Modern! HOTD men holiday headcanons.

Aegon Targaryen:

- 100% dresses as the Grinch at the family holiday dinner. He's also the type to go over the top about it, running in and snatching the tree and startling the kids, knocking Aemond over in the process (in character ofc), and running out of the house. Don't let him fool you he loves doing it for the kids and family

-He hates the cold thought. It never fails he'll try to convince you to ditch the cold weather for a more tropical destination. Whether you take it or not is up to you ofc. But don't be surprised if you stay and have to listen to him whine about his "cocks shriveled up inside him from how cold it is."

- insists on awkward xmas photos so he can send them to literally everyone he knows for a christmas card. i'm talking the matching sweaters as well of course.

- As much as he'll pretend he doesn't enjoy it, he loves holiday shopping. He'll help you pick presents, decor, outfits, whatever you need. And of course he's paying for all of it. Even the holiday dates. He loves spending them with you too.

-Puts a bow on the crotch of his pants for you on xmas morning with the cheekiest grin. Also owns mistletoe boxers and won't hesitate to wear them randomly around the house, insisting on the mistletoe tradition.

-Spoils the shit out of you. Every xmas it never fails that he has some extravagant gift for you. A car, a puppy, jewelry. After all the Targaryens are the richest family in the world practically.

- Insist on letting you decorate your shared home however you want, and he'll only mildly complain when you ask him to help you hang lights or put up a tree together (he likes the way you focus hard on decorating, it's beyond cute to him)

- Drunk sleds (ask him how many bones he's broke doing this). He never learns ever of course but as soon as someone even mentions snow fall enough to sled, he's busting out the whiskey and putting on layers. As much as he hates the cold ironically, he loves drunk sledding above all.

- Insistent on matching pjs. He also picks out xmas themed lingerie for you every year for christmas eve night.

-Hella xmas innuendos and dirty pick up lines. "Come sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you want for xmas"

"Have you been a good girl this xmas?"

"I have a present in my sack for you, shall i bring it down your chimney?"

Aemond Targaryen:

- Somehow manages to get roped into dressing as Santa's elf at the holiday dinner, and once the company holiday party. He is never happy to do it and yet he always does it anyway.

- Super over competitive for the christmas cookie decorating. And no one wants to be on his team for any holiday games either. He's left the party early before after losing to Aegon once. He doesn't like to talk about it.

- Plans several holiday dates for you both. He's secretly a romantic ofc so he's taking you anywhere and everywhere. Taking you to light displays, tree farms, hot cocoa bars, carriage rides. So long as you allow him, and he's more than happy to spoil his sweet girl.

-Santa Baby is his favorite song...for obvious reasons. One time you gave him a xmas lap dance to that song so now it's like Pavlovian. Always whisking you away every time it comes on as he bends you over the coffee table in front of the tree.

-Makes sure you get whatever you want for xmas, himself despite hating the holiday rush of those around him. Grumbling about the whole thing to himself while he wraps your presents away from you. It's always worth it when you see whatever he gets you.

-Actually likes holiday movies. Even despite some of the cheesy ones. Always finding time to watch them with you. He'll never tell you that his favorite xmas movie is also Elf.

- May complain about matching xmas attire but the minute anyone says anything even remotely negative he's prepared to deck the halls.

- Has for sure pelted a million snowballs at Aegon once for mentioning how cheesy his pj pants were one xmas morning until Aegon surrendered. (because they both have a snowball fight every year. that's a head canon on itself)

-Secretly the best xmas present giver. You're always pleasantly surprised at how he managed to get the right thing every time. He takes pride in spending the year listening to every little comment about how you would like to get this or that or pick up that latest new book at the bookshop. He remembers it all and had it for you under the tree on xmas morning.

-Xmas cookie making with Aemond, usually ends up a with you being eaten out on the kitchen island, or with you bent over the counter while he fucks you hard from behind. Telling you what a good girl you've been for him all year. ingredients from baking are smeared everywhere...anyway.

Jacaerys Velayron:

- Always dresses as Rudolph for the holiday parties. Letting you paint his nose red as he excitedly talks about all the presents he picked out to pass out on the kids with Santa (Cregan), the elf (Aemond).

- Literally turns into Buddy the the Elf around the holidays. He loves the holidays and will do anything to make the most of each one and make it memorable.

-Starts decorating your place November 1st, laying out your xmas pjs to decorate in. He's got no shortage of Holiday spirit as you two go pick out your live tree (a fake tree is blasphemy to him). Watching all the gushy holiday movies with you (Last Christmas is his favorite btw)

- Insists on keeping your xmas presents a secret. He'll get super upset if something get spoiled so you do your best to stay out of the place he thinks is hidden.

-But he always has to call his mom for help or send them to her to be wrapped because he still doesn't know how.

- He loves to fuck you under the the glow of the tree lights at the end of most nights. He tells you you look like an angel the way you shine under them

-Loves to take you to any and all light displays. using it as an excuse to go on walks with you (weather permitting ofc). Gushing to you excitedly about how excited he is to see you open his presents he's gotten you. Talking about your day before conveniently stopping you both under mistletoe

- 100% A sentimental gift giver. He always manages to find the sweetest little gifts, it's his favorite part of xmas is trying to find the perfect gift because this will be the gift that he picks out himself he just wants you to like it (you always do)

-Has a tradition with you on who can build the better snowman, he takes it very seriously and totally drags his family into voting for who has the best one. Except he pouts when he loses.

- Hes actually good at ice skating (he's only injured himself one time with you) and he likes to take out out for cocoa after and tease you about how many times you fell

Cregan Stark:

-Always gets volunteered to be Santa at the function. He's a big guy, and he's willing to do it for the kids so why not? Always referring to you as his Mrs. Clause, Letting you color his hair gray with hairspray and what not. Even his stubble grows in the winter

-Obviously big into the winter. Always making sure you're staying warm and bundled up. Never lets you leave the house without a coat even.

-Obsessed with hot chocolate and cookies. Always making sure the house is fully stocked for you both as well. Making sure the fireplace is going as well.

-Is clueless when it comes to buying gifts. Allowing you to get whatever you want with and slapping his name on it. He's not got any shame in it either. Always joking he's yet to disappoint you in gift giving.

-Gains a little weight each holiday season because he's obsessed with cookies and sweet treats. Not to mention the way he devours Xmas ham or turkey.

- He's a pro at ice skating. So i firmly believe he loves ice skating dates. Whether this is at a rink or a very safe lake to skate on. And if you don't know it's a bonus, because then he can just teach you (and hold you at the same time) so it's like a win for everyone.

-His preferred way of keeping his head warm in the winter is your thighs. Spending evening curled up between your thighs, intimately or not. When he's eating you out after being out in the cold for too long. Insisting he's warming his face up the best way but burying his face in your cunt.

- Always makes sure your car is warmed up for you and have a warm drink before you go anywhere.

-Always chops down a real tree for your house. Insisting on carrying it inside the house and helping you decorate it. He gets very into it so long as you do also. Wearing matching pjs or sweaters while you do (on his insistence i might add)

Daemon Targaryen:

- Is quite literally the Grinch irl. He's not the biggest fan of the holidays at all actually. One year he got asked to be the Santa at the function and he ended up making a child cry. He was never asked to to it again, or dressing up of any form after that.

-Always grumbles at everything the whole season. From gift buying or giving, to attending any event. But not if it's you asking him. Then he's fine to go to some xmas tree lot on a Saturday morning with only mild complaining.

-Much prefers to be inside, but never turns down a chance at snowy warfare. Especially against his kids or nephews. Then he's not stopping until everyone's surrendered. It's a bigger deal than it needs to be always.

-Prefers to spend the cold nights in bed with you. Naked of course. His favorite is cuddling naked with you, while watching the snow just outside your window fall silently onto the ground.

-Has a holidays tradition of watching classic holidays with you of course. He'll wear the matching pjs but only when it's just you two (or children if you decide to have them) and drinking hot chocolate (his has a little liquor in it it never fails). But as bah humbug as he is he loves the joy on your face of it all.

-After awhile he begins to warm up to the holidays. As as much as the family makes fun of him saying that the Grinch's heart grew three sizes bigger after meeting you, he'll never outwardly admit it. Often randomly decorating the house with lights saying he saw them on sale or some bullshit.

- I think he would love taking you to the Nutcracker every year. There's just something about it to him. He makes a whole day of it, taking you to a luxury restaurant after shopping, and taking you to the ballet. idk.

- He makes the best xmas breakfast/ dinner i'm convinced. Cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, bacon, whatever it is, he's putting his whole back into that morning meal and wears nothing but a proud smirk when you tell him how delicious it is.

-Pulls out no stops to spoil the fuck out of you. Handing you his black amex card and telling you to go crazy and buy whatever you want for xmas.

i have a quite a few jewish mutuals and my personal knowledge of a typical holiday season for jews is very limited.

i know i could go to google and stuff but i thought i would also ask a few blogs who are jewish.

i'm a minor and i go to a catholic school, so my lack of knowledge about judaism has a bit of a reason ^^"

tldr; the question here is how do jewish people celebrate around the typical holiday time? (november/december, sterotypical xmas season for people who celebrate)

So around the christian holiday time there's a single Jewish holiday- Chanuka.

The Jewish calendar is not consistent with the Gregorian one every year, but this year chanukah will be between 25th of December and January the 2nd

Chanuka is a Hebrew word that means "the celebration of the establishment of a new house, factory or other building"

In the case of the holiday, that building is the second temple

The story of Chanukah is beautiful, but if you want the TLDR:

After the conquest of Alexander the Great (refered to as Alexander from macadonia), the Selucid empire controlled Israel. At first they were tolerant of the Jews in the area, but when Antiochus the fourth came around, he imposed a much worse rule, including disallowing Jewish customs and Jewish bible learning, and making the temple Ta'meh (not kosher for sacrifice)

In the city of Modi'in, a resistance grew, and after many battles, they won the fight against the Selucid empire, even though their forces were much fewer and less trained, And established the second Jewish state

The legend says that when they got to the temple and tried to relight the Menorah there, there wasn't any oil good enough for the task anywhere there - only a single beaker of oil with enough oil to light the Menorah for a single day. Regardless, when they tried to light the Menorah with it, G-d made a miracle happen and the beaker lasted for 8 days, enough for new oil to get to Jerusalem

There are various customs of hannukah. Most refer to the oil beaker part for... Ancient political reasons we won't get into right now, but they include eating fried foods and lighting up the Chanukiya (which is a replica which is legally distinct from the Menorah so that it won't be a sin to make it)

There is an ambivalent custom - playing with a dreidel, which is a gambling game with rules I don't remember. On the dreidel 4 letters appear. In the diaspora - נ ג ה ש which is an acronym for נס גדול היה שם. - a great miracle happened there. In Israel the acronym is נ ג ה פ which is an acronym for נס גדול היה פה - a great miracle happened here. In some places, that miracle is the establishment of the state, in others it's the oil beaker

There was a custom inspired by Christmas which is to share chocolate coins with the children on Chanukah. In the diaspora this becomes more and more like Christmas with gifts given on the holiday, while in Israel that custom is, as far as I can tell, slowly disappearing

There is one custom which is definitely war related and not oil related, which is children making re-enactments of the story of Chanukah. It's not very common, but I remember it fondly from my youth

Overall, this episode was AMAZING. The writing was great, the emotional moments hit hard, the animation was great as usual, and the pacing was good, if not a bit clunky. What a great end to the season.

Logan rolls over in bed, pulls a pillow over his face and tries to drown out the noise.

It muffles the sound, but it doesn't go away enough for him to sleep. A quick glance at the alarm clock tells him it's not even eight in the morning yet. 

He throws the pillow on the floor, punches the mattress for good, pouty measure, and stomps out of the bedroom in his boxers. 

It's easy to follow the noise in the small apartment, concentrated in the kitchen. 

Wade's in nothing but his underwear, a tight red pair that says Naughty List across the ass and a Santa hat perched on his head. 

Logan tries to stay angry but it's fading fast. 

Wade swings his hips around to the same Christmas song he's been blasting from his phone speaker all morning. Logan knows he's been listening to the same one on repeat because he's already heard it three times. It had even wormed its way into his dream before it woke him up entirely. 

Wade plops cinnamon rolls from the tube onto a baking sheet while he dances, occasionally spinning around to flip the bacon frying on the stove. 

He doesn't notice Logan leaning against the doorway, fighting hard to keep the smile off his face. 

“Don't you know any other songs?” 

Wade jumps when Logan speaks. Damn near drops a cinnamon roll. 

“You got a problem with the music?” He waves the bacon spatula threateningly in Logan's direction. “This is the best Christmas song that's ever been written. Do not talk shit about Last Christmas in front of me.” 

“It wasn't a bad song until you played it ten times in a row.” 

“One more word about Wham! and I'll eat your ass.” He puts the spatula down and plops another cinnamon roll on the pan. “I meant beat your ass.” 

Logan can't help the smile that tugs at the corner of his lips while he rolls his eyes and pushes off the wall to stand behind Wade in the kitchen, arms around his waist, nose pressing into the side of his neck. 

Wade doesn't let it stop him from dancing around to the song, moving his ass over the front of Logan's hips, so Logan holds him tighter. Breathes him in deeper. 

Things have been so easy for them lately. Logan knows the hardest part of his day will be waiting for Wade to be done making breakfast before he can rip off his stupid festive underwear. 

“Why are you doin’ all this? You hate cooking.” 

“I have to pick Al up at eleven,” Wade says, spinning around to tend to the bacon. Logan goes with him, chest glued to Wade's back. 

“You coulda slept in til ten at least,” Logan mumbles against the skin of Wade's neck. Wade is squirmy under Logan's weight. If Wade's going to be a tease, Logan thinks he's earned the right. “You know I'd make you breakfast.” 

“Wanted some time for just us,” Wade says, and it's so sweet and unexpected Logan damn near cries. “Before everyone else comes over. I was gonna surprise you, but if your super hearing woke you up and you want to keep me company while I cook, well.” He shrugs. Logan kisses his neck. “Then that's just a happy accident, isn't it?”

Logan shoves him off. “You've been eating the fucking cinnamonroll frosting.” 

Wade laughs, and Logan's heart flutters in his chest. It's been years since Logan's celebrated Christmas. Can't even remember the last time he had any interest in decorating, or putting up a tree, or waking up early to make breakfast, but he could get used to it. Whatever it takes to keep Wade laughing, really. Just like that.

I just felt like trying out creating a snow Molluck since there was a "snowman weather" here, like we tend to say here. It's not great, but it was still fun to try to make one. It's just usual that I love to create stuff but the outcome... I mainly do not like my works due to all my flaws I see... Yeah, my own works tend to depress me, since I don't feel like they look good (enough). I wouldn't still like to destroy my snow Molluck, since it would feel like hurting Molluck, and I do not wanna hurt my precious Gluk...

I have been drawing a bit again, even I have felt like I cannot draw a thing... I cannot promise any new art for this year, but I'll see how I feel. I have been thinking about writing one story thing though, but I don't know about publishing it... I do have felt quite awful still, and I feel even sorry for posting this ugly thing, but I don't know, I still try to keep posting stuff... I have just felt like ending this all, yet again, but I still try to keep going. Like, I really felt like I couldn't even make that snow Molluck to look even remotely like him, but I just kept smashing snow together and I could make something Molluck-like eventually. I thought about finding a cigar for him, but didn't still feel like it...

I'm not really an Xmas person, just like the certain atmosphere related to it, and my fave Xmas song suits my depressed mind since it has a part where is sung that life is short, dark, and awful. (Y) I just love that! But I think that it's also saying that one should enjoy the moment. It's been difficult for me for so many years... But I hope that you are able to enjoy this holiday season! I'm not having much holiday myself since I got stuff to do, and I wanna do my own stuff too, no matter how crappy I see my own stuff personally. It's just difficult for me not to do something productive... I can mainly just do nothing for one day before it starts to bother me... So, gotta just keep doing stuff.

It's still Molluck that keeps me going... So, what I have been drawing has been just my self-insert stuff, but I'm talking about only two drawings. I have one idea for New Year too, but I just don't know... I feel like I don't know about publishing my art right now... But yeah, I said that I have been thinking about writing one story thing, and it does relate to my self-insert story with Molluck. I have never written it down, even I keep expanding the story basically every single day... I just would like to write about how my relationship with Molluck started in my story. I have said that it started from me becoming his personal artist, and I do not know anything better... That idea was actually my friend's, which I didn't even like first, because of my self-hatred and how I see my art... But I feel alright with it now, and it sounds like "the most realistic case" related to how I could build such a deep and close relationship with Molluck. There do are difficulties in our relationship, since I cannot escape my mental health issues... And I do need Molluck's comfort to keep going... It's just awful to live with these issues... I don't really feel like handling any knives, because my mind can just tell me to hurt myself with them... I hate it...

It doesn't really help me to be around my family, or any other people, since for example, when I'm in grocery store, I can think of that I should execute myself while I'm doing my shopping there... Sometimes, I'm about to cry in public when I think about stuff like this... I just tend to feel suicidal quite often... It's making me feel sorry for reminding of my existence with this post... But I'm still trying to keep this blog up and running... I feel like it could be some good therapy for me to write how our love story started, since I tend to feel like I'm not lovable... But I can still feel like Molluck loves me and doesn't wish to give up. I know that Molluck is fictional, but at the same time, I feel like he "lives", but inside my head. When I feel bad, I tend to hear him calling my name and feel his affectionate touch... (It's all my imagination and feel this only that way, but those thoughts come like "by itself".) One side of Molluck might be awful, but I see him as such a sweet Gluk toward me. I love Moluuck with my whole heart, and I feel like he loves me too... I do not care how "delusional" this can sound; it's what keeps me alive... It might be a part of my brain's survival mechanism or something. Molluck just means a lot to me and helps me with falling asleep too, since I tend to feel too stressed out or suicidal to be able to sleep, so he helps me to calm down...

Yeah, I don't really know what to write here, since I just feel sorry right now... I don't even wanna think about what like my life would be without Molluck, or if I had it anymore... I do not wish to ruin anyone's mood here. This is just my own suffering, no need to take part in it. It's probably better to just stop here, I feel like I'm probably gonna cry soon... I hope that you are feeling better than me.

I'm still probably gonna do one New Year post, did I draw something new for it or not, since I feel like "What the odd man?!" when I look at how much Molluck stuff I have created this year... I didn't feel like drawing anything for Xmas since that last piece took that much stime and effort, but I also don't feel like drawing anything Xmas related right now... I'm just too depressed for that...

(New) Cannon/ Mostly Cannon Facts About Ozzie.

JMI's new livestream was today, and you can guess who watched it lol. Anyway, here's Part One if y'all want to check it out.

DISCLAIMER: Take all of this with a pinch of salt because most of this is just what JMI thinks. Also I came in 12 minutes late so I may have missed something. Now let's get to it.

Ozzie and bee get along relatively well. In JMI's words, "they have their moments" and "they know how the hierarchy SHOULD work." Interesting...

If Oz could play a role in a broadway musical he would probably be the Moulin Rouge ringleader. Though JMI thinks it funny if he played George Washington from Hamilton and he wish's Ozzie could've played Phantom, but he's too sexy. (Ozzie as Phantom? TAKE MY MONEY AND TAKE IT NOW.)

Oz could squish mammon in full form just because he is way taller. (but that's likely WITHOUT them using magic.)

Fizz and Oz wedding? JMI has no clue but if there was it would be fire.

The song Oz would listen to and repeat would be (and he sings this part so I don't know if it a song or lyric) "can't get enough of your love, baby" because in his words, Ozzie "can't get enough of his love". The SWEETNESS AAGGGHHH.

Ozzie and Lucifer PROBABLY get along well. As long as Oz does his job and they don't mess with each other, they really don't have a reason to hate.

Ozzie probably likes Xmas carols cuz they're catchy.

Fizz is an awful cook. In JMI's words (in the Ozzie voice), he's "so cute, so sexy, but can't cook worth a damn." I mean we knew that but the way I bust out laughing XD.

Ozzie's fav food is may be barbecue ribs and wings (cannibalism??) But that may be (and most likely is) JMI projecting.

If Oz were to give Fizz Flowers, they would be white and blue roses (JMI admits that is cheesy. Which yes, but it's oh so in character for the both of them XD).

JMI SAID IT'S CANNON THAT OZ DOES NOT HOW TO USE ELECTRONICS THAT IS SO FUNNY.

(NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY BUT HE SAID HI TO MEEEE AAAGGHHHHH.)

Oz probably likes cheese (though JMI DOESN'T.)

Not a fact but a fan said Ozzie brand cereal would be called Ozzie-O's and I love that.

If the Ozzie liking barbecue wings is NOT cannon, then he may be horrified to see his workers eating Chicken.

Oz still not big on valentines.

He and Fizz WOULD sing "Baby It's Cold Outside" but Fizz would likely change it to (and I once again quote) "nasty, nasty lyrics".

And that's it folks. Once again, JMI is awesome, we love him, and Ozzie still remains one of my favorite characters.
