Hey friend! Could I please get a dice palette for my new Pathfinder character, Mosh? They are a sprite gunslinger, who is also Punk. I envision them with lots of black and bright/neon accents to accent it. They have a big mouth and a big heart all in a tiny package. They fight with a combo of goblin-made gun and baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire, just for the punk aesthetic, lol. (Yes, Mosh comes from mosh pit, lol)

Dice palette for twins characters I made with my friend @stardustedknuckles !

On the left, representing my character Muinagwyn is a couple of sets from two different Kickstarters, flowers and music and wild colors to represent their free spirit and time in the feywild as a child, plus a few old odd dice in fiery colors to represent the passion and rage inside them.

On the right representing their character Mainagwyn is a pair of Dice Envy sets from their Pride subscription. The gold sigils represent the complex ordered mine of a wizard, while the black metal set with bright multicolored fissures represent their own wild, brilliant passionate side. They keep it tamped down but it still escapes through the cracks. There's also a spell book d2!

In the middle is our shared backstory and circumstance. A set of ruby-in-zoisite stone dice for their home back in the forest, green for the trees, but red stains for a dead mom. A set of liquid core and the genderfluid pride sets both represent our Blessed of Corellon nature, able to shift our bodies male or female as we please, which being genderfluid we both do. Mai is very "gender? No thank you." While Mui is very "That's fine I'll take theirs too." Last set is a sharp edge set with those metal cage edges, representing the strict magic prep school they both attend, brilliance caged, for now.

It is time for the Sieger dice! Magus gonna cut you down! Then sip some tea. Then chuckle at a clever poem and fall asleep in his closet.

His palette is gray, black, purple, too purple, and— you know what, his navy blue hair isn’t represented. Oh well! Time for more dice I guess! Oh, and a pop of red for some spooky eyes always monitoring him from the shadows… Can you find them in his pic?

The Wolves of Langston: Chapter 2… COMPLETE!

After getting all of my Chapter 1 notes, questions, and theories together, I sat down and worked my way through Chapter 2 last night. Once again, Veszfein survived!

Again, trying to keep things somewhat vague…

As a true-crime-enjoyer, I’m glad the first step was to go talk to the significant other of the deceased. I like the SO less as a suspect now, but I won’t rule them out completely. Veszfein did fail a charisma check (and I totally forgot about inspiration, but decided to roll with it), so I get the sense the SO is hiding something… but what? And I otherwise learned some interesting things, which lend credence to some of the questions I already had.

I also got to have my first fight of the campaign and it was a shitshow (affectionate)! It was truly my own fault. There were two monsters, my boy Veszfein, and an NPC. There was no stat block for the NPC and I didn’t realize that they were just supposed to automatically take out one of the monsters on their own while I fought the other… So I had Vesz fight both.

There were so many whiffed hits and successful hits with only 1 damage. Ah, low-level D&D my beloved.

Luckily, Veszfein is a dexterous and well-armored level 2 fighter and took a beating, but survived in tact. I only realized after moving to the next section that it didn’t have to be that hard, but again I rolled with it.

Before ending the day, I had Vesz swing by the local general store to get a health potion… you know, just in case my reading comprehension fails and I make things harder then they need to be again. Then it was back to the local inn for some shut-eye. Or so I thought. There was one more spooky encounter for the day and it rattled our hero enough that he was unable to take a long rest. Hoo boy…

In other news, I re-did Veszfein’s dice palette!
