So my vague thoughts about the Mandalorian mission landed on: what if instead of Qui Gon and Obi Wan someone went undercover among the New Mandalorians? But why would the Jedi Council do that instead? Oh…what if Jaster survived Korda 6 – then it’s not a simpler choice between terrorist group or other. And wOuLd’Nt It Be FuNnY if Jaster had a terrible crush on a ‘New Mandalorian’ bodyguard 😉

I have long had the headcanon that Mace is a night owl, not an morning lark. Jedi Council meetings Do Not support this.

Mace nursed his third cup of caff as dawn’s rays crept into the Council chambers specifically to lay siege upon his eyeballs. Whichever old Jedi said dawn was wiser than dusk ought’ve kept that thought to themselves. Truly, he loved being a Jedi – except this part. Dawn was too sleep-addled to be wise. He had, upon being ‘promoted’ to the Council, advocated for crack of noon meetings instead.

Which had failed seven to five. Yoda and Dooku were traitors.

“Petitioned for Republic aid, Mandalore has,” Yoda said. Just as Mace took a sip, the old troll. Used to dramatic announcements while drinking, Mace didn’t inhale his caff. Shaak Ti, their newest member, had yet to manage their grandmaster’s particular proclivity and choked on her tea. As well she should. The words ‘Mandalore’ and ‘Petition for Republic aid’ had never, in all the galaxy’s history, been in the same sentence unless another planet or people and the word ‘against’ were involved. Tera Sinube and Jocasta Nu cleared out their ears, certain they hadn’t heard correctly. To counter the disbelief that reverberated like an opera singer‘s, Yoda projected the petition for all Council members to see.

Which, yes, that was Mandalore. The planet name. On a petition for Jedi assistance. Mace had fallen asleep in a Council Meeting again. “Somewhere the Sith Hells are building an ice-skating rink,” Oppo remarked.

One of those weird shared dreams.

Tera Sinube snickered, then frowned. “Duke Kryze?” the old Crechemaster tapped his cane in thought. “I was unaware Mandalore has united under a single leader.”

“It certainly hasn’t,” Jocasta Nu straightened, a lecture at the ready. Mace would dream of many things but not one of Jocasta’s lectures. “A terrorist leader claims to be the ruler as well.” The worst ones always did. “By way of the Darksaber,” she added with an edge. Few were the successful robberies of the archives. Mace pitied the terrorist Mandalore-claimer. “And,” her voice dripped with disgust. “Jaster Mereel.”

Mace had no idea what Jaster Mereel had done to earn greater ire than a thief of an archive artifact but Dooku, closer to her, was up on the latest gossip. “Pestering you with more requests?” he smirked.

“Three leaders at least then, yet only one asks,” Yoda commented.

And there lay the complication. “Do we have the right to interfere then?” Shaak Ti asked the needed question. “Mandalore has not joined the Republic nor agreed to its laws and if we become the sort of people who burst into everyone’s home to lay down our chosen law – where will we stop.”

“As a student of history, we wouldn’t,” Jocasta said.

“Contentious, Mandalorians and Jedi have been,” Yoda spoke with hard-earned experience. “Harm not the unarmed, our code says. Accept the surrender of all, our oaths demand. Yet never unarmed the Mandalorians are. Surrender, dishonorable is seen.”

Add in intermittent conquests and bouts of Jedi-hunting and you had the seed of every Jedi-Mandalorian conflict in their shared history, Mace thought. “A shatterpoint looms over this mission, I sense that well enough. Should we break it? Mandalore’s fate will be decided on this mission, whether we take it or not. And if we do take it, who would we begin to send?” The experts of Mandalor were few and far between and many would be obviously unwise to send there.

“That sounds like a political travesty,” Dooku said, “Requiring a skilled negotiator. I would recommend my own Padawan. Qui Gon Jinn has made Master.”

“I disagree,” Yaddle spoke up at last.

A flicker of gobsmacked rippled through the Force before Dooku’s face and presence settled to forbidding impassivity. This did nothing to deter someone who had leapt straight from Padawan to Master centuries ago. “Shaak Ti is right, and Grandmaster Yoda speaks wisdom,” Yaddle paused, an unspoken ‘for once’ lingered teasingly. “Three rulers at least and no simple choice, previous Jedi-Mandalorian conflicts aside even the best diplomat would struggle not to add further conflict to such a mess. We can act but should not act openly.”

“You suggest the Shadows,” Councilor Piell stated the obvious. “One of your undercover agents.”

Yaddle gave Yarael the same look Mace often gave Depa for her teatime conversation topics but made no answer.

“Well, the poor soul will at least avoid Jaster’s obsession – if they keep their cover,” Jocasta said.

“There is one minor problem. About going undercover,” Tera Sinube brought up a picture. “Death Watch would be difficult but nothing your Shadows couldn’t handle. Jaster Mereel’s supercommandoes will be easy enough to infiltrate, however may I present a general indication of Sundari’s population.”

The picture was nothing that wouldn’t be snagged off a public site. A random section of the city, clearly during rush hour traffic with all the people milling about everywhere – people who were all human, all blond-haired, all pale-eyed.

“All of them?”

“Do we have any Jedi who fit?” Jocasta asked. Mace nodded in agreement. He dimly remembered one Padawan who would fit but that would be an even worse idea than Dooku’s.

Yaddle pursed her lips, “I may know of one.”

While the world is on fire, life throws you (rotten) lemons and you're still supposed to function like nothing happened. This is the first page of the fic, it's fluff. but I plan on having, smut, shadow play (thank you Loki Season 2 trailer), and mild hallucinations for the completed fic. (Snippet under the cut)

ok since u like jasper i wanted to have u rate all of his outfits in the movies :) (ill reblog and give u my ratings too if u want)

This took forever but it was sooo worth it plus it was really fun compiling the different pictures for this. For this I found (most) of the outfits from each movie. I may have missed one or two but it should be most of his outfits. Below are colleges for his outfits from each movie and of course I'll rate which one and explain which one's my fav. I definitely would love to hear which ones are your favs!!

Twilight

In the first movie I really liked his outfits especially his white coat in the first image. Honestly 10/10 for me, I love his causal outfits in this movie like the sweaters and the coats he wears.

First collage:

Top left: 10/10, love this outfit so much.

Top right: 7/10, it's okay not bad but not my favorite either.

Middle left: 10/10, I love the hoodie with the coat, it looks so comfy. I want a jacket like this now.

Middle right: 10/10, again I love the coat and messenger bag such a look a like.

Bottom left: 10/10, I love the sweater over the tie and shirt, it looks so good.

Note: I feel like I love these type of outfits because it reminds me of Spencer Reid and Barry Allen.

Bottom right: 7/10, maybe because of how his shirt is flipped upwards it just looks weird to me. Not my favorite outfit.

Top right: 8/10, I've always liked these kinds of shirts, I just love the way they feel and the look of it.

Top left: 9/10, I love the color and just how the shirt comes together. I haven't loved all the dress shirts but I do love this one.

Bottom: 8/10, I love this kind of jacket, makes me want my own!

New Moon

In the second movie, due to the plot he wasn't in it as much so there's not as many options or outfits of his in this movie. This is a 3/10 for me because I'm not a fan of the sweater and the dress shirt in the second and third image. But I LOVE his jacket and little tie in the first picture, definitely one of my favorite outfits of his.

First Collage

Top Right: 10/10, I love the tie paired wit the jacket, it looks so good. Also this was the only time his hair looked good in this movie.

Top Left: 5/10, I'm not vibing with the shirt and sweater, maybe because of the color but definitely one of the my least favorites.

Bottom: 3/10, I don't know why but I hate this shirt.

Eclipse

His outfits in this movie are chief kiss for me. Especially the training scene jacket, I don't know why but I love it so much. I also really like his dress shirt he wears in the second image. In all 9/10.

First Collage:

Top left: 8/10, honestly I love it whenever he wears a jacket, it always looks good.

Top right: 9/10, I really love color of the shirt but also how it fits, it comes together nicely which I love.

Middle left: 8/10, I LOVE the white sweater it looks comfortable and looks well with the tie which I just love.

Middle right: 7/10, the colors aren't my favorite but that's just me.

Bottom left: 7/10, I don't mind it but I prefer the suit he wears in breaking dawn better.

Bottom right: 10/10, the jacket looks SOOO good, I love it so much.

Second Collage:

Top left & right: Not sure how I feel about these, like legit I'm not sure how I should rate it.

Bottom left: 8/10, the black sweatshirt looks nice but I'm still partial when he wears it with the other jacket.

Bottom right: 7/10, this one isn't bad but not my favorite. I don't mind it though.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 & 2

In the last two movies I feel like the outfits are pretty good in some ways better than Eclipse but I'm still partial for twilight but what I really like about his outfits in these movies are his coats and how the dress shirts go well with one another. In the last few movies whenever he wore dress shirts at times it was either hit or miss but when he wore a jacket or something else over it, it looked way better in my opinion. Also his hair looked really good in this movie and in eclipse too. New Moon is the exception. 8.5/10.

First Collage:

Top left: 9/10, I love the dress shirt and his necklace. I feel like these looks in the last two movies still look similar to his other looks but offer something new or different which I like.

Top right: 9/10, I love the outfits during the wedding it all felt very fancy, he looked so handsome in the suit. It really worked well for him.

Middle left: 8/10, I loved the color and how it was pair with a jacket over it. In general though I think purple works well for Jasper.

Middle right: 10/10, his dress shirt looked so good in this scene, I really loved it. I don't know how else to describe how much I love it.

Bottom left: 8/10, same as the last one, the blue also really looks good.

Bottom right: 8/10, I love the jacket it looks nice but also with the necklace it also comes together in a little bow.

Second Collage:

Top left: 10/10, again the blue really suits Jasper and in general I like these specific dress shirts, I feel like they looks soooo good.

Top right: 10/10, again I really love this type of jacket and the shirt little cut looks interesting especially since it's a bit different compared to his other looks.

Bottom left: 9/10, for the millionth time I love the purple with the vest. It just looks so good to me. I love it! :)

Bottom right: 8/10, I don't love this one as much as the others but I still think it looks nice.

My top three of all time would be

The white coat in Twilight

The coat and tie in New Moon

⭐!!! for the director's cut ask game

Thank you @s-c-g-s-c-g 😊 Once more such trust my decision so…

I’ve recently returned to my published work ‘The Clone Fuckability Index’ which contains no actual on-screen fucking. One reviewer said it was the Ace-est thing they ever read. Which I take as a high compliment because I am very ace 😉

Anyway that fic’s first shitty rough draft was spawned years ago in the dawn ages of my Star Wars obsession. I’d read a couple of fics on the premises of ‘all clones attracted to Obi Wan’, who was at the time my one and shining blorbo so I gobbled those fics down like a kid with chocolate cake, wanted more and found myself with the harrowing prospect of having to Write My Own.

Which didn’t get too far beyond a single chapter of ‘Obi Wan shows up on Kamino and all the clones go ‘oh no, he’s hot!’ I didn’t really have anything more so I shoved the story into a document of shitty rough drafts that didn’t yet warrant being a WIP’.

But it was an idea I kept returning to, re-writing and occasionally adding more. As I grew deeper into Star Wars and added Cody, Fox, even Alpha-17 to my blorbos I fleshed out the clone PoV’s. As I got into Ferus I added the blurb about Ferus seeing all the clones and going ‘oh no, they’re ALL hot!’ because it was funny.

And then came upon the concept of Sithspawn clones. The concept ate my brain and spat out an actual reason for clones to collectively have a crush on not just Obi Wan but all Jedi (I had a lot of Jedi blorbos). Also the thought of the Sith foolishly disregarding beta testing and scientific procedures and therefore getting clones who want to fuck Jedi instead of kill Jedi was hilarious! This also led to, dare I say it, a plot for the Clones would need to figure out why they’re all hot for Jedi this can’t be normal right?

Thus I came to the ridiculous yet reasonable conclusion that the clones figure out Palpatine is a Sith because he’s just that unfuckable. It makes sense in story (even if it didn’t I’d have to add it in). The chapters finally flowed, a sub-plot of ‘wtf is gender’ developed to spark yet more joy.

A long and loving review had me coming back to the story and rereading it and realizing how bare it was of scenery details. So I’ve gone back and started filling in those details, fleshing out a few characters and anchoring people in place. I’m hoping to eventually post it again, this time with more detail but either way if I could have one contribution to the Star Wars fandom this would be it 😊

Mumen Rider frightens me.

I would be the Middle Management Bitch constantly writing up Mumen Writer for reckless behavior and safety violations. To be clear, I would also be spending much more time on Workplace Bullying. But oh my god, that guy hits too close to home.

In my Previous Life, I spent a lot of time having conversations somewhere along the lines of, "this is partly about workplace safety but more about how a back injury could jeopardize your personal well-being and career; also you're setting an expectation/example for other employees that could jeopardize their health; AND it's not safe for the people around you; AND it's indicative of your ability to follow instructions / show judgement which is critical for your role. I personally do not want to terminate your employment over this but to be clear, but I will have to, if this continues."

...I do feel bad about this, because Mumen Rider is such a dang cinnamon role. So I like to pretend that Gojo Satoru** puts on a disguise and becomes Mumen Rider whenever he wants to stop being the strongest and go touch grass. "He can use Infinity any time he wants," I whimper, crying, covering my face and watching the Sea King scene through my fingers. "Garou is actually severely out-classed in this fight, not Mumen," I insist, biting my lip over S2. "Because Garou could get Hollow Purple'd at any time......"

**they both have the same Japanese voice actor, and they are both named "Satoru." Ergo; these characters are actually the same person. I rest my case.
