favorite tumblr experience is seeing a user's posts pop up on other blogs/sites and saying "alright I'll bite, seems like a funnyman" and that blog being 2% funnyman and 98% scathing critiques of rampant but oft overlooked bigotry. like hmmm i wonder why people aren't lauding the majority of their content and just sift through to find the silly goofy takes....

#most of the times its anti-terf or critiques of racism in queer communities #or condemnation of widespread antisemitism #edit: ooh or anything having to do with “”scary“” mental illness or physical disability #everyone wants to joke about adhd (and now cute fun autism) but if you use AAC or are in a wheelchair? fu-fucking-getaboutit #have the stigmatized disorder-turned-buzzword of the month? good luck charlie #this post is especially about @cryptotheism #and @spacelazarwolf #everyone loves “wrestler wife” “no stay in this space with me”#but ive yet to see containment breeches on the ones calling out transandrophobia or racism within the community #wonder why...

A girl with raven and messy hair, quietly closed the door as to not anger her mother further. Sighing, her tired eyes look up to her computer. It was old but she doesn't care, she like this one better. When was the last time she logged into her trusted computer? She was so focused on studying, barely paying attention to her source of happiness. Am I really that neglectful? She thought.

I've been waiting years for you to log back in…

A voice called out causing the depressed girl in surprised, who was that?

The voice sounded like a hushed but echoed whisper and in a gentle tone, was she hallucinating it? She shook her head and went to her bed to rest, not minding to change her clothes to a comfortable pajamas.

The ceiling was flashed by a soft light of blue that comes from the screen, and who's screen it is? Well, none other than the protagonist himself. Teviallio B. Brihervtra.

Here he was, in his room. Dreaming about something he can not remember once woken up, but he remembers only a bit. The part where he sees a white and old computer on the table, it looked lonely just sitting there by itself. Sighing, he rubs his screen gently as if he was rubbing his eyelid. And so he stood up, excited and ready to meet up his crush best friend on a picnic they have planned together.

Last summer I was on a very expedited acid come up at a music festival and my entirely unaware mother thousands of miles away was at costco and texted me incredulous at how they already had halloween stuff out for sale in the summer but all I saw was a message preview of a giant 10 foot tall skeleton with glowing eyes and "can u believe it??"

being a student during peak pandemic was so fucking surreal like. "it's not an excuse to fall behind" I cannot stress enough to you how much A Worldwide Plague Upending Life As We Know It is literally one of The Top Three Reasons to fall behind
