Jogos Souls: Repensando a Dificuldade e Novos Modos

É intrigante como muitos não perceberam que estão reduzindo a essência do estilo que tanto "amam" a apenas uma coisa: a dificuldade. Os jogos Souls são muito mais do que isso. A introdução de um modo de dificuldade não vai alterar drasticamente o jogo; em vez disso, abre oportunidades para aqueles que, de outra forma, não conseguiriam aproveitá-lo.

Para mim, a série The Witcher exemplifica isso perfeitamente com o modo "marcha da morte". Sempre recomendo aos jogadores que voltem ao game e experimentem esse modo, pois ele proporciona uma perspectiva completamente nova do jogo, permitindo que você se sinta como um verdadeiro witcher.

No entanto, se alguém deseja apenas jogar casualmente e aproveitar o jogo à sua maneira, qual é o problema nisso?

Eu continuo aproveitando meu jogo da maneira que desejo, e outra pessoa faz o mesmo, cada um à sua maneira. E qual é o problema se alguém escolher abordar um jogo Souls de uma maneira diferente?

Se alguém deseja apreciar as trilhas sonoras, o design de níveis e contemplar o universo que foi criado, qual é o problema?

Na minha opinião, a abertura de novas portas para diferentes públicos pode acontecer mais cedo ou mais tarde. No entanto, mesmo que não aconteça, o estilo de jogo continuará vivo.

Então, você acha que os jogos Souls precisam da dificuldade para serem considerados verdadeiros jogos Souls? A resposta pode ser pessoal, mas, no final das contas, o que importa é que cada jogador tenha a liberdade de abordar esses jogos à sua maneira se os criadores permitirem isso, sem julgamentos.

Mas quero deixar aqui agora um pouco da opinião sobre a dificuldade do próprio , é uma visão valida fazendo eu ficar numa linha tênue para aprovar os dois lados pois vejo sentido em ambos. Tirando o lado hipócrita claro, que fala que tem que zerar o jogo de forma raiz mas na primeira oportunidade coloca mago, invoca companheiros e usa de limitações propositais no mapa pra acabar com o inimigo em segundos.

Essa visão é muito bonita e mostra os verdadeiros propósitos, não conectado exclusivamente a dificuldade e sim a mensagem que passa através dela.

Are you organized? Do you throw everything into a chest and let it sit until you go looking for it? Do you press auto sort, and is that enough for you to navigate your storage? Do you colour-code your chests and know exactly where everything is? Are your chests spread out in different parts of your farm- different parts of the map???

Do you play with or without headphones? Do you listen to the soundtrack or maybe have something else playing in the background??

Do you romance the same person every time? Have you made multiple saves to try out different layouts and pets and and and...tell me everything!! 🥺
