“The more grateful I am, the more beauty I see.” • WOW-what a weekend. There are so many moments I want to reflect on... • Every six months I write a goals sheet. I review the previous six month’s goals and update accordingly. The last goals sheet I updated included a portion that read: “Compete at Wodapalooza.” I can now say that I’ve done that. • This was the biggest competition I’ve competed at so far in my career. To say I’m proud of myself would be an understatement. • As a coach, athlete, and teammate, I am so unbelievably proud of the two women who stood on either side of me. This weekend confirmed that we are on the right path. • To the true heart and soul of our team- @vannadine9992 @csoupik @maddstuff @bradley_hansen THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. “There are only two times in life-now and too late.” • WOW-WHAT. A. WEEKEND. I can’t even begin to describe how much fun I had! Never practicing the WODs and having a member of the team get hurt and having to fill her spot just four days before competition day aren’t the best circumstances. But you do what you can with what you have where you are 🤷🏽‍♀️ You can’t control the #unknown and #unknowable so what do you do? You control what you can. That’s exactly what @danagp35, @jessica.kenia80, and I set out to do this weekend. Our goal was to have fun in the moment. To be present. To look around. To not take this too seriously. To do OUR best individually and for the team. The goal was never to “win.” That just happened to be an added bonus 😜 I could not be more proud of this team 🤗 • The heart and soul of this team was actually not the team at all. It was the AMAZINGLY LOUD support system we had. From our voice of reason @kriggs35, to the sign my best friend made @ruggedandrelentless, to the cheerleader @csoupik, to the media team @maddstuff, to the mom @vannadine9992, and to the girl who is responsible for us even being able to sign up in the first place @anne_amelia...THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for always showing up in the moments that matter 💚 There is no way this weekend would have been what it was without yous.
