998: W.S.Q.
Which stands for "World Saxophone Quartet" - this is the kind of album that I'm here for. The whole reason that I'm even doing this to begin with. To expose the ears, soul, and mind to things I would otherwise not so easily stumble upon.
Essentially this album is a saxophone choir humming (and sing-screaming) only the freest of free avant-garde jazz. It's challenging but somewhat reachable - it's advanced jazz reserved for the diehards, noise-lovers, and the weird-sax-sounds enthusiasts.
Personnel includes:
Hamiet Bluiett — baritone saxophone Julius Hemphill — alto saxophone Oliver Lake — alto saxophone David Murray — tenor saxophone
As a student of jazz over here, I really enjoyed this particular assignment. I'll be thinking about this one for a while.
noteworthy tracks: Plain Song, W.s.q, Suite Music, Fast Life

Saw some footage from a weird event at Washington square park this weekend where people were clothing-optional under some sort of water feature. I can’t imagine what might compel anyone to be barefoot in water at Washington square park, which is a particularly gross location if only because last time I was there in the dead of winter, the ground was littered w hypothermic needles and empty dime bags. Also it’s only ever women with like D+ sized breasts that go topless etc at protests and these weird sort of things, which is interesting

Training, consulting services: Part of tertiary sectors its significance
The proven and effective approach of improvising the efficiency of organizational relationship building and the performance of the staff and team members is generally achieved through systematic training either by in-house training or by enrolling in a training center. This process is an effective method to bring about positive changes in an organization. Although training and consultancy services have meanings and definitions that differ theoretically, and practically they are closely related to human resources and business management.
While training can be said to bring about changes through instruction and learning where development is associated with the progress of the organization. Features of training have connections to ancient civilizations, where certain things were taught in order to achieve and accomplish the desired goals. The next phase in the evolution of training was by the method of trial and error, that is a method or strategy would be proposed and implemented to see how it works out and modifications were later brought about to correct the flaws or it would be totally removed if it work. However, this was replaced by the semi-modern era, where new training methods such as television, computers, analysis of case studies, and voluntary role-playing came into extensive usage and became actively integrated into almost all industries. The later part of the 20 century gave way to allied research topics, and then evolved team training, cross-training, and individual bespoke training.
Tumblr media
Then in the next phase, the concept of analysing the impact of training was conducted to find out if the process needed any more amendments or would be good enough to achieve the desired goals. The intention of bringing into focus this aspect was to find out how the employees who underwent training perceived and implemented the concepts taught in the training programs. Nevertheless, this new concept encouraged the gathering of information for the evaluation, of the implemented training sessions. The inclusion of cross-cultural training, individual employee bespoke training led to the framing of novel and innovative training programs which grew increasingly popular, thereby influencing the employees with the concept of lifelong learning.
Training centres like the training masters further developed these concepts into more sophisticated and advanced methodologies and meticulously framed training that offers customized training in segments like WSQ food hygiene course, people and performance management, cleaning service, effectiveness management, leadership training, and much more.

WHIT TIME LOOP THEORY – EXPLAINED
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Veronikas rambling about the book is during her intro and the text on white background is a hidden text on DRDT tumblr page..
1. FOREVER DEAD
The hidden text and Forever Dead are really similar, I highlighted the parts that re connected / similar
Frist, the protagonist of Forever Dead is a boy, so saying this could also be about Veronika ( there are mentions about " boredom " and Veronika is the one telling Teruko and Xander about the book in the frist place ) doesnt make sense;
Whits secret quote is " We tend to idolize dead ", and both the book and Wsq is related to death. ( Its obv possible that the quote is about his mother but its not directly stated, and ofc even if it is, it doesnt have to be ONLY abt his mom )
2. WHITS INTUITION
Its highlighted so far 3 times in DRDT ( and definitely will be more ), and yea thats suspicious. What if Whits intuiton is infact not that amazing that he can even predict things ( one example: the " Do you really think shed be HANGING out in a playground rn ? ", and yea it could be just a joke put there by DRDTdev BUT !!! or when he said that his intuiton is telling him that him and Charles will become good friends someday ), but he just knows what will happen and how the situations will play out because hes been throught them before for MANY times
3. 4TH WALL
Whit broke the 4th wall few times, directly talking to US - the viewers, or doing things benefiting us, even if it doesnt make sense in his place. For example: when SHOWING the characters special weapons list and then talking directly to the audience, or when in early-mid (chapter 2 episode 10) trial asked what is Edens secret because "he forgot" and Ace said that he didnt had to ask because he can just simply look up at the monitor where are all the secret displayed, its like Whit did it so WE can get reminded which secret are already revealed and belong to who.
4. FORESHADOWING
Also Whit foreshadowed things too, for example AGAIN the Arei hanging out at playground scene
( small theory, that can later on be evidence for this theory too: in prologue, during Charles intro, he joked about Charles being " pronounced dead at 3 ", so if Charles will die in 3rd chapter or in any chapter during 3 AM / PM, it will be a HUGE evidence for this theory )
5. " BACK ON THE RIGHT TRACK "
There were situations where Whit brought DRDT " back on the right track " or made the kg more interesting, like when he protected / revealed Charles hemophobia during trial 1, because he knew that if everyone voted Charles as the culprit the kg would end ( and cmon TV show ending so quickly would be no fun !!!.. Also why would he start the time loop again so early on ??? )
Or when he didnt helped during the chapter 2 episode 4 fight, or when he didnt revealed Davids secret until he was literally forced too
6. POSSIBILITIES
1. He is the mastermind and wants to entertain the audience as much as he can, and since he knows what will happen anyways, he can direct what situations he will let play out and what not, so it wont he boring for us
2. Hes not the mastermind but he is stuck in the time loop so he wants to entertain himself as much as he can, in the hidden text on tumblr page there is mention of constant boredom, so naturally he wants to entertain himself as much as he possibly can to not feel it
He, of course, can be the mm and want to entertain himself too, or not be the mm but he will atleast make it that way so we wont be as bored as he is now - he will make the TV show entertaining
7. WHITS PERSONALITY
If Whit was put throught so many loops or stuck in this kg for " eternity " wouldnt he act cold or emotionless, or atleast not how he acts now ??? Yea maybe, but think about it, if he was a bitch, distant, cold or mean to everyone – no one would like him, or if he took it to extreme people would avoid him even ( MAYBE minus Veronika but im sure he would get pretty fed up with her after a while ), and the consequences of people ignoring / avoiding him ??? More boredom... which he already is REALLY bored so why would he make it even worse for himself ??
8. " KILL TERUKO TAWAKI "
I think its pretty clear ( or atleast very possible ) that the one who wrote the " kill Teruko Tawaki " note is the mastermind
The note looks like its written in a specific type of blue pen which we didnt see in the series yet, and you know who special pen/s which no one in the cast would find / have ( minus Min ) ??? – Whit !!! His special weapon is stationary, which is known as writing and other office materials ( including pens duh ). But Charles would call Whit out since he knows Whits handwriting and saw the ktt note ??? Yea no.. Charles canonicaly doesnt remember much from frist trial, so I rlly doubt that he remembers how ( handwriting ) the note looked like. It couldnt be Whit who wrote the note cuz he canonicaly dots his i / js with hearts !! But is it that hard to not do that while writing something you dont want anyone to know that you wrote it.. and honestly i think anyone in his position and who wantes to push the kg further, they would atleast slightly change their handwriting.. Whit really isnt dumb
9. WHITS REACTION TO DEATHS/ EXTREME SITUATIONS
After Mins execution, everyone was disturbed or shocked, even VERONIKA, but Whits reaction was " jeez, thats terrible ",, he didnt had disturbed or shocked sprite either, he even joked about her execution later on in the series
Or his reaction to Areis death, it was another emotionless " oops, thats not good :P ", and as far as we know Whit and Arei were atleast kinda friends
Plus his reaction to Terukos soon execution, and Levi bleeding out on the floor from several shot wounds
His ass did NOT cared, he only wanted to make sure Charles is alright, thats suspicious. Wouldnt he be atleast little worried for Teruko ( which he considers a friend ) and then Levi ????
Unless he knows that they will survive this, because he saw it happen before or hes just desensitized from having to watch his classmates / friends die over and over and over and over
10. DAVIDS MV
During Davids MV, during the part where we saw youtube comments, there were comments about antagonist and mastermind, the oldest being from 10 years ago and newest from 1 second ago. That could suggest that noting really changes, like in a time loop, unless SOMEONE aware does something diffrently
11. COLORS..?
This is a strech but id still like to mention it, Whits least fav color is gray because its " boring "
Also MonoTV said that its favorite colors are blue ( Whits eyes ) and yellow ( Whits hair, theyre blonde but blonde is still a shade of yellow )
12. THE WHIT SPRITE
During the frist not sane Whit sprite scene in chapter 2 episode 16, Whit REALLY looks like hes hiding something behind his back
I think if hes the mastermind he has his own remote to activate traps etc. and hes the one who locked the elevator or he tried to open it with his remote and for some reason he couldnt so thats why we got this sprite
And if hes not the mastermind i think he took something out of broken MonoTV / something that fell out of MonoTV when Ace punched it, when cast was distracted with Levi and was just stressed that someone saw him do it or allat didnt happened in previous loops so it took him off guard

So I have seen many posts talking about how Mike and Will have shared many scenes in s5, more than Mike and El. I was a bit sceptical, but here's a list of some scenes.
Scenes that we know for sure that Mike and Will are together:
Riding their bikes with Holly
Conversation on the wsq radio station
At the farm with Robin and probably many characters more
The flashback
When the party join hands
Now this is speculation:
A scene in the hospital (idk if it was confirmed that Will was there, but Jonathan, Nancy, Joyce, Karen and Mike were)
At the Wheelers’ house (there’s a rumour that Will’s actor was filming that day, but it’s not confirmed)
Scenes that we know Mike and El are together
Their conversation at the rooftop of wsq radio
These are speculation:
The field scene (for a bts and a leak about a kiss, but idk how trustworthy it is)
Probably at the mansion, but other characters were also there, including Will.
And that’s it for now…

Blog Post #2
Q # 1: In what ways are intersectional groups of women and other cultures overlooked when analyzing the cybercommunities of women online? (Daniels, 2009)
Daniels (2009) states in her article that gender is often separated from investigating online media use, while other marginalizing factors, such as race, socio-economic status, etc., are usually not thought of. One of the most prominent examples she provides is when looking at an Asian participant within a previous study, who looked at pro-ana content online and how “real life” social isolation, disconnect, and the body embodiment and community they sought online.
Q # 2: Have the people who benefit from cyberfeminist communities changed over time?
Online cyberfeminist communities are cited as areas of information, exploration, civil engagement, and collectivity for individuals of varying gender identities and experiences. Whether it is through online representation and exploring outside of their physical bodies to find identity, or it is connecting with one's bodies in a way that is nonnormalized in society, women and gender minority individuals can use these spaces to explore and connect in a way that may not be socially available to them (Daniels 2009). However, are they the only ones benefitting from these online spaces? If we think about today's technology, we do not often have separate websites for activism like we did in 2009. Instead, we use pre-established social media applications (X, Discord, Facebook) to create these spaces. Is it possible that these cyberfeminist communities are now not only in benefit women and gender minority individuals, but also in benefit of these companies?
Q #3: In what ways are marginalized and minoritized groups disproportionately affected by the automation of government and political processes?
Minoritized and marginalized groups are often categorized in ways that are stereotype-fulfilling, usually harming individuals who are marginalized based on race or socioeconomic status. Eubanks (2018) discusses this in their article: automated eligibility resources often monitor and overclassify individuals of low economic status in positions of “fraud,” such as her husband being put after having to switch insurances because they switched jobs. Not only do the systems themselves cause this issue, but the verification and ratification of these issues also disproportionately affect individuals of low income, as the extensive time that it takes to rectify these wrongs often involves a strenuous, long process for the wronged. Individuals who are low income, working, etc. They may not have the social support or the financial freedom to take the time to rectify these issues, causing them to be affected much worse than others with those resources.
Q #4: Why does there seem to be little push for reform for these automated technological issues?
As Brown (2020) alludes to in her video, the assumption and prioritization of “fairness and safety” tend to override the blatant harm many of these automated systems have on marginalized members of society. However, Brown also points out that the United States spends more on healthcare than any developed country, yet it still has the worst outcomes of any developed nation. It may be possible that the lack of reform for these automated technological issues stems from the fact that automation saves money for hospitals on labor and that although these issues occur, they often happen to populations who are a lot less likely to actively fight against the system, because of factors listed in the above question.

Technology Bias - Fuchs' 6 Dimensions of Critical Theory
After reading Rethinking Cyberfeminisms by J. Daniels, Automating Inequality (Introduction) by V. Eubanks, and watching Nicole Brown: Race and Technology, these are some of the questions I've come up with using Christian Fuchs' Six Dimensions of Critical Theory frameworks:
1: In Automating Inequality, Eubanks argued that technology can put many underrepresented groups/communities at a disadvantage. How are biases presented within these automated systems, and what can we do to prevent biases?
Some bias automated systems presented today that causes harm to marginalized communities can include but are not limited to, welfare programs, criminal justice, and hiring procedurals. These systems show signs of biases and inequality through algorithms and automated decision-making code that tends to target low-income individuals or people of color. To be more specific, welfare programs often deny or push back grants/benefits to those who needs them the most simply because of a system glitch. On the other hand, automated decision-making in hiring algorithms may rule out candidates from underserved communities, resulting in an economic opportunities limitation. In order to prevent or minimize these biases from continuing, several steps can be taken to increase system fairnesses. Firstly, governments and companies should increase public transparency and accountability by disclosing how their automated algorithms function as well as being accountable for their bias actions or results. Secondly, governments and businesses should increase human intervention during decision making instead of depending solely on automated decision-makers. Thirdly, government and companies should include diverse perspectives from different backgrounds when developing automated systems to reduce bias.
Eubanks, V. (n.d.). Automating Inequality. uCoz. https://tetrazolelover.at.ua/virginia_eubanks-automating_inequality-how_high-te.pdf
2: In Rethinking Cyberfeminisms, Daniels questions the idea that the internet is a safe space for empowering women. How does this belief conceal the ongoing gender disproportionate in the digital world?
Digital media platforms are often advertised as a safe space for all individuals to express their thoughts and even gender identity. However, even in today world, one of the biggest concerns that continue to occur is online harassment and cyber bullying. This issue often target women, women of color, and even those in the LGBTQ+ community. One of the reasons behind this issue ties back to gender inequality in the tech industry today. Most tech companies are dominated by men regardless of advocation for women in techs. Due to the lack of gender diversity in technological development, most algorithms and AI development tools are often designed in disregard to women's needs. As a result, we often see AI systems such as voice assistant (Siri) defaulting to submissive female voices, or facial recognition function performing poorly on people of color.
Daniels, J. (2009). Rethinking Cyberfeminism(s): Race, Gender, and Embodiment. WSQ: Women's Studies Quarterly 37(1), 101-124. https://dx.doi.org/10.1353/wsq.0.0158.
3. In Race and Technology introduced by Nicole Brown, the assistant professor discussed racism in the tech world as well as the political economy. How do money-driven part of business causes racial and gender inequality to persist?
It is uncommon to witness deceptive business practices in today's world regardless of how big a company may be or the many regulations that has been passed. This tie back to the lack of gender diversity in tech companies, which results in poor technological development. For example, the majority of tech executives are made up of white males, therefore, judgements and perspectives of marginalized groups are often neglected. As a result, bias in products such as surveillance cameras sold to law enforcement agencies has a higher percentage of misidentification between Black and Brown people which leads to wrongful arrest and over-policing. Overall, gender and racial inequality continue to persist today as greed often overtake ethics, causing businessmen to commit wrongful acts although they didn't mean any ill intention.
Brown, N. (n.d.). Race and Technology. YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8uiAjigKy8
4. What are some ways people can practice to fight for equality, inclusivity, and a fairer system within the digital world?
To fight for equality and inclusivity is a work of a nation, not just an individual alone. This process requires a great amount of policy reforms as well as advocacy and activisms of collective groups. In order to minimize bias in technology, we can demand changes by speaking the truth and exposing unfairness in technology products. Furthermore, companies should place a higher priority for policy reforms and be held accountable for any bias decision-making. Additionally, to ensure that the future of technology is just and fair, it's crucial that we promote and encourage women and people of color to pursue careers in tech. Finally, we as users of digital products should take actions by educating ourselves on the important of utilizing technologies responsibly and how to recognize biases in the digital space.

Mastering Incident Investigation: Key Strategies for Effective Workplace Safety Management
Workplace safety is essential for maintaining a productive environment. When accidents or near misses occur, Incident Investigation plays a critical role in preventing recurrence. This post explores key strategies for effectively investigating incidents and enhancing workplace safety.
Incident investigation involves uncovering the root causes of workplace accidents to prevent future incidents. It’s vital to any safety management system, to ensure lessons are learned and corrective actions are implemented. Effective investigations help create safer work environments, reduce costs, and improve employee morale.
Key Strategies for Effective Incident Investigation
Establish a Structured Approach
Establishing a systematic process is crucial to ensuring a thorough incident investigation. This includes identifying the incident, gathering evidence, and conducting interviews with involved personnel. A structured approach ensures no detail is overlooked and allows for consistent application across various incidents.
Documentation of the event timeline, conditions, and contributing factors is essential. Using tools like root cause analysis, you can pinpoint underlying issues that might not be immediately apparent.
Encourage Open Communication
An important aspect of an effective incident investigation is encouraging employees to report incidents without fear of repercussions. Open communication fosters a culture of transparency, where safety concerns are raised and addressed promptly.
A no-blame culture should be cultivated, as it helps investigators gain a clearer understanding of the sequence of events leading to an incident. This also encourages employees to provide honest insights that could be crucial in preventing future accidents.
Conclusion
Mastering the art of Incident Investigation requires a structured approach, open communication, and thorough analysis. By identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures, organizations can enhance workplace safety and minimize future risks.

Critical Thinking and Cyberfeminism - Blog #2
In regards to social media communication, what role does ‘Power’ play in our daily lives? -Power is a challenging concept when it comes to social media access and ultimately means that one group has more influence on society at the expense of another group. Who holds the power is an important question and therefore who is powerless or lacks certain advantages. Currently, power is held mostly by rich politicians, companies, and influencers that use these benefits to their advantage and systematically ignores the status of company workers or employees that creates an even larger wealth gap. Communication power can be a tool, or a weapon, that should be used to uplift unheard marginalized voices, but given its historical context this isn't the case(Fuchs, 2014, p. 7-8).
Why is Critical Thinking so important now more than ever? -Critical theory and thinking challenges the white, masculine, cisgender, and heteronormative system that surrounds how our country is governed through policies and media content. With the current high rise of social media comes an abundant amount of misinformation that can quickly spread like wildfires. These suppressive systems we live in, don't want the public questioning the information given out, which is a huge concern. Historically news and media has almost never been for the marginalized voices and instead has been used as a form of suppression to control the public opinion and sway biases. Critical thinking is more vital than ever these days because it constantly challenges the concepts of what is true and works to create equitable representation. It's a constant battle to remove the structures of domination and exploitation against marginalized communities and voices(Fuchs, 2014, p. 10-11).
How has Cyberfeminism been used to improve the lives of women globally? -Cyberfeminism is a movement that utilizes technology to fight against gender inequality and discrimination by organizing and sharing spaces with different individuals globally. Cyber feminists have created several global social movements that fight against gender inequality, for example the Revolutionary Association of Women of Afghanistan to oppose the Taliban’s cruel treatment of women's daily lives. The heightened access to the global internet has linked common experiences shared by women who face specific gender disparities based on class, race, religion and location. Ultimately cyberfeminism has advanced the feminist movements to share safe spaces and communities under the same goal of building equality for all(Daniels, 2009, p. 103-108).
What does Cyberfeminism look like for QLBT women? -Already Cyberfeminism is building safe spaces for different types of women and individuals to find commonality and build communities. Specifically regarding queer and trans women, the internet has been a huge resource to find information and a sense of community that resists the suppression of gender and sexuality identities. The global access to the internet was an extremely positive change for the trans community because it shared information on what transitioning looks like(social and medical) and how to find access in the medical field. This not only aided trans people but has helped normalize these unique experiences of gender expression and social constructs. Now in 2025 this is still the case, many trans women, including myself, go onto the internet to find our own research and shared experiences. It gives us access to talk and listen to others who have been or going through gender transition to share their experiences, expectations, and growth as people(Daniels, 2009, p. 113-115).
