Olicity Tropetastic Awards: Season Seven
The time has come to talk of many scenes.
Of bows and arrows and superheroes.
Olicity’s reunion and the baby we knew was a Queen.
But wait just one minute,
Before we go and do all of that...
We thank you all for the time you have shared.
The elevators you have climbed,
The episodes you have faced and scared.
We will keep your stories in our hearts for always,
And we hope that you can too.
Because they would not be bigger than the friggin’ universe
If not for all of you.
-xoxo Ellie, Caitlin, Sascha, Mary, Beccie, Meegan, and Alli (and of course Emily Bett Rickards since she wrote this poem first;) )
@memcjo’s recs:

He hadn’t really even noticed there was a change in Felicity until the chaos died down, and even then it took him a couple of weeks to look past the excuses and the way she brushed off his attempts to talk. When he kissed her she pulled away almost immediately. When he reached for her hands she found a way to keep them busy. When he’d make his way to their bed at night, she would make an excuse to stay up and every morning when he woke up she was already gone from beside him. He told himself they were both readjusting. Things needed time to settle. They’d both been through so much.

Learning How to Win - @juvinadelgreko
At the end of Arrow S7, Oliver and Felicity retire from the vigilante life only to be interrupted by the Monitor and Crisis on Infinite Earths.

1 - Have you ever been truly obsessed with something? What was it and how did you come to feel that way? The definition of obsessed is, “preoccupy or fill the mind of (someone) continually, intrusively, and to a troubling extent.” I say I’m obsessed with things, but it’s a word that gets thrown around quite loosely. I haven’t been into something that affected me in a serious and potentially harmful way. When I say I’m obsessed, I mean that I’m just really into it. If it’s a movie or TV series, I want to watch every movie or season involved and I get immersed into the characters and storylines. I like to get a shirt or something and other things related to whatever it is. Stuff like that. Like, I have a shit ton of giraffe stuffed animals around my room so I say I’m obsessed with giraffes. I have several Baby Yoda/Grogu clothing items and things and I love The Mandalorian so I say I’m obsessed with Baby Yoda. You get the idea. It’s a fun and lighthearted thing.
2 - Has anyone made an assumption about you that you knew to be false? Did you challenge them, let it slide or try and prove them wrong? Yeah. It depends what it’s about, but I typically just let it slide. They’ll likely see for themselves anyway.
3 - Does it bother you when people turn up at your house without asking or waiting to be invited? Yeah. My family and I like to be notified beforehand and plan for a visit. We don’t like drop-ins. You know how in a lot of TV shows the best friend or neighbor or whoever always just barges in and comes over whenever? And like all. the. time? Yeah, I would not be okay with that at all haha. Does that really happen?
4 - What was the last thing you roasted over a campfire? S’mores.
5 - Would you like to live in a world with mythical creatures, even if they turned out to be evil or dangerous? Umm, no thanks.
6 - Are you taller or shorter than average height? I’m short, I’m like 5′4.
7 - Do you have a closer relationship with your friends or your family? I just have my family, but I’m perfectly fine with that.
8 - Do you have any family members whose beliefs or ways of life completely embarrass you? No.
9 - Are you scared of heights? Yesss.
10 - When was the last time you lost something of great sentimental value? Did you ever end up finding it again? Hm. Thankfully, I haven’t lost anything of great sentimental value.
11 - Do you ever wish you could read people’s minds? Sometimes, but I’d want the ability to turn it on and off. But gahhh, that could be a very scary and harmful ability to have. Could I filter it somehow?
12 - Are you able to speak fluently in a language other than English? No.
13 - Do you believe anyone out there is 100% good or 100% evil? I don’t believe anyone is 100% good, we all fall short and sin.
14 - Have you ever injured anyone in self-defence? No.
15 - What food do you find to be the most filling? Is this something you eat a lot of? Breakfast sandwiches and Wingstop’s 10 piece boneless wings, both of which I do eat a lot.
16 - Have you ever heard people talking badly about you behind your back? Did you confront them about it? Yes, and no I didn’t.
17 - Do you consider “home” to be the place you were born, or is it somewhere you create for yourself? For me, it’s my house where I feel comfortable and safe in and my family is.
18 - When was the last time you felt betrayed? What was it that caused you to feel that way? I’ve felt like my body has these past few years. And most recently, I had a couple new things health wise and I’m like wtf, seriously? We’re doing this now?
19 - When was the last time you climbed a tree? Never.
20 - Would you ever want to own one of those dogs that’s actually part wolf? Do you think animals like that even make suitable pets? I think they’re actually banned in a lot of places because they’re considered dangerous. I also just read there isn’t an approved rabies vaccine for wolfdogs because they’re treated as wild animals when it comes to rabies, so there’s obstacles when it comes to that. Then there’s also behavioral challenges. I just feel like it wouldn’t be a good fit for myself or the wolfdog.
21 - If you were going bald, would you shave all your hair off to get it over with? I would look into other options first. Well, unless I was going bald because of health reasons.
22 - Have you ever experienced had to leave your home due to a fire, or due to the threat of fire? No.
23 - What do you think of people who purposefully train their dogs to fight or to be aggressive? Ugh, that really makes me angry and upset. It’s so, SO wrong.
24 - Do you keep track of how many steps you walk in a day? Do you ever reach the suggested 10k target goal? Ha, if I had one of those trackers it would think I was dead because I’m not doing a lot of moving around.
25 - When was the last time you felt you were in a dangerous situation? Majority of 2020 and still as we go forward?
26 - If you suffer/have suffered with acne, do you squeeze your spots or do your best to just leave them be? I have a horrible habit of picking them.
27 - When was the last time you were up early enough to see the sun rise? All of last year and continuing on into this year so far. My sleep schedule is severely messed up.
28 - Are there any superstitions that you believe in? Which ones and what are your reasons for doing so? I do the knock on wood thing, but it’s more just out of habit now.
29 - Does it bother you when films/TV shows/books finish on a cliffhanger? I get why they do it, but I get so sucked in and invested into it, so I need to know what happens right away. Waiting is torturous haha. The worst is season finales because sometimes you have to wait like a year. Or with movies even longer! It can make it exciting, though, too. At least there’s something to look forward to. I’m just super impatient.
30 - Are there any series of books/films that you never finished - either because you got bored of waiting or just lost interest? Honestly, I tend to finish things even if I lose interest because I’m like I went this far I might as well see how it ends now. Unless I know right away that I’m not going to like it then I’ll stop, but I usually try to give it a chance.

The Prize, Ch. 6
Summary: AU Tom, set in early 19th c. London. Madeleine and Tom have known each other since they were teenagers (her brother is married to his sister). Can they overcome their fears and choose each other?
Genre: Romance/Angst/Drama
Rating: T (non-explicit sexuality)
Author’s Notes: Okey dokey, folks, here ya go. I wish I could write it the way I see it. Have your imaginations at the ready in order to make up for what I lack in skill. Reminder that this is all just for fun. If you want a period masterpiece, go read Jane Austen. ;)
Chapter 1 - Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 - Chapter 4 - Chapter 5
Concentrate, you fool.
He focused on the distant sound of the wind whipping around the inn, the periodic muffled footfall of servants and guests in the passageway, the sharp snapping of the fire. Anything in an attempt to somehow separate himself from the soft rustling of her nightgown, the smooth scraping of the blade against his whiskers, the melody of her voice and giggles as she related the latest practical joke the boys had planned for Cassie and her fiancé.
He was grateful that she had carefully placed her wrapper across his thighs after taking a short look at the ancient hat rack and hooks on the wall and deciding that she didn’t trust their strength. She kept adjusting the angle of his head as she began shaving him, her warm hands and the intoxicating scent of roses driving him wild. Unable to muster more than perfunctory “Mhms” as his part of the conversation, she chattered on as she went about the task and didn’t seem to be aware that he had barely said a word since she entered the room.
Through the fog of the accident, the aches in his shoulder and body, and the effect of the wine, his mind was a jumble of fear and hope. He tried to keep his eyes closed, but all he saw then was the image of her in the carriage, when he couldn’t rouse her, and the feeling of helplessness overwhelmed him anew.
He would open his eyes and there she was, safe, in front of him, fingers splayed out on the side of his neck, one hand holding the razor, her cheeks flushed, her eyes sparkling, her smile shining down on him like the first warm rays of spring. It was only a glimpse, he knew. A glimpse into what a life with her would be. This was exactly the type of common, everyday domestic scene that he had been imagining with greater frequency in the weeks since the ball. It was so familiar to him now. He would catch himself daydreaming about her a dozen times from sunrise to sunset, each new cycle magnifying both his affection for her and his jealousy of Mr.Kingston. The latter was a new and uncomfortable sensation for him. In a strange way, he wished that he could consult her about it. No matter the problem, he could always rely on her calm judgment and rational way of thought. More and more he saw how her presence had a tempering effect on him, how he depended on her as a confidant.
She dipped a cloth into the hot water and wiped away the remnants of lather. A few drops of the lavender oil were shaken into her palm and she rubbed them together.
This time when he closed his eyes, there was no fear; he only felt her, her hands on his face, gently patting and massaging, thumbs making slow tantalizing circles over his cheekbones. It took every ounce of strength not to turn his head just so and lean forward to press his mouth to hers. The useless arm was a blessing in disguise he realized. It prevented him from doing something he might regret later. The nails on that hand were digging into his palm, the muscles tense from being tightened into a fist for so long. He was nearly shaking with the effort of controlling himself.
“There, now,” she proclaimed in satisfaction, stepping back to observe her work. “All smooth and ready for slumber.”
The loose muslin of her nightgown had become hitched under an arm and was pulled taut across her abdomen, cupping the globes of her breasts for a few seconds – the sight making his palms ache to support their weight- before she lifted her hands to push some strands of hair off his brow and the gown fell back into place. He should have looked away before then. He should have.
And then before he knew what she intended, she stooped and placing both hands on his curly head, tilted it forward, kissing his brow with the barest touch of her lips, and whispered “Thank you for saving me tonight, my hero.”
He dared to hope.
For a second.
His eyes flew open and met hers; and in that second, he thought he saw something. But it was the merest flash of an undiscernible kind and she spoke before he could give it a name.
“Although,” her voice returning to a regular level and taking on that teasing quality, “you’re probably going to be an insufferable braggart and act as though we were beset by highwaymen and you were forced to fend them off with your bare hands in order to do so. What a tale you will weave for the boys.”
She laughed again, tweaked his nose, and left the room in haste, leaving him frustrated and confused, with her wrapper still draped over his lap.
Bewilderment was added to his mental and emotional turmoil the next morning when she greeted him at breakfast as if nothing had happened the previous night. She was her usual self, pleasant to all around her and a delightful companion during the meal. During his fitful tossing in bed after she had shaved him, his imagination had run wild with thoughts of her and Mr.Kingston. He pictured her marrying the man, kissing him, sharing his bed. It was intolerable. Continuing in this way was not an option. He had to do something.
But what about her? What was she thinking? The possibility of rejection loomed over his visions of declaring himself and her welcoming him with open arms.
The doctor had been kind enough to stop by his room that morning and check on his shoulder. Before he departed, he assisted Tom with his waistcoat and cravat while he shared a prescription for any pain and recommended keeping the arm in a sling for several days. Tom was relieved for his help, thinking perhaps that Madeleine would appoint the business of dressing him to herself. He didn’t think he could make it through another ordeal like that. The thought drove him to consider riding the rest of the way to the estate on horseback, even with only one arm available.
She frowned at him when he mentioned it to her, her expression reminding him of the way his sister looked at her children on occasion.
“Of course you can’t do that, you’re a one winged sparrow right now, you silly man.”
He was forced to be resigned to another hour or two in a closed space with her and mentally braced himself for whatever might occur; however, his worries were in vain as she fell asleep within a few minutes of being seated in the carriage, which surprised him more than a little. Supposing that she would be somewhat hesitant, considering what had occurred the day before, he had made sure to enquire about her physical state, searching her face and eyes for any sign of fear. She was fine, she assured him, just anxious to be home for a day or two and then to return to London.
“And you?” she asked in a low tone as her brows knit together in concern, “Were you able to get some rest? Do you need anything for the pain?”
No, you infuriating woman, I did not rest. And you are what I need for the pain. You. Your kisses would be the sweetest balm.
So many months had passed since he had been into Sussex with her that he had forgotten how much it suited her. In spite of how much she enjoyed being in town with her family during the season and her pleasure of what the bustling city offered in the way of amusements, there was a marked difference in her countenance when she was on her own estate. Left to her by an aunt who had never married and did not have an heir, it held many fond memories of childhood for her and she was thrilled to call it her own as an adult.
He loved seeing the change in her face when they crossed the last hill and the stately Elizabethan mansion appeared in the distance. Childish glee lit her and she invariably signaled the coachman to halt so that she could walk the last mile or so, as long as the weather permitted it. The fresh air and views were a balm to him as well and he joined her for the ramble. She stopped a few times to gather some early wildflowers and couldn’t help but place a blossom or two in her hair. While she loved the rainy days that gave her a reason to stay lounging about the library all day with her precious books and maps and letters, she equally loved the clear skies, basking in the sunshine like the old cats who had the run of the grounds.
Any tenants or servants who crossed her path as she approached were delighted to see her. Warm greetings were offered, inquiries made after the health of their respective families, all manner of sincere niceties were exchanged. He was full to the brim with a sense of pride in her: pride that she was so loved, pride that she was so respected, pride that the sight of her inspired such reactions. It was new and confusing. Why should he feel this way? He had no right to the sensation, yet he could not deny or ignore it. Different, so very different from the affection and admiration that he had carried for her over the years. Nothing about her had changed; the change was in him. The same vision was before him, but a veil had been lifted and he saw with absolute clarity for the first time.
She was so beautiful, so gay, so full of life and laughter that he again had to restrain himself from reaching for her. The urge was becoming as natural to him as breathing and over the last 24 hours, every repressed tendency that he’d been able to master for years was threatening to overpower him. He had to do something. No matter the risk. He couldn’t wait any longer. He would do it here, now, in this paradise of gardens that held flowers she tended and rooms that bore her fingerprints.
He knew her nature. There had never been occasion on which he had seen her display any kind of cruelty or disdain for another person’s feelings. The teasing nature he so loved never reigned in times of earnest entreaty from someone, most particularly from those she loved; regardless of their status or age, she was always consistent in the manner of compassionate response given to them. He would simply have to trust in that confidence, that she would listen to his avowal of his great regard for her with the same benevolence; and were she to return his affection in kind, he was convinced that they could face any opposition, familial or otherwise, united in hearts and minds.

This thing is long, but it covers a lot.So,yeee.
Who better to go depth about than WD!Kayla, since I’m all about Watch Dogs these days?A lot of this stuff is copied from the original post I made...i also removed some of the things since I have not thought about it as far
Basics

“Not every day you see someone with heterochromia.”
Left eye is blue, right eye is green
Hair:
Original hair color is dirty blonde Currently ombre:Brown - Dirty blonde - Blonde
Long hair, shaved shorter on the right side.Leaving it loose or tying it in a ponytail or something depends on how she’s feeling, and whether it’s mission time or not. Can’t work if you’ve got hair in your face.
Physical Flaws/Birthmarks/Scars:
Huge scar through her left eye,and a small one through her lip on the right. There are some other faint scars here and there, nothing too major though.
Lots of freckles
Usual Attire:
{I’ll post the clothing rambles from the original}
Has a variety of beanies, snapbacks and caps
Has one pair of sunglasses, aviators,as the rest got broken
She wears glasses, unless out on missions
Has a lot of t-shirts and hoodies
Has a fair amount of long sleeved shirts
Has a lot of jeans, shorts and sweatpants
Owns a few pairs of sneakers and track-shoes,and two pairs of combat boots
Has a few bandannas/masks
Has literally one fancy shirt she wears with a vest, bowtie, black pants and sneakers
Went to Swelter Skelter as some sort of glow in the dark Matryoshka-fied skeleton

PJs are a random t-shirt and boardshorts {Onesie in the winter over that}
Has a hoodie that says 'Ghost’ and '07’ on the back {Aka my favorite Mystery skulls song and lucky number}
Tattoos/Piercings:
A lot of ear piercings on both sides, and a tongue piercing
A bunch of stars on her left wrist,a small ‘x’ on top of her right wrist,and a ’=D’ on her back {right shoulder}
Other Accessories:
She wears a lot of bracelets ‘n stuff, and glasses
Personality
Personality Traits:
Stubborn
Cares a lot for her family,friends and workpals {who’re also friends}
Loyal to DedSec
Not easily influenced
Quiet
Overthinks everything
Sarcastic
Not easily intimidated {Or so she claims}
Happy with what her life is,even between all the stress and overthinking.
Has some trust issues. The type where she gets this feeling in her gut telling her whether a person can be trusted or not.She trusted her workpals immediately, she trusted Ray immediately…as an example of who she didn’t trust,Horatio’s co-worker.And she wasn’t even on that mission.
Usually keeps things that wouldn’t be important to the current objective(s)/mission(s) to herself
It’s a good thing her face is blurred out like the others’,cause she’s camera shy.She hates getting photos taken of her,she hates looking at the camera…unless of course, she’s the one taking a photo of scenery or of friends. If you’re gonna point a camera of any sort to her face, she will not hesitate to break it.
Very protective over the things and people she cares about. So,you wreck her car? You insult DedSec or target her pals? You mess with Sitara’s artwork? You kidnap other DedSec members? Mess with DedSec’s systems? You mess with her dog or drag her family into things you shouldn’t? You better start running then, pal. And make it fast.
Trained herself to not cry in front of people. It’s harder than it looks.Anger also gets bottled up.One day she’ll snap….probably.Then all chaos and hell will break loose.
Loses a lot of sleep thinking
Stresses over nothing
Introvert
Reckons anything can be solved by an asskicking
Takes her job seriously, but,in between she likes messing with people
Claims she doesn’t care, but she cares too much
Honesty, loyalty, respect and trust are big things to her.As explained before, she follows her gut on who to trust and who not.If you’re gonna betray DedSec,you might end up dead.Everybody lies,it’s human nature, but that’s where trust and loyalty comes in with honesty. The three walk hand in hand, really.Respect? You respect her,she respects you,as easy as that.
-Because she keeps a lot of things to herself,a lot of her personality remains a mystery.
What annoys her?

Personal
A brief description of your character’s history:
Born South African, moved to San Francisco.Parents also in SF,while sister moved to South Korea with a friend.Been living there for 5 years.Hacking’s been a big hobby since she was younger. She kept it a secret from her parents,to avoid being lectured and banned from her computer.Big gamer since she was a teenager.Became an intern at a police station while still at university. It doesn’t make sense why an IT student would decide on working at a police station, but eyyy, whatever.Got promoted for solving some huge computer related cases through hacking. Two years back she was called to investigate something not even closely related to hacking computers. They reckoned she would be able to handle it.Went undercover.Had to take on dangerous 'jobs’ and compete in races in order to infiltrate and take down a ruthless international crime smuggling syndicate, consisting of illegal street racers and car thieves. She ended up leaving her temporary job because of the amount of times the police chased after her for street racing, resisting arrest and all the property damage.Y'know, going too deep undercover.Wrecked a lot of cars, got rid of a lot of thugs, hacked a lot cameras, streetlights and other things to finish her job and to get away. After that was over, she made sure to erase all of that off her profile on the ctOS database.Had to do a lot of things,a lot of dangerous things,to get noticed by DedSec,and eventually got in.It wasn’t really necesary that she put her life in danger like that, but she did anyway.Go big or go home…I won’t go much into detail about that because I haven’t thought as far.
{This mess….I’ll fix eventually.It’s random,it doesn’t make sense,it isn’t how real life works,but whatever.}
Political Preference:
“Anything’s better than where we are now, honestly”
Darkest Secret:
“All of ‘em are the same amount of darkness.I’ve done a lot of bad stuff, killed a lot of people...bad people of course....I think the worst thing I’ve done is probably causing a huge car crash during one of the races while I was undercover...”
Guilty Pleasures:
None?
Does she keep a diary or journal?
Yep,shockingly enough,she has a journal.She doesn’t use it as a diary,to write the day’s happenings,not always.She uses it to write notes down,draw scribbles,and to write down thoughts,things she has to do,etc.
Relationships
Family Living With:
She lives with her dog and a lot of house plants.Yeah.
Family Situation:
Her parents live in close range to her, which was just luck, honestly, and her sister {21 years old} lives in South Korea with a friend
Former Friends:
She had a group of friends back home, which she slowly lost contact with after high school...well,after the one’s wedding anyway.
Current Friends:
The main DedSec crew {Marcus,Sitara,Wrench,Josh,Ray} and some of the other DedSec members in the area. Was friends with Horatio too...but as we know....he’s gone.
Former Love Interest:
A guy from school...we’re not gonna go into that
Current Love Interest:
None

What do his/her friends like about her?
She’s a good firend and teammate, who cares a lot more for them than herself, she always sticks to mission orders while still having fun
What do his/her friends dislike about her?
The fact that she cares more for others than herself {it’s good and bad},always getting into trouble and almost gets herself killed somehow
Why do his/her enemies hate her?
That’s some streetracing history
The fact that she’s a hacker/DedSec member
Always ruining plans with her pals
Occupation:
She’s a member of DedSec,so,she’s a hacker.
As a cover/dayjob she works at a huge gaming store on some days {Every second day except for weekends}.It’s just a temporary job for now.She ended up applying for some programming job, like her parents wanted.Just waiting to hear back.
Relationship Status:
Single,no crushes or anything of the sort. “Had to leave everyone behind since we moved here….went to uni, didn’t find anyone that’s my type…and some things that happened in the past leave me in this state where I am against romance I guess? Not like an abusive relationship or heartbreak or anything like that…just things I’m not gonna talk about.”
Virgin?
Yep
Hate anyone?
Obviously - can’t have enemies for nothin’
Killed anyone?
Again,that’s obvious
Would you and your character get along?
Yeah,she’s my persona after all
Would you like to hang out with your character?
Hell yeah
Would your character like you?
Not sure on that one
Abilities/Achievements

Finished high school and she finished studying at the university too
Became a famous gamer {No hacking/cheats}
Still being alive is also an achievement

Almost got Marcus and the others killed a few times
Skills:
That’s part of the ‘other’ section I’m adding to the thing
How strong is she?

She likes exercising to keep herself in shape for missions and such - jogs from time to time, goes to a gym,ye.
Physical Health Problems:
Nothing major or deadly...nothing as far as I know?
Mental Health Problems:
Does being a bit of an insomniac count?
Hygiene:
Amazing hygiene, very important to this human. She isn’t one of those extremely clean freaks though, who are afriad of germs ‘n getting their hands dirty.
Situations (What would they do or how would they react?)
Your character is called up for an award and is congratulated.
She’s be happy and accept, but she won’t go bragging about it or anything.
Your character didn’t win any awards and watches as someone else is congratulated.
She’s be really damn happy for that person, unless it’s someone with a hidden agenda/someone of evil nature.
Your character is winning at a game of some kind.
Again,she’d be happy,but doesn’t brag or go and insult the other team {if it’s a multiplayer game}
Your character lost at a game of some kind.
You win some, you lose some. She shrugs, and encourages her team that they’ll do better next time {again,if it’s a multiplayer game}.
Your character has a crush on someone and must find out how to tell them.
Whelp, like me,she’s probably not gonna tell the person.Fear of getting rejected ‘n all.
Your character tells that person and they agree to go out with them.
She makes sure to get enough advice so she doesn’t screw up.Real nervous and flustered.
Your character tells that person and gets rejected.
That’s why we don’t tell the person in the first place.
Your character is asked out by someone they like.
Very blushy and flustered, speaks gibberish, and would probably say yes.She wouldn’t trust it at first, but if she knows the true intentions of the person, she’d agree.
Your character is asked out by someone they don’t like that way.
To spare feelings, she’d still agree, but if it goes a bit too far/awkward,she’ll explain.
Your character’s crush is revealed by someone else.
She doesn’t have a crush at the moment,so ha
Your character loses a family member or a close friend.
That actually happened...losing Horatio was a painful time, full of sadness and crying. She wasn’t as close to him, but, yeah.
Your character loses a pet.
Crying for a million years
Your character loses a very important personal belonging.
If it was stolen, she’ll track the person down and kick their ass.if it was lost through anything else, she’d be sad, mad, and probably see if she can replace it.
Your character loses something that they were borrowing.
“Well shit” Time to go on a crazy search for the item.
Your character is stolen from.
Track ‘em down, and kick their ass
Your character is offered drugs/alcohol/a cigarette.
Hates alcohol, smoking and drugs. Thus, she doesn’t drink at all,she has never smoked, never done drugs or vaping or anything of the sort. if you’re gonna give her alcohol, she’s not gonna drink it.If you’re gonna give her a cigarrette, she’ll throw it away.If you give her drugs, she’ll give them right back.
Your character is publicly humiliated in front of a lot of people.
Wouldn’t be the first time. She shrugs it off, but,it’ll haunt her thoughts for quite a while.
Your character killed someone.
She’s killed a lot of people...bad people,so,nothing big.
Your character witnessed a murder.
She can’t handle death of the innocent,so usually when witnessing the murder of an innocent person or animal, she’ll murder whoever did it.She gets this weird feeling inside, like a mini heart attack or so.
Your character is being argued with.
She’s stubborn,so don’t think she’ll give up on arguments so easily. If it’s someone she cares about, she’ll accept their statement rather than arguing.
Your character trips and hurts herself.
Welcome to clumsy R us.Since she was little, she tripped a lot and hurt herself.Scraped knees ‘n legs, scraped elbows, arms and hands. It’s happened so much before, that she doesn’t even feel the pain anymore.
Your character is given a gift they’ve always wanted.
Really thankful, thanks the person a million times, makes sure what she’ giving is put to use.
Your character is given a gift they couldn’t care less about.
She is still thankful, and still makes use of whatever she’s given.
Your character arrives home after a bad day.
She just showers, eats, then goes to watch TV,play games, listen music or whatever, and goes to bed early.
Your character arrives home after a good day.
Pretty much the same thing...just less angry/sad and she goes to bed whenever she feels like.
Other
{self added section to repost the rest of the stuff}
Working for: DedSec,what did you expect? She was going to go work for those dumbass monkeys,or the rat cult? Pff,nah.
Cars:
Personal car is the Ford Ranger truck she got ported in from home. It’s white with black decals and raptor kit.The thing’s a beast.
Other car she keeps in the garage is the Lotus Elise she used to streetrace with.Purple with a white stripe down the middle. This thing is upgraded to the max {of course what garages can do,plus some things only a hacker can pull off}.Best part is,it doesn’t look like it belongs on the /shittycarmods subreddit.
During the day, while on missions, she has some randomass car/truck/four wheeler/motorbike she 'borrows’ or the one car she’s been putting some DedSec decals on {Sitara’s design,of course}….Then there’s the DedSec police cruiser too.
Pets: She has a Great Dane named Trompie. Her parents watch the dog during the day {or night depending on missions} and if she has to stay at the Hackerspace/work on missions all day,she takes him along. He behaves, and doesn’t annoy anyone…unless he sits on the couch. He’s got his own little space, with food, water and a blanket to sit on,plus newspapers.Even got toys. He’s 7 months old,and like his owner,he has heterochromia. The name’s Afrikaans, since well, can’t forget your roots, can ya? Wears a DedSec bandana over his collar.Pretty smart, but he has a thing for chasing after the drones and little RC rovers. Was not a big fan of Wrench Jr.
It took a few weeks for Wrench to get used to the dog.He didn’t even notice it until it was lazing on the couch next to Mickey while she was working. It was a scene to experience.
He doesn’t go along on missions for obvious reasons {Micks doesn’t want him to get hurt/killed…and she’s pretty sure he’d be in the way…or set off an explosive or something}.
Random shiz:
Main hangout is the main Hackerspace from the game.Second being the Silicon Valley one.
Has gone on some missions with Marcus {the ones where multiple things need to be done or where it’s going to take more than one person to do,but it’s only one thing that needs to be stolen/hacked}.
When looked at with the profiler her profile says
ctOS.exe has stopped responding
Memes 'n Dreams
How 'bout nah
Also does the parkouring, climbing high buildings and messing with cranes
Likes the skeleton Dedsec paint on her cars/motorbikes
Almost shot Lenni quite a few times - too many witnesses stopped her from doing so
Finds it entertaining to help Wrench {he’s a really amusing guy to be around,alright?}
Graffiti is great
Reckons a 'Josh protection squad’ should be made {Don’t harass him,pls}
Sees Ray as some sort of cool hippie uncle
Doesn’t smoke but always has a lighter to set stuff on fire if needed
Named her drone and rover she printed.Harvey for the rover and Zippy for the drone. Why,you might ask? Why not? Their names are painted on the sides of them.
“There’s another reason I get called Ninja. It’s not just the screenname.“
Sneaking/Stealth skill +100
Parkour skill +90
Agility +87
Speed +85
Martial arts and self defence +90
Even with skill, she’s really damn clumsy
Is sometimes going out on missions instead of Marcus,if Marcus needs to rest or recover.Goes on own little side missions as well
“First day on the damn job and I get my hoodie stolen by my workpal.”
When out on missions during the day,she wears a range of shirts/hoodies.On nightly missions she wears all black.
Weapons of choice are:
*Stungun
*SVD/other snipers {Including the Stun sniper}
*Shotguns
*Baseball bat
*Knives,especially flip knives
When hanging out at the Hackerspace {with nothing else to do} she’s sitting with her laptop or working on a PC.Either hacking, working stuff out,or searching useful stuff.
Her phone has a little charm hanging on the side. It’s a mini Deadpool logo
Always there to lend a hand
While she has told the others about the street racing stuff after first joining, she literally never talked about it again, hoping they’d forget
Isn’t one for cursing too much, but in some situations it’s needed to calm a person down…will not hesitate to swear in another language.
Fingerguns
Doesn’t drink coffee or tea,or hot chocolate.
Always carries one of her flip knives with her.
Never reveals location of her house or her parents’. Usually kills the cameras temporarily in the area when she’s driving home.
Night owl/always exhausted pigeon
Likes fire and setting things on fire {Do you know how great it is to set gangs’ supplies ablaze just to spite them?}
Also a fan of explosives.Don’t give her any though….she’ll probably blow stuff up she’s not supposed to.
Not that good a swimmer. She can swim well enough to keep herself from sinking, but she ain’t no olympic medallist.
Likes camping
Probably became part of the team a bit before our boy Marcus.A few weeks before, probably.
References to movies/games/songs and puns 100%
Loves animals, and pets every single dog she can
Doesn’t have the cleanest resume.Street racing,property damage,murder,hacking,breaking into private property,stealing {data,high-tech weapons,etc},car theft,resisting arrest,the list goes on.
Wishes grappling hooks were actually a thing {simlar to those of JC3 or spy movies}
Loves Deadpool
Always has earphones in the ears if not listening to others talk or on missions,and still hears everything she’s supposed to around her. {I own this skill,so it ain’t impossible}
Loving the zombie apocalypse/post apocalyptic stuff
Loves drawing, that’s why graffiti is also great
While she dresses like a hipster/geek {with some badass Dedsec stuff in between} most of the time, she’s an emo/punk soul.
Can’t dance to save her life
Reckons that her haircut is shit, and that it’s the product from getting drunk with friends. Thus, the hate for alcohol grows stronger
Likes Vaperwave and Retrowave stuff
Avoids clubs of any sort
Mosquito magnet
Can program and reprogram a lot of things, such as robots, drones, hell,if she tries hard enough she might be able to do the same to cars, but building/rebuilding/re-engineering things…that’s difficult. The only building related skill she has is upgrading and modding her drone and RC rover, along with fixing up/upgrading/modding cars.
Learned a lot about cars while undercover.
Did some graffiti work for Sitara.Got a badass galaxy DedSec design on the side of some building, and a little DedSec-fied Undertale reference one too.
Was very disturbed when that whole thing with the DedSec parody and strip club owner went down.Almost had a heart attack when Marcus told the bunch that the Bratva threw him in the trunk of a car that’s in the process of being crushed.
When threatening people {Bad people,'course} she likes saying that she’s going to snap the person like a stick
House isn’t as big a mess as one would think {Compared to Ray’s old place/the silo and the motel room where Aiden lived before it got blown up}.The hacking related things, such as her computer, laptop,at least nine monitors,a ton of harddrives, etc, are in her room, and there’s no sign of anything of the sort outside of that.
Parents still oblivious, still don’t know she’s a hacker, still don’t know about her street racing ways. She prefers it that way….that’s why nobody sees the garage or bedroom.
Not a fan of attention, would rather keep a low profile and let her workpals get the fame. But of course, when there’s some bad stuff on DedSec,she won’t be afraid to show off her opinion and stick with the others
It’s great being sometimes-partners with Marcus
It’s also great going off on missions on your own
“Screw you,you son of a bitch.”
*Proceeds to flip person off as it’s the worst she’ll do before it switches to violence and knife threats*
“Viva La Resistance/Rebellion” in a really bad French accent
“You see this knife? It’s my knife. What I’m gonna do with it? Shove it down your throat if you don’t shut the hell up.”
“The name’s Dead Inside. How ya doin’?”
“You look like a terrorist.”
“I promise you,I am NOT a terrorist.”
“What are you then?”
“A ninja.”
“Are you some kind of weirdass goth person?”
“Nin-ja.”
She has abandonment issues, that’s why she prefers doing missions solo.Means she can’t lose anyone while on missions or get betrayed/left behind.
#that took a lot longer to do than I expected#but have some new suff and stuff from the original post#still working on my trainwreck of a oneshot#still working on my picture#character bio#watch dogs#watch dogs 2#watch dogs oc

How We Made An 8-Foot Planter Box
Elaborate landscaping and flowering gardens exist in our dreams; not so much in reality. Container gardens are my domain for now, and between herbs and potatoes and flowering front porch planters, we kind of rocked it this season. I always knew I’d get around to adding great planter on the treehouse, and early in the summer, it came to life (and of course it was completely assembled and installed in, like, an hour… just a reminder to stop putting stuff off, E.)
We couldn’t be happier with how it blossomed this growing season.
Things I used:
Two 5/4×6″ 8-foot deck boards
Four pieces of 2×6, cut to 6″ in length
Steel mesh fencing
Drill with assorted bits
20+ 3-1/2″ exterior screws (this thing will never fall apart, nor fall down)
air compressor and a nail gun fitted with 1/2″ staples
my favorite natural stain made of vinegar and steel wool
a very tool-savvy tween who enjoys herself some DIY
If you’re looking for a fast project, this is it. The full 8-foot deck boards extend as the front and back of the planter–selected because deck boards are lighter than 2x lumber–and the cut 2×6 pieces form the ends of the planter, and act a few cross-braces for added durability. Sandwiched in there, the 2x offers bigger target to hit when you’re drilling through a deck board and trying to hit something on-center. And they’re undeniably more solid. If you’re considering your own DIY window box, after 4 months hanging filled with dirt and plants on our treehouse, this is a construct that I would do again 1,000,000x over. It’s solid as can be.
Step 1: Make your big rectangle
Dry fit the 8-foot boards, with the 2x pieces sandwiched perpendicularly in between. Do a rough layout, clamp it in position, and predrill everywhere you need to attach. Don’t scrimp on screws, use enough to feel confident that it won’t warp (3 at each joint should do the trick). Use the long screws to assemble the outer rectangle that will become your planter.
Step 2: Install your base
Drainage is a big issue with planter boxes made completely of wood. If it doesn’t have good drainage, your plants might suffer and the wood will deteriorate faster, and maybe troubleshooting this aspect of the build is why it took me 3 years to get this made. I eliminated my concerns about rotting by installing a heavy-duty steel mesh across the bottom of the planter, like a little planter hammock, if you will. I draped it along the inside of the assembled rectangle, trimmed it to size, and then we used a staple gun to pin the metal in place around the inside bottom edge of the planter.
Step 3: Add cross braces for reinforcement
How many cross pieces you install depends on your confidence with the construction to this point. I added two–evenly spaced at 1/3 and 2/3 marks along the 8-foot length, knowing that it would really help to keep the planter square and distribute the weight of the soil against the front of the planter. You’ll get the visual in the next photo.
Step 4: Install that planter!
I guess it’s worth noting that I also stained it prior to installing, using what is typically my favorite natural stain. It usually takes a few months to fully transform the color of the wood, but I think the solution I applied hadn’t brewed long enough; even today, the color is much lighter than I expected it would be. Shoulda been more like the color of this garden box accessory. Another coat of stain to come in the future.
Every single time I’ve considered adding planter boxes beneath a window, I’ve felt conflicted because of the commitment factor – either you’re putting them there for life and committing to maintaining them, or you’re putting holes into your siding or trim and opening up the chances of rainwater seeping through those openings. I’m really sorry I don’t have the right answers for those of you doing that type of planter box, because my planter is outdoors, in an unfinished space that already gets wet, attaching to a railing that is already a solid, sturdy natural hardwood. All I can say is that I used 12 giant exterior screws to mount this to the railing, which averages a screw every 8″, and some might say that’s overkill but there’s no such thing as overkill when you’re securing a heavy wooden box that’s going to be filled with heavy soil and growing plants directly above where your children hopscotch all day long.
Step 5: Fill it up
Whoa there. First things first. Along the bottom, before adding dirt, we shaved pieces of moss from the yard and laid it soil-side up in the planter. With the moss facing down, we formed a living base that continue to thrive beneath the plants, and would also prevent muddy run-through without affecting proper drainage. I’m happy to say that it worked well and continued on with its green, mossy self.
Our assortment of small market-bought herbs, flowers, and cascading greens filled in nicely, too. I trimmed the herbs like it was my job (photographed them too, for this piece on why/how to prune and grow herbs for DIY Network), and just this week began to transplant them indoors to see if I can get them through the winter to re-plant next spring.
Bonus Points:
I attached a row of pon push pins (my fave of all the push pins) on the railing, so that the kids could ID the plants and remember which was which as they grew. It was pretty brilliant, if I do say so myself, since the plant markers are covered by soil, or moved around and hidden within a few weeks of planting. This not only helped us remember which plant was which (apparently we aren’t people who can tell the difference between parsley and cilantro nor stevia and lemon basil, when under pressure <shrugs>) but it also taught the kids to be mindful of what the plant likes, what it looks like when blossoming, etc.
If you’re not familiar with Pon Pins yet, welcome to your next happy thing. An alternative to push pins, they press in like you would expect, but rest flush against the surface and host a tight coil in which you can slide artwork and photos through without devastatingly having to puncture holes into your stuff. To get them secured in wood, I simply drilled a small hole, poked the end of the Pon into some strong adhesive, and then tapped it into the predrilled hole. Have not had an issue with them popping loose yet, though the labels for our plants have been the only things occupied this year.
Our gardens were time-sucks this summer, and I loved every minute of it. There are a few other things I want to get around to sharing this fall that might help you plan for next spring, but you can also see peeks of these things on Instagram if you scroll around the feed @merrypad.

Pre pre race
Waw, it's been a while since cross ... I went to Tenerife after last cross race, you know, because everyone has to go to Canary islands to cycle, right? RIGHT? Fuck that shit, one night we got so drunk we lost a friend, he never made it home, we assumed he was dead ... I guess that's what happens if 5 shots cost 5 EUR AND you get a bottle of shit champaigne on the top ... #carbloading? So ... experiencd looking for a corpse with a massive hangover in weird piss smelling corridors under bars in party alleys. He was ok, he went to an afterparty with Norwegians. Fucking Norwegians ... Never planned to touch a bike that week, would probably punch it after .... also, beer costed 1 EUR. Ah yes, I was pretty fed up with bikes by that point, I counted 15 cross races and 13 road races from last season ... I should probably write a retrospective post ... By the looks of it I spend ... 28 days racing and ... at least twice that amount training, AT LEAST ... so ... FML ... wait, I have no life ... UGHHHH Come January I hooked up with a coach and this new super system called xert which has numbers and graphs and these projected values and shit and I started training again ... Indoors, in front of a fan ... soooo muuuuuch fun I like having a coach, I lack the discipline to be my own coach ... Ola, you the MAN! So January, February, Marchuary was a combination of 3 - 5 - 5 - 1, XSS here, XSS there ... What this means is: 3-5x hard session per week, rest, contemplate dying, train, rest, can one die from exhaustion, train, hate life, train, hate bike, train, recover, cook, eat, cook, eat, eat, WHERE IS MY CHOCOLATE??? Let's buy some chips ... I will totally start eating healthy when the season starts ... repeat Nothing new ... So I spend ... way more than 30 hours training in jan, feb and march ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In the meantime we shot a promo video for a company to earn some money for the kids in the club. See screen grab above ... we had fun ... At some point I get a VO2max and lactate threshold test, best numbers ever. I was in a shit mood tho, work got in the way that day, it got in my head, IN MY HEAD ... But then I also started riding outside, like ... well, - 130km with my cross bike in rain with dry chain lube (now THAT was funny) - 120km and 100km with my road bike - 1x lågtempo intervallen with klubben - 1x shitty attempt at solo intervals that resulted in my knee hurting and me feeling like shit for 2 days Ah yes, my knee started hurting on my bike, I guess the saddle went to shit ... Get paycheck, buy licenses (plural, this shit is real yo!), sign up for Slagelse, let the tension rise ... Shave legs, best 2 hours of the week ... Contemplate cutting hair, but after a comment from Glenn: 'Dude, I am losing mine, so you are definitelly keeping yours, I encourage long hair' I decide to keep it ... Stop by Musette and SLAM THAT STEM (thanks guys, you're the best) Avoid alcohol whole week, yeah right, stress at work, meet deadlines, amazing, have 2 beers on Thursday, friday night ... well, I had a hof after 3 alkoholfree beers, let's leave it at that ... Wait, are we doing the whole alcohol thing again this year? FUCK ...
Pre-race
Play this and read on ...

Plan before today: exchange in chasing down attacks, stay in front, don't attack unless it gets really booring Plan today: Jonte - I'm just gonna chill for the first 2 laps, me: DEATH BEFORE DNF, AARGGGHHHHHH, you're kidding Jonte, right?
Race
We start, I stay up front, good job Miha There is this huge ABC dude who is like all over the place, looking back, talking loud ... jerk, I hope you get dropped After first couple of rolling hills we enter into a big road and KANTVIND YES, I WAITED ALL FUCKING WINTER FOR THIS BRING IT OOOONN!!!!1! booom, attack, couple of riders go, I am in front of peloton, normal pace, waiting for Jonte to launch behind ... nope Pace picks up, I wait ... nope EVERYONE SPRINTING FUUUUUUUCK Chase, chase, chase ... ok, we're goood, contact regained Right turn, again, pace picks up, as we hit the first smaller climb attack, uphill, kantvid Left turn, kantvind, downhill, attacks keep coming, we're chasing, I am chasing for my fucking life here ... Jonte? Nope ... Random Swedish dude goes, for like 2 seconds ... Big road, kantvind, new break of 3 is like 15s ahead, I lead the pack, try to chase ... I tire myself out chasing and then everyone starts springintg again AGAIN ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? ... well, it was painful but I got back in pack, in the back Oh, there's Jonte ... (later, the xert graphs show it was like really painful, like, lines were crossing and shit ... amazing) Final climb - kantvind, attack again UUUGHHH Start-finish straight, kantvind, attacks again ... Lap 1 done Internal evaluation of the situation: This is gonna hurt ... Lap 2 mellows down a bit, but it's still fucking crazy in kantvind Big road, we're all over the place, avoind oncoming traffic by like 2cm just to have that wheel RANDOM RANT: Hey douchebag driver, I wonder if you would be so fucking brave enforcing your right of way against an oncoming truck in your lane. Or a tank. Or a plane ... Yeah?!? ... I thought so ... fucking arrogant cunt, fuck you ... I mean there is this downhill section with kantvind, we're going all out, really ALL OUT just to keep the wheel of the guy in front ... Insane ... Jettison an empty bottle just after the finishline #feelingpro Lap 2 done Notice Random Swedish dude is dropped, so is large ABC loudmouth ... haha Internal reevaluation of the situation: Well, actually, this is manageable ... ASS CRAMP FML At some point there is an attack and Jonte joins GO JONTE ... but we all accelerate, so they're caught Lap 3 is fun, we actually form a chasing group up front, we're 5-6 cyclist chasing a group of 3 that made it at some point I even shout a bit since people stop working after a right turn Mmmm, shouting at people ... By the end of lap 3 just before the climb noone wants to really pull, so ... little break, we're looking at eachother ... NOTE: last climb is a small road, so it's important how one is positioned, so about 2km to that intersection all hell breaks loose when people want to get into right position There we are, just looking at eachother ... and BOOOM, people start going, all over the place, chasing here, there ... I do a bit of too much effort, shoft to the wrong side in the wind ... Try to catch a wheel but everyone is zooming by, no gaps, no nothing 20 like riders pass me FUUUUUCK Chasing, chasing, chasing ... ok, contact Last climb, finish straight fast pace ... I'm dead ... I definitelly burned my last match there Internal reevaFUCK THIS SHIT, FUCKING WIN IT OR DIE Death metal song plays in head ... Last lap Plan - keep things under control, stay up front, whatever happens, stay up front ... It hurts, but I stay up front I slide back a bit on the big open road and BAM, CRASH, BIKES FLYING AND THERE IS A RED TREK COMING MY WAY IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII OK, AVOIDED Aftermath ... chase, chase, chase ... Internal thought: Maybe the DIE methafor was too much? Close every gap, EVERY FUCKING GAP Enter last climb, good position, all good, let's see if we can get the final attack in LEG CRAMPS I guess not ... Ease the pace, nicely get to the finish with another dropped dude
