Pondering my tes ffxiv au. But dynamis and tonal magic have some similarities both are forms of energy/power/magick shrouded in mystery and can impact reality in ways not thought possible. Also the endSINGER “sang” a song of despair upon the universe and she was literally just a ball of dynamis. So both relate to sound. Also there’s a connection with the DragonSONG War and Nidhogg singing his revenge which kind of matches up nicely with how in tes dragons have the thuum.

Imagine with me, O human, that you have a disabled child and you stand helpless, unable to provide him with food, medicine or shelter, as we live In a tent that looks like a grave

being a fan of the elder scrolls lore is a truly insane experience. you're like "wow. I really dig this 2920, The Last Year of the First Era book. I wonder if there's something else like that". so you go to UESP trying to find who wrote 2920 and you find that it was ted peterson and that he once said "you shouldn't really trust 2920's description of akaviri invaders because the in-game author doesn't know shit about them. he made it up and maybe some other things too"
