it could be because she looks similar to Soap or because she also possesses that pliable, complaisant trait he had. either way, Ghost is still reeling from Soap’s death. finds a perfect little bird whose day-to-day is prose-like and repetitive because she doesn’t have much going on for her. she keens at the barest hint of praise Ghost sends her way and that’s when he decides, yeah, close enough, and brings her home with him lol

It is XENOLING TIME !

Xenoling are to me past inkling and octoling between the state of animal and the civilized step

Marina has a low call but a really loud purr.

Pearl has a really loud call but a low purr.

Marina tend to walk on 2 legs to be able to use tools

She is one of the few who understand the concept of tool.

She made herself very intimidating to avoid conflict.

Marina is big, like massive even for xenoling standard.

Pearl like to walk on 4 legs.

Pearl is a really small for inkling standard.

Pearl is not wearing a "crown" has this concept doesn't exist yet but a jaws from a bigger species she killed.

Pearl is like the black footed cat, she is a really good hunter, she get around 60% of her hunt

Pearl tend to join Marina in their den and sleep on her chest after a hunt. Marina cover her body in exchange.

Pearl share her hunts with Marina who is not an hunter (she can but avoid it).

Scientist would find their bones next to each other and say they don't understand their bond has opposite species.

Child advocate lawyer Miles Edgeworth. He's this big scary looking guy who Immediately folds under the slightest bit of pressure from a child. (Your honor he said he wouldn't testify without the camera. I told him it was illegal. He restated his terms. So he gets the camera in court. Very well then Prosecutor Edgeworth.) But they call him a demon for a reason. He met Jessie 8 minutes ago and if ANYONE was mean to her he would kill everyone in the room and then injure himself trying to make her smile.

His office is pink. It is full of children's toys and he Has actually seen every episode of them yes i would love to discuss it's merits right now do you have three hours? These two facts mean children either 1. Flock to him or 2. Have something easy to bully him about. Which he takes in stride from children. (But rip to the adult who tried to join in) See: Ema.

He knows first hand the Terror of being on the stand. Of being Alone on the stand while your world collapses around you. But he's there. They are Never alone while he's there with them. He is calm, eloquent and the most powerful person in the courtroom for sure! And still he walks the stairs because "my father died in an elevator. So im scared of them. It's okay to be scared of things. We can always take the stairs."

He's a pathetic mess. More than once a child has been brought to him early in the morning and asked if they've brushed their teeth yet. "Because if not I still need to. I have some spares if you'd like one. Even some steel samurai ones." He is still not nice to the detectives. Some children scold him (which he accepts) and some laugh. (which he wears as a badge of pride for the rest of the week.)

He is on the emergency housing list for kids taken in after incidents. It's just supposed to be for a night but a few times it became extended stays. He was pulled off the case for one of the girls because "Prosecutor Edgeworth i think you'd make a more valuable witness than prosecutor don't you?" The word around the courthouse was Edgeworth nearly killed the defendant so the judge pulled the demon out.

It was Ollie's birthday so Rex took him and Shota to the pier to get icecream and go on the rides! They had fun but the boys are now convinced the monster from the haunted house is living under Shota's bed.

It's that time of week again! WIP Wednesday-Is-A-State-Of-Mind!

At some point, I'm going to be at a scene in Reel and Deal Chapter 5 to actually feel like sharing it. It may not seem like it with how long it's taking me to get through this opening, but at some point, I will be through these mind games.

In the meantime, who knows if I'll ever post it or not but I enjoyed writing it, my PARTICULARLY self-indulgent crossover AU!

“You can’t cause diplomatic trouble when we’re already a part of Norad, you cause civil unrest," Joshua says, primly. Neku avoids snickering, barely. "And since I didn't break our city away from the kingdom as a whole and govern it myself, I don't think it was out of line."

"Did he threaten it?" Neku asks.

"He threatened it," Shiki says.

"Pretty sure he was gonna do it," Beat adds.

"But I didn't, even though I would have been well within my rights for their interference in my affairs, so no one's going to remember anything now," Joshua says.

"They didn't force me into it, you know," Neku says. Joshua just glares at him down his muzzle.

Finally got around to redressing my Ginger doll and putting her hair back in pigtails, i love her sm she is now displayed on some random stand i had up. Also got around to redressing my double of Zooey that i had gotten idk how long ago, i had to wash her hair, and i decided to give her diff shoes and Harley's jeans. Idk i just wasnt to big of a fan of her skirt matching her skin tone. And now she sits near me.

Also did dishes, and am back to trying to do some hw.

I feel slightly productive today.

Damn i wonder if i'll have time to wash a diff doll.
