The fact that Bruce just knows the trapeze routine Dick was doing already. The implication that they probably practice together often as a form of father son bonding just as Dick used to turn his birth parents.

“I’m fine,” Bruce had said before Clark even had a chance to ask.

But he wasn’t fine. Clark could see it in the slump of his shoulders, the exhaustion in his voice. He wanted to say something—anything—but Bruce’s walls were as thick as his armor. Now, sitting here, Clark felt the same familiar frustration building in his chest. Why couldn’t Bruce just let someone help him? Why did he insist on carrying everything alone, as if it was some kind of punishment?

The rain grew heavier, the sound a low roar that filled the room. Clark leaned back in his chair, his eyes flicking to the dark skyline outside his window. He wondered where Bruce was right now.
