Christmas train station

In collaboration with @baumgarten-sims and @sims4luxury, a Christmas railway station has been created on a 40x50 lot. Christmas stalls have been set up in front of the station building. Some people are out and about to make a quick trip to their loved ones or to stroll through the Christmas stalls and shops. Your sim can enjoy pizza, hot drinks and other delicacies at the small Christmas stalls or your Sims can show off their skills on Baumgarten's functioning skating rink. Inside the station building there are two shops, a cozy bakery with all kinds of treats and hot drinks. Opposite is a cozy bookshop, which also sells all kinds of Christmas decorations and small gifts for children. On the station platform, the Polar Express stands in all its splendor with two train compartments. The train is pulled by a magnificent locomotive, which was not built by me but by @simsnam. (You can download it for free in the gallery under the name Steam Locomotive train).  One is a food wagon (works like a restaurant) and the other is a small bar with a poker table. Sims4luxury supported me with the perfect chairs, cushions and Christmas garlands.

Happy 1st of December from the Tulpar Ship! I’m currently crocheting some snowmen and christmas decorations to make the ship abit more 'christmassy'. I've poked my finger a couple times with the crochet hook but all is swell!

Christmas is a nice time. But overwhelming when you don't know how to show your appreciation.

Often around Christmas, I'm really happy I get all these things and I deeply appreciate everything I get because someone really thought of me when picking it out. But my tone of voice and my facial expressions fail to show all these things. It's worse when they all wanna take pictures of you and record you, it feels humiliating almost, because it feels like you have to force these expressions, these tones, and it doesn't feel right. You often wish it would come more naturally, not only just Christmas, but any time you get gifts. Often times you resort to words, exclaiming thank you's over and over and I love this so much and other words, but it feels like its never enough. And at the end of the day it ends up feeling overwhelming, leaving you with a mix of happiness and disappointment. It's okay to struggle with these things, its a part of you and me. Just know someone will understand and appreciate your happiness towards their gifts no matter what you show. Most don't understand because it's too hard to communicate why you can't react like how you want. People are often too puzzled by those things, by things they can't relate with. But I promise you're not the only one goes through this, I do too, and many others. I'm here for you Even when it feels like no one else is.
