Hiatus Notice

Hi all, didn't want to make this post on my birthday, but I do need to do it now: I'm going to need to take a hiatus from drawing due to my wrist being hurt again.

Anyone who watches my streams knows that I still try and do my stretches while working all the time, so getting hurt again so badly that I can't work at all is nothing short of completely devastating to me. I have spent most of my time crying nonstop about it. All I can do now is the proper next steps...stop and rest, talk to my doctor about it, and hopefully get any physical or massage therapy I need so that I can recover and get back to work ASAP.

I don't know what my timetable for recovery would be right now, but I'm really hoping it's not as long as last time. I just know I won't be able to share any art until I'm better and can draw regularly again.

This just sucks because I already feel like I've been slow at things, and I had multiple things in the works...Eldritchrune comics, and also a project I was working on for the next anniversary. I apologize that it's going to be a wait before I can share any art again...even once I get back into drawing, my job still comes first.

I will update here more once I hopefully know what to do from my doctor, and I can still answer asks, but no art for awhile. I'm so sorry about the wait...trust me when I say this is my biggest nightmare, and I've been an emotional wreck about it.

And artists: please learn from my miseries and take care of yourselves, especially if you draw professionally. Take breaks, stretch frequently, drink lots of water, do NOT overwork, listen to your body, listen to your doctors and therapists. The world doesn't treat us as such, especially nowadays, but you are athletes. Take care of your body the same way an athlete would.

and as promised here is also progress pics, harvested from when i sent screenshots to friends as i worked. as a bonus ive also included various layer names and the 5 different names the file went thru. the parts i [very lazily] painted over with dark blue had not been done yet, ergo anything with dark blue over it is just the picture itself so do not regard it

i will now be nice to myself and work on my fanfic and smaller drawings for a while. i will do eye posts sometimes still when i get a slow day and wanna do some peepers for 3 hours, i have collected many eyes [klinger, fr mulcahy, trapper, margaret, charles, hawkeye, bj. ive been busy stealing eyeballs to paint on. theyre all on one document its pretty funny]. i will be doing my best to force the cast into my style so i can do quick stuff.

i also WILL do more paintings of full shots again, but. fellas. ive done 3 back to back full paintings with no other digital art projects in between.

this has been NOT good planning lol

Wrist Health Update

Hey all, I thought I'd give an update regarding my wrist injury and recovery: I'm currently seeing a physiotherapist and (less frequently) a RMT to try and get my wrist all recovered. I've got exercise and strength training regimens to do in addition to appointments for getting the muscles worked on.

I'm still working hard trying to get it all better, but the most frustrating part about injuries like this is that it takes a long time to get back to 100%. If this is about the same as last time I was injured, I expect that I won't be back to normal (i.e. able to draw full days both for work and my fandom stuff without issue) until the end of the year/start of next year.

That said, that doesn't mean there will be no art from me! I'm trying to ease back into drawing with small amounts of time each day, seeing how much work I'm able to tolerate. Right now it's not more than 1-2 hours a day, all spaced out. So I'm trying to make a little progress on some fandom stuff. With a lot of luck (and exercise), I may be able to finish the short DR project I was doing by next month, and then another Eldritchrune comic after that.

However, that will probably slow down again once I try to go back to my job, which I'm hoping to do at the end of the month. Considering I've already missed way more work (and paychecks) than I'd like, even part-time work is going to take priority. And in general any drawing I'm doing for pay (like Patreon) will come first.

So, that's all to say: I'm getting professional help on getting better, I'm making sure to do my stretches and exercises, and I can tell I'm SLOWLY but steadily improving. There will be art, but it will likely be slow and spaced out for the rest of the year. I'm not sure when it will be safe to do art streams again, but in the meanwhile I can manage some game streams! And I can still answer questions or do discussions from the inbox!

Thanks so much again for being patient! I wish recovery was a faster deal!

Does anyone know the truth about them? Like, are they fine with one or two learning or is it a deeply guarded secret? Or do they just, never bother in asking?

This is interesting, because although they try in some way to maintain their identity as a "non-lamb" (the lamb hood, the white fleece and the "no words outside the cult" thing), it's not like they completely disguises it. They literally have orange fur and a tail under the fleece. So, anyone who wants to know the truth doesn't have to look too hard.

But, despite everything, they are still the one who bears the red crown and is carrying out the "mission" that TOWW entrusted to them.

Regarding those who know, question it or don't know, we have this 3 groups (I didn't draw everyone btw, but I think you can get the idea):

Those who know do nothing with that information. Those who have questioned it prefer not to investigate further and finally, the only ones who matter don't know, so everything continues.

And then, we have the gruop full of people that just...Don't care. At all:
