I don't know if anyone's caught this - I haven't seen any posts about it, but I might've missed them - but, I was going through the screencaps of WIR again...

So, when Ralph puts on Markowski's helmet, there's a bunch of stuff that pops up - including "unread messages." The screencaps were a bit blurry and I had to squint to be able to make out the words but the messages are between Calhoun and Marcos (guessing there's a Hero's Duty Groupchat or something?)

Yeah I had to enhance the fuck out of this to be able to read it but here's the messages

Calhoun: Have any of you (??) seen Markowski?

Marcos: Haven't seen him since 03:00 hours, Sarge.

Calhoun: What is he doing? Practicing his ballet?

Marcos: He was freaking out, Sarge. Kept going on about the bugs...

Marcos: I don't know if he's Corps Material, Ma'am.

Calhoun: Corps Material or not, if he doesn't get his bright, shiny boots...

Calhoun (continued) : Back to start pose by quarter drop, I'll have him transferred.

Finally, I am able to share the art and, for now, all the information of my as-yet-unnamed WIR AU.

Sonich (@sonichxh) assisted with the organization of the information.

Let's start with Turbo Time and Road Blasters. In my AU, Turbo was a pioneer in game jumping, and he didn't understand the consequences that this could have. They also planned to turn off Turbo Time anyway, as they considered it unprofitable, so Turbo wanted to help his game. In addition, his decision was directly influenced by his life goals, which are to keep the players' attention on himself and his game. That's why, as soon as Road Blasters outshines the rest of the racing games, Turbo is consumed by envy and resentment. When, through his fault, both games are unexpectedly turned off, along with all their characters, it becomes a traumatic event for him - after all, he did not expect such terrible consequences. Turbo continues to hide and pretend to be dead, fearing that the characters of other games will kill him when they see him, because he has heard with what hatred they are talking about him now. When Sugar Rush appears, he decides that this game is a chance for a new life, as a new character in a new game.So he decides to fit himself into the game, but without planning to throw out Vanellope. Driven by his resentment, he wanted to be one of the centers of attention, and so he chooses the role of king. And since Vanellope is a princess, the role of his daughter is added to her. So he has to change her code a lot, because of his lack of professionalism in programming, in the process he tritely breaks her code, which makes her buggy and glitchy. He is afraid that now he will bury this game, too, remembering the experience with Turbo Time and Road Blasters, and therefore decides to throw out Vanellope and comes up with a story that she was thought of as part of the game, but in the end she was not finished, but forgot to delete it correctly. Worrying about the safety of the game, he does everything to keep it out of people's sight and remain an outcast. The consequence of all this is her distrust of others and a nagging sense of doubt about the authenticity of what is happening.

Left = the Turbo we know and love, before he got a bit too silly - Right = how I HC him before he became the arcade's big shot!

I'd like to believe that Turbo started dabbling in messing with code while he was still in Turbo Time. He slightly changed his appearance — giving himself a mullet — after being inspired by some of the players. It was the 80s after all, lol!

I also HC that, as he became more and more obsessed with winning and keeping his spot in Litwak's arcade, he ran himself ragged. Hence why "fresh" Turbo looks a lot healthier and not as skeletal.

My guy was burning himself out trying to stay on top.
