Handiness Level 10 means Electricity is now unlocked!
Except I decided that was too easy, so I am making my sims suffer a little more and having them try to produce enough electricity for an entire round before I am allowing them to be on the grid. For new houses I'll probably skip that, but my founders get a little suffering. As a treat :3

Downloading sims custom content is so funny because I'm here like "omg this is so cuuuute I need to have it" and it's literally a shower curtain
#i'm not using cheats in my current neighbourhood so everyone is in starter homes and i'm getting sick and tired of everyone#having the exact same bathroom#it's literally only basic white toilet with wooden seat; cheap white squarish sink; cheap shower in the only colour it comes in#ya girl needs optionssss#so i'm downloading loads of plumbing items. next is couches because everyone has one of about three couches#they either have the basic loveseat; the wooden 3 seater or the granny 3 seater#the only people who are not afflicted by this problem are the family with two fortune sims. they have a really nice green couch#sidenote i looooove fortune sims. i got them the same job and they got promoted at the same times and they got the same chance card#on the same day and brought home a 7500 bonus each!! i about died of happiness#and then blew it all on bathroom renovations and a telescope and a nice couch. rip#this is really what i'm doing as a 28 year old with a job and responsibilities huh. you know what it's fine#i think 6 year old me would be happy to learn that i STILL play the sims#personal
