My 10th anniversary being a fan of Wreck it Ralph
The summary of all this is that I'm going to upload all my content I have been working on since 2014, but because two of my former friends started harassing me and judging my asexuality and aromanticism after I rejected one of them from forming a relationship, they made me feel insecure and humiliated. This led to a crisis, and I ended up deleting a large part of my content. (This is also why I have become so shy and have come to hate my art so much. Currently, I am forcing myself to get out of a crisis by job hunting and obsessing once again over WIR, so finally (for my very old followers) I will be posting for the rest of the year what for me are 10 years of obsession.
Enjoy :)

Happy 12th Anniversary, Wreck-It Ralph fandom!
Happy Birthday to this fandom! On this day in 2012, the first trailer for Wreck-It Ralph debuted at E3 and we got our first sneak peek into the world of Litwak's Arcade. This was the establishment of the movie's fandom, and where the speculation and anticipation began!
As is my personal tradition every year, I'd like to thank all of the Wreckling friends I've made in this fandom for their support, the great times we've had together, and all the creative works we (and WIR) have all inspired each other to make! And of course a big thanks to the cast and crew of the movie for making something so extremely special to me, which brought me together with good friends in continued appreciation of the characters, story, and world of the arcade.
It's been a pretty interesting year so far, with appearances of the Core Four and King Candy/Turbo in Speedstorn and the latter in Magic Kingdoms, as well as some merchandise and never-before-seen WIR concept art and storyboards from story artist Jed Diffenderfer. I wonder if this is a coincidence or if there's something special on the way?
It makes me happy to still see so much love in this fandom after all this time! Here's to us celebrating many more anniversaries together!

I was not immune to bedroom eyes King Candy pin and now I have him. It’s so tiny compared to my other pins, but the wheels move on this one, too! 💕 If I’m not mistaken, it’s the only pin of him with his racing helmet and goggles, and ngl, him pulling them up like they were shades is actually so cute<3
Also I really like the little touch of the WIR logo with the number “10” on the back to show it was on the movie’s 10th year anniversary. (Under cut)

Well everyone, here we are at the end of another Pin Post Month! My goodness has it been fun to reminisce and talk about these pins. So many of which had interesting backgrounds and origins that I personally got to learn a little more about when writing their post.
Sadly though things must come to an end, and with the end of November we also see the event begin to wrap up with this final post as well. This Pin Post Month has probably been one of the most difficult ones for me so far, simply because of my new work and living situation. Though I'm glad to see that these posts were still enjoyed by pin and Wreck-it Ralph fans despite the change in things. Throughout the month there were many moments of excitement and wonder while doing research for some of these pins. Such as the Harmony in Color pin from last night which lead me to watching videos of the parade and learning about its history.
Of course there will be more pins like that as there are plenty more to share! This year has been a good one for WIR pin collectors, and I've already started pulling together the skeleton for what will be next years tenth annual Pin Post Month! It's both exciting and strange just thinking about how I'll soon have managed to host this event for a full ten years. Of course though this wouldn't have been possible without the WIR community that was so welcoming to me all those years ago, as well as those who have followed this event all this time. Each night your comments and tags brought such a smile to my face, they were literally one of the highlights of my days! Making me consider aspects about each pin I hadn't considered, while also pointing out details I either misses or hadn't had the room in the post to point out myself. It brings me so much delight in seeing other people share their love for the movie and these pins after each post, and I appreciate each and every interaction.
I suppose it is time to wrap things up as the month too comes to a close. Though before I do, I ask if anyone has some thoughts on the past month's Pin Post Month as well as any ideas on how to make it better next year. Since it will be the tenth year of hosting this event, I kind of want to make it special so I would love to hear any thoughts on how to do so.
With that said, I hope that you all have a wonderful evening and smooth days ahead of you in the following month. I'll see you all next year!

Caught (Extended)
(( An extended version/different perspective of the ‘Little Moment’ I wrote titled ‘Caught’. It’s been a long time since I sort of dove in to how nasty and controlling I feel Gene can be, particularly towards Felix, who doesn’t know how to handle it. This has potential to be a multi-part fic, but we shall see! )) -----
“Has anyone seen Felix?” Gene raised his tiny arms in exasperation. The Nicelanders bustling around him shook their heads and shrugged.
“Oh I’m sure he’ll turn up soon! Don’t you worry,” Mary plastered on a smile, carrying a freshly baked pie.
“No, something is wrong. I can feel it,” the mayor wiggled his mustache after polishing off his morning martini. “I’m going to check on him.”
Gene had knocked a total of three times on the superintendent’s apartment door, which was uncharacteristically locked. Luckily for him, as the landlord, he had a copy of the keys. Flipping through his ring, he inserted the correct key into the knob and opened the door to a quiet living room.
“Felix?” Gene huffed as he searched the area. His eyes narrowed as he turned to the closed door into the handyman’s bedroom. Determined to get to the bottom of things, the tiny man burst in through the door, his anger growing when he spotted a sleeping lump in the bed.
“Felix!” he shouted. “What’s gotten into you? The arcade opens in five minutes!”
The handyman shot up, shirtless, slowly followed by a second figure; a tall, blonde woman with hardly anything on.
“What the—Who the?!” The mayor could barely string words together, his face turning red.
“Gene!” Felix squeaked, hopping off the mattress, just in his boxers as he attempted to usher the Nicelander out the door. “Please! Let Miss Calhoun and I get decent!”
“You?!” Gene remembered that name, having briefly met the sergeant at a party a week ago. He’d hardly recognized her without all that ghastly armor on.
“Nice of you to remember me,” Tamora smirked over her shoulder, pulling up her camo pants.
“Her?!” the mayor spat at Felix. The handyman’s face soured and he pushed Gene through the bedroom door, locking it.
Felix's face glowed bright red as he turned around to face his lady. Grabbing two fistfuls of his light brown hair, he let out a long, tapered whine as he suppressed a scream.
“I knew this would happen,” he berated himself. “I mean, I didn’t know. But I did.”
“Deep breaths, Fix-It.”
“How are you so calm?” the 8-bit was beside himself. “You were half naked in front of a strange man!”
“Being one of the very few women in the corps, you get desensitized to that pretty quickly,” Tamora explained. “Sorry to tell you, but you’re far from the only man I’ve ever undressed in front of. Besides, who cares what that little squeaker toy thinks?”
“I do!” the handyman lamented as he pulled up his jeans. “Tammy, I live with these people. I work with them and for them every single day. For thirty years I’ve been their perfect, dedicated and trustworthy hero. And now that pretty picture they’ve painted of me will forever be tarnished…”
“You sure know how to make a girl feel special,” the sergeant quipped.
“I’m serious, Tammy,” Felix whimpered. “You don’t know what they can be like, how Gene can be when he disapproves…”
Tamora’s wry smile withered, but before she could reach out a fevered knocking rapped at the handyman’s door.
“Three minutes!” Gene shouted from the other side.
“Save yourself, my lady,” Felix whispered, throwing open his window that led out to the fire escape. Handing the sergeant her cruiser as she ducked through the opening, he gave a quick peck on the cheek. “I’ll see you at quittin’ time.”
“I’ll be waiting,” she smiled, grasping his white shirt collar to give the handyman a proper parting kiss. He couldn’t help the pang of uncertainty as she took off.
Turning around, Felix grabbed his work shirt, slipping it on before thrusting open his bedroom door.
“Uh-huh,” Gene huffed, zoning in on the open window behind the hero. “Sneaking off like a two-bit criminal. You sure know how to pick ‘em.”
“Do I?” Felix spoke impassively, brushing past the mayor and finishing buttoning up his uniform.
“Oh you sure do,” Gene insisted, shadowing the handyman as he walked to the entryway where his toolbelt hung on the wall. “First Pauline, and now…this woman!”
“Tamora,” Felix corrected, exiting the apartment with the mayor at his heels. “And as I recall, you all did the matchmaking when it came to Pauline and I…”
“Biggest mistake I ever made,” Gene huffed, bumping into the handyman when he turned around.
“Can I remind you that the major problem you had with Pauline is that she had an amicable relationship with Donkey Kong, and advocated the concept that ‘good’ and ‘bad’ went beyond our programming? And now we all know that she was right.”
His point made, Felix continued down the hall and to the stairwell, ignoring the tenants that peeked out of their apartments curiously as the arguing pair strolled by.
“She was a troublemaker, and a bad influence,” Gene huffed, trying to keep up with the handyman as they descended. “And clearly this Tamora is no different.”
“I’m starting to think that you just don’t want me to be happy,” Felix said in an eerily calm tone.
“That’s ridiculous. We just want the best for you. We’ve done nothing but love and support you all these years!”
A pit formed in the handyman’s stomach, all too familiar with his turning point in their arguments. Face flushing and heart beat rising, Felix wished for an escape as he burst through the double doors to the outside. Tucking in his shirt and pulling the rest of himself together, he made for his starting position.
“It’s always like this with you,” Gene wagged a stubby finger, barking at the handyman’s ankles still. “One little thing doesn’t go your way, you act like a petulant child!
Felix stood on his mark, brows furrowed and heart crumbling.
“Arcade’s opening,” he murmured, hesitant to say more. He unconsciously held his breath until the mayor left his side to enter the building. Letting it out with a shaky exhale, the handyman steeled himself, eager to get through the day…
“Uh, hey–” a welcomed voice approached gently.
“Ralph,” Felix spun around, struggling to tamp down his agitation as he put on his gloves. “Do me a favor and please throw our dear mayor as hard and as far as you can today.” He took a moment to look up into his friend’s wide, unblinking eyes. “Just chuck him, please.”

King Candy/Turbo is one of the best Disney villains ever with so many clever hints that he doesn’t belong in Sugar Rush and that Vanellope is the game’s true ruler:
The fact he resembles an American 50s cartoon character while all the other Sugar Rush racers have an anime-esque design, along with his simple name (King Candy) compared to their vibrant pun-based names (Taffyta Muttonfudge, Snowanna Rainbeau, Jubileena Bing-Bing, etc)
The announcer for his name sounding different from the other racers’ names being announced, as if he voiced it himself.
His code box being gigantic to match the size of his ego.
The camera panning through Litwak’s Arcade at the beginning showing Vanellope’s picture on the side of the game cabinet, driving the kart that King Candy uses.
King Candy’s castle being coloured pink (or salmon, as he insists), a colour many would find more suiting for a little girl.
Vanellope being the only character who has “von” in her name, which is usually used for people of nobility.
King Candy being the only one in Sugar Rush who recognises Ralph, given that Fix-It Felix Jr. was right next to his old game Turbo Time.
Vanellope improving her driving skills quickly, hinting that she really is part of the game.
King Candy having the Konami Code written on a napkin from Tappers, hinting he was part of the arcade before Sugar Rush got plugged in.

Happy 10th anniversary to “Wreck-It Ralph”!!! I can’t believe it’s already been a decade 😲 This movie came out when I was 12 and, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really interested in it at first 😶😅 I think when I started to see some of my friends get into it is when I really started to pay attention to it, developing the biggest crush on adorable Felix, a great admiration for Calhoun’s bad@ss self, and of course, loving every bit of their super cute chemistry together 🥰 From thereon, it was hardcore shipping of these two and endless scouring the Internet for as much fanarts and fanfics of them xD As I still sit and decide when I am going to make my own art or story of my favorite OTP, Here is my contribution to the month-long celebration of the movie, a Hero’s Cuties collage :)

Happy 10th Anniversary Wreck it Ralph!
Time really does fly doesn't it? I was in school when this incredible film came out and now I'm one year out of Uni.
The Wreck it Ralph fandom was the first one I ever joined and it was my introduction to Internet culture as well as video game culture as a whole.
Extra shout out to Sonic! If it wasn't for that blue hedgehog being on that poster, I wouldn't have watched a film that led me down a whole new career path and I wouldn't be where I am today!
Below is one of my first fanarts I ever made! (This was in 2013 I think?) Its crazy that you can still see it's my art style even back then lmao!
Happy Anniversary everyone! ❤💙💛💚

Happy 11th Anniversary, Wreck-It Ralph!
Tumblr media
Another year is upon us, and I'd like to express my annual thanks for this fantastic movie, its creative crew, and all of the friends I've made in this lovely fandom!
I honestly can't believe it's been 11 years already (it feels like we just celebrated the 10th anniversary, and the 5th one right before that), but every year there's been plenty of awesome stories, art, headcanons, and general goofing around together. It's really a blast how we inspire each other and bounce ideas around to make amazing things!
As usual there's way too many Wrecklings to tag, but you all know who you are out there. Much appreciation to all of you special people! Here's to many more years of our friendship, creativity, and enjoyment of this movie and its universe. I love you guys, and keep wreckin'!

Today is the 5th anniversary of Ralph Breaks The Internet/ Wreck It Ralph 2 in 2018.
But these are the heroes for me that made me want to see the movie, even though they never interacted. ^w^
Some people came for the princesses, but I came for them.

Hello there everyone! Welcome to the first night of the ninth annual Wreck-it Ralph Pin Post Month!
Tonight we're starting big with the DS, Wreck-it Ralph, Awkward Moments Series, Wreck-it Ralph pin, LR.
This pin features a few awkward moments from the Wreck-it Ralph movie, as well as one that can be considered a little more heartwarming. The first being a moment between Ralph and Vanellope in one of the earliest periods of their friendship. The second being that awkward moment Ralph found himself trapped in sweets, just seconds before Wynnchell walked up to arrest the unfortunate wrecker. Then finally that moment when Ralph found himself not only in a pool of mud, but chocolate mud which of course he likes even less then the regular stuff. Each of these comedic moments are cleverly contained in a clapperboard with the words "Awkward Moments" on the nameplate. While being shown using a two-sided slider gimmick combined with the common pin on pin design.
Honestly the second moment is definitely the one I would call the most awkward. I've definitely turned away with a chuckle hiding behind my hand during this moment in the movie. I also believe that these were good points in the movie chosen for this pin, as while each of them can be considered awkward in their own ways. But they're from brief yet memorable points for fans of the film. The only part of this pin that I would improve upon is Wynnchell, as without his chocolate glaze he seems a little plain. It certainly does add to the awkwardness of the pin, though I don't believe that was what the artists were thinking of when designing this pin.

(( Hey folks! Happy 11th Fandom Anniversary! This is a fic that I’ve been carving away at for a long time, it was a difficult one to get just right. It’s very slight hurt/comfort, but mostly just two very different people coming together for a genuine conversation. Enjoy! )) -------------------
Laying on his back on the soft, dewey grass, Ralph let out a contented sigh. Quietly, he soaked in the serene atmosphere of his home, reflecting on just how much had changed in the short time since he went ‘Turbo.’
The Nicelanders were being nice, and he had people he could actually call friends. Among those few was Felix, his in-game sworn enemy, and someone Ralph had previously looked towards with envy…Something had clicked down in that sugary jail cell that fateful day, and the thirty year rift between them suddenly didn’t seem so wide.
“You doing okay there, Ralph?”
The wrecker looked up into the worried eyes of the handyman himself. Boy, his ears must have been burning.
“Oh hey,” Ralph smiled, sitting up. “Yeah, I’m good. This is just my ‘Thinkin’ Spot.’”
Felix smiled back, relieved. And as a brief silence passed between them, the wrecker could tell there was something buried behind those blue eyes, clouding them. He’d seen glimpses of this far-off look all week; between quarter drops, at the end of the work day, even in the mornings as everyone took their positions. If there was anyone who looked like they needed some time in the ‘Thinkin’ Spot,’ it was Fix-It Felix Jr.
“May I join you?” The smaller man asked gently.
“Knock yourself out,” Ralph patted the spot on the lawn next to him. “I was about to say…you seem like you could use it.”
Felix let out a nervous chuckle as he folded his legs to sit. “Is it that obvious?” he said.
“Maybe I’m just observant,” Ralph scratched the back of his head awkwardly. “I’ve done my fair share of ‘people watching’ over the years…But c’mon, you guys already kissed, just ask her out already!”
The 8-bits face grew red, a bashful smile playing on his lips.
“There’s a lot more to it than that Ralph,” Felix sighed.
“Look, here—” Ralph dug his fingers into the chest pocket of his overalls, revealing a large gold medal tied with a blue ribbon. “I’ve been trudging through the woods every night looking for this so I can return it. You can come with me when I do and ask her then.”
The handyman seemed touched.
“That’s a very kind thing for you to do, I’m sure she’ll really appreciate that.”
“Being your wingman?”
“No!” Felix tittered. “Returning the medal!”
When the laughter died down between them, that doleful look came right back where it was on the handyman’s face.
“Ralph, there’s something else…” he bit his lip, head starting to shake slowly as he chose his next words.
“I’m sorry,” Felix said with such sincerity that it threw the wrecker for a loop. “I am so sorry for what you’ve been through these past thirty years.”
Ralph’s chest tightened, a small lump forming in his throat. He didn’t even know he needed to hear those words. A small hand grazed his upper arm.
“And I’m sorry for the part I played in all of it,” Felix continued.
Ralph suppressed some tears as he chuckled.
“C’mon,” he waved it off. “Most people were scared, or just outright hated my guts. But you… you were actually nice to me.”
In fact, he’d taken advantage of that niceness to get into the 30th Anniversary party.
The handyman’s face twisted in a way that was hard to read. “Maybe I was nice,” he sighed. “But I sure wasn’t kind.”
“Okay, you’re losing me here,” Ralph kept his lighthearted manner. For all he knew, those two words meant the same thing.
Felix flashed a bashful smile.
“What I mean is…I’m a people pleaser, Ralph. And that’s something I’ve been more or less told over the years by various friends that I did not listen to…‘till recently.”
Ralph blinked, curious as to where all this was going.
“I want to be liked, and I don't like conflict…I’d do whatever I could to avoid it, even if that meant saying or doing things that maybe I didn’t really agree with.”
Felix briefly looked around, as if he thought someone else might be listening. Ralph remained quiet, eager to hear whatever came next; there was a lot more to the bright-eyed handyman than he thought.
“And among the people I sought to please the most were the Nicelanders… It's part of the job, right? I was scared that night, when you showed up at the penthouse door. But I wasn’t scared of you,” Felix admitted with a gulp.
The wrecker’s brows raised, his mind flooding with the implications of what that meant. “Ralph, I had a whole room of people expecting me to get rid of you, and I…I couldn't. I did the nice thing, and invited you in… But then I just let Gene talk to you the way that he did,” Felix sighed, pulling off his baseball cap and kneading it in his hands. “If I was a kinder person, I wouldn’t have let any of that mess happen. You deserved to be there, just like everyone else.”
Ralph nodded gently, starting to get the gist of what the handyman was trying to say.
“I appreciate the apology, Felix. Just know that what happened at the anniversary party…I don’t hold any of that against you,” the wrecker leaned back on his hands, looking up at the stars. He found his coworker’s honesty inspiring.
“For a really long time, I wanted the life that you have,” he said. “Pies, medals, adoring fans; the whole shebang. I had convinced myself that’s what I needed to be happy.”
Ralph chuckled at himself, shaking his head slightly.
“Turns out I just needed friends. Like Vanellope,” the wrecker pushed his elbow against the handyman sitting beside him playfully. “And like you,” he added with a smile. Felix laughed softly, putting his cap back on.
“Besides, if I were the Good Guy, I’d have Gene hanging around me all day. No thanks.”
“He is a handful,” the handyman sighed. “He’s warming up to you though.”
“Oh yeah, real cozy,” Ralph’s voice dripped with sarcasm. A brief silence passed between the two. Felix took in a breath and held it a moment as he knotted his fingers together.
“When you went ‘Turbo,’ my life was turned completely on its head,” he spoke fondly. “And you showed me what being good really looks like.”
“I did?” The wrecker was genuinely surprised. The handyman nodded.
“Ralph, dragging me out into the arcade woke me up to just how complacent I’ve been…I don’t want to be the person I was on the night of our anniversary. If you’ve got a problem that needs fixing, or need someone to talk to…I’m here.”
“Thanks, Felix. That means a lot,” Ralph cleared his throat to try to keep those strong emotions at bay. “And, y’know…the same goes for you too. This has been really nice, talking to you like this.”
“It has,” the handyman agreed. “I hope I didn’t disrupt your evening too much, this is your spot after all.”
“N-no, no, please, come and go as you like,” Ralph stumbled over his words. “To be honest, I think I like it better when it’s shared.”
Felix had moved to get up, but slowly settled back down with the wrecker’s reassurance.
“If you don’t mind me asking…” the handyman twiddled his thumbs. “What were you thinking about before I came along?”
“Oh, a lot of things,” Ralph puttered, laying back on the lawn. “The kid, you, the Nicelanders. Just how much has changed, and how nice it’s been…”
A gentle smile crossed Felix’s face. “Good,” he said as he joined his friend in laying down, looking up into the night sky.
“And,” Ralph sighed, once more pulling the Medal of Heroes from his chest pocket. “Trying to figure out what to say when I give this back…That lady you like, scares me. And I don’t think she likes me very much…”
“Ooh, she was not happy,” Felix giggled. “But… I think you’ll find that she respects your efforts to fix the mess you made, and the heroism you showed. You saved Vanellope, and all of ‘Sugar Rush.’ I don’t believe Tamora was going to blow the exit with the two of you inside; that would have killed me…so we would have been toast along with the rest of the arcade if you hadn’t—”
The handyman paused, reeling slightly from the thoughts of what could have been.
“You’re our hero, Ralph,” Felix said sincerely. “I hope she lets you keep it.”
The larger man was humbled by those words, taking a moment to brush his thumb over the word ‘Hero’ engraved on the medals surface.
“Ah, even if she doesn’t…” he said, reaching just under his shirt collar to reveal his handmade cookie medal from Vanellope. “This is all I’ll ever need.”
“That is a good one,” the handyman concurred. “How is she, by the way?”
“She’s doing great, the gamers love her,” Ralph grinned. “Y’know, you can join me in watching the Roster Races sometime—Ooh! You could ask Sarge to come too, it’ll make for a good first date.”
“Raaaalph,” Felix droned with a lighthearted groan. “Alright, I’ll go with you and ask her.”
“Oh thank the Mods,” the wrecker let out a sigh of relief. “I think she’s less likely to punch me if you’re there.”
“So that’s why you’re so adamant,” the handyman rolled his eyes.
“Part of it,” Ralph admitted. “But I also think you two would be good together.”
“Thanks, brother. I hope so…” Felix smiled, feeling lighter. “I think the four of us made for a pretty good team.”
“Yeah,” the large man agreed, his heart full as he looked up to the stars. “I think so too.”
