WATCH ME AS I COME TO GRIEF
Encounter many problems in life
Dealing with a constant strife
Confidence nowhere to be found
Ability run into the ground
My future looks extremely bleak
An immediate exit I seek
Ready to take my chances with fate
Carve my name in a block of slate
Razor blades are everywhere
They'll help me through my despair
Horizontal slashes-the wrist
Bleed, purge, my final bliss
My equilibrium is way off balance
I should be placed under surveillance
As I add to these holes in the walls
Life's got me by the balls
Watch me as I come to grief
Writhing in my final release
Agony like you've never known
From this clump of dust I'm thrown
Betrayal!!!
Betrayal!!!
Deceived me
I'll screw you all in the end

Women don't shave because men want them to look like children, they shave because razor companies wanted to make more money and spent decades framing body hair as unhygienic and shaving as luxurious and mature, something that women with the time to spend doing some pointless cosmetic thing and the money to spend on razors and shaving creams and all their other products do because they're rich and beautiful and important.
That's it. It's capitalist bullshit dependant on misogyny and on creating new misogynistic beauty standards and kids have absolutely nothing to do with it.

I think Slay the Princess is so popular partially because the *gets stabbed* "I'm in love" reaction is both intentional on the part of the developers and then they completely follow through on it.

“Le pire dans l'enfer, ce n'est pas les flammes, c'est le désespoir
Et je pense que c'est la partie de l'enfer
Qu'une personne en dépression goûte vraiment
Le désespoir, le terrible désespoir qui survient”

really not loving this trend lately of acting like shaving makes you a disgrace to the whole fucking queer community
like we really went from "not shaving is totally fine and good, body hair is completely natural & not gross" (correct) to "shaving is disgusting and unnatural, why would you do that to you body" (hmmm sounds kinda familiar) & even "its literally impossible to have dysphoria or sensory issues due to body hair/want to shave for any reason other than to appeal to patriarchal beauty standards & anyone who says they do is lying" (real, actual things i have seen people say, what in the god damn)
you can shave your face you can shave your head but as soon as its below the neck suddenly shaving is some sort of unforgivable crime. god forbid someone doesnt like the way it feels when their clothes rub against every little fucking hair. god forbid they dont like how it holds in sweat. god forbid they dont like how it holds in heat. god forbid they dont fucking like how it looks on them.
like. is the word "choice" not in peoples fucking vocabulary or something

Living as a trans man, I can personally confirm that, truthfully, we transition for the betterment of our well-being. "Escaping misogyny" hasn't been a goal of mine because (at least personally) I'm still persecuted because I am a trans man. Legally, trans people are not at an advantage. Socially, trans people are not at an advantage. At least currently, trans people are encouraged (or forced) away from being trans, because transphobia is rampant. At the very least, what people can do is rely on us to narrarate our experiences, not to assume what our motives are. Nine times out of ten, you will be wrong
