Forever crazy to me when people write characters who have canonically (or semi-canonically in Legends) struggled with the Dark side brush Anakin off as a lost cause. Obviously in order to return to the Light you have to want to, I do get that and the characters are likely going to know that, too. But it's just so disingenuous to me when people have these characters be unforgiving and skeptical, ignoring that character's past and experiences. I'm not sure if it's just a lack of knowledge of the characters in question or if they just like using characters as Anti-Anakin/Vader mouthpieces but it really takes me out of a story.

Okayy, time to finally talk about it. Kawi is an interesting character to watch. I kinda hate him, (he's getting out of that zone slowly. tis still true) but he's interesting. In the start of the show he has something of a 'Cinderella complex' minus the naive optimism. He thinks he's the victim of every situation and he did nothing to deserve it. He also weirdly feels entitled to good things as a result of it failing to realise his own hand in said situation.

Many other people have done a wayyy better job of explaining his selfishness and double standards. So, I won't go too deep into that. Now with the show in its last stretch though, there's been a surprising change. He's still selfish. Not as much as before but he's still the center of his own universe. And, the sole ownership of these time-travelling powers have given Kawi this twisted sense of solipsism (the belief that you're the only real person in the world, but in this context what I mean is he thinks he's the only person with agency in this world).

Obviously, he doesn't actually believe that others don't have a mind or choice in this world, but whenever he's in the 'past' he very clearly cares little about what happened in the previous versions of the past. He is in it with the sole intention of "fixing the future" so to speak. So the characters, their feelings, their opinions- don't matter to Kawi till he goes to the future and sees how it morphed long-term.

We've seen this in the show over and over. Even when he tells Pisaeng about the time travelling, he says "I'll fix things," by dating him. Like Pisaeng doesn't have a say in the matter? The lack of self awareness is even more astonishing because he didn't learn through his relationship with Pear in the future, that his relationship with Pisaeng might just end the same way. Like, buddy. Come on...

I doubt the show will end with Pisaeng and Kawi not being together, but I would maybe like a reboot where he realises he needs to stop being so self-centred. I already think it's unfair that Kawi gets so many chances after stringing Pisaeng along for god knows how many years. Even if forgotten, both he and the audience deserve an apology from Kawi for that.

I have a whole tangent about time-travel stories without rules and the brain glitch it causes my brain to try to figure out the continuity, but putting my logical disbelief aside, a time-travel story serves a certain purpose for character arcs. So, i wholeheartedly believe we needed to hate Kawi at the start for the story to make sense.

But right now, he still has too much power. He's starting to realise he can't change everything, no matter how hard he tries, but he's still attributing that to the universe. He's not giving enough weight to the people around him.

He's also impatient, immediately wanting to know if he "fixed the future" after one decision change, when in reality this future 10 years in the making needs to be lived in for him to realise why it turned out a certain way.

He still doesn't seem to understand why Pisaeng left after the beach that day (not really anyway) or why he's so desperate to keep him. Not to mention he doesn't acknowledge the emotional rollercoaster that he's been putting everyone around him through. (Max needs a pay raise with the amount of therapy he's been giving everyone 😞).

I'm curious to see how the show handles it (if it does so at all). But in conclusion, I will not fully be team Kawi till he stops thinking he's the only person in the world.

truly shocking how good the yakuza games Can be. i mean, of course a game can be good. but when i’ve played games like dragon age inquisition that wasted 60 hours on meaningless fetch quests without even the reward of interesting story, games like yakuza like a dragon where i’ve spent 50 hours and the entire time doing only stuff i wanted to do and enjoyed? fucking incredible

i don’t want a long game if it’s going to waste my time with things not designed to be fun for the players sake. story is nice to me, so the quests of Nier Automata and Nier Replicant were generally a fucking delight, because even if sometimes they were just fetch quests, you got regular story from them and it was interesting story (not to mention the Nier games reward you with Weapon Stories if you’re just spending time grinding to upgrade weapons, so even that potentially dull task has an interesting benefit besides just a stronger weapon). minigames i personally Enjoy Playing are enjoyable to me, so when Spyro has me do a bunch of minigames its not a waste because they’re Fun. when yakuza offers minigames, they’re nearly ALL optional, and i spend hours on them because they’re just personally Fun to me (and they often do reward with Story at certain milestones which is an additional fun part for me ToT).

i’m just so beyond irritated with games that tote 40+ hours of gameplay (or god forbid 100) but most of those hours aren’t gameplay you’d want to fucking do. either make the game 20 hours of genuinely good fun stuff to do, or make the other ‘added’ hours of gameplay optional so people who’d rather not do 60 hours of harvesting/collecting things can at least ignore that portion. (yes this is also about FFVII Remake’s 10 hour long Reactor dungeons, which was to me the biggest flaw of the Remake I couldn’t manage to overlook... some other changes were A Choice sure, but the Reactors that took 15 minutes to 2 hours at a stretch in the original, took 7-10 hours in the Remake, with nothing happening during them additional but just more grinding battle after battle. it felt like a way to pad play time. i’d have preferred a 20 hour tight game with fun interesting things happening every 1/2 hour at least, over a game padded with a lot of 5 hour chunks of nothing but grinding. I get it... the makers spent Forever on VII Remake... so they didn’t want to show they’d wasted all those years on only 20 hours and the first 1/3 of the game lol. But i’d have preferred 20 hours of a really solid Remake. i get why they made the decision though. it just makes me really Not want to replay the Remake part 1, despite all of the other parts i genuinely loved and liked. At least when i replay the original FF VII I don’t ever feel like its wasting my time. And yes I klnow long hours spent grinding is a pet peeve of mine specifically, and it is perfectly neutral or enjoyable to plenty of others - which is why a lot of people like FF13 fine whereas i quit every time i hit the required 10 hour grind section, and the reason people enjoy many a jrpgs that Are 100 hours of gameplay with a significant portion of grinding, that i’ve mostly never played cause the jrpgs i like tend to be paced more on the ‘if you do no grinding and only the battles you run into on the core path, you’ll generally always be leveled up enough’.)

back to my point. Yakuza Like a Dragon really is a well made game. At least so far, as of chapter 11. Its paced fairly well, its got a story you can follow tightly, with a lot of room to fuck off and do whatever side stories or mini games you enjoy if you want a break from the crime drama Angst story/cutscenes, its really nicely thought out AS a turn base job classes rpg game (I was really happily surprised all the goofing off i do bonding with my party members and playing side quests and minigames actually affects my job classes and what Ichiban can do in other parts of the game - meaning i get a reward for the UFO catcher besides a cute plushie lol, unlike previous games). I love that while it’s clearly designed after Dragon Quest, I can see how the designers thought out how an rpg concept would work FULLY integrated into what a yakuza game IS. They could have easily placed a turn base rpg fight system on top of the existing Yakuza game structure, instead they integrated the minigames and side stories and how bosses Work and how friendships work. I also see a lot of references to other games besides Dragon Quest - Dragon Cart feels like a blatant rip off of Crash Team Racing (one of my fave games ever - or maybe they meant to rip off Mario Cart which is conceptually the same), but i love that in my Yakuza game I can go play one of my favorite Racing games lol! And I love that the racers you compete against come with their own funny little side story the same way the Cabaret Girls game in Yakuza 0 did. I love how the bonding with party members is a lot like how you romanced/befriended cabaret girls in prior games, but being friendship focused it provides a permanent sort of feeling to the bond story deepening - since they’re constantly in your party commenting, and warmer in future cutscenes, and constantly in the game (unlike the cabaret girl sidestories in prior games). i like that because the bond stories are all treated equally, i didn’t have to worry the yakuza writers would make weaker stories for the girls (which generally didn’t happen in cabaret girl stories, but did tend to happen with some lead women in Yakuza games especially in Yakuza 1 and 2 who’s stories got a weaker written once romantically/closely tied to Kiryu). Since they’re all written fairly equally in terms of quality, Saeko’s story feels as solid as Adachi’s, etc, and I appreciate the quality improvement (and I appreciate the way the cabaret girls dating sim got combined into the party mechanic and jobs/level up system). Even the Corporation side story, which is 1 optional if you want it to be, and 2 if you enjoy it like you enjoyed Yakuza 0 Kiryu’s business venture game, then they did a pretty good job of making the Stockholder meetings work a lot like the Turn Based regular combat system, again making the element from another game feel more integrated into THIS Yakuza game specifically). I just... fucking love how much work was put into designing this Yakuza Like a Dragon game so that all the game design elements interweave so well. On top of that, it’s of course got the usual Yakuza game balance of mandatory angst crime drama fight story, and lots of optional side story content and minigame content that is up to you if you want to play and how much (except now these side elements will benefit you a bit more in the main-story portions in some ways if you choose to do some of them - like the party member bonding).

Ok, Part 2. Where was I? Oh, right.

So, if Sidious and Snoke (I love that name BTW its just so fun to say, snoke snoke snoke). So if they took control of Kylo Ren and he just kind of killed Harrison Ford.. couldn't they at least show some inner conflict? (I can't fully remember if they did or not, so correct me if I'm wrong) Like, maybe they could show him sort of losing it and fighting his thought and emotions but in the end succumbing to his fate and killing off Ford. Maybe show that the 'tough' leader isn't what he really is. (Remember, I'm going off memory here, people. I'll double-check after I post this and be proven completely wrong, but eh). And then, at the end of the last movie, you see what's her face (Rey was it?). See Luke and a few other people (I think it was Luke?), and then she just goes off to do what.. STUFF? LIKE- COME ON DISNEY! FFS USE YOUR HEADS, PEOPLE! Ugh, anyway, that's my rant for now, I'll think of more later. Thanks for listening or just... fornscrolling past, I guess.

A/n: so i decided to write the dream I had cuz it was honestly beautiful, and the cutest thing ever so I hope you all enjoy !!

Summary: you go on a vacation with your girlfriend and it's the nicest time you've probably ever had with one another.

Warnings: mentions of nudity- but nothing sexual. All fluff and softness !

Work was always a hassle, so the fact you had time to even go on this trip was amazing. You and Billie had decided last minute to go on a spontaneous trip, it was thrilling to say fuck everything else and spend pure quality time with one another. Once you arrive at the massive hotel, you desperately wanted to go in the spa. Your muscles ached terribly from the past week. It was truly stressful for the both of you, and Billie couldn't wait to relax herself. She never got to do so when she traveled so she definitely wanted to savor this moment.

You begin to unpack just a little getting out a bathing suit. "This trip is truly something we both need." You nod. "I second that." She comes over to you placing her hands on your waist, looking into your eyes, slowly darting over your face features. "Youre stunning, how'd I even get you." You smile at her, shoving her arm. Both smiling tremendously. "Hush you, if anything I should be wondering how I got you." She then laughs. "How'd we get eachother." This causes you to laugh.

"I dunnoo." She dramatically gasps. "Nooo, you goof. Ofcourse I know how." She just shakes her head. "You don't even remember. Admit it!" She playfully points at you. "It was a beautiful afternoon." You began, making her laugh. Chucking a pillow at you. You caught it, throwing it back.

It was evening, you were currently working like you did almost every day. You didn't mind your job as an interior designer. Hell it was heaps of fun. But what wasn't fun, was the people you met along the way. Some were incredibly difficult, testing your patience. You were meeting up with a new client today, you were just glad it was the last for the day. You pull up to the fairly new house and head to the door, knocking. When the door opens you're met with the prettiest eyes and features. Then your brain clicked on who it was.

Wow, she was more gorgeous in person. "You must be Y/n!" She smiles brightly, making yours increase. "That's me!" You talk for hours on end, not even at all about what you were meant to be doing, but Billie kept asking you fun questions. "I love how we've been talking about everything, except what I came for." You giggle as you sit on the only piece of furniture in her home. This makes her laugh too. "Hey, you interest me." You smile at the compliment.

And thats where it all started, not as romantic as one may think but you thought it was. It was the best night of your life, and to now say you got to be with her in that house that you both designed. You were incredibly happy. You guys got one another on a different level.

"You coming down to the spa?" She nods. "Course, gotta relax with my baby after that long plane ride." She gets up going to change also.

You both make your way onto the pool floor, heading straight for the spa. Billie following close behind you, getting in just as you were. A soft content sigh leaves your lips, feeling the warmth hit your joints. Your eyes shut, soaking up the feeling of it. Billies arms extend out on the edges behind her, watching you for a moment. Your blissed out face, made her smile. She was glad to see you finally relaxing. This was her idea after all. She knew you'd been having a really difficult time with work, everything was just too much right now.

You drop your bags on the floor, puffing out a breath as you just frustratedly sigh. Billie comes into view, knowing you had a bad day. "What happened today?" You were about to ramble and rant.

"What didn't, happen today." You huff. "Everything you can think of. New client, current client. Old client. Never. Fucking. Happy. I listen to what they want but no I still get it wrong to these stuck up snobby bitches." You sigh again, tiredly. "I love my job I do. But its not fun when people ruin it you know?" She nods sympathetically. "I know baby, im sorry." She says, bringing you in for a hug. You sink into her touch resting your head in her neck, smelling her scent. She pulls back getting you to look at her. "Why don't we take a break, you definitely could use it and I'm clearly going with you." You smile at her. "That sounds lovely, where to." - "Anywhere mama, you pick."

"This is so nice." You then look at her, both holding a loving gaze. "It's amazing. Tomorrow we should go out and see this place fully." She smiles. "Let's do it!" It made you happy to know she could relax now too. Instead of working all the time with no break, and even when she did travel she'd never have time to do all this. It was incredibly nice for her also.

It was starting to get dimmer outside, and you had both agreed on changing and getting some dinner. The food was amazing, this whole hotel was incredible. Massive, you could easily get lost in this place. After you get some food in your system your back up into the hotel room, deciding to put on a movie. Your legs are laying over her lap, her hands rubbing your feet as she progressively starts to massage them. Your eyes were about to flutter close when she speaks. "Hey, wanna do something fun." Your eyes flick to hers, a smile on your face. "What we doin."

You were all in for it, even if you didn't know what it was. "It's midnight so I doubt anyone will see, why don't we skinny dip in the spa." You laugh a little. "You're crazy! Let's do it." You finish, making her laugh. Getting up off the bed. "We only live once baby!" "Preachhh." You both stay in your clothes until you were down there. You headed for the most secret one so it's not too insane. You both quickly strip getting into the warm water again. "We're gunna be prunes." You laugh, causing her own fit of laughter. The water felt great against your bodies, mixing with the cool air of the night.

Taking in everything of this surreal moment. Everything was still, everything was quiet, you couldn't be more happy. To be here with the love of your life, to feel so purely elated. You look at her, so deeply inlove. "Thank you." She looks at you now. "For what?" You smile gently. "For everything, every single thing." A soft smile is spread across her lips. "Thank you for being mine." You smile more. "I wouldn't change it for the world."

You stayed out there for a little bit longer, going to snuggle up to her. Feeling yourself close to drifting off. "Why don't we call it a night." You then hear her say. "Sounds great."

wow. four years old huh. i'll keep this part short but sappy rant under the readmore! happy four years!!

it feels like just yesterday when i watched this series on a whim because my friend kept making jokes about my ocs with hlvrai quotes and then it was so funny and engaging that it pulled me out of a months-long depressive slump... feels like just yesterday that my work was finally being seen by people, yesterday that the summer of 2020 was one of the most interesting summers ive ever had, yesterday when the 2020-2021 school year ended up being one of the most difficult times of my life and hlvrai really helped me get through it. without exaggeration this series has changed my life

yeah we all may have had ups and downs, like a LOT of downs, but ill always consider hlvrai to be very special to me, not just because i love it but because it represents so many good things to me: friends joking around having fun, friends carrying their past experiences with them (gmod rping, an affinity for extensively-planned bits, jokes that could ONLY be made by rtvs with each other, you get it), and how the best things often come from happy accidents, from people who DARE to CARE, because hlvrai is good because theyre not afraid to be silly! theyre not afraid to be stupid and sincere and ridiculous!!

and the most inspiring part to me has always been that hlvrai wasnt made to chase any trends. it didnt come in the wake of anything, it was made, and then after it was made, rtvs pretty obviously made it clear that they wouldnt let their lightning-in-a-bottle series box them in. like everyone on the team is very strongly against ppl being parasocial to them, they dont let people beg them for the funny half life info and references, all that. as a creator its cool to see people doing what they love and not succumbing to any pressure algorithmically or otherwise, especially during the lockdowns, when a lot of other streamer-based fandoms cropped up that had a VERY big 'encouraging being parasocial' problem. its always been nice to have a web series thats just one of many awesome things rtvs has done

hlvrai was everything i could have ever asked for and more, and me myself i was perfectly content with just having the standalone series forever, because sometimes a standalone thing is all you need. but with hlage, bbvrai, and hl2vrai being announced, im still so happy to be here and so happy that i get to keep enjoying one of my favourite pieces of media <3

"Look, look- they have a whole section on rocks! Kinda basic selection but it's still rocks!"

You never thought you'd be able to learn so much about rocks in one day, but it seemed like Venture had made it their personal mission to force as much information into your brain as possible. You didn't mind, really! It was always nice listening to them rant about all the cool stuff they found while walking around the museum you'd planned to bring them to, but it was a lot to take in at once.

"Augh, I love sedimentary rocks- they're my favorite! 'cuz sometimes they have like, little fossils in them and I'm like, "Woah! A cool thing in another cool thing!" and it's awesome! One time I found a trilobite fossil in a rock, it was so cool! I wonder if they have any here- that'd be so amazing! I wonder what they taste like-"

After spilling every single fact they could think of about the rocks on display, Venture drags you to a section of the museum dedicated to Egyptian history, though they mostly just seemed interested in the architecture of the pyramids. You really did try to listen, but you mostly just caught the gist of their long, long, long explanations- something about a Mastaba being like a sort of prototype to pyramids? You were just happy to see them so excited, even if you didn't quite understand what they were so hyped about.

"Oh, if only that British lady could go back to ancient Egypt and get the architects of their time to answer my questions! I'd give anything to be able to do that!" Sensing the slight disappointment creeping up on them, you decide to try and bring Venture elsewhere, not wanting them to spend any energy on being upset by what they can't do.

"Why don't we go look at the dinosaur fossils? I'm sure there's some mistakes in the descriptions that you can correct!" You take their hand, gently pulling them away from the long essay-like description of images of the pyramids that they were reading. Incising them with promises of being able to show off their intensive knowledge of dinosaur fossils, or fossils in general.

Venture perked up almost immediately, following behind you as they ready themselves to go on and on about their favorite dinosaur ever, the Deinocheirus! You tried to ask why it was their favorite ones, and all they said was something about it being "them fr fr" and having rocks in its stomach. You weren't too keen on questioning that one.

They take a large step so they're walking next to you, swinging your arms as you walk, "It's always been one of my biggest goals to find a dinosaur fossil! I really hope I do one day, if I did I could die happy!"

"Please don't die- I would be so sad if you died." You squeeze their hand, voice light as you joke with them.

"Aw but I wanna! I wanna be a fossil for future people like me to discover! When I do die I wanna be buried with a bunch of cool stuff! Maybe mess around with my bones a little, just to throw 'em off!" As you finally reach the fossil exhibits, they abandon you to run off and check over every. single. fossil. which while endearing, gave you a lot of running to do in an attempt to catch up.

"Finally! For once a museum that gets everything right! Well, everything as far as we know-" They stand next to one of the larger fossils, not anything you recognized as you take your place next to them, catching your breath.

"Wow, how impressive-" you wheeze, standing up straight and stretching out your legs as you link arms with Venture, trying to stop them from running off on you again.

They laugh, grabbing you by the shoulder and dragging you in the tightest hug you've ever received.

"Thank you, so, so, so much for planning this. And for listening to me talk about rocks so much, and for caring about me- and a million other things! I can't even remember everything you've done for me, but I know its a lot!" They let you go, still holding you by the shoulders, the biggest smile you've ever seen on a person splayed across their face.

"Of course-! I love spending time with you, you're well aware of that, silly." You laugh, grabbing their wrists and taking their hands off your shoulders, holding their hands as you admire the glow of excitement on their face.

"Welllll since you clearly don't mind, can we go to this other museum I found online next week?! I heard they have an area where you get to watch an hour long video on the story of Julius Caesar!"

Thoughts for The Montkraken Episode

so, I just finished the chapter and… wow I have a lot to say. I took screen shots for every part I wanted to talk about and I think this rant will be SUPERRRR long so bear with me. Tumblr won’t let me add screenshots so when I have better service I’ll edit the post to add them. These paragraphs are theories and side notes that I wrote after reading a certain section so you’re gonna see my thought process throughout the story. As always, spoilers ahead so I recommend skipping this if you haven’t read it already.

Alright so I was once a hater of this ship BUT… the Shobaru shippers may have a point in this guys 😭. LIKE.. I HAVE THE SCREENSHOT OF SUBARU BLUSHING UHHH. That is not a heterosexual stare feller 🤨…

AHHHHHHH THE FROSTHEIM DUO ARE BACKKKKK!!! I missed them so so much they’re so silly and deserve the best. Honestly the only two I trust in this school cause I CANT. I literally suspect anyone but them, but Imma be so disappointed if either of them are hiding something. I’ll be sad, but like I’ll help 🙄. I was actually so sad when the MC mentioned being the reason they could be in danger like GIRLLLLL DONT SAY THAT PLEASEEEEE. ITS LIKE THE ANGST WITH ADEUCE AND YUU LIKE STAWPOPP. Also when the Vagastorm kids were like “aw yeah Mido wouldn’t lie like that” it makes me happy that people can at least trust him enough to be honest and idk I found that kinda sweet :3. Whatever the case, I assume he was referencing to Zenji, though it being a blurry memory. Little theory tho.

OK SO THIS IS JUST SO FUNNY TO ME. In Chapter 9’s title it says, “Girl Learns Shocking Truth About Monster”. I like to think the shocking truth was the fact he didn’t shower for 3 days 😭. CAUSE THATS THE PART SHE SOUNDS MOST SHOCKED. Idk that part was silly to me. THEY’RE OUTFITS FOR THEIR DORM IS SOOOOOO PRETTY. They ate I fear, a bit more than the other dorms. Also side note, they dropped A LOT of info with just how they word things. For example, Yuri saying “Jiro, you are well aware that I will not be associated with those germs AGAIN.” Soooo Yuri was in Frostheim? I don’t doubt it bc there’s another line that says “I’d rather not recall how bitterly cold that place is” which can MEAN TWO THINGS. I’m super sure that they’re implying that yeah, he was, but then something happened blah blah blah.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH HYDE AND DANTE??? Like ok bitches, spill your shot to us too don’t be shy. So, confirmed by them, Dante and Hyde used to go to school in Darkwick (which I assume the rest of the teachers are too). That explains their back and forth. WHAT REALLY CAUGHT MY EYE WERE THESE LINES.

So, it was obvious that this whole happy go lucky attitude was fake, but I expected to be more like Haru’s kind of attitude not like that yk?? now I know how much of a cash grab this game is, but I really hope they aren’t going to stretch the story out too long to the point where you have to P2W cause I haven’t paid a cent and I don’t plan to. I still want to learn more about them and stuff so :(. On the topic of Dante, there was a small flashback where I missed a word in the sentence that Dante said while talking with Alan. “I’m the man you supposedly killed.” Supposedly?? Now, I didn’t my catch this in my first run, but now it’s like wdym supposedly?? Shouldn’t you know? This is giving hella Jiro vibes and honestly, I’m getting sick and tired of these characters having a bad memory.

SPEAKING OF JIRO- he seems to have problems remembering things and they come back to him in the very weird moments (honestly a kin moment). I would like the think that he’s just suffering from the damages he had to go through from the clash. His relationship with Yuri is so… sad to me. Yuri seems to doubt him a little bit and I feel like he sees him as just a specimen, not much of a friend. Meanwhile, Jiro smiles a lot to Yuri and listens to him like a master, like that’s what he’s supposed to do. NOT AGAINST HIS OWN WILL DONT GET ME WRONG. He’s just so neutral about it it makes me a bit like awwww :(. They’re cute tho idrc.

Ok moving on to Haku and Tohma. (Ok at this point I’m getting nervous cause why are we seeing so many characters now. That’s probably just a coincidence). OK THESE TWO HAVE GOT IT GOING. Like there’s tension when you get their chat in the campus but this is like woahhhh… Also I don’t like how Tohma says “our wheelhouse? I see..” it makes me think he’s like implying “so you think you’re a part of them now?” IDK THATS JUST MY LITTLE STRETCH. Also poor Zenji, he’s like “aw yeah I died in vain lol” LIKE OUCH.

Nicholas. I DO NOT LIKE HIM. I REPEAT. I DO NOT LIKE HIM FOR A MINUTE OF A SECOND. The only staff I like are the cats, the grocer guy, and MAYBE Dante. LIKE HES SO… NORMAL?? LIKE THERE’S SOMETHING WEIRD GOING ON IK THERE IS. When MC says “I can’t believe Professor Nicolas would do something like that” I DO 😡🙋‍♀️. I am in full support of Yuri finding crimes against this guy.

Also, little other side note, I just realized that Yuri and Jiro have matching earring in opposite ears. It’s so cute.

Ok I might have to go back to the beginning and see what the “goat like anomaly” Jiro is talking about when he mentions the prophecy, cause I said “… the chancellor is a goat??” BUT ANYWAYS. Speaking of the prophecy, I’ll jot it down.

Stating the obvious here, but this is most likely referencing to the last cutscenes we get when we choose our characters. I’ve checked the cutscenes again and there’s no visible moon, meaning it could correlate to the “new moon” portion. (Search up new moon to see what I mean). Assuming Solitary island means death, that would also help with the theory. So, whoever we chose in the beginning might just be the person who won the Laurel Crown.Honestly, this is just a silly little Drabble for a theory and VERY vague. Maybe the champion resides in the events of the past that we still don’t know about but this kinda helps?? Idk I’m just putting what I think at the moment. I’ll probably reread the game so I can get a better timeline. Also, Yuri’s rant about demon particles… doesn’t exactly sit right with me. Were they chosen to be resilient or was it just a birth thing?? Idk but I feel like a lot is missing from his theory.
