complaining about viv ships will be mostly my opinion because i dont have much energy to make five essays on what issue each ship has (i will if someone is THAT interested tho)

Charlie and vaggie are the most boring couple i have ever seen to the point i wont even bother talking about how vaggies whole ' whats the point if i cant help her' stuff they have going on

vortex and Beelzebub have the biggest issue of power equality to the point that Beelzebub is literally involved in the horrible treatment houndogs get making them the real "oppressor + oppressed" ship

ozzie and fizz talk to each other really weird and treat fizz like hes a baby and they generally have this very 2020 yaoi vibe with yes some good moments that i sadly have to ignore because Everytime they're on screen i cringe.. and guys i. dont. cringe. u really have to try HARD to get me to cringe

bilz and stolas have so much potential but that dumb childhood episode ruined it. they tried to make it unproblematic and took all the stuff that made it so interesting out so instead of two characters changing to make their toxic relationship work its well Kdrama (tho that gets me more invested that this ship) and that's ignoring the whole 'blitz is the bad guy" bs

cherry and pentious? acutally they're okay but they literally have like two episodes that is just him trying and failing to flirt which would have been cute but he died like so quickly after ..

Re: Hypertagging characters/ships for triggers, yeah as someone whos insane ass has a very serious trigger for a specific fictional character -particularly if they are portrayed in a positive light- I just Do Not Read Fic in that fandom by and large and blacklist it pretty hard.

It sucks I had to divorce myself from the fandom because I LIKED the earlier seasons and sometimes the fic was cute and good, but I simply cannot reasonably ask anyone to tag every mention of that character so I blacklist it all.

Its a me issue, NOT a them issue, so its my job to manage it and actually put effort into that.

That means blacklisting the show on every platform that is possible that I use, not following people who are likely to post that character, not consuming the new canon content of the show in case I get jumpscared with the character, and only ever intentionally looking for content if im in the right frame of mind to be able to stand simply seeing the name somewhere while I control+f a fic to see if they show up. I even sometimes ask friends to prescreen fics sometimes if I REALLY want to read something.

I make my own content if I want to engage with that media and I avoid the fandom. Its... I wont say its easy because it really sucks actually, but the world cannot and should not cater to me in that way. Its a competing access need and unreasonable to ask.

Its reasonable to ask a friend to warn/not deliberately show me that character- not NOT reasonable to ask a rando to do that.

Id even try to desensitize the trigger if I was in a good place for doing it but I am the wrong kind of insane to be doing that any time soon lol. Trauma work lays you right out.

To people wondering how anyone could be so fragile as to need something like that tagged; PTSD and other mental illnesses that cause serious triggers often latch onto innocuous things. Do you think I want to have such a 'cringe' trigger that causes me to [redacted] at best and have a dissociative panic attack-flashback combo AND [redacted] at worse? No its dumb as hell and I hate that there is very little to do to suppress it. Does that make the trigger go away? Also no. Its not like this is just me not liking or being uncomfortable with the character, this is an involuntary serious-hazard-to-health negative reaction I shant detail that sucks ass.

Yes us crazies do deserve to participate in fandom spaces too, we arent too broken to be barred from playing with everyone else- we just have to understand where the reasonable line is on accommodations for tagging, understand that competing access needs are a thing, and do the rest of the work ourselves.

Its not perfect but its the most good for the most people.

Id invite anyone who has a character/ship/etc trigger to seriously just blacklist the media and do what I do or even be more strict about it. You will feel so much better and more stable im not kidding. It sucks to lose a beloved fandom but you will feel so much better.

For everyone else- dont feel you need to tag every last mention on something. If you really want to be trigger friendly for some reason, you can put in the chapter notes all the minor mentions of stuff or w/e. Please Do Not put it in the proper tags.

YES!!!! i used to be insane about them and i think there are posts somewhere on my blog under the /belladora tag. to be they’re friends with benefits. they meet at regulus’ bday party and he invites his estranged cousin he hasnt seen for years because she finally left her family. shes full of repressed anger, doesn’t know how to act around people, nearly bites everyones heads off, scary and looks like she hasn’t slept in 2 years. in my mind she also looks older than she actually is. i picture her being 9 or 10 years older than regulus and his friends. anyway. panda takes one look at this socially inept murderuos woman and she’s immediately gone for her. she wants to be her friend. wants to study bella under a microscope. wants to keep her in a lab. she’s not scared off by her foul tongue in the least. pandora is younger, but still more experienced because shes a casual serial dater in my mind. bellas only experience is the man she was forced to be engaged to and they hadn’t even kissed. they’re both bad with social cues, neither of them knows where the line between friendship and ’something more’ lies, pandora is just being a good friend. showing bella the pleasures she hasn’t experienced. they grow codependant fast. regulus hates it. bella hangs off of pandora as if there’s a leash around her neck. pandora just wants to be around bella all the time. neither one of them knows what personal space means. they don’t consider it might be inappropriate sometimes how close they are. when pandora sits on bellas lap even tho there are 3 free seats available. neither of them thinks twice when pandora wants to try out a new spell or potion that will allow them to read each others minds. bella would be conjoined to pandora if she could. she hates evan simply for being pandoras twin. pandora asks bella to move in after theyve slept together twice

|| A year and a half after the events of SwSh, a 17 year old Hop decides to study abroad in Kalos; with a recommendation from Professor Sycamore himself.

But; Not only is Hop journeying to Kalos to further his academics on becoming a future pokemon professor, but he is also the sole respondent of trading information about Dynamax and Infinite energy. Things that could change both; maybe eventually all region's futures.

However, there is another reason he chose Kalos over the other regions; one he hadn't told to anyone, not even his best friend. A year and half prior; Hop was granted the honor of capturing one of the regions legendary pokemon; Zacian.

Hop doesn't understand why he got that honor, because to him he hadn't done anything worthwhile. I mean sure; he managed to calm the wild beast when she was stricken with dynamax energy, but he's still not sure how he even managed to do that. What he does know is that ever since the night after capture; he's felt... alone? He wasn't sure what he felt. Yes he could just talk to his friend; but he doubt they would have more information than he had; having only caught the brother legendary within the same hour.

So; what would any teenager do when feeling alone. Go straight to the internet! And as he was boarding the ship to the neighbouring region he was glad he did. For he might not have gotten in contact with not only others who seemed to also manage to capture other legendaries. Hop also managed to get in contact with one of Professor Sycamore's former students, and she promised to give Hop any awnsers he needed.

Hop was setting off on an opportunity of a life time. To active awnsers not only for himself. But maybe for the Galar region as a whole. He was sure this trip abroad would fly by due to him having a lax but exciting year ahead of him.

An easy in & out trip; (and as he reassured he family and friends many times) He would be back home safe and secure!

i originally played the game in 2013-ish when i was a little baby and picked it up again in 2021 (on a new account sadly </3)! i havent been playing consistently over the last 2 years but im fixated on it again atm so i figured itd be nice to have a little place dedicated to it :)

ive played through the basegame story and lw1 and ive started hot (although i wont be continuing until i can play lw2), however im aware of a few major spoilers already so im safe in that regard. spoilers will be tagged as lw1 spoilers, hot spoilers, etc.

melantha greaves (she/it lesbian): melly is my commander! (human necromancer/harbinger: street rat/unknown parents/melandru) im still ironing out her backstory but she has a strong dislike of authority and only accepted her role as commander to ensure the safety of those she holds dear. she learned early in her life that the best way to protect yourself is to appear bigger than you are so she tends to default to intimidation to get her way (ferocity win!) through her love of melandru shes come to accept the link between life and death and always makes sure to appreciate the little things in her day-to-day. she has a deep love for nature and animals as well :) stick her in a big field and she'll calm right down <3

Am just curious.. you seem to like a lot of Wei Ying and others. Each to their own, but I wondered if you didn't like Lan Zhan or Wangxian as a couple or something?

ok so there's two issues with me writing wangxian:

1- I have read so many wangxian fics its insane and that means after reading every five or so fics, I'd come up with a new wangxian fic idea and i'd get scenes and perfect dialogue snippets in my head and they will make me salivate over the very brilliant fic I am planning. And then I get lost in planning an the fic stops being a oneshot and becomes a very fucking longfic instead. So i either start collecting bits and pieces of the fic in a seperate doc until I can completely write the fic before i post. Which is hard. WIPs are hard, I get carried away and then I hit a writer's block for a particular fic and its over.

The reason why I dont post multichapters? Because for the last three fandoms I left, I had big dreams and expectations of my very brilliant multichapter fics and my fandom shifts are so abrupt I have no time to finish a fic i've been working on for months and they end up being abandoned because if i end up in a new fandom, I cant go back and write the characters from my previous fandoms the way i wished to. I can no longer do them justice or put my heart and soul in them and my perfectionist ass thinks thats unfair to my readers. So I stop posting. So now I wont ever post a multichapter until its fully written because its better for people to not know what they're missing out on instead of see an abandoned fic and know EXACTLY what all they are missing out on. I've been hurt like this in my first fandom and istg it was bad. It was a slowburn, angsty 100k worded fic and the main pairing hadnt even kissed yet. the MMC was lusting after another chara while the FMC was catching feelings and the fic just...stopped there, with MMC imagining fucking someone else. I cant tell you how badly my mind refused to do anything but hope and wait for that fic to update and it never did. I was in the fandom for a year before I got into a new thing and ig the pain of that never left?

2- Even if I deprive wangxian-ers of a uniquely plotted new fic, they wont miss out much. There's well over a thousand wangxian fics in various settings, using various tropes. But for rarepairs? There's barely enough full-fledged fics or oneshots. A lot of fics tagged with a rarepair have that as a past ship or one sided thing OR a drabble collection which is cool but not what I am looking for if I go in the tag. So I do this for myself mostly, for rarepair readers, there's not many I cant disappoint by writing oneshots, they're just so happy with anything. I'd know, I am one of them.

Bonus reason: most of my wangxian ideas come to me when I CANT write. like 5 minutes before i pass out into a dead sleep or during an exam or when I am in class or basically any time I cant write and by the time I can, I've lost the drive I had and put it in the back burner for 'fics i may write someday'.

I hope that answered your question. I knew this was coming lol so I answered in as much detail as I could. I do hope to write wangxian fics, actually i am surprised my first fic wasnt a wangxian one tbh because i've been planning several of those but oh well.
