last night I dreamed that the doctor was in a situation where the only solution was to die for real. but obviously they didn't want to stay dead so they were like "oh! I'll get the advice of someone who keeps dying but always comes back"

so they called the master (and I was watching the episode like !!!!! which is how I watch every ep with the master)

And bc the doctor contacted the master and not the other way around, the master didn't have an evil scheme prepared so they were both chilling for the rest of the ep, just vibing while they defeated Enemy of the Week

I had a dream that jerma finally did the mac and cheese tier list stream but the whole time he was dressed exactly like queen elizabeth and spoke in a british cockney accent. the stream was turned off after he spilled a teacup of boiling cheese on his lap and singed his balls. chat regarded this as the worst jerma stream of all time

Okay so I just found out today that there's going to be a twilight TV show reboot? Now personally I'm not sure we need to revisit the series, I think the first set was true enough to not need it.

However, when I saw someone announcing this, I remembered this note I put in my phone when I woke up a year ago.

i had a dream i was in my childhood room collecting fish for a fish tank. they were strange because i would pick one up and it seemed dead, but when i put it in water it came to life. i had to go to school and forgot it was a spirit day. everyone was dressed up like old hollywood black and white tv characters, grey paint and all. i later discovered a dead fish in my pocket. i tried putting it in water and it stayed floating at the top. i worried about the rest of my fish all the way home. i found some of them floating when i got there. some were still swimmin just fine.

sometimes when i have a Bad Dream where i wake up with the adrenaline rush that makes me feel like someone has poured ice water underneath my skin, if i go immediately back to sleep it just. drops me in the same dream.

so last night when i had a dream that i, a single father, witnessed a murder through a window and immediately was the Most Stressed because they knew who i, a witness, was and i needed to protect my 8-year-old daughter - obviously i didn't want to go back to sleep instantly

however i should note that sometimes i will continue dreams anyway even if i stay up for a bit. however, it does reset something! it resets the genre

so when i went back to sleep i was thrust into??? a romcom? apparently i, in a fit of extreme stress, hired a massive bodyguard for me and my kid to protect us. i was very secretive about this whole thing (you know, on account of the murderer, and not wanting to explain why i had hired a bodyguard)

however, apparently from the outside looking in, this apparently meant i was moving on from my ex and ✨finally dating again✨

i did not pick up on this misunderstanding but it was a series of hijjinks where i was trying to hide my bodyguard's existence, bonding with him and my daughter (and fondly watching him bond with my kid) while the neighborhood ladies were like. idk. gossiping over tea on when i would finally introduce my beau and trying to hint that they would be 100% cool if i, you know, was dating again and wouldn't it be so nice if my kids had another figure to look up to etc.

then, when i finally figured out that this was the belief i, in an apparent fit of insanity, decided to lean into it

anyway that's how my horror dream where i witnessed a murder and someone kept breaking into my house became a fucking. fake dating romcom.
