Teacher Deku Headcanons (Part One?)

+ On his first day of being a teacher, he was an hour early (he hung out with All Might and they caught up with one another until the students arrived - All Might is now just a substitute teacher due to his declining health and old age).

+ He still collects All Might merch, but now he has a storage shed filled with merch of all his old classmates (he does give some merch away to his students because his shed is always overflowing - he does a raffle for it after every exam and whomever wins gets to choose one merch item they want from a pile he brings).

+ He is really awkward with his female students, but overall he is very accepting and will even stand up for his disabled/LGBT students if they get harassed by anyone (he was very ignorant as a teenager but after the war he became far more open-minded especially after he talked with Bakugou and they both confessed their feelings right after the war ended).

+ He is married to Bakugou, making both the first Pro Heroes to be openly homosexual and advocating for LGBT rights (his old friends are advocates too but not as much - Ochako and Shoji's advocacy often interest with LGBT advocacy/rights so they face it more often).

+ Him and Aizawa are really close teacher friends, often hanging out and talking about their students and/or the war (Deku still has severe PTSD an Aizawa helps him through it - literally the only time Deku ever confronts what he went through and how he's currently dealing with it now).

+ He is writing a novel series about his journey into becoming the 'greatest hero', hoping that one day it will help someone else like how All Might did for him (basically an in-universe version of the manga but if it really was written by Deku).

+ He's still very self-conscious about his scars, they remind him of the war and everything he went through (Bakugou often comforts him by kissing his scars at night and Deku does the same for him).

+ He NEVER gets sick, but he is always tired from his work as a teacher (basically Aizawa except he runs on caffeine and hope 24/7 - he only gets sleep when Bakugou forces him to, and he takes sleep meds as he gets nightmares often).

+ He told the secret of quirks to Hawks, jump-starting the first true advancements into understanding what quirks truly are (mostly in honor of Tenko/Tomura and his sacrifice - Hawks uses this information to hopefully figure out a way to take away 'dangerous' and/or debilitating quirks that inhibit one's daily life).

+ When he gets his Iron Deku suit, he still mostly focuses on being a teacher and is a Pro Hero as a 'side hobby' (he still is glad he can be a hero but it's been 8 years since the war and 5 since he lost OFA so he's content as a teacher - being a Pro Hero is just a bonus for him now).

+ He often visits Inko for dinner, the two talking about his job and how things are going (she fully supports him and Bakugou being a married couple, though she still worries about things because she's still Deku's mom).

Dick. For the canon isn't real square I am Specifically talking about the Tom Taylor Nightwing run. He's a bastard and usually not a good father but also complex and should be dissected under a magnifying glass. I love him dearly. He's also just the worst. I think that's why I love him. Lemme explain via example: Imagine a writer who types all their stories on their computer. Maybe they share them online maybe they are way too nervous to do that, and just keep it a secret hobby. Anyway, one day they leave their desk to do something only to come back and notice that their writing document moved to a different page, and their computer didn’t fall asleep like it usually did. This confuses them but they brush it off, telling themselves that maybe they were faster than normal and maybe accidentally moved the page.

However, it keeps happening. Each day they walk away for a moment or even longer, their computer never falls asleep and is on a completely different page. This starts to freak them out. So, they decide to walk away and then sneak back as quietly as possible. When they peek their head inside, they see a tiny little person at their computer, just staring at the screen. The writer watches as the tiny continues to read their story, and that’s when they realize, they’re reading the writer’s story. They walk in, spooking the tiny. The tiny is in shock, they can’t tell if it’s just fear of being seen or getting the chance to actually talk to the writer whose work they adore, perhaps a mix of both. Maybe the tiny gets overwhelmed and before the writer can ask the classic “What are you” question, the tiny burst into a bunch of questions about the story the writer is writing. The writer taken aback by this, just awkwardly answers them and tries to ask them a question only for the tiny to continue asking questions. Eventually the tiny remembers that “Oh right… I’m not supposed to be seen…” and cautiously asks if the writer is upset with them and whether they will hurt them. The wrier assures them that they are mad and won’t hurt them and are honestly glad that their computer wasn’t hacked or there was a ghost or something. Also, how could the writer ever hurt their biggest…well smallest fan?

Maybe they build a friendship where the tiny helps the writer with ideas and getting over those writing hurdles. Hell, maybe the tiny even was inspired by the writer and tried writing their own story and shares it with the writer. Maybe the writer gains the confidence to share their stories online or even publish their work all because one little person loved their work. Perhaps the tiny, with the help of the writer, shares their own stories while hiding their identity as a tiny from everyone. So many possibilities! Just tiny little fans, forgetting they should probably focus on not being seen and not “What is Character’s favorite thing to do when they are bored?” Like sweetheart probably not the best time, but go for it.

MHA Headcanons (( Texting Buddies Edition ))

Started in middle school, honestly he didn't mean to constantly stalk you online. But he had no one else to talk to, the poor boy just wanted a friend. He'd tell you all about Kacchan and quirks, just being his nerdy self even if you don't respond because he knows you're seeing his texts. Once he gets to UA he does text you less and less, he gets super busy but doesn't want to let you go completely - after all you are his first 'friend'.

When the 2nd part of the war starts and he's become Vigilante Deku, you are the only reason he doesn't completely break into pieces. Even All Might cannot reach him after a certain point, the ONLY reason you both lose all communication is because Nagant breaks his phone. And he does not contact you again...until years later, when he becomes a teacher and your kid(s) show up as students in his class. You both immediately re-connect from that day onward, remaining friends (or maybe more...?).

It was mostly an accident on his part, keeping your number after middle school despite not even really knowing you at all. He doesn't go online or use his phone much, yet he keeps on contacting you whenever you text him. He never initiates, and always gives short responses or just a little emoji reaction. So you can definitely vent to him, he may not even see what you're writing and he won't judge because his responses don't really give you much.

Until, one day, something changes. He actually sends you a 'hey', the first time he's ever initiated contact since he's had your number. You don't know why he's suddenly talking, but then you get a literal wall of text as if he's writing you his will. Maybe he is. Saying he regrets everything with Deku and you, he is glad you stuck with him all these years and he's a shithead for never actually talking to you.

After the war, he keeps full contact with you. Sometimes initiating, depending on the day. But he now fully answers whatever you text him, sometimes even sending you Great Lord Explosion Murder God Dynamight (you both shorten it to just Dynamight and eventually Ground Zero bc you are both goddamn nerds) merch even if you never ask for it. And, eventually, you both meet after so many years. You see him graduate, become a Pro Hero...you become one of his biggest advocates, seeing him go from middle school bully to a true hero like he's always wanted.

You don't meet Shoto until he gets to UA. And at first, he treats you coldly like he does with everyone else. But once he starts his healing journey, he finds your number and just starts texting you. Mostly about his family, his trauma...that's all he really talks about. But hey, if it gives him comfort then you don't mind one bit. And this goes on, with the both of you communicating this way the entire time.

After the war, he finally talks to you face-to-face. Mostly to thank you for letting him vent, but he needs to focus on his hero work now. So he cuts contact, you both end it on very good terms...until he asks you out during the Class Reunion. He's almost 30 now, and he wants to settle down a bit. He doesn't want kids whatsoever, but hey you can't exactly have kids either (or just simply don't) and he's cool with that. He can just focus on you, and his hero work.
