Even accounting for how erratic their behavior can be normally, the Doctor gets extra bonkers after regenerating. ¡¡Reblog and explain your pick in the tags!!

Y’all Woman of the Hour was so good! It is absolutely chilling and perfectly captures how women constantly have to be monitoring and adapting to men and their moods.
The question of “What are girls for?” felt so poignant because to so many men we are things, trophies, prizes, roles like wife or mother but never just people. We deserve to exist for ourselves.

My Best of 2024: Director
My Best of 2024 is a series of annual lists in which I pick the best of the best from 2024, all leading up to my official picks for My Top 10 Films of 2024.
Yeah, the order here is very soft, because I had a lot of trouble connecting with most of 2024's output. Yeah, I still had my favorites. And sure, all of these picks are very much deserving of any and all praise I lay on them. When it comes to direction, it's generally one or two very specific aspects that make a director's choices stand out, for me...
It was Robert Eggers' atmosphere, soaking each frame with palpable dread and raw sexuality. It was Edward Berger's building of tension through impeccable blocking. It was Jeff Nichols' documentarian approach to structure. It was Coralie Fargeat's audacious line-crossing and bold dismissal of any subtlety whatsoever. It was Sean Baker's respect for his characters and the world they inhabit. It was James Mangold's complete understanding of Dylan's musical inspiration and impact. It was Denis Villeneuve's scale and visual grandeur. It was Jason Reitman's logistics and movement. It was Anna Kendrick's confident structural choices and assured thematic vision in a debut effort. And it was Luca Guadagnino's pounding heartbeat and unrestrained sexual tension.
Here they are…
My Top 10 Directors of 2024!
1. Robert Eggers for Nosferatu
2. Edward Berger for Conclave
3. Jeff Nichols for The Bikeriders
4. Coralie Fageat for The Substance
5. Sean Baker for Anora
6. James Mangold for A Complete Unknown
7. Denis Villeneuve for Dune: Part Two
8. Jason Reitman for Saturday Night
9. Anna Kendrick for Woman of the Hour
10. Luca Guadagnino for Challengers
Enjoy!
-Timothy Patrick Boyer.
Next Up: Lead Actress; Lead Actor

generally i'm still pretty anti-singing live for movie musicals just bc filming schedules are generally so gruelling that even pro theatre performers would find it grueling however. the stark difference in quality between les mis and wicked actually so insane.
