Absolutely gutted about switchraft shutting down in December, I don’t know what to do with myself. It was such a meaningful, beautiful, fabulous to play game that I played constantly to help with my anxiety and cheer me up. It was the best match 3 game I’ve ever played, the gameplay was wonderful. I’m going to try and finish the story before it shuts down but I feel like I’m mourning Lovestruck all over again. It’s going to leave such a big hole in my life and I’m destroyed I only have less than two months left with it.

If anyone knows of a Switchcraft discord or wants to be friends and chat about it, feel free to lmk because the fandom feels so small and it’s hard to mourn alone 💔

was it this blog who said wooga might be gay too? i was rewatching friendcation again and paying closer attention and i definitely caught a potential vibe from wooshik and hyungsik. seojoon, i’m unsure but the space they all created together was very enjoyable to watch i know this might sound stupid because it’s entertainment in the end but to me it did feel like a safe space and i guess it says a lot tae and jk feel comfortable around them if we assume both are in fact gay (i don’t think either are bi like a lot of taekookers do)

I may not have been the first (though I don't if that's the case), I did theorise that WOOGA were all either Gay, Bi or Pan, Friendcation gave you a glimpse into their dynamic as group and it's not straight and it's not bro/frat like. In Korea having a single sex friendship group is normal and being overly familiar/physical with each other is also normal. On the surface, WOOGA look like a straight friendship group, but when you view them in daily setting, their vibe just don't come across as that.

I first noticed this in the Hwarang interviews and the way they all talked about each other (actually the whole male cast is giving queer vibes, it's odd). They also use terms like they are a family, Seojoon and Hyungshik the parents, Peakboy the guncle (I added the g) and Wooshik and Tae the terrible twins.

Also the way the touch each other, it reminds me of gay friendship groups that have no problem interlocking arms and being all touchy with each other, which a lot of Korean men tend to group out of as they mature (yes they can still be comfortable with skinship it's just not done all the time).

Google "gay friends" these will very similar to the ones you find.

These guys are not straight, but in Korean society isn't odd, because of skinship. This safe space has allowed Taekook to also be protected too.

November 4, 2023 (released)-

Tae, Jimin and Namjoon attend Jungkook’s private, listening party for his solo debut album “Golden.” Jimin posts these photos to his IG and Tae and Joon repost to their IG stories (Tae later adds some of the photos to his IG). I absolutely adore these photos! The genuine love and fondness Tae and Jk have for each other radiates through the photos. Both are so relaxed as they’re pressed up into each other’s space, and Tae is totally being an adorably, clingy, proud hubby in a lot of them. The fact that this was Jk’s special day, a day to celebrate the release of his solo debut album, and Taekook were so loud in showing they were a couple makes these photos special too. As I mentioned on Twitter, the husbands are husbanding! And it’s a great reminder that we only see a fraction of their lives. If these photos hadn’t been shared, we may never have known about this.

My absolute favorite photo of the batch is this one! They’re so close together - squished - which is such an intimate and close thing to do. They’re clearly comfortable being this close in each other’s personal space. It appears Tae is kissing Jk’s jaw or cheek. Add in the relaxed, blissed out, content, nirvana expression Jk sports and the pleased and proud expression Tae has as he tightly wraps his arms around Jk and I’m absolutely enamored with this photo -

I also really love this photo too, because Tae’s tucked into Jk, completely squished into him (again, all coupley) and it’s another photo that, for me, radiates a very proud Tae loudly exclaiming “he’s mine” to the camera (but of course, that’s just my take of the photo so please decide as you like!)

Peakboy, Tae’s friend and fellow Wooga member, also attended Jk’s listening party!

Dispatch covered the listening party. While discussing all four members, they made sure to focus on Taekook’s relationship, saying, “…Photos of V and Jungkook hugging each other and showing their bond together in an intimate setting were released. Create a warm feeling.”

And K media stated: "V and Jungkook who have been called Nick and Judy showed off their chemistry with the real life version of Zootopia's Nick and Judy"

No because you’re right, I’ve seen them claiming wooga is homophobic since forever but I have never seen a clip or a picture, they’re all parroting something that a tae anti said trying to paint Tae in a bad light.

But we don't know if Wooga is homophobic. They haven't said anything that indicates they are (unless I haven't seen it). But they are misogynists if we base ourselves on the things they've publicly said or liked.

But either way Jk is deciding to hang out with Wooga.

What do you think is the difference btw the way Tae treats wooga squad and JK? I mean he is also touchy with Wooga Squad, super close with Woosik… I would be Jealous if I am JK.

Tae and Wooge are like brothers/best friends, a bit like BTS, so Tae's interactions with them is very reminiscent to how he interacts with them. Tae and JK is just different, more couplely.

And this notion that JK gets jealous, I think a lot of times it more to do with the fact that for several year he could public interact with Tae the way he does with others.

November 3, 2023 (released) -

Jk is back on Spotify! I love seeing Tae and Jk on Spotify. Their interviews and tasks always make me smile and laugh, so it’s great to see Jk back after Golden released! He’s asked what he listens to the most right now, and responds that it’s New Jeans’ song “Ditto.” He then confirms what we heard in December 2022, that he went skiing with “Taehyungie Hyung” and friends.

Jk had so much fun snowboarding that he thought they’d do it again, but everyone else fell asleep at the resort, which is when “Ditto” played. The song is clearly nostalgic and brings back fond memories for Jk.

As a memory refresher: Hobi, Tae and Jk were seen skiing on December 14-15, 2022.

And on December 16, 2022, Hyungsik (actor and singer + Tae’s friend and fellow Wooga member), Tae and Jk were spotted at the ski resort.

What’s interesting is “Ditto” released on December 19, 2022, which means Tae, Jk and friends were at the resort for a few days past when they were spotted.

At the end of his interview, Spotify gifts Jungkook various things, like adorable customized boxing gloves, a candle, hoodie, bathrobe and a shirt. He asks the crew if they made the shirt, and the staff mentions that when Tae was on Spotify, he had wanted a shirt so they made one.

One thing that has always been a factor leading to my disbelief of TK is their high profile friendships outside of BTS. Don't you think that if, some years down the road, TK were more open or were outed that this would have a negative effect on their friends as well? I mean, the 97 liners and Wooga are famous and have reputations in their own right in Korea, but to have this association seems like a major risk for them as well. Absolutely, these guys love them, but the scrutiny they would also face seems insurmountable. I love TK! I just seriously have some doubts about the realness of the possibility of them being in a relationship. What are your thoughts on this?

Hi anon!

To me that isn't an issue at all. First of all, I don't feel their freindships are that calculated at all. Tae and Wooga are very public, and they do make use of their friendships for business reasons as well, but aside from that I'm quite convinced those friendships are actually very close. Park-Seojoon living with Tae for a while is a prime example of that imo. So when I think of those friendships as being genuine.. I don't feel they would stop being friends just because Tae and Jk are a couple and might get backlash for it at one point. True friendship means you stick with each other even when shit hits the fan. Those men know Tae is a good egg, so they wont drop him. And I think Tae is close with them, because they accept him for who he is. There might have been persons who he/they might've seen as friends once, but who did indeed feel befriending them was a hazzard or who they felt they couldn't trust enough.. but those people would simply not be close friends of them. Jk's 97liners know what it's like to be in the spotlight, they would know what Tae and Jk have gone through.. I don't think they would have close friends that are that shallow.

I actually think it's possible them having high profile friends might be a good thing. It might be an extra llayer of protection for them. Having high profile friends stand up for you (if they do) does help... especcially when we're talking about a country that will hopefully have changed a bit regarding queer acceptance when the time comes for Tae and Jk to eventually come out. Though in SK you never do know how things like that play out.

When they do choose to go public (and I don't expect that to be anything sooner than in ten years or so) it will probably not come as a total surprise to those who pay attention. It will be seeded in advance, to make sure people are not too shocked.
