An idea for a future/Jonah fic merged with Ranch Fic which I believed I've shared a bit of before. It won't leave my head. Here is a snippet from a chapter in which Jonah starts preschool and brings home a gift in the form a stomach bug they all get to take their turn with. Look how happy the little guy is with himself.

Thus this snippet is also me jumping aboard the Carlos Sickfic train whoo Niz you're still the captain and the driver I'm just joining the ride for a bit! Warnings for descriptions of nausea and a mention of throwing up but no more than those exact words.

He kind of wants to check in on Jonah and TK, wants to say goodbye to Jonah before he leaves for half the day but his eyelids are already drooping and the nausea still sits on the edge of his consciousness. He feels like he has a small window of time wherein if he just moves very little and goes to sleep soon he might be able to skip the next bout of nausea.

His wish is granted anyway as the bedroom door opens, Jonah entering first along with TK’s voice reminding him to be gentle, TK himself emerging last.

“He wanted to show you the dragon he chose,” TK says as Jonah climbs carefully up the bed to sit next to Carlos.

“Hey Jonah," Carlos says, fighting to keep his eyes open as he pushes Jonah’s bangs away from his forehead. He’s gonna need a haircut again soon. “Did you choose a good one?”

“Look!” Jonah says, pulling at the hem of his shirt and puffing his chest out, proudly showcasing the pink dragon on the front.

“Wow, mijo, that’s a really good choice,” Carlos says, making Jonah beam up at TK at the confirmation that they chose right.

“Are you gonna wear your pajamas to work, Carlos?” Jonah parrots TK from earlier. He does that a lot these days. Sometimes it makes him say weirdly wise things that sound way too adult coming from his four year old voice which always makes Carlos laugh.

“Carlos gets to stay home and sleep some more, because he’s sick, remember? Just like you stayed home when you were sick.”

“Did you throw up?” Jonah asks, turning to Carlos with wide eyes. He looks a mix between concerned and intrigued.

“Yeah, but just like you I’ll feel better again in no time,” Carlos reassures with a out upon smile. He hopes he's right.

“Do you want an ice pop?” Jonah asks, remembering that had made him feel better.

“Maybe later,” Carlos smiles at him. “But that was a nice thought, mijo. Thank you.”

Jonah looks like he’s thinking hard trying to come up with something else that will magically heal Carlos. He’s so sweet and caring, just like his brother. TK interrupts him before he can suggest any more remedies, heartwarming as they are.

“Okay, buddy,” TK says. “Time for breakfast I think, so we can get to preschool on time.”

“Can we make omelets?” Jonah asks, sufficiently distracted. Carlos usually lets him ‘help’ when he makes omelets in the morning and Jonah loves being delegated with small but very important tasks.

TK chuckles. “Sure. I don’t know if I can make them as good as Carlos though,” he says. “You’ll have to ask him for the secret ingredient.”

“What’s the secret ingredient Carlos?” 

Another time Carlos will tell Jonah how to make his favorite omelet, but right now Carlos can’t bear the thought of pronouncing the word of any food related item. “Love,” he says instead, ruffling Jonah’s hair, trying not to show that even the act of lifting his arm feels like a tremendous effort. Jonah frowns for a moment before he giggles like Carlos just said a super silly thing.

“Love? You can’t put love in an omelet Carlos!”

“Sure you can,” Carlos says. “You just have to make the omelet for someone you love and that’s how you put love into it.” He doesn’t know where the spontaneous pocket philosophy comes from and he hopes he hasn’t made a mistake in case the omelet TK and Jonah whip up for some reason isn’t to Jonah’s liking.

Kids don’t think that deep, he tells himself. Jonah will probably have forgotten about it in the time it takes them to go from the bedroom to the kitchen. And besides he fully trusts TK’s abilities when it comes to cooking. 

His jumbled overthinking is interrupted by Jonah making his heart grow two sizes and do a little dance in his chest. “Then we have to make some for Carlos too TK! So we can put love in it!”

Unfortunately his stomach seems inspired by his heart to start matching its little dance routine. Thinking anymore about omelets, let alone one being made for him that he has to eat, isn’t helping. He feels his little window of time starting to close as the nausea begins tauntingly closing back in on him. Luckily TK seems to read it on his face. Or maybe he’s just turning visibly green.

“We’ll make some for him to save for later,” he says. Planting a soft kiss to Carlos forehead he tells him “You should try to finish that glass of water though, if you can. I’ll bring you a new one before we leave.”

Turning back to Jonah he says more loudly, "Now, can you say bye to Carlos so we can let him sleep?” to Carlos he says softly “You look ready to, baby.” 

Carlos only hums in response.

Jonah rises up from his knees on the bed, putting him at eye level with Carlos as he wraps his little arms around his neck. “Bye, Carlos. Feel better,” he says before turning back to TK, putting his arms in the air to be lifted off the bed.

Carlos musters his last energy for a sincere “Bye Jonah. I love you,” But Jonah has apparently already moved on, or rather back to discussing what to put into the omelet, beside love.

“And ham,” he says as TK lifts him under the armpits and sets him back on the floor.

“And cheese!” he says, “And eggs and pepper and-” 

“Okay buddy,” TK interrupts quickly, sending Carlos an apologetic wince before quickly ushering Jonah out of the bedroom, as he keeps listing ingredients. 

Once the door is closed behind them, Carlos takes a few steadying breaths, the nausea thankfully retreating back to the peripherals. Having learned to listen to TK when it comes to medical advice, he sips the water until the glass is almost empty before he gingerly lays down, foregoing his own freshly clean pillowcase in favor of TK’s, and pulling their shared blanket up and over his body. He shifts a little to make himself as comfortable as he can and then closes his eyes.

He doesn’t hear when TK creeps in half an hour later to replace the near empty glass of water, or the front door opening and closing as they leave to drop Jonah off at preschool.

The magical girl au made by Niz. I LOVE magical girl stuff, I grew up on a silly girly show and I like transformations into cute outfits. I love the relationship between SK (silly guy who didn’t wanna be a magical girl but probably made a selfish wish and now has to fight) and witch Barrel. The silly relationship between Barrel and Banshee persists in this au too, I love them. Speaking of, Banshee’s outfit is literally so cool and I love all the eyes!!!

Since Niz made the au, Niz gets to be Kyubey! I made them a little design and an interaction with Banshee. Banshee doesn’t like the little creature very much.

Nastavlja se regularna sezona NBA lige, Los Angeles Lakersi će ovoga puta igrati kod kuće, dvije momčadi su izjednačene, sve se natječu na terenu, što je definitivno prekrasna gozba. Igrači koji nose nba dresovi također moraju pokazati svoju apsolutnu snagu za borbu.

Nijedna od dvije izjednačene ekipe neće doći do prednosti u rezultatu. Na početku utakmice izmjenjivali su se pogoci obje strane. Na kraju prve četvrtine domaća prednost Los Angeles Lakersa iznosila je samo 2 poena, no na kraju poluvremena Lakersi su poveli Orlando Magic 67-60. U drugom poluvremenu dvije su strane bile izjednačene u napadu i obrani, ali je Orlando Magic očito bio bolji, a Lakersi su 88-89 zaostajali za Orlando Magicom 1 poen. Navijači u Los Angeles Lakers dresovi na mjestu događaja također su bili jako zabrinuti. U četvrtoj četvrtini još uvijek su se izmjenjivali pogoci obje strane i bili su izjednačeni. Biti fan: of Montreal

Godina je 2004. i svi izvori muzike u Srbiji su presušili. SKC tezge su sklonjene, Napster i Audiogalaxy ugašeni, Blue Box zatvoren. Nova alternativna muzika se tada otkrivala samo preko Pitchfork.com, jer su redom: XZ i OK magazini, satelitski kanal Viva Zwei, muzičke emisije na televizijama Studio B i B92, radio emisije Pamuk i Moć Veštica, svi bili nepostojeći. I tako surfujući Pičforkom, koji se u to vreme aptejtovao jednom nedeljno, vidim vrlo pozitivnu recenziju albuma “Satanic Panic in the Attic” benda of Montreal (ispravno napisano sa malim "o"). Pošto nisam imao načina da nabavim album, mogao sam samo da pribeležim to ime, uz druga koja su pozitivno ocenjena (The Decemberists, M83, Cursive…). Na sreću, u narednih godinu-dve je količina interneta na tržištu Srbije postepeno rasla, pa su stvari polako počinjale da liče na današnju svakodnevnicu trenutne dostupnosti praktično sve muzike ikada objavljene.

Tako sam of Montreal muziku konačno čuo kada mi je 2006. internet prijateljica iz Južne Karoline preporučila pesmu "Oslo in the Summertime". Pisala mi je kako se noću vozila kolima, valjda na zadnjem sedištu, pesma je naišla i obojila trenutak svojom čudnom atmosferom. Pesma mi se dopala i skinuo sam album "The Sunlandic Twins" na kom se nalazi. Taj album je pun hitova, od kojih je verovatno najveći "Wraith Pinned to the Mist & Other Games", prepoznatljiv po refrenu "Let's pretend we don't exist, let's pretend we're in Antartica" i mega-funky bas liniji, koja je verovatno najzaslužnija što je izvesni marketing tim poželeo da ova pesma bude muzička podloga reklame za američki lanac restorana Outback (dobili su "soundalike" verziju sa "appropriate" tekstom). Drugi najveći hit je sigurno "The Party's Crashing Us" - mega catchy uvodna synth tema (što je ujedno i vokalna melodija refrena), bogata harmonija, svetlucavi disco gruv i naprosto predivan tekst o cvetanju ljubavi (omiljeni stih: "You freed me from the past, you fucked the suburbs out of me") su učinili ovu pesmu zasluženim vladarom vrha moje tadašnje last.fm liste all-time najslušanijih pesama (na vrhu je ponosno ostala sve do mog namernog anuliranja last.fm statistike). Na albumu zatim sledi "Knight Rider", instrumentalna minijatura delikatne atmosfere (čije su ehoe mnogi prepoznali u "Strange Nostalgia for the Future", intermecu na albumu "Zonoscope" australijskog pop benda Cut Copy), koja je u najvećoj meri postignuta dvoglasom linija odsviranih na bas gitari (umešan aranžerski trik, donekle oM trademark). Zatim sledi "Death of a Shade of a Hue", muzički kompleksna, pa može se slobodno reći kamerna kompozicija, u kojoj dominira zvuk violončela i vokal koji peva genijalan tekst o smrti Jarkocrvene, njenim sećanjima i tuzi koja obuzima sve druge boje i desaturira ih, zbog čega se Siva oseti besmisleno i poželi da pronađe novi identitet, neki koji bi parirao Jarkocrvenoj. Takav spoj apstrakcije i arhetipa se retko sreće. Zatim nakon tihog vokalnog brundanja nastupa prvopomenuta "Oslo in the Summertime", koja iščašenom harmonijom i aranžmanom čini da osetite svu karakterističnost sublimiranu u naslovu. Istražujući o tome koji je to splet okolnosti inspirisao direktno deskriptivni tekst ove pesme ulazim u biografski mitos benda, ili bolje rečeno projekta of Montreal. Priča otprilike ide ovako: američki muzičar na evropskoj turneji upoznaje norvežanku, ludo se zaljubljuju, ona ostaje u drugom stanju, zbog povoljnijeg zdravstvenog i socijalnog osiguranja se na kratko sele u Norvešku, tu se rađa njihova ćerka. Muzičar je Kevin Barnes, alfa i omega projekta of Montreal. Norvežanka je Nina, a ćerka je Alabee, njih dve su velika Kevinova inspiracija i prisutne su u mnogim of Montreal pesmama. Kevin je pod of Montreal imenom revnosno objavljivao psych-pop muziku još od kraja devedesetih, ali tek sa upoznavanjem Nine i radikalnom biografizacijom tekstova njegova izdanja počinju da privlače veću pažnju. Dalje istražujući, već na leto 2006. pronalazim procureli follow-up album "Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?", čije je zvanično izdanje bilo najavljeno za januar 2007. Na njemu pesma "The Past Is a Grotesque Animal", dvanaestominutni elektro-rok ep o mučnoj emotivnoj tenziji unutar Kevinovog i Nininog odnosa, detalji od nežnog upoznavanja do izbegavanja priručnih projektila lansiranih u jeku svađe se smenjuju kroz stihove, među kojima je barem 10 ubitačnih one-linera (i danas kad čujem "Things could be different, but they're not" osetim izvesno poražavajuće osvešćenje). Pesma se završava talasom buke koji se preliva u "Bunny Ain't No Kind of Rider", š(k)a(k)ljivu pesmu o Kevinovom odoljevanju seksualnim iskušenjima na turneji, što mu je uspevalo zahvaljujući izjavama poput "You must be aware I'm not alone, I've got a tigress back at home, and besides, you wouldn't know what to do with me", koje nekim čudom postaju sing-along stihovi. Kontrast između ove dve pesme u mnogome pokazuje privlačnost of Montreal muzike - Kevin bez napora skače iz jednog emotivnog konteksta u drugi, slobodno nižući priče iz svog turbulentnog života i to sa takvom neposrednošću da se svaki slušalac oseti kao deo "ekipe", ili pak kao sam Kevin. Album je prepun magičnih momenata, tužnih pesama o prijateljstvu, veselih pesama o depresiji, duhovitog detinjastog besa i fanki nihilizma, ali najdivnija je poslednja pesma - "We Were Born the Mutants Again with Leafling" svojim zapanjujuće raskošnim, a tečno skladnim kontrapunktom neprebrojivih gitara, klavijatura i vokala, briljantno spakovanim u krug od 11 taktova me transportuje u sličnu dimenziju kao i "Wuthering Heights" od Kate Bush, ili čak "Goodbye Horses" od Q Lazzarus, to je zona ekstremne muzike (po mom poimanju). Drogirajući se ovim albumom tokom za mene emotivno izazovne 2007. uz mnoge druge fantastične albume iz te godine, postajem of Montreal fan. Čitam intervjue, tražim žive snimke, upoznajem se sa diskografijom, upuštam se u na početku pomenuti album iz 2004. nelagodno duhovitog naslova "Satanic Panic in the Attic", na njemu takođe pronalazim očaravajuću raskoš, doduše nešto stidljiviju, ali možda čak muzički složeniju. Otkrivanje harmonskog jezika i samostalna interpretacija na gitari ili klaviru pesama poput "Climb the Ladder" i "Your Magic Is Working" je pravo uživanje, dok nežnost (i povremena bizarnost) tekstova prosto opija.

Uživam u ova tri albuma iščekivajući nastavak, šta li će sledeće Kevin napraviti? Uvek je nezgodno ispratiti kreativni uspeh, ali kada je najavljeno da će se naredni album zvati "Skeletal Lamping" sam znao da je stvar pod kontrolom. Nisam imao pojma šta naslov znači (a ima neko značenje), samo sam osetio da se zakuvalo nešto uzbudljivo. Krajem leta 2008. se pojavio singl "Id Engager", otkačeni disko-pop sa catchy refrenom, pun sumanutih krika i nasumičnih metafora. Kada album najavi poslednja pesma na njemu (što je ovde bio slučaj), to implicira određen otpor konvenciji. Ovde je taj otpor zaista teško preceniti, jer, prosto rečeno, "Skeletal Lamping" je totalno ludilo od albuma. Iako ga naizgled čini 15 pesama, on je zapravo niz od barem triput toliko pop-fank-disko-soul minijatura koje su prosto slepljene nekim šizofrenim lepkom. To ga čini prilično napornim za slušanje, ali nagrada za hvatanje u koštac sa takvim izazovom je otkrivanje mnoštva briljantnih momenata, koji su zatrpani u mulju Kevinovog haotičnog toka svesti. Album otvara "Nonpareil of Favor", još jedna ljubavna pesma o Nini. Na početku upečatljivi dulcimer rif brzo prerasta u skoro-gabber gruv, da bi postao psych-indie-pop koji kroz par salta postaje višeminutno gitarsko noise zakucavanje koje se suptilno transformiše u divno sanjivi zaključak ove epopeje, koja za mene predstavlja jedan od najuzbudljivijih album-openera jer bezrezervno nagrađuje svakog fana koji je grozničavo iščekivao ovo izdanje. U nastavku će vas osvojiti "Gallery Piece", mega-disco-banger koji krasi tekst o potpunoj infatuaciji drugom osobom, sublimirajući seksualnu privlačnost stihom "I wanna make you cum two hundred times a day" (sentiment koji je kasnije na albumu ponovo iskazan stihom "Wanna make you ejaculate till it's no longer fun" u "Plastis Wafer"). "Gallery Piece" takođe krasi melodija pevanja koja jako podseća na bas liniju demo verzije pesme "Courtship Dating" grupe Crystal Castles, čijim stvaralaštvom sam tada, krajem 2008. godine, bio već više od godinu dana potpuno opsednut, pa je ova muzička sličnost za mene imala poseban značaj. Mislim da mi je "Skeletal Lamping" omiljeni of Montreal album, uprkos tome što od njega malo boli glava. To je možda i bio Kevinov cilj, totalna ekstravagancija kao odgovor na izvestan napredak u indie karijeri. To se odrazilo i na scenske nastupe, na kojima je publika mogla da vidi Kevina kako ulazi na scenu jašući belog konja, ili pak u kovčegu punom pene za brijanje, itd. - of Montreal su tada bili glam-psych prog-disco indie-funk fenomen, na tom talasu je priča krenula dalje. Sledeći album "False Priest" iz 2010. je bio u znaku Kevinovog izlaska iz udobne kreativne izolacije, John Brion je producirao, a Janelle Monáe i Solange Knowles pevaju na nekim pesmama. Postojala je izvesna pretenzija, ili čak očekivanje da bi ovaj album mogao biti Kevinova karta za mainstream, ali stvari nisu baš toliko dobro prošle, saradnje su bile površne. Dovesti Bijonsinu sestru na album i dati joj da otpeva samo pola refrena je neoprostiva propuštena šansa i rezultat se po mom shvatanju ne može nazvati duetom. Pesme "Sex Karma" i "Enemy Gene" su mogle biti sjajne, ali je Kevin previše čvrsto držao uzde, kao da nije bio spreman da svetlost reflektora ravnopravnije podeli, ili pak u potpunosti prepusti gošćama, što bi možda bio korak u željenom smeru. Ovako, pristojan album ostaje na pola puta između indie-ekstravagance i pop-kurioziteta, bez dovoljno jakih singlova da ga povuku dalje napred.

Naredne albume uspevam da ispratim sa manje ili više uspeha, Kevinovo samopovlađivanje ga vodi na razne muzičke destinacije, od disonantnih kamernih aranžmana, do 70s fetišizma. Nekada simpatični tekstualni tretmani postaju over-sharing trabunjanja, do mere kad se čini da čovek iz pesme u pesmu prosto "ne zatvara". Gde su nestale pesme od dva stiha, kao "Disconnect the Dots"? U poslednje vreme Kevin pokušava da jaše aktuelni talas političke korektnosti, što zna da bude degutantno, mada na poslednjem albumu ipak sebi dozvoli da refren (dosta dobrog) prvog singla bazira na načelno posesivnoj objavi "You should be fucking with no one else!", koja ipak u samom vokalnom izrazu otkriva mešavinu očajanja i samoismevanja. To je ono što sam zavoleo u of Montreal muzici, sposobnost da se kompleksna mentalna stanja, kroz koja verovatno mnogi prolaze, izraze verno, direktno i jednostavno. Kao što je čest slučaj u karijerama, umetnici ni sami ne znaju koji njihovi kvaliteti i veštine privlače pažnju šire publike, pa baš kada treba nastaviti u istom smeru kompas počne da luduje. Svejedno, u of Montreal diskografiji ostaju četiri fenomenalna albuma, što je nešto čime malo koji muzičar može da se pohvali, iako je zbog hiperproduktivnosti statistički učinak ispod trećine.

Međutim, postoji još jedno izdanje vredno pomena. "Icons, Abstract Thee" EP koji je izašao koincidentno sa "Hissing Fauna..." sadrži ekstrakt priče o Kevinu i Nini, idilični početak je razoružavajuće šarmantno i setno opisan u "Du Og Meg" ("Ti i Ja" na norveškom), ali stvari brzo krenu naopako, i to toliko da u završnoj, epskoj "No Conclusion" Kevin otvoreno priča o svojim suicidalnim tendencijama i kapitulira izjavom "I never ever wanted to write this song", istovremeno bežeći i suočavajući se sa propalim brakom. O samoj "No Conclusion" bi se mogao napisati esej, ona je u izvesnom smislu reprezentativna za ceo of Montreal opus. Svi vole dobru ljubavnu priču, o snazi koja ruši godinama građene unutrašnje defanzivne barijere i oslobađa potisnute emocije, seksualnost i kreativnost. Kevin Barnes je tu priču proživeo, na sreću preživeo njen mučni epilog i ostavio trag u vidu nekoliko desetina sjajnih pesama. Meni puno znače, a nadam se da će i čitaoci ovih redova poželeti da ih upoznaju, stoga prilažem listu hajlajta, podnošljivog trajanja od cca 70 minuta (a moguće je napraviti još jednu istog trajanja sa jednako fenomenalnim pesmama).

The Jerome’s mostly remind me of the Lannister’s cuz they are complex morally grey characters with the best actors haha. They are always judged harshly by hypocrites around. Literally Ava seems like a modern Cersei at times, and her/Julian are a platonic Jaime/Cersei. Julian is a Jaime in a way cuz he isn’t really on a redemption arc? He’s still morally grey, he’s just bit better than he use to be. Ava’s kids are her #1 even tho it seems not like it. She makes choices you might not agree with BUT you get her motivations. Her views of beauty are quite interesting and reminds me of Cersei thinking a YMBQ will cast her down and just being mad paranoid. Oh snap....Maybe Ryan was her Euron 💀😭. Hearing about their father....he seems Tywin-ish. They never wanted to disappoint him and that goes into why they are who they are. Kiki was SUCH a Myrcella who dies young. Avery is like a Tommen 😂.

Cassadines just seem like Targaryens because they are WILDD. They are wild cards you sometimes can’t trust. I’ve mentioned sometimes Niz (especially young Niz) reminded me of modern Jonsa a bit , and I can see Nik like Jon but not a lot of honor. He is the ‘good’ Cassadine, the one who doesn’t go crazy but he is morally grey as well. Especially to protect Liz/Lucky/Laura/Lulu/etc (and those are people who are not even Cassadines)

And just think of the way how Helena views some has bastards , not pure enough, like 👀👀👀. They don’t need dragons to make it known not to cross them. Helena has put curses on people, etc and that just reminds me how Targaryens are connected to magic in some way. They love fam and power but unlike the Lannister’s maybe sometimes they go too far.

Quartermaines are DEFINITELY the Starks. Yes, they had their flaws but they were good people who deserved better. Half of them are dead and it’s just sad. Their whole line is a tragedy.

    Light was usually the first thing to go, gradually growing dimmer the longer they were there. Eyes were directly connected to and closer to the brain, so blindness was always the first symptom; causing their eyes to turn milky white with pale irises and pupils. If the patient was already blind before the infliction, the muscles came first. Joints clamping up to keep them from falling over if the initial shock was immediate. Locking themselves to their position in defense.

    Despite being physically blind, the inside of the mind was still clear to the patient. Sometimes different, but those who survived reported to have seen a dark room, where they sat or laid down for what seemed to be eternity. The passage of time was unclear besides the overgrowth that soon followed.

    Vines and tree limbs slowly crawling into the scape from dark corners, down the walls and spreading out like spider webs. Attached leaves flowing in non-existent wind or falling to the ground, gathering into sad piles. They quickly would reach the floor, twisting their way across to congregate in the middle and change direction. Creating a mosaic of vegetation covering the entirety of their mindscape.

    He could no longer see it, but Colour’s last expression would be imprinted in his head until the vines took him over.

    So would Zoel’s. One that made him wish he could will the vines and branches to come for him that much faster.

    One job. He had one gd job. Help Astia. Any means necessary. Keep Zoel and his siblings alive. Cole didn’t want to have his hopes up that after everything was said and done, magic was returned and all was calm, Zach would be able to send him there permanently, or that Zoel would even want him too.

    But just like all that time ago on his couch, he wanted to cling to some hope.

    Hope that was nowhere to be felt as new branches creept behind him, pressing at his frozen in place spine. Smooth bark sliding up against the material of shirt and across his shoulder blades. The tipped ends stopped there, curling up into loops, waiting to be pulled forward once again.

Niz knows the gods deaths didn’t affect her. Well, physically. Or magically. The powers of divination, of future of past, of time, they were much older than the gods. These magics of hers will stay with her, no matter what powers rise or fall.

As Niz tried for the thirty-seventh time to collect anything from her “vision,” she has trouble believing that.

Something has to be wrong. Color’s magic, related through the gods, was obviously failing. They looked... different. More different each time she saw them.

But Niz... her powers had never failed before. They’d been elusive, or overpowering, sure. But near-nonexistent was off. First to go, of course, was her psychometry, but that was seemingly obvious. It wasn’t her natural gift, and the majority of our significant objects has disappeared with the world change. 

But her natural chiromancy? She ran her hand through her hair, resigning to another wasted morning. Getting up from her bed, she started to boil water for tea. フルキーボードのテンキーがマウスとぶつかるのが気になって、$40の廉価60%キーボードを買ったので設定や調べたことなどのまとめ。

仕様

個人的に 右Alt、右Ctrl、右Shift、CapsLock、アプリケーションキー は不要、カーソルキーは（ショートカットに使うので）必須、 キーバインドをゴリゴリに変更すると環境が変わったときに慣れないので基本的にデフォルトを踏襲、無線は不要、 ついでに15年ぶりに青軸を使ってみようかと思って選んだら以下のものになりました。 NiZ Plum Atom 68 を買おうかとも思ってたんですが、お値段が4倍するのでこれを試してからでも遅くはないだろうという判断です。

Fnキーが押しにくく、ファームウェアの改造等も調べるのが面倒だったのでyamy(https://ja.osdn.net/projects/yamy/)を使ってキーバインドを変更しました。設定内容は以下の通り。 なおFnキーの入力状態は Windows で取得できないのでFnキー自体を別のキーに割り当てることはできません。（例えばLEDの発光設定を変えたりするのはFnキーでしかできません）

Alt + Esc を日本語入力 ON/OFF に割り当て

Alt + ` がデフォルトの日本語入力 ON/OFF キー

Alt + Esc のショートカット入力不能

SpaceをShiftに割り当て

だたしSpaceのみ押した場合はSpaceとして動作

日本語入力時に Shift+Space で半角スペースを入力したい場合は Shift押す、Space押す、Space離す、Shift離す の順で入力すること

Yuuka

She have parents, older brother and his wife,two older sisters and a twin brother. They have large age gaps between her and her siblings so she only live with her twin and parents :3 (All her older siblings alr have a job)

Niz

She have parents,3 older sisters and a cat. Shes usually alone at home cause her parent is busy and all of her sisters studies at college.

2. What are their thoughts on Quartz?

"Quartz? Who? Oh the girl around Azul? Shes pretty and seem nice! I have been seeing her around him alot lately!"

Yuuka is bad at recognizing people and definitely bad at reading someones intentions she thought Quartz have a crush on Azul.

"Quartz? Eh idk..The way she acted is suspicious..not like im one to say..."

Niz often lurk in vent so she have seen Quartz in the act, she remains quiet about it though

3. What is their thoughts and relationship with Azul? How did they meet Azul?

"I don't like how he just say things that come to his mind without caring about what people think! Thats not nice!! There is a charm to that though.."

They meet during music class,Azul make a comment about her singing that upset her so shes been chasing him going "You cant just do that!" At some point she realized hes not that bad and start having a liking to him (cringe /j💀)

"I dont like him his lashes is cuntier then mine,i want to rip them out"

Niz saw him through the vent thats all to it.

Yuuka - She will not know who framed her. "Justice will prevail" she will just follow the police. (Will get bailed out mom own a big company)

Niz - Mysteriously dissapear. She know its Quartz (she lurk in vent remember?) Gonna curse her with black/forbidden magic

8. Your OC notices Quartz carrying a weapon in her skirt pocket. That's strange since the female school uniforms don't have skirt pockets. Does your OC report this?

Yuuka:" Self defense is normal ! I need to ask her how she get the pocket though..cause i want it too..."

Niz: "Having a pocket will be very convenient im gonna do the same."

9. Where is your OC usually with or at during school? Classes? With Azul? Skipping class? Where do they eat lunch?

Yuuka - With Niz / Epel / Azul, in class,art club,lunch with Niz at the courtyard

Niz - With Yuuka /Silver / Idia, gymnasium backdoor with the cats, janitor room,corner of the art room, air vent, on the roof,actual rooftop,on a tree,in the walls, at the top of any building

Jade is Azul's right hand man. He assists Azul with a lot of student council work and is mostly by his side with Floyd. They are friends from their middle school days and up to their highschool days (although the three of them won't admit it).

Jade found Azul's hardwork and scheming nature very exciting so he and his brother always stayed by Azul's side to see what fun events would happen.

4. What are their relationships with other characters/OCs?

Floyd: "Who again?"

Floyd doesn't really acknowledge Quartz since she's so quick out of his sights. Genuinely believes there isn't a person named that but is suspicious.

Jade: "Oh, that shy girl? She's a little funny."

Definitely suspicious of Quartz but they don't interact much so he has no other information about her. He probably needs to be more skillful when studying her.

Riddle: "Quartz?.. Uh.. I-I don't recall who that is."

Quartz rarely interacts with Riddle.

Ace: "Ah? You mean that girl who's always so weird? I've seen her watch Azul. Pffftt! Do you think she likes him?"

He notices her sometimes because he thinks her appearance is a little flashy.

Idia: "I-Isn't she one of Azul's admirers?... She's the shy type right? She's a little strange though.. Sometimes she takes photos of me! W-Wait.. Maybe she's into me instead?! EEEKK!! H-HOW SCARY!!"

Completely misunderstands Quartz's actions but he's quick to know how weird her actions are. He stays away from her if Azul isn't present.

Azul, Jade, and Floyd are all 2nd years (17).

Leona has been held back so he is still 20.

Quartz is always in class but she'll come right before the bell rings since she was.. busy. She doesn't have a particular place she goes to all the time. She's never in one spot.

Quartz's lunch spot varies because she's always spying but her usual spot is in the courtyard.

Riddle is assigned being a hall monitor so he usually watches the halls when he is able to. He usually eats lunch with Trey and Cater.

Leona is always found napping under trees and skipping his classes. Ruggie manages to find him and give him his lunch from the cafeteria.
