I've been thinking the past few days about how, after the scene in s2 where these huge chains fall from Stiles' locker, everyone in school thinks he's either in a gang or into some very deep BSDM, and there's like this tally that goes around where people annotate things they've heard him say and debate over why it points to one or the other.

I mean, someone will hear him say human sacrifices and they'll immediately go 'alright so this guy is roleplaying some very hardcore stuff', but then someone else will hear him say something like we gotta find the bodies and then it's like... maybe not roleplaying?

Werewolf? Depending on the context, it's a code word or the name of a rival gang (his gang??), or like some weird kink no one's sure they want to know much about.

Also, Derek Hale is definitely involved somehow, but this doesn't help clarify whether Stiles is in a gang or if he and Derek are just into some very kinky shit. There's a tally on that, too.

I want to make a longer post about this someday but: I think Arya's TWOW arc is going to include her coming to terms with her identity as a Lady. This has been an ongoing conflict with her since her first chapter and I think her flowering in winds is going to mark a turning point. The theory of her having an apprenticeship with the courtesans holds a lot of weight and the idea of Arya going through puberty among a group of unconventional women she's fostered a positive relationship with is just too perfect. It would really have an impact on Arya reconciling her personal idea of what a Lady should be. There's also a lot that she could learn from them in terms of courtesies, communication, appearances, body-language, etc. that would elevate her current skill-set and ways her relationship with them could push the plot.

Not to mention she will undoubtedly reclaim her identity as Arya Stark, and her being a Lady is inseparable from that. Arya Stark is a Lady Stark and being a Lady is a social position, not a measure of how well someone preforms feminine tasks. She shouldn't have to relinquish her position because she doesn't fit patriarchal standards. That's not to say that she's ever going to be the perfect example of a traditional Lady but what I think will happen is that she becomes capable of playing the part. She plays several identities throughout the series but she's always been Arya underneath, so I think it's appropriate that she learns to adopt a "persona" that's part of her. Her remembering Ned putting on his "Lord's face" (+ the various examples of other characters being separate from their ruling persona) makes me think that Arya will be donning her "Lady's face" when she makes a return to Westeros.

I accept that I have trash taste because I ship my Last Dragonborn with Ulfric, but Ulfric is a teddy bear compared to the gross behavior of Bishop. Like seriously, this guy's behavior is reminiscent of a really bad anime based on an even worse manga. Ulfric's problem is he's layered and the devs cut some of the layers.

When I made my outline for my latest story I realized "Wait. The protagonist is just angry and miserable for like 75% of the story. This isn't fun. Oh no what do I do???" And then I remembered that the premise involves the protagonist being taken to a palace. With a wide variety of luxurious Things to enjoy. So that just kind of solved itself.

Protip: If your sub's bad mood is bothering you then simply give them a steak that's more expensive than their entire house.

Jackson, Isaac and Boyd headed to a club to celebrate graduating college. They drank, laughed and danced like there was no tomorrow. After settling down Isaac looked at Jackson who had just come out to them and was nervously sipping his drink.

Incredulously Isaac asked, “So wait, you think you’re gay because why?”

Jackson shook his head, “I don’t think I’m gay. I know I’m gay.”

Boyd gave him a look. “Really?”

The deadpan tone made Isaac snort. “If you say so dude, but wait. What about the fact that you’ve been with three women or well four technically?”

“Four?” Boyd parroted with slightly widened eyes. “Who?”

With a smirk Isaac listed them. “Lydia, Allison, Carrie and Cora.”

Boyd nearly choked on his drink. “Cora? As in Hale?”

“Mhmmmmm.”

Jackson rolled his eyes, “All four of them were bad choices and negative experiences for a variety of reasons.”

Isaac tilted his head. “So you’re gay because you’ve had bad experiences with women?”

Before Jackson could answer, music started playing and a male dancer came out on stage, taking his place at the center. The guys all turned to look.

Jackson’s mouth dropped open as he caught sight of the one who had been his gay awakening. Stiles fucking Stilinski. “Nope. I’m gay because of him. That’s…That’s why.”

His two friends exchanged a look, but Jackson couldn’t take his eyes off of Stiles, off of his Stiles. When said man’s gaze locked with Jackson’s, he blushed, sending him a wink and a smirk.

When the amber eyed man danced his way closer to Jackson, everything else faded away and now that Jackson was out he felt braver. After the dance, during which their eyes never left each other, he would ask Stiles out. He’d waited long enough, they both had.
