"does things based almost solely on whether or not he wants to, at one point in the series, he doesn't tell the rest of the cast that he can fly a spaceship because he doesn't feel like it. he also take everything everyone else tells him seriously, such as when another character he knew as a kid said they were going to get married one day, he took it very seriously and was confused when said character tried to confess her feelings again and he said he thought their promise from when they were kids was still on."

For the Halloween celebration, he convinced his dorm to theme themselves after his favorite B horror movie, constantly infodumping to people about it and going all out in recreating the special effects. In Book 5, he has a minor background arc of being forced to do public speaking. In another Halloween event, he was forced to be a back-up singer and managed to pull through despite the social anxiety. He’s the most autistic student in all of Night Raven College and possibly in all of Twisted Wonderland too."

whilst a ruthless warrior, he lacks some of valter's more unhinged and bloodthirsty personality traits. he also lacks elincia's warmth and frankly thinks both of his parents are weirdos

cold and aloof to most people, with maybe the exception of his younger siblings (tbd!). my boy just is not a people person, even when he tries.

is actually very warm and gentle and sweet with animals though! especially ones that other people consider scary or ugly

has no interest in being a prince or inheriting the throne and intends to run off and join a band of mercs once he's of age and finds one good enough for him

ends up not having to run off after all! elincia is uh... concerned about the whole merc thing but ultimately his family appreciate him as he is. in their own way.

is absolutely terrible at healing magic. tried to learn it from his mother because it's useful but will probably cause you to lose health if he heals you

as a result he always carries a first aid kick. slap a bandaid on it and walk it off.

took piano lessons as part of his noble upbringing and whilst he stopped lessons he never stopped playing in secret. don't mention it though or he may have to kill you

Yo, you can call me Wyv on here, I use it/it’s pronouns on here, but i’m also chill with she/her or he/him. I’m 18 years old and have always identified as nonhuman (I was that person who created the wolf pack in primary school) and i’ve been lurking in otherkin communities since 2018. I am mostly a spiritual kin (I believe my kintypes are past lives) but I am also somewhat psychological. I’ve been made fun of for these traits too much to care if someone things it’s cringe, so don’t bother.

my main identity is a dragon! I am one. Woo!

I have three dragon kintypes, an Ice/storm dragon (very large and lived alone in high mountains), my most dear kin memory of flying through a storm is from this one. Another is a Forest wyvern, where I was small and extremely excitable and social. The third is some kinda space/void dragon, I lived a very long time and travelled between constellations. They are all me, and I have given up trying to justify it.

I am also a cat therian, though I am not as sure as to the specifics. I often feel like a white house cat. My last important identify is angelkin, but that one is a much deeper and confusing identity.

NEP essay: The Vois

1) what is Vois theory?

Vois theory is a conjecture about the nature, and more specifically, the origin of our universe. Vois theory states, quite simply, that reality as we know it did not form gradually under its own circumstances, but rather via a sudden process caused by the simultaneous interaction of numerous universes.

2) What universes?

Kylologists such as myself, who study the history of the origins of this world before year 1, have narrowed down a minimum inventory of at least x universes, though the upper number is still unknown. These are as follows, named after the sapient species to have originated in them:

Elvolycanic universe, anthropic universe, draconic universe, wyvernic universe, ornithomeridic universe, and formic universe, but these are simply what are definitive and confirmed. Many more played a role in the birth of this reality, and investigation into these is ongoing

3) What kinds of universes?

After careful analysis, it has been demonstrated that all known influences to our reality fall into one of two categories:

The first is those that seemed to be orchestrated around a central conflict, with all but on group of beings in the world having failed to resolve it and the given group nearly succeeding before the universe is suddenly interrupted by the collision. This category is referred to as protagonistic universes, with various protagonistic realities seeming to have different themes and central conflicts

The second are much more vague, and are identifiable in the sense of being common "themes". A key example is the overabundance of themes centered on the numbers 6, 7, and 8, and color wheels, which applies everywhere from the fundamentals of magic to massive things such as the planets of our solar system, and even 6 cube-form stars visible at night. These are referred to as thematic universes, due to their seeming incorporeal nature.

4) Where did those realities come from then?

After careful retrospective analysis of these worlds, kylologists have come to the conclusion that answering this question is simply impossible within the realm of our own universe. Sadly, some questions truly are unknowable.

Yeah well scratch that. You live long enough, you figure it out, everyone would if they were ancient enough in this 0-forsaken universe. So, here's the thing: the Vois is fiction. I don't just mean as in "oh this is unreality and I'm clarifying". No I mean, the Vois is literally what fiction is from your perspective. Whenever you people have an idea, the universe you're in checks if it's factually accurate, and if not? Boom, a new world is made in the Vois where it's true. Every idea you've had, every lie you've told, every mistake in logic you make, a world is made around that.

We're stuck in this weirdo reality cuz someone up where you guys are made a big fucking mistake, and there was one too many realities right up all touchy-touchy

Okay so for the director's cut I wanted to ask about that dragon fic you wrote! I remember you mentioning you had a lot of lore and I'm curious!! Any fun lore info you can share??

Oh the dragons! Yes, I do have plenty of lore about that! Congrats on unlocking a whole thing here!

So just to like refresh - Cloud is a wyrm in that fic, Genesis a wyvern, Angeal, Sephiroth and Zack dragons. Now dragons in that universe are mostly solitary, each dragon has their own territory, and they usually only share with their mate or their children, with young dragons leaving to get their own territory once they can fend for themselves. This is for a simple reason, which is that dragons are huge. They're top of the food chain massive predators and a huge resources drain.

Wyverns have this like semi-social structure where you have a sort of "alpha" wyvern and a handful of subordinate ones, each subordinate has their own territory and the alpha's territory overlaps with theirs. That being said, these are still small groups with huge territories, because again massive predators here.

So the arrangement of three dragons + one wyvern kind of all in the same space is very weird, and it's all because Sephiroth is this absolute weirdo who thinks hoarding other dragons is a normal thing to do. And this leads to some fun issues because like. Genesis, as a wyvern, at least has some idea of what it is to exist in a group. He desperately needs to assert his dominance because he doesn't like Sephiroth being the "alpha" but he can deal. Angeal and Zack (and Sephiroth)? These are not social creatures. Their idea of friendship is talking to another dragon at the border of their territory, going "good talk", and not seeing them again for the next thirty years.

Basically the dragons ended up becoming mates because... They just don't have the instincts to do anything else. If you share a territory, and they're not your child, they must be your mate. Anything else makes dragon.exe crash.

Which is also kind of how Sephiroth convinced them to join his hoard anyways. It was such a ridiculous request that Angeal and Zack just didn't know what else to say.

And then you have Cloud, and wyrms are a very different thing! Wyrms are for starters much smaller than dragons. They're very long, but in a snake-like way, and overall have a lot less bulk. They also have a very different metabolism. Dragons and wyverns are hot blooded, while wyrms are cold blooded. This means wyrm need a lot less food than dragons, and it also means while dragons and wyverns are active all year wyrms have a mandatory winter long nap.

Now wyrms live in groups, they've got a wolf pack like kind of social structure. They also hunt different pray than dragons - dragons fly, so they do best snatching animals from large open spaces, wyrms instead are good at stalking things through the forest. Because of this, some dragons don't mind wyrm packs hanging out in their territory. Which is how Cloud ended up part of this - he settled in Zack's territory, and Zack took a liking to him.

It's actually more complicated than that, to be honest. Cloud and Zack got along, and he also saw Genesis and Angeal from time to time, but for a long time he never met Sephiroth. The problem is that, like all of those terrible big lizards, Cloud keeps a hoard and growing his hoard often means stealing from humans. He was also eating people's sheep a lot. A wyrm pack can protect itself without problem if humans decide to fight back, but Cloud was on his own, and humans came for him while he was in the middle of winter hibernation. He was forced to escape, but with how cold it was he was too sluggish to hunt, and there was nowhere for him to retreat.

Sephiroth ended up finding Cloud while he was wandering around, and decided he liked him enough to keep him. He made Cloud transform into a human form to carry him around (wyrms have a certain amount of magic, but one of the limitations is that they can't use it to warm themselves) and dragged him to his cave. The becoming someone's hoard thing was pretty weird for Cloud, but he got a pack out of it, and also a lot of large warm people to sleep on during winter, so it was a pretty good deal.

Also if you want to know why Cloud was alone in the first place and not in a pack, it's because of his scales. Wyrms are usually green or brown, and that's good for blending in with the forest. Cloud has a rare mutation that makes his scales gold, and that's a problem, because it makes him far easier to spot when he hunts. Wyrms as a whole consider golden wyrms unlucky, so Cloud had to leave his birth pack and wasn't able to find another one.

As a last fun fact - dragons and wyverns look very similar, while wyrms seem kind of their own thing. In reality, wyverns are much more closely related to wyrms, and the only reason they resemble dragons is convergent evolution and the fact that dragons and wyverns developed in different parts of the world to fill the same niche.
