How to take care of your Chanderi?
It is always important to take care of the clothes we buy and let us suppose we buy high-quality branded clothes from https://karunakhaitan.in such as chanderi, it is vital to take good measures.
Below are a few tips for you:
1. Wash Your Weaves With Care: One should restrain from washing their garments too often and too harshly. Therefore we advise drying your chanderi garment pieces in the shade, doing so also helps the color and smoothness to stay longer.
2. The Way You Store Says It All: The best option here is to store them in a cool, dry place folded in an absorbent fabric bag to allow circulation of air and avoid any pungent smell. Silica gel bags can also be used to avoid humidity and prevent fungal growth on your Chanderi pieces.
3. Ironing it out right: Light Steam iron is recommended in case of chanderi garments or you can also iron your garments inside out on the lowest heat setting to take away the creases.

Your videos are so awesome! Question about pole dancing:
I'm a trans man, and before I transitioned I did some aerial silks and trapeze at a school near where I lived. Then I transitioned, moved, and after a few years have wanted to get back into something similar. There are plenty of pole places around my house, but they're heavily oriented towards women. One's even marketed for ONLY women. I feel really weird about trying to attend classes as a man. Any advice?
OK, this is a tricky one. As this is anon, I need to post publicly, so here's some context for passers-by:
Pole dance is a heavily female-dominated activity, and because it's also frequently sexualised (either by design or by association), and requires fairly revealing clothing, many women feel less comfortable in classes with men. Some studios might then attempt to foster a safer environment by excluding men altogether (and even if they don't, the vast majority of students are usually female anyway, so pictures on the website, etc rarely feature men even if there's no actual policy).
And I GET all that. But also, I feel like it's ok for men to want to do pole too. I was literally drawn to pole in the first place BECAUSE it defied traditional gender expectations. So here's my advice, to you and any other men who might want to start:
1) Ask. Drop the studio an email, see if they take male students. The way they respond will tell you a lot about whether this will be a safe/welcoming space for you. It might feel weird and scary, but they don't know you yet, and if their answer is off-putting, they never have to!
2) Be prepared to be in a minority. Even if the studio is welcoming, you are unlikely to be in a class with more than 1 or 2 other men (at most!) and reasonably likely to be the only one. You may find different moves easy/hard, and you may find it takes a little longer for other students to relax/open up around you. This can be hard for some men who aren't used to that dynamic, but it /is/ a predominantly feminine space, so it's worth being thoughtful in how you approach things.
I'm not saying this to put you or anyone else off! IME most studios are happy to take male students, and most students are reasonably open and welcoming, and once you get settled, you can have a lot of fun and make lots of friends. As long as you check in and make an effort, I absolutely recommend giving it a go!
#pole dance#advice#this is based on personal experience and some trial and error#it's not to be taken as some kind of difinitive rule set or anything

embarrassingly long post incoming but i have a quastion. can anyone who knows stuff about tailoring/clothing design speak on gerard’s suit jackets from the last leg of the mcr tour because i know in an interview marina toybina said she was really particular about those outfits and i feel like there is some cool & kind of unusual work there but i am So uneducated.
like they obvs have lots of waist suppression for thee lovely hourglass silhouette but another thing i noticed is that i feel like both men’s & women’s suit jackets are meant to lay as flat as possible across the chest as a sign of a Good Fit and these tend to not do that. they have the top half of what i saw one random website call “the dreaded X” creases that form around the button when the fit is too tight, but they don’t actually seem to be too tight because the lapels don’t pull way to the sides with arm movement like you’d see for even a good fit (i think…?)
it looks like the button has a kind of medium to low position with the waist taken in far enough that it has to ride up higher than usual to close (or at least rides up super easily, idk, this is my Guess), creating an excess of fabric around the lapels that either folds over or sticks out forwards
and it does this without deforming the shoulders/collar & also while keeping the lower front panels nice and flat—there’s extra fabric in the one area, but everywhere else the structure of the jacket is maintained. which is alllll to say this seems to me like a kind of subtle, “natural” way to add volume to a flat chest without using methods that would be read as drag or otherwise costume-y within the context of a stage performance, like padded undergarments or smth like that.
soo i am wondering if any of you think this is at all a plausible explanation for how the jackets are designed to fit and the illusion they’re meant to create or if it’s probably unintentional slash just a side effect of the jackets being manipulated by arm movements etc.. or if it is in fact possible but being achieved a different way, like with the darts. or if i’m just pointing out the obvious ?! maybe this is just how women’s suit jackets fit & move?
either way… wow what lovely work thank you marina toybina for Everything
(first two pics are by justinmaphoto and then gavin lloyd(?), last pic is by david watson, the others i’m not sure abt im so so sorry they’re from the dregs of my camera roll)
#type of stuff i b thinking about at lunchtime#idk i just want to know more abt her work on these it's all very cool to me

do u know why and when marc stopped using this ant design
and started using this one?
the second one is good but the first one is iconic in some sense
Hi!!! Thanks for the ask! Agreed. the first one is soooo cute.
So i don't have an exact answer for either of those questions (so scholars weigh in) but i will share what i do know on the topic.
So! In the context of when Marc stopped using the cartoon ant design, he actually didn't!
He just doesn't use it as much. Not sure why. If i had to hazard a guess, I think maybe he thinks it's a little young or cute for him. This is based on the fact that the march he did decide to use it for is mainly for kids or for women (I don't subscribe to clothing having a gender, but that's what it's marketed under). Link to his website
And as for when Marc first started using the ant outline design, I don't know exactly, but I do know that for most of 2012 he switched between his boring ass striped one and the classic blue and red ant one (and I don't remember an ant helmet before that, but I could be totally wrong). Neither of which had the cartoon ant on them I don't think. BUT when he won the championship in 2012 I remember he had a gold ant helmet with the cartoon ant. Let me find a pic.
I cropped it so you can kinda see. (It's blurry but you get the idea) X X
and in 2012 he also had the iconic white ant test livery. Y'all know the one. Where he had the cartoon on his leathers and the ant on his helmet. You will be missed, white ant Marc. X
So he did, and still does, use both design. I think he just grew to prefer the outline one more.
Oh! And as for when he started using the outline one more for merch, also don't know (i am not a scholar rip) but I do know that when I was making my tag headers, his cap had the outline ant on it and that was 2015. (idk why I remember that) X
Anyway! did i answer your question? absolutely not. But here are some Marc pictures. Enjoy!
#marc identifying with an ant is something that can be so personal actually#asks from my mutuals ✨✨#marc marquez#not museum tag#motogp#shout out to my drafts for these pics#asks#rosquez#apparently???

How to Pick an Outfit for a Semi-Formal Event
Introduction
Semi-formal attire is a dress code usually needed at events like holiday parties, weddings, and some restaurants. Semi formal dresses are like business casual clothes and are less formal than party clothes.
Tips On How To Wear Semi-Formal?
Dress For A Semi-Formal Wedding:
Wedding cards tell people what to wear. At both daytime and evening weddings, guests often wear dressy-casual clothes. The dress for a semi-formal wedding is more formal. When in doubt, always dress too much. Summer and beach weddings often have a semi-formal dress code because knee-length gowns and sundresses are more comfy.
Masculine Semi-Formal Attire:
Leave your suit and cummerbund at home when going to a semi-formal event. A semi-formal outfit includes dress shoes, dark socks, dress pants and a button-down shirt. Usually, dark clothes are good. With a suit, you don't have to wear a tie or collar. Wear a windbreaker or sports coat to events during the day and a suit jacket at night. Put on a watch instead of a pocket square and buttons. T-shirts, polo shirts, khakis, and sports shoes should be avoided.
Feminine Semi-Formal Attire:
Feminine semi formal dresses include midi, maxi, wrap, cocktail, pantsuits, and jumpsuits. Dresses can come down to the knee. Don't wear floor-length or ball dresses to a wedding with a black tie. Depending on where you are going, you should wear boots, sandals, flats, or dress shoes to a semi-formal event. Wear a few trinkets and pieces of jewellery.
Conclusion:
We talked about the semi formal dresses above. It can be hard to pull off an almost-formal look. You can look great anywhere in a semi-formal outfit with the right tips and ideas.

𝐄𝐗! 𝐀𝐔 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝟏) ::: 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐀
GENSHIN IMPACT MASTERLIST.
MINORS do NOT interact. Warning(s): implied cheating, MANIPULATIVE BEHAVIOR, abuse of power, GASLIGHTING, alcohol consumption, TOXIC RELATIONSHIP (pls don't settle with someone like this ver of childe in real life!!!!!!), childe sabotaging everything to keep y/n with him, mention of the word "suicide" but no actions, just a description for y/n's frustration.
You know your friends have been talking to you about Ajax for a long time – about how he's a bad man, "he's the exact guy people talk about on Tiktok, baby! the one you should stay away from. Sure, he buys you expensive bags, takes you to nice places, free vacations and five-star hotels, even paying for your college, but that's his way of manipulating you!"
At first, you shrug them off, thinking your girls are just worried, and a little jealous because you're dating THE Ajax.
The crazy, stupid rich Ajax, who is so up there that the casual question he asks some stranger is "Do you ski?" before proceeding to talk about his favorite ski holiday spot and how his family has an estate there in case anyone ever thought about going (and he's gonna give the key for free???).
Around four most expensive and tallest buildings in this city belonged to him, the rest either belonged to his family or one of their assets to run their money with.
He definitely has that laugh that is only limited to the filthy rich.
Ajax is the MOST eligible bachelor of all time, honestly. He has good control over whatever business his family has owned for generations, and he looks good doing it.
Not to mention, he is always well-dressed, quiet-luxury from head to toe. Has a row of cars worth a country, but he's not rubbing it in anyone's face. Humble, down-to-earth guy.
You met him at a socialite party that you and your girls snuck into. Good god, what a contrast—your "nightclub" dress (exactly what you typed on the website) and a sea of people clad in clothes from designer brands whose names you can't even pronounce.
You remember about four or five women scanning you up and down before whispering to their friends "who let these girls in?!?!"
But, then again, perhaps that's what caught Ajax's attention on you.
And while your first meeting and how you ended up dating him is a story for another time, this one isn't.
Despite his "perfection" (money and crazy handsome face), you and Ajax were nominated as the most INSUFFERABLE couple by your friends. On-and-off relationships; one day in the honeymoon phase, the next like adults in crisis threatening to break up.
And the reasons? Because Ajax and his lack of boundaries when it comes to other women always finds a way to make you jealous.
There were many times, but this one—this one was the final.
Your sanity is gradually vanishing, in danger of running out completely. Every second, your breath grows scorching hot—the flames of insanity inching closer. The searing sensation that conquers your chest stands in contrast to your cold stare as your eyes meet those of the ginger-haired man standing in front of you. As if blind, he continues to stand with his lips curled into a stupid smile (or his pretty face is compensation for having little to no empathy).
Ajax, your boyfriend, looks at you mockingly, and you're still unhappy because you saw him being so touchy with an employee. Your gaze flits across his ring-studded digits—the exact same fucking fingers that caressed the dumb bitch's hips.
You're in love, not dumb; at least, not anymore. Ajax can never stand it when a man stands too close to you, always ending with him approaching the poor guy with a smile that reflects anything but friendly—the kind you would see on the cover of a true crime documentary. He should have known you wouldn't like it when you walked into his office and saw the woman hanging to him like a monkey – lips curving shyly, and Ajax doing nothing but smiling back at her as if he was enjoying it (or maybe he DID).
"I told you; she almost fell and I caught her. No need to be so jealous, doll.”
There it is. When you interpret his words as more of a mockery than an explanation (and if it were, it was a very much half-assed one), you know you're not hallucinating.
"Stop trying to gaslight me. I'm not fucking blind, Ajax! You'd fuck her right there if I hadn't walked in!" To hell with self-control; it’s impossible to maintain when another chuckle escapes him. "Oh, you think this is funny?”
Ajax shook his head, still unapologetic. "Sorry, you look adorable."
The audacity of this man????????
Right now, you're unsure of whether to be furious, sad, or strike a knife at his stunning neck. That's THE problem. Ajax takes joy in your suffering—his lips stretch and laughter sprouts in a voice no better than fingernails against a wall. One of these days, you're going to blame yourself; perhaps the reason he acts this way is that you often show the wounds he inflicted as if it's a trophy rather than a disgrace. It is a constant reminder of the power he has over you to watch you burn with jealousy.
But not anymore cause as you shout: “Fuck you, Ajax! We’re done!”
The smile on his handsome face disappeared. A taste of his own medicine. About fucking time.
You walked towards your shared bedroom, He was yelling your name in desperation, but you ignored him. The door swings open. You snatched up a suitcase in a flash and packed it with his stuff. You won't be leaving; Ajax will. He should, at a minimum, vacate the residence and vow to never interact with you again.
“Babe!”
Ajax shouted when you placed his final item of clothing into the luggage. That burgundy shirt feels like fire on your skin. You zipped the luggage before dragging it out of the room. It hit the marble floor with a loud "thud!" sound.
“Babe! You can't be serious!”
“Oh, I’m dead serious.” Your eyes glared at him, both threatening and challenging. "Get your ass out and leave the fuck here!" was yelled.
Before Ajax could reach you, you quickly closed the bedroom door and locked it. He’s banging on it, and you wouldn't mind if he continued doing that all night though. It will be the best-case scenario if Ajax leaves the apartment, swollen on both hands.
Honestly, you thought it would all end there.
Because there's no way Ajax will risk his ego and continue to beg as if he would be homeless if you kicked him out, when he has four other condos in the city that he can stay in before going somewhere looking for new prey, right?
Wrong.
Imagine the shock on your face when you wake up and come out of your room, to find Ex bf! Ajax standing in the kitchen.
And him opening his mouth saying, “Morning, princess. Feeling better now?”
The devil himself was in his usual apron, a white buttoned shirt underneath, sleeves rolled up. He presents a sickening smile that instantly spurs your frustration levels to the absolute apex of your cranium, fury growing at an alarmingly fast pace.
Unfortunately, he lacks the concern to be worried about the expression on your face. His veiny hands flip the pancakes deftly—his morning routine—he remembers you like your pancakes perfectly done, with butter, and lots of syrup.
Your brain is debating whether to commit suicide or homicide right now.

hi! I’m creating a character design and I have some questions about Ancient Greek attire (preferably around 650-550 B.C.E and with pictures)
what differences are there between the clothing and hair of unmarried and married women? I’ve heard that married women had their hair in nets while unmarried women had it loose, but also the opposite.
Were there any hair styles that were more commonly worn by unmarried women?
And what type of clothing did unmarried women wear in comparison to married women? Is there any difference?
And vice-versa, what styles of hair or dress did married women typically wear? Was there anything that changed to symbolise a woman’s marriage status?
Was there anything in mythology that was used to symbolise a deity’s or character’s marriage status?
I’ve looked at a ton of websites and have struggled a lot, I’m not too afraid of making my design slightly inaccurate but I’d like to stay as close to reality as possible. Any help would be really helpful and appreciated <3
Hello! Women in the archaic period wore their hair long and loose or in multiple braids. Towards late Archaic period, closer to classical times, updos like buns and cignons (with nets or not) became more popular, particularly for married women. The married women were the ones who usually had their hair up, not the young girls. Some exquisite hairstyles you see sometimes on the internet... it's not that they are wrong but they were prominent in the hellenistic and the roman period and would be encountered in rich women usually. Archaic and Classical fashions were more minimal. If you want to fancy up your archaic character's hairdo and face give her something like a beautiful coronet or something like a headband and large intricate earrings and necklaces (from all metals, beads and most semi-precious stones).
Greeks of the Archaic period took pride in their long, healthy flowing hair, to which they gave a glow by applying oils, so it would be nice to play with that in your art.
Clothing did not differ all that much between married and unmarried women, except a married woman would dress a little more modest, she was more likely to have an epiblema (shawl) above the peplos (apart from the himation) and she was more likely to cover herself with a kalyptra (veil) in the presence of men outside the family. After all, unmarried women had to show off a little more skin in order to... get married.
Helen of Sparta covering her head in the presence of men.
That's not to say an unmarried girl would not ever wear shawls and veils or that the world would turn upside down if a married woman was seen without those but their rules of propriety were definitely stricter for married women.
The richer your character is, the more liberal you can get with the jewellery, the embroidery on the clothes, the colourfulness and the finery of the linen used (as opposed to the cheap plain wool).
Wedding procession, 550 BC. Notice how all women have long hair and headbands.
I don't know much about marriage symbols, in mythology or not. I know apples were symbols of romantic interest and a marriage proposal. Pomegranates were given to newly married women as symbols of good luck and fertility.
Bonus art from Classical period but it was so cute:

Three simple words
Everything started in an ordinary way. You woke up late on a Saturday. Without any complications you got ready for the day. Dressed in leisure clothes you sat in front of your computer. Lazily you browsed through nonsensical sites.
But then a simple post caught your focus. You were intrigued, but couldn't pinpoint the reason. It showed an ordinary looking button on it. Round and pink. It said "Submit" on its surface. Nothing else.
Well a simple catchy tune played over the speakers. A jingle caught inside your mind. The tune repeated itself over and over again as you stared at the button.
There was a link to another site, an URL you could copy into your browser. And you did that, just as a joke.
The site was very simplistic in design. It was nothing but a white page and on its center there was the pink button. The same round, pink and teasing button that was on the other page. The word "Submit" glittered gently in your eyes.
Another song started. Perfectly synchronized with the first. They played together, repeating themselves in your mind. Their tunes slowly started to merge in your head, until it felt like they had always been one. One with you. Like a second heartbeat. A rhythm to your life. You wanted to push the button.
Your mouse hovered on top of it, but you hesitated. It would have been a stupid move, to click on an unknown button on an unknown website. You could have caught some virus, or downloaded a trojan. It was dangerous.
So you opened the hidden link instead. Again the pink well-rounded button greeted you. "Submit" echoed through your vision. Another track added to the canon. Your mind thumped with their combined beat, and you could feel the heat of their music.
Your hand hovered on top of the button, but you stopped yourself again. No, it was a bad move. It could be dangerous. Your hand trembled. Your finger twitched. You licked your lips in anticipation.
Click. You pressed down the button. A moan thrummed through your throat. Glazed you watched as the image on your screen unraveled. It swayed like the surface of water, and changed. It shifted into a womanly form.
She had a very beautiful smile. Her eyes pierced right through your mind, her lips left a moist mark on your heart, and her hair was like a silk caress on your face. She smiled and giggled. You couldn't do anything but smile with her. You smiled at the screen. It was the only right way to act.
Her clothes were tight and her body perfect. A dark, tight leather outfit that left nothing to imagination. And yet you craved for more. You craved to know more about this woman on your screen.
"Follow," she said and turned around. You could see her body, her beautiful, tight ass. You could smell the sweet fragrance of her body, of the perfume on her skin. She was there for you. And you wanted her.
The woman started walking. Her hips swayed from side to side. Your eyes moved in a similar fashion. Back and forth. Back and forth. Like a metronome. Like the tunes that still played in your mind. They followed the rhythm of her movement. A beat of their own.
She strode deeper into the void. Slowly the white gave way to pink. Hue for hue it changed. You knew this shade. It was the same as the button's. And as the conclusion reached your mind — there it was. Pink. Curvaceous. One simple word inscribed. "Submit." And you pushed it again.
The image rippled with waves. Until two identical women stood in front of a white void. You knew them. They both were her.
"Follow." They spoke with a unified voice that filled your mind to its limits. They turned around. Hips rocked from side to side with every step. In unison they swayed. With your eyes, with your body you followed their motion. Back and forth. Left to right. The hypnotic melody still playing in your head.
Again the white gave way for pink. And again you clicked "Submit." Now three irresistible women moved in perfect rhythm. Three identical voices called to "Follow."
You followed, mesmerized. Your mind thumped with their beats. You hummed their songs and you swayed your body in tune with them. It was a perfect dance, a symphony. You followed. Deeper and deeper into the void.
But as the white turned into pink — another word appeared. "Obey."
Your fingers trembled. Your heart pounded against your ribcage. It felt as if they were one. Like the three women on your screen.
They turned to you. Their smiles sent a shiver through your spine. Your mind melted into an endless ocean. You were swimming in their gazes, bathing under their empty eyes.
Click. A page opened. You read its instructions.
A week later you woke up early and eager. Like every Saturday. With meticulous precision you got ready for the day. Your mirror showed a delightful reflection. A woman so familiar. Tight leather hugged your curves.
Poised you balanced on towering heels. Each step accompanied by a roll of hips. The rhythm engraved in your mind. And three simple words left your plump glossy lips: "Submit. Follow. Obey."

Do you perchance know about where to find Lottie’s Doomcoming dress? Or at least a close replica? I’m eager to find it! Thank you :]
I have not been able to find the actual dress Lottie wears during Doomcoming but here is what I know:
Lottie’s dress has a button up top, a tie waist, and relatively sheer sleeves. The skirt has a white lining under it (though I don’t think you can see it in any of these pictures) and is tiered. The fabric appears to have a a dot texture along with the floral print. I’m also 99.9% sure it is NOT a vintage dress (which I’ve seen a lot of people speculate) because Costume Designer Marie Schley has talked about how they needed multiples of the dresses in order to dirty them up over the course of the episode (I can’t recall off the top of my head which podcast she says this in though). It makes the most sense to me that in order to have multiples of an item of clothing the costume department would just buy a modern clothing item that looks vintage (as trends circle back around every few years and 90s fashion is pretty popular right now).
While I haven’t been able to find the actual dress Lottie wears (I’m still looking), I’ve featured below some kind of close matches that have elements similar to Lottie’s dress.
“Mikarose Women's The Eden Antique Cream Ditsy Floral Midi Dress” from Amazon. The main difference between this dress and Lottie’s actual dress is the fact that it isn’t a button up, it doesn’t have a tie waist, and it has three tiers instead of 2.
“The Dawn Dress” from Christy Dawn. The main difference is that it doesn’t have tiers and is not a button up. It does have a tie waist.
“Ruffle Button Down Tiered Maxi Dress” by Sophie & Hailee. It has too many tiers and the neckline has ruffles that Lottie’s doesn’t.
“Mary Ditsy Print Dress” by Rachel & Roxie. It features a similar sheer element on the sleeves but has too many ruffles, an incorrect neckline, and lace up back. (I have seen this dress listed on a different site “She She Boutique” but I think it might originate on the site I listed.)
I have not looked into the legitimacy of any of the websites or item listings so you might want to do further research before you make a purchase.
If anyone else has any leads on this dress be sure to reach out!
