My name is Samantha Ann Mulder. I am the daughter to Teena and William Mulder. My brother is Fox Mulder. I have not seen any of them for a very, very long time. I barely remember their faces and their names, but I keep repeating those things so that I don't forget completely. My life was pretty normal for the first few years of life. But then one day I started to feel off. I had a headache, ear ache, buzzing in the ear, and even a few nosebleeds. I got taken to a lot of appointments and was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer. The doctor's couldn't treat it. They didn't know what to do. As they were planning, or maybe this was part of the plan I was abducted by Aliens. Right from my bed. I was whisked away to outer space. They barely spoke to me. I barely spoke to them. I slept a lot. I think they put me in a coma or something at one point. There's not a whole lot I remember. But there were lots of wires and tests and medications. It wasn't fun. The first human I ever got to see on this ship was a lady with the prettiest red hair I'd ever seen. I don't know why the aliens did that. But they tested on her just like they tested on me. Knowing how scary this place was, I comfort her as much as I can. I can't do a lot though. I get tired easily and have to rest a lot. I struggle with my hearing, swallowing and dizziness. I sometimes feel real sad and can't help but cry. The aliens had kept me to try and help improve that, which I guess I understand. I do want to go home. I want to find Fox in particular - although I don't know why. I'm glad to be here because the red-haired lady needs comfort (at least I think so). She doesn't stay long though. I don't know how long I am here after meeting the redhead. But her absence leads me feeling very lonely. Maybe the aliens sensed that. Maybe not. But, while in a deep sleep, I find myself transported to Earth. What am I supposed to do? Will someone help me? Will I find my brother and the redhead?

I don’t think there is an official X-File RPG. Weird. Anyway, this is Conspiracy X (1997), the unofficial X-Files RPG. You probably have a good idea of where this is going just looking at the cover. Extraterrestrials are real. The government knows about them. The supernatural is real, too. All of it! And most of the conspiracy theories tied to aliens and the supernatural. And the government knows all about all of it, sort of. That’s where the players come in, containing menaces, unraveling mysteries and dealing with the other government agents who want to use all this for their own gain. Just like the TV show this is totally not based directly on.

Similarly, the game uses a system that requires you spend points to gain abilities. A sort of point-buy system. Again, it has nothing to do with GURPS, another point-based system with a long history of enthusing over conspiracy theories (and, actually, it WOULD have everything to do with GURPS in a later edition that is just, Powered by GURPS).

This might sound like I don’t like Conspiracy X, or that I think it is a low rent Delta Green. The latter is true, but not the former: I LOVE Conspiracy X. It is so on the nose, and in being so clearly a reflection of the X-Files and the conspiracy theories that show was enamored with, the game is a sort of snapshot of the ‘90s weirdo horror culture, uncomplicated by “it was Cthulhu all along” meta-twists. It’s the X-Files RPG in all but name, and it is greater for having to file off the serial numbers.

OH! The best part. Players can always attempt to use their “Psychic Abilities.” They do so by picking a Zener card symbol (You know the psychic test scene in the beginning of Ghostbusters? Those.). The GM draws a number of cards equal to the character’s psychic ability. If the symbol the player picked is among them, the action succeeds! AMAZING. This should be used in every game from now on.

21+. She/Her. Looking for 21+ writing partners for my canon x canon ships for my five biggest fandom obsessions right now.

I write on Discord or through Tumblr messages. Third person, past tense and typically around 200-400 words. I work full-time during the week so I can't guarantee daily replies. I try to get them up as soon as I can, which may only be a day or could be closer to 3-5 days, so patience is a must. I don't expect perfect grammar but average to above average is what I tend to look for. I may ask for a writing sample, and you may ask me for the same.

Mostly the obvious - I will not write inappropriate content that involves minors in any way. I don't typically write gore either, but this is not "taboo" per se. I'm pretty open about sensitive topics so... As in my header, anything that might be sensitive or a trigger will be tagged as such. Please block my UHCGtw and/or UHCGexplicit tag if you do not wish to see this content.
