#wreck it Ralph infection

Greetings fellow's of the Wreck-It-Ralph fandom.

I hearby announced I have an idea for a... Wreck-It-Ralph infection au... Involving a cybug...

So this au start's off with a cybug egg and turbo who just randomly decided to check out hero's duty for some reason, and in this au, turbo doesn't actually go turbo, instead he's somewhat a decent person...for once...

So he's checking out hero's duty and spots a cybug egg and just decides to get close to take a good look at it, and also mind you...

Turbo actually snuck into hero's duty to check out how it really is, did he think how stupid this is? Yes, Did he also decided to just do it? Also Yes.

So turbo is like really close to the cybug egg and for some reason the egg looks a little funny... Wonder if the floating particles are supposed to be there...

Then suddenly, the egg just hatches, for whatever reason that, might have been a little to close to it...

So turbo freaks out and may or not have slipped and hit his head on a rock... Wow great start we heading on too 😃👍

So turbo's just laying there, unconscious and the baby cybug just... Gets inside him... Like through his mouth... Like actually...? Idk

So yeah... after a couple of hours, turbo wakes up and sees that the baby cybug is nowhere to be found... strange.

So he hears the arcade is about to open and hurries and while also managing to sneak back out of hero's duty

So he's back in his game and is doing fine...for the moment..and just feels kinda funny... In his inside's...hmm must've have drank to much at tappers...

After the day finishes, he heads on onto tappers to get some root beer with his fellow racer's, Zip and Zap, and while their enjoying their time together turbo felt something, now he's confused on where he's feeling right now... Feels like.. it's in his inside's..

Then The twins gets worried over him, asking if he's ok and if he wants to go back.

And turbo just shrugs it off, saying he's fine and just need to slow down on the beer... He thinks...

So a couple of days go by, like 3 or 4 day at most and turbo is starting to feel funny... especially his inside's...

And The twins notices this and nearly asks him everyday if he's ok or if he needs to see Felix to get better using he's hammer.

But turbo doesn't want to disturb Felix and Calhoun's honeymoon and once again just shrugs it off saying he's alrighty and all that... Despite him looking real tired...he sure does put up a good act...

So it's day 5 and he visits sugar rush and meets up with KC who's role in the kingdom is to be a guidance to the players and explain the map and routes

Him and KC were just chatting away when suddenly he feels his... stomach... Begin to hurt...?

So KC notices and ask turbo if he's alright and if he wants anything to eat, and so turbo request some baked sweets like cookies and such and continues to talk with KC...

So when sourbill arrives with the goods, turbo begin to munch on them...then for what every reason he starts to literally eat every baked goods and sweets... Almost leaving KC with nothing... Must've really been hungry... Consider how long it has been since...

KC is surprised at how much turbo is eating...and almost the whole plate at that...but he doesn't question it, thinking he must've have eating a lot... Too good for he's own..

So it's week 2 now and it's Thursday now...and turbo looks nearly half as worse as he used to be during week one...

So yeah he's really starting to worry now, thinking that something is clearly wrong with him, so he goes to Felix to get fix and...for some reason he stopped mid track... almost at the cart going to Felix's game.

Then he start moving again...but at a different direction... Now knowing something is CLEARLY WRONG, he panics and tries to to move onto the opposite way...but even with all he's strength...it doesn't budge...

With turbo missing, the Turbotime cabinet is at risked with getting unplugged, and makes a search team with Calhoun, Felix, Vanellope, Ralph, KC and the twins.

With Calhoun's soldiers and KC's people helping them, they begin their search.

And luckily on the The twins found him!..?

And asks if he's alright and... He says he's alright but looks weird...

But their just too relived that turbo is back again

With turbo now in the game, they manage not to get unplugged and so on...

But when the twins spots Turbo and tries to talk to him...then they notices he's really off... Not to mention he's movements are... Really off...

And turbo turn around to lazily...? Wave at them...

After getting relived that their game won't get unplugged and really seeing how turbo is...

They think something is wrong with him...

Too bad it got the time to learn...

i'm really endeared by the notion of a redeemed turbo being super respectful of calhoun and getting along well with her before figuring shit out with felix. when i think about it, those two really have a lot to bond over. also, is the "felix is the one that turned 'going turbo' into an idiom" a canon piece of info or is it just a headcanon you're rolling with?

its headcanon what was offered by other anon and I just liked it a lot! makes sense to me personally

and YES. turbo might've committed war crimes, ruined a child's life and was a reason of at least two people dying, but his ass is respectful to women and THAT'S CANON. his "yes ma'am..." to shank in disney magic kingdoms speaks volumes

his and calhoun's dynamic comforts me a lot to be honest and I'm thinking about them only for two days. I imagine them brainstorming over possible tactics in hero's duty, studying cybugs together and turbo just sharing his experience of being a cybug to help dealing with them easier. he remembers everything and they both have nightmares about cybugs

and once, after a very bad nightmare, turbo, not knowing how important he became to her, literally asked her to put him down if something happens again and he won't be himself anymore (not only in becoming a cybug hybrid again, but generally going of the line). he said that he couldn't trust this problem with anyone else. not with felix, not vanellope and not ralph. and calhoun, who had to kill the cybug what was getting a form of her fiance, and who already saw turbo as family, had such a breakdown that these two ended up on a floor being a crying mess. but she knew the feeling of paralyzing fear every time she saw a face of a monster before her closed eyes in her dreams. and she knew that turbo was dealing with it even when awake every time he looked in the mirror. he couldn't get used to his own face, and it's been months since the cybugs almost destroyed sugar rush. turbo barely used his disguise of king candy, sometimes participating in the races with vanellope's approval, and calhoun knew he hated it

tamora never said that she would grant him his terrifying request. will she be able to do that again? calhoun didn't know, and she didn't want to find out

but still she never said no

Genuinely thought it's so nice seeing more content for a hyperfixation I've had since 2012, and the fandom coming back along with this video Genuinely brings me so much joy as someone who's loved this movie since I was a kid

Okay second of all

The main reason why I'm sending this is because of sometning I noticed while rewatching a scene in the movie

Now, this might be me over analyzing as I usually do but it feels TOO. OBVIOUS.

SO

IN the kart bakery scene where vanellope and ralph go to bake a kart, they obviously make their way into the building and into the main room

You see all the Karts of course, and It pans to the one vanellope chooses

Which, at first glance you wouldn't really pay too much attention, especially when watching it for the first time, she's just picking the model she likes

..but looking back at the scene

Vanellope's kart model, how it was supposed to look, looks very

Familiar

Because the kart she chose..

...is a red and white kart

With stripes down the middle, with a very similar shape to a..certain persons kart. Now this might just be nothing, it's probably just like I said, and over analysis on my part

But the kart the chose looks WAY too similar to turbo's, not to mention the stripe is down the middle, just like turbo's car on the cabinet art of him

And vanellope could've chosen ANY kart

But it was that specific kart she chose, out of any of the karts

Not to mention in some of vanellope's concept art...

..Vanellope's concept design and turbos designs strike SCARILY uncanny resemblances to each others designs

From the helmet and colors

All the way down to her GOGGLES having the SAME. YELLOW. TINT. that candy's have in the movie, which have the same effect here. There's no way that this didn't have the intent to mirror turbo purposefully

So with that in mind, the kart vanellope chose in the kart bakery scene being turbo foreshadowing, wouldn't be too out of place, nor would it be too far off

Turbo's foreshadowing was always prominent, even in the smallest details you wouldn't focus on, just like he's infecting this world as a virus, little by little, everywhere. You. Turn.

Aaaand that's basically all I have to really say

Gift Receiving:

- This is a rather obvious one— Of course, someone like him would want things from his s/o as a way to show they love him, always expecting as such whenever he sees a situation that may warrant such a thing.

- As surprising as it is, I don’t think he would want the best of the best (but it is greatly appreciated, it’s just another thing to put on the growing list of things he won’t admit to)

- The thoughtfulness and effort into getting him something he likes or needs (ex: A racing kart part he needs for its next repair, or even some little “stupid knickknack” for his kart which he eventually puts in.) is enough to make him think about things.

- When you guys are still friends you’re the definition of that one Bob’s Burgers meme “Well, I made this friendship bracelet for you.” “Ah— You know I’m not really a jewelry person.” “You don’t have to wear it—“ “No I’m gonna wear it forever, back off.” But he’d be more reluctant to express his feelings for it.

- Being a receiver is something he’s most accustomed to, but I do see him eventually getting you something in return.

- But it’s far more subtle than the typical way, offering you a cigarette (no one can tell me that yellow-stained teeth having son of a bitch isn’t a chain smoker) mid-smoking break or some food he stole from another game.

- In general, it makes him feel appreciated on a far more personal level, which yields mixed results and feelings from the racer— It can be a real coin toss with him.

- I think surprising him with some stupid little trinket conveniently placed on the seat of his kart or some other place he’d notice is his favorite way of receiving things, it’s like a mini reward he can enjoy in private.

- If you write letters? He stashes them away (probably in his kart knowing him) so he can reread them whenever he needs a little emotional pick me up when things get tough and he can’t get ahold of you.

- The fact that you understand Turbo so much to the level where you understand what he likes besides his rightfully won trophies is baffling, bringing about a warm feeling in his chest whenever he looks back to the moment with a kind of fondness rarely seen from him.

BACKSTORY: Originally worked with John Doe. got a little TOO into the concept of aggressive GUIs. betrayed his coworker, got infected by the code, yadda yadda. He's a bit nuts.

ABILITIES

PASSIVE: “CODING FLAWS”

Each time an objective is completed, Builderman receives a ping sound, and a brief (.5s) highlight of the player that completed the objective.

LMB: Builderman pulls out a classic banhammer and takes a swing. 20 damage. Arc hitbox. 5s cooldown.

ABILITY ONE: “FAULTY DESIGN”. Builderman will either build a fake dispenser, or a sentry. Fake dispensers will apply Poison II to anybody within a 10-stud radius (effect disappears immediately once out of radius). Sentries will shoot one bullet every 2 seconds at survivors, dealing five damage per hit. Bullet hitboxes are similar to base-game c00lkidd’s “corrupt nature” ability, just a bit smaller, and slightly faster. Dodge difficulty: 5/10

ABILITY TWO: “OVERRIDE”. Builderman will pull out the same hammer used in the LMB, but with a noticeable particle trail to differentiate. If it makes contact with a survivor, the survivor receives Afraid III and Weakness III for 10s. Attack speed for this swing is .25x slower than normal attack.
