Art dump of my eyeless Tarnished oc, Anselm Cocke. (Yes that's his last name)
I have a lasting joke in Souls games where the last name of my first character is Cocke but in Elden Ring I decided to make two brothers, Wolfstan and Anselm of the Cocke family. I'm working on a fanfic for them and I'm literally my own fandom atp

Viking Raids
extract in translation from 1997 academic textbook Del Christianizamento dell'Isole Norroveste (On the Christianisation of the Northwestern Isles), written by historian of Middle-Age religion Dijaca Rofotto.

But to understand the final years of Wolfstan II of Northumber, we must look two centuries earlier, to the very first Viking raids on the shores of Albion and Ireland.

The tales of similar raids on Borland towns—and on monasteries in particular—would surely have been common knowledge by the time they spread westward and Halgrive was sacked in the summer of 824.

Compare the fates of Markish Lincon to Northumbren Yorwick: the former never fell, and in fact became the most heavily-fortified town in Markland for the several decades it served as the de facto border of Danish rule.

#33: Werewolf Castle (2021)
Tumblr media
Good news everyone! We’ve moved on to the part of the list where the werewolf movies still suck, but now have some redeeming qualities, which brings us to Werewolf Castle.
In generic medieval times, a generic peasant man’s village gets attacked by a pack of werewolves, so he joins a band of generic knights to hunt them down. The acting is mediocre and so is plot, costumes, and set design. Overall, it makes for a pretty awful movie. But! This movie has one thing going for it: it’s extremely gay. This movie is the most homoerotic one on the list, and this list features a movie called Curse of the Queerwolf. I’m going to list three highlights.
When the protagonist’s village gets attacked early on in the film, it features a sex scene between the protagonist, who is butt-ass naked, and his generic medieval girlfriend, who is fully clothed (and dies by werewolf immediately after).
Multiple times throughout the movie, the main antagonist (named Wolfstan, which I love) offers to turn the protagonist and his fellow knights into werewolves. Some accept and the ensuing werewolf bite scenes get real saucy. In the writer/director Charlie Steeds’ own words, “He’s sort of collecting up these young men and coaxing them into his werewolf tribe. The werewolf initiation scenes (lots of licking and blood) are purposely homoerotic. “ (Charlie Steeds, Dread Central).
And lastly, this screenshot I took:

I certainly wouldn’t recommend this movie to most people, but if you simply need to watch a campy, homoerotic werewolf movie, then go for it. I certainly had a lot of fun. Just maybe watch queerwolf first, since it’s a lot better.

I've finally finished Ted's dice palette!
Tumblr media
Theodore Wolfstan is a human bard with a big ol' heart. He's a massive coward and willing to run away often, but he also sees himself as the party historian - documenting cool things that happen along the way. Currently, he's travelling with party called Fate and a Goblin, wherein he's at least a decade older than all of them. So, he's quickly become the resident Dad, which he (not so secretly) loves.
Ted has a very orange feel - most of his palette is orange and I'm trying to match a kind of sunset vibe. He also has dashes of purples and blues in there, as he is also a fancy boy, having been brought up by his father - a lord of the country Valero - and played in lord's courts over the last decade or so.
Feel free to ask me more!
Dice IDs:
Kraken's Mulholland Sunset
Kraken's Peach Tea
HD Dice's Nightingale
UDIXI Dice's Purple and Orange Vapor Swirl
UDIXI Dice's (seemingly unnamed) Orange and Purple glitter (- purchased through Valkyrie Dice as "Phoenix")
Chessex's Solar Vortex with White
TDSO's Galaxy Shimmer Blue and Green
Generic Orange Pearl set (- bought from Kraken as a mystery set)
And an unnamed blue crystal d4 and blue d8 bought from the Dice Shop Online

✨Episode 7 is live!!✨
Hey there lovely listeners,
The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted that there was very little Wolfstar in our interview last time – we got excited talking to BigBlackDog – can you blame us?
This week is… still not 100% Wolfstar centric BUT we do go into Remus and Sirius as characters and the ingredients that make a pairing like Wolfstar so perfect.
Let’s just call this the second in a series of Wolfstar episodes. To all my (fellow) hardcore Wolfstans, know that there will be more Wolfstar couple-talk in the future!
For now, sit back and relax as we unpack some of our favourite characters in the entire HP universe. If you liked it get in touch – we promise you don’t need to carry any extra wolfsbane when you reach out!
Love, Nathan and Megs xo

The excellent Coffee House on Wolfstan Way @coffee_the
Thu 28 Oct 21: on my second day of walking round Queen Edith I refuelled at The Coffee House on Wulfstan Way. It’s another of those excellent neighbourhood coffee shops which offers a full English, a full range of excellent coffees and snacks throughout the day.
