WoL/Urianger and WoL/Lucia

Tsveta let out a relieved sigh as the pain and auras finally started to ease, pulling out a stopwatch to start tracking the time; her aether migraines had become severe enough that they had warranted an experimental treatment regimen, which had the unfortunate side-effect of temporarily blocking the Echo - she wanted to track how long it took for the Echo to return each time she went through the regimen so they could adjust as needed. It had been a full week now since this one started, shortly after bringing G'raha Tia back to Revenant's Toll.

The rest of her little circle - Lucia, Urianger, Hilda, and Thancred - made the executive decision to take a group trip to the beaches of Costa Del Sol; partly to try and help ease Tsveta's condition, partly to give Thancred and Urianger a proper vacation after spending so much time on the First. So now Tsveta was napping on the sand, head in Urianger's lap as the Elezen read, while the other three relaxed in the water.

Despite her discomfort she started to purr, one hand finding Urianger's thigh and starting to knead. She heard a soft chuckle as Urianger said something in Eorzean - she wasn't sure what, the Echo was still shot and her Eorzean was terrible even on a good day - before he dug his free hand into her hair, rubbing her scalp. She buried her face in Urianger's lap again as she dozed off.

Tsveta's tail was the first indicator that her aether migraine had finally cleared: instead of limply hanging between or to her legs as it had been since the migraine started, her tail was now up and alert, swaying softly in the breeze. Her ears perked forward, and she lifted her head, sniffing - something smelled good. She sat up, rubbing her face as she opened her eyes; Urianger had gotten up while she slept, and was now chatting with Lucia; Thancred was tending to the meat that Tsveta had smelled while Hilda was building up a bonfire. It was now evening, and the sun was starting to set over the water.

Tsveta stood up, brushing off he sand as she did so, simply admiring her two lovers for a moment before she walked over to them. She stretched then walked over, wrapping her arms around Lucia's waist from behind as she buried her face in Lucia's shoulder, planting a kiss at the nape of her neck. Lucia blushed, wrapping her arms around Tsveta's. "How are you feeling, Wife Mine? Any lingering effects?"

"None, thankfully; if anything, I'm kicking myself for waiting until we got to the beach before starting the medications. The Echo's back at full power too, though I'm not sure how much of that is due to the day-long nap."

Urianger handed her a flask of water, which Tsveta took with a rumble of thanks and a quick kiss to his knuckles. As much as Tsveta wanted something stronger - they had brought a keg of mead to split during their little vacation - she knew she needed to tend to other priorities first. As she drank from the water flask, Lucia turned in her arms and started fussing over her, causing Tsveta to give her a bemused chuckle.

"Luce, I'm fine, honest. Just need something to eat and I'll be back to normal." Tsveta looked to Urianger for backup, but he simply held up his hands in surrender. "Nay, my love, let thy wife fuss. I share her concerns with regards to the treatment's efficacy, given its impact on thy Echo."

Tsveta grumbled, but relented to their united front. "Take it up with the chirurgeons in Ishgard then, 'twas their idea to use this regimen as opposed to the one I was on prior. And to give them credit, despite the Echo impairment this is the best treatment I've tried so far."

"Oh, believe you me, I will be having many words with them, I detest how much you suffer when the aether migraines hit, and when "the best they have to offer" still has horrible side effects -"

Tsveta kissed her, stopping Lucia's rant mid-sentence. "Luce, I love you, but save that energy for the chirurgeons themselves, aye? We're on vacation and supposed to be relaxing, and between your and Urianger's ministrations I am better."

Lucia grumbled back but relented, causing Urianger to chuckle. "Aye, and now that thou are upright, thou must eat if our vacation is to continue properly."

Tsveta's stomach rumbled suddenly, and she realized just how hungry she was. She all but ran to help Thancred with the food.
