from them. While he’d be more rough in his Talon era it doesn’t mean he’d be much better before Overwatch’s fall.

My current NEW favourite fanfic

This will be a long post, as I start with fic recs for the following fandoms: overwatch, legend of zelda, mortal kombat and love and deepspace. Then followed By my own wip blur for the same fandoms (but not for love and deepspace, ;-; i have no ideas yet)

Moving on. My new favourite fanfic trope is self aware au! Something about these fics are so interesting and beautiful. They do share the same straightforwardness that I enjoy from the isekai trope, (which I have mentioned in past post).

But I think what also draws me in, is that magical realism. Having that level of familiarity and cosiness, tapping into a routine that you can picture vividly but then adding that sudden twist of the character in the game just turning towards you.

Granted, the reader in the situation didn't seem to be in a great place at the beginning but regardless. This fic was very thoughtful and Sylus was beautifully written. • Yandere Yakuza!Hanzo owns the streets of Hanamura, often patrolling with his crew late at night. He has the most important people of the city in his pocket or working alongside him. The Yakuza has infiltrated practically the whole city. 

• When you first arrive in Hanamura, you very quick learn this. You were wise to heed the warnings to stay away from anything related to the organization. 

• But the Yakuza scouts any new residents, anyone that lives in the city is apart of their property. And Hanzo’s men are always eager to talk about a new pretty face that shows up in their territory. Often he pays no mind to them, more occupied by his duties than in chasing a shiny new toy. But once he does catch sight of you, he is fascinated by what he sees.

  • He is on duty every night, yet still finds the time to keep a close eye on you. You’re smart, you don’t hang about the usual places he and his crew would frequent. Many newcomers are quick to dismiss the influence of the Yakuza, but you knew better than that. Still, you couldn’t escape him. 

• You sparked his interest, something most people would kill for. He wanted to absorb you into his organization and gain full control of you. It began with infiltrating your workplace. •When that didn’t work, he would send men to bestow you gifts on his behalf. It was certainly a shock, you didn’t know what you had done to receive anything from the Yakuza boss himself. But word quickly spread around the city that he had claimed you, all before you had even seen him yourself. 

• People grew distant from you. Some were taking precautions, others had received unsavory warnings. Before you knew it, everyone in the street stared at you as you walked by, whispering to each other as you passed. It upset you, and you started asking around about Hanzo to anyone who wasn’t afraid to speak to you. Those being people who were already affiliated with the Yakuza themselves and it would not be long until Hanzo caught wind of your curiosities. 

• In the dark of night, you were pulled into an alleyway by a group of well-dressed men. You were panicked, though you already knew you were living on borrowed time. They brought you to a marvelous adorned tea house, pink petal blossoms peppering the gardens. And there was Hanzo, dressed handsomely in western attire as he kneeled beside the table. 

• It was the first time you had seen him, and he already left a memorable impression. You heard stories about how vicious he was, and you could see it on his face. Even in his most relaxed state, his eyes were always angry and alert.  

• Many of your meetings with the Yakuza boss would be like this. When he was not preoccupied with his clandestine operation, he ushered you into a private room (though the privacy was soured by the entourage of men patrolling the perimeter) and the two of you spoke while he enjoyed a cup of tea.

•Declining his invitations wasn’t an option for you. You couldn’t escape him, you were both aware of that. Still, he wanted you closer. What good were you by yourself, you had to be by his side where he could keep you safe. Make sure no one in this world would hurt you and you would always be taken care of.

A warm hand caresses your face softly as you stir awake, eyebrows furrowing as you try and fight off the dread of waking up. You hear a chortle, and roll over to bury your face in the warm body beside you, groaning as the sunlight slowly fills the room. “What are you doing?” a deep voice asks, a hand coming to rub up and down your back as you adjust and try to curl in a bit more.

“Avoiding waking up. What are you doing?” you groused.

Hanzo smiles as he plays with your hair, wrapping his leg around yours to pull you in closer “Admiring the love of my life. In this one and the next”

You tried to keep playing with a pout, but couldn’t stop the little laugh bubbling from you. “You think we’ll know one another in the next life? I'm so unfocused I'm surprised I met you in this one”.

He knows that. It’s endearing to see you like that, it’s cute and while not practical or helpful, he loves that it’s a part of you. Plus it gives him reasons to send you extra texts and reminders, so that's a plus in his book.

"I'm sorry for what I am about to do, forgive me."

Hanzo was once a man who was born to lead a crime organization of assassins. The firstborn with a natural disposition to leadership that falls from "grace" once orders to kill his younger brother. He is a very regretful yandere with a serious outlook. He looks for some kind of purpose in life because he fears the crime organization he was born to lead isn't the right one. That's where you come in.

His darling could be a complete stranger or some kind of old friend. This can happen in many ways for him. All that matters is that his darling/you come into his life as his new purpose. It can be the purpose to defeat you, the purpose to protect you, or even the purpose to make you happy. Hanzo just needs to see a need and his obsession will grow from there.

He can be obvious for a long time, getting narrow-sighted as he looks over all the information he's gathered on you. He'll have everything from your birthday to when you wash your sheet written down in a notebook kept in his kimono top pocket for easy access. Hanzo doesn't realize how fucking strange he's acting until he gets arouses seeing something he shouldn't have or gets possessive. That's when he realizes whatever he's doing isn't simply organized crime anymore.

He feels the utmost shame about these unhealthy feelings. While it isn't comparable to his brother's trauma, he does feel like it's similar. It's like he's making the same mistake he made then, and he's constantly questioning himself. He fights within himself about whether he's right or wrong. He can't help but lean towards right since you need him. Hanzo finds it almost laughable how many times he's saved you from who he deemed threats.

So he begins his way of the courting process, which he knows almost nothing about. He hasn't really felt such genuine feelings before, being used to women throwing themselves at him because of his status and looks. So he goes back to basics, which is gift giving and love letters. He gives them anonymously since he's a little too embarrassed to sign his name. Sadly Hanzo is too busy in his own brain to figure out what he's doing is probably creeping his darling out more than seducing you.

At least until it all comes to a head when he finally musters the courage to actually come face-to-face with his darling. He'll confess very sweetly to you, explaining his feelings clearly and saying some stuff similar to the letters. Now if you're smart you'll notice that his eyes are filled with nothing but obsession and he says things he shouldn't know. So you'll probably reject him, and this will lead to kidnapping. If not, then you'll be in a semi-happy relationship.

While he wasn't planning on kidnapping you, he is strangely prepared. Hanzo is an ex-member of a very dangerous gang so he has set up some warehouses he can live in semi-comfortable while also being hard to get into. Coincidentally it is also very hard to get out of if you're not Hanzo. Things like steel doors and passcodes and all that nice stuff. You'll be taken care of, albeit by a cold captor slowly turning soft over time.

If you accept, then you'll be thrown into a relationship with a somehow very distant but close man. He moves the relationship very fast, moving in in a matter of weeks. At the same time, he tells you almost nothing about his past and seems to only want to talk about you. So Hanzo definitely comes off strange but he's very attentive to your needs and can protect you.

A/N: Its been a long time since i posted, right?

Request: Hanzo orders his dancer to dance until she collapses, but then punishes her when she collapes quite quickly (due to her having low stamina?) because he thinks she could have danced longer.

Heavy blankets of cigar smoke roll amongst the ill-lit room as Hanzo sits relaxed against a lush couch with one leg crossed over the other. A thick bulge is straining against his slacks as a hefty cigar lays lazily against his plush lips, supported by resting fingers decorated with fine jewelry. With each increasingly long drag, more smoke flows out from the mouth of the dragon, of danger. The proof being thick poisonous clouds that leave nothing untouched.

Except him. He remains untouched by the filth. His crisp suit hugs his form to no fault and stands to show the perfection that is Hanzo Shimada. He’s filthy rich, enviably- unreasonably beautiful, and he holds a gaze that can strike any man with fear. A predator. Honorable, nonetheless... supposedly.

Hanzo has grown to fancy a bit of pain with his pleasure, and god if it isn’t delicious. His eyes shamelessly trace her figure as she sways her body just for him- shamelessly studying his prey, playing with his food. Honorable indeed, working his beautiful dancer until they’re sweating and buckling under their own weight, body collapsing from exhaustion.

Her right knee crumbles and hits the floor first, hard. Then her right elbow, her hip, and an audible choke follows the next arm. As soon as the thud dissipates, a gasp and an audible swallow replace it. She realizes her failure. His disappointment. The punishment to come.

Yet still, the show must go on. As fear roots in her eyes, she makes work of her collapse by spreading her body across the floor. Steadily breathing the dragons breath deep into her lungs, shaking fingers run along her body to sell it as much as she possibly can.

As much as she’s tried, and as much as Hanzo enjoys toying with his food, he knew that his dancer wouldn't make it. This display was quickly worsening his current predicament of what to do.

Hanzo had previously unabashedly laid out the not-so-pretty picture of what he would do if she was to fail, and made it clear to note that it was not up for debate...

His eyes slowly scoured the surface of her body as she hesitantly began the descent into the game. Their dance. Hanzo felt himself swell. His decorated hand reached for a cigar, lighting it a bit too far as he looked her in the eyes and the end flared red hot. He eased off the cigar, and with the movement came the first puff of dragon's breath.

“If you fail-

“I won't hesitate to hurt you. You will not enjoy it. You will cry, scream, and beg. I will make sure of it, and I will only stop when I see fit.”

He takes another long drag without breaking eye contact, followed by an onset of billowing smoke. Hanzo makes sure she sees him tracing her body with his eyes before speaking once more in a harsh, firm tone. The mood in the room shifts dramatically.

“I’d find it in your best interest for you to service me, and take what I give to you. If you may find it within yourself to disagree, then this is over, and you can ensure that I will not hold back when lashing you.”

But now that raw meat had become a rare steak at the discovery that it was still trying to please him upon its failure, despite being afraid? Now that tears were leaking from her eyes- so close to her breaking point where Hanzo so desperately wanted his dancer to fall over? He throbbed in his pants again. Hanzo wasn’t so sure anymore. It was going to be so much more fun to act on the possibility of playing now, despite not being able to entertain his original plans. Enticing little thing. Infuriating piece of meat.

“Stop.”

The cigar is put out in a nearby ashtray that is just as unnecessarily lavish as everything else in the room, and Hanzo’s eyes immediately shift to your shaking body on the floor. Your head lifts slowly, still hurting from the tumble, and your eyes are wide with fear. But you obey him- your limbs still in place as you wait patiently.

He’s sure if he could eat you, he would do so. He’s leaking uncontrollably in his pants at the sight of you hanging on to his every word and command despite your limits clearly being abused by him.

“Be still.”

The shimada hums in acceptance of your compliance as your body lies stiff. But this doesn’t last long, because seconds later he’s right in front of you, spotless shoes placed right in your field of view. One of them tilts up under your chin, tilting it upwards at a painful angle. His gaze is daring you to disobey to escape your discomfort as his shoe pushes against your jaw higher and higher. A whimper of sorts comes from your throat, and at that moment he hopes you learned to have kept quiet, because his foot drops immediately and you weren’t expecting it. Your chin busts against the floor and you can neither be still nor quiet. You cry out and gasp as fat tears roll down your cheeks, but your mouth keeps pursing as if to hold it all in. You keep trying to please him though, and that’s what keeps him going.

Quiet whimpers are still coming from your mouth and you’ll twitch occasionally due to the crying, causing your chin to wobble and burn worse than before, but your mouth is mostly closed to the point that you’re trying not to breathe in order to obey. Your body is attempting to still it’s movements as you lock the knees you previously busted on the floor, and he knows that it hurts. But he’s throbbing in his pants all the more, leaking with need.

Hanzo decides that he won’t be denying himself any longer, and begins to palm himself. Once more he puts his shoe in front of your face, and he sees more tears continue to form in your eyes, but you remain silent… mostly.

“Lick.”

Gripping himself tightly one last time through his slacks, he makes sure you hear him unbuttoning them… unzipping them… and shoving them past his v-cut only enough for him to pull his cock out and begin stroking. The slick sounds erupting from above are not lost on you, and he can tell that if you weren’t afraid before, you are now. Or at the very least, you’re about to be.

His knees fold onto his calves so he can balance on his feet, bending down to you. Your face is cradled in his huge palm, and the other hand is steadily stroking while Hanzo gazes at you.

Without breaking eye contact, he pulls away to place the other palm in front of you as well.

“Spit.”

You don’t have the privilege of opening your jaw at least a bit slowly, because this time the shimada does it for you. He grips your jaw tighter, causing it to fall open out of pain, and there’s no rest for you even then. He makes sure of it. Two thick fingers are forced into your mouth quickly, repeatedly, and you cannot stop gagging. Saliva produces even faster now, and as soon as Hanzo sees enough has pooled in your mouth, he’s digging it out and stroking it into his cock. Not too long after, his fingers will go jab back into your gag reflex repeatedly and the process repeats until his dick is glistening with your spit.

Apparently you have learned- he acknowledges with a hum- because when he abruptly drops your jaw this time, you catch yourself.

Shit. You let out a shaky breath, and mentally prepare yourself for the shock that you know is about to shoot down your knee.

You prop yourself up on your hands first and push up, when your elbows begin to shake. The huffs out of your nose become more violent and your throat chokes up as your knee is now at an awkward angle. You attempt to move it inwards in order to gain more leverage but it erupts in pain and you call out- before closing your mouth immediately in fear. You hear heavy footsteps approaching and remind yourself that staying calm should help you escape a harsher blow in the end- but you find yourself leaking tears and gasping for breath again anyway as Hanzo’s blurry shoes appear in front of your hands on the floor. And the blow never comes. Instead, two fingers are gripping your jaw, slowly raising your view to meet his eye line. He’s blurry too.

“I’m sorry, sir, I-“

“Stop.” He pauses to make sure you’ve heard him and only continues once your harsh breathing recedes. “Let your knee relax. I’m going to lift you.” Then suddenly, he’s not so blurry anymore, your knee relaxes, and you gulp audibly. He bends down to grip you around your waist with his big hands and as he raises you cautiously, your knee scrapes across the floor and he pauses. He hasn’t broken eye contact. He’s…. looking for confirmation? But there’s no indication on his face of leniency nor sympathy. You decide not to search for it. You nod shakily and he lifts you up the rest of the way into his arms. Such compliant prey, he thinks.

And as Hanzo carries you away, you realize you shouldn’t have let him. Hanzo smells divine and his clothes are extremely soft. And it only makes it worse that he’s so fucking warm and huge. Inevitably, you start to drift to sleep. You try to make it known to him by nudging your head into his chin lightly to get his attention, but he takes it as you trying to nuzzle into his neck that he then pushes you further into with a hum. You realize it’s a lost cause as your eyes flutter shut and he speaks, sending a sharp pang of fear striking through you.

“I’ll be keeping you.

You may drift off now, you’ll need your rest for your next performance.”

You need to stay awake. Fight him. For once. Keep you? He wasn’t being sweet, he was taming his prey. Playing with his food. Tenderizing the meat. But as the feeling of your head in his kneck and his huge arms around you remains...this only manages to be a thought.
