Ok come on a journey with me.

So in "Take Me Out To The Holosuite" they all sign this baseball for Sisko, right? And clearly they had all the actors sign the ball for the character (cute) because frankly no prop department would miss the opportunity to use their alien scripts. I'll buy that Worf usually writes his name in Klingon but was like "oh everyone signed in Standard I guess I'll sign in Standard." But even if Quark can write his name in Standard (for business purposes, sure, I'll buy that) I just don't see him drawing the little ears on the Q! Quark isn't afraid of a little whimsy but I think he's just too toxicly masculine to draw a little picture in his signature. And we've seen Ferengi writing and have even seen Quark's name:

(I would have liked it a lot better if the baseball had the alien names in the alien alphabets but w/e)

So either

a. Quark is like, pfft, these aren't real letters, might as well draw a little picture (maybe?)

or

b. Someone who speaks Standard wrote it for him and drew the little ears. But who? Jake? Something to consider.

First off if this is referring to just their current time period then yes I’d probably agree BUT since it’s a show and I think the creators were making a clever nod towards other shows I’d like to point out some things

Kirk is apparently too committed to the enterprise (yeah definitely the ship… nobod-nothing else) to commit to any of the women that he has definitely fucked

Kirk didn’t commit to Carol Marcus and she had his son

Almost every character is dating each other in this show and they made it canon for several but they all fall apart (Except Rom and Leela cause they’re perfect)

The O’Brien polycule… I drew it out but it got more complicated than the O’Briens (basically Julian is best friends with Miles who is married to Keiko. Keiko was on a shuttle while pregnant with Julian and Kira when there was a crash and Julian had to transfer the child from Keiko into either him or Kira, so Kira volunteered. She ends up living with the O’Brien’s while carrying the child and bonds with both of them (to the point both she and Miles think it’s weird). Kira eventually gets with Odo who is Quark’s nemesis and Quark is crushing on Jadzia who is exes with Julian who is (somewhat unknowingly) courting Garak. Jadzia Dax becomes married to Worf but I think her and Sisko have definitely fucked. Sisko is married to Kasidy and enemies with Gul Dukat who reciprocates that but is also fixated on Kira who hates him. Did I miss something?)

Now, I bet they did not count DS9 in their statistics because it’s a station not a ship but also because they’d always win this contest

To be honest Lower Decks is maybe the most outright vulgar in its language but most of the time it’s a feel good show about a bunch of best friends. Their captain is married, their CMO and head security officer are in a (happy?) relationship, and third thing here.

I haven’t seen any of Voyager or Enterprise and I don’t think Discovery is that horny/romantically uncommitted

Going to drop the perek lore here bc it's so confusing

First of all:

So basically first off current perek design :

Time for some lore dump, this will change and be refined but the basics is that:

Hes a cardassian experiment w biology to create a sort of super soldier.

That's why he's looks so different from other cardassians and has less need for social interactions.

Perek has the ability to regenerate limbs and such like surtain lizards that I forgot the name of but he if he's unable to regenerate an organ before it shuts down he will just die.

He ages slower then normal cardassians and also the horns and stuff.

Perek is inlove w worf bc I love that man.

I just need to write this down somewhere so it leaves my head and maybe, well maybe one of ye younge’ writers will see this and let it be known, we all write some real cringe shit at some point. Embrace it, nurture it, love it - it’s the cringe shit that will one day be most dearest to you and make you grande.

Why do I say that? Do you have an example, Dodge? Ohboi, I have. With my Star Trek nostalgia (tm) going on I remembered by cringe lil’ AU that I created as a formidable teen child of like 11 to 13 or something and honestly, you people here are probably the only ones knowing the value of cringe enough to share it with.

So, when I was a kid, I created a lil’ AU thingie to TNG that was basically all their kids. XD It was very cringe, but I loved it and drew tons of stuff and wrote tons of stuff with these chars. Some solo adventures, some meeting canon chars. So, who were these people? Oh, ou gonna love it!

There was René Picard, the son of Jean-Luc and Beverly Crusher, then there was Kaz (commonly known as Kazzy) Riker, daughter of Will and Deanna Troi and then there was my peak fan-char android Layout, one of the two spare androids Soong had created before Lore and Data and then there was a borg lady who was Third, I think. Because she was third of a bad batch to be disposed of, before Layout found her and then there was a klingon Doctor, but I forgot her name, she was Worf’s grandchild or something and I believe a few more crew members, but I can’t remember them. ANYWAY. These people had adventures in space and I know that René in the “pilot” pulled a Kirk and messed up bad and got a ship almost distroyed believing he killed everyone, because he got lost in space and didn’t know they had been saved. There he was found my Layout and Third and he hid away for like a few years like the biggest Shakespeare nonesense going on there, when he ran into Kazzy and then there was a huge thing going on about Starfleet being in danger and he again pulled a Kirk and they saved everyone and René leaned he hadn’t killed everybody and he returned and for reasons Third and Layout totally joined Starfleet too and yas, adventures galore.  

So, yas. Marvel at my baby-brainchildren. I really need to check out at my parents place if maybe there are still some drawings existing or even writing on their old hardrive. XD
