Deathbringer Rewrite Concept because I was Thinking about How Annoying He is Canonically.

The whole Tempest assassination thing happened before Deathbringer even hatched (and Quickstrike survived). The winglet is moved to four years before book 1 when Blister is discussing with Glacier's commander an alliance with Blaze's side to take out Burn before they go back to fighting. Quickstrike hit by lightning happens, and Deathbringer kills the commander with a spear stolen from a Blister's-side soldier. This leads the IceWings to believe this was all a plot to kill the second-in-command of the war, and blah blah u get the point.

Deathbringer is more quiet and calculated. Once he gets to know a dragon, he's more playful, but not straight annoying like the books.

He doesn't tease Glory in public, and is very concerned about not embarrassing her or crossing her boundaries. He's a gentleman.

Glorybringer just kind of annoys me. I feel nothing towards Deathbringer, no like or dislike. I'd much rather see Glory, one of my favs, with an interesting character! But with canon there's not really a way to escape Glorybringer. All Deathbringer is is a walking mouth for Glory to banter with. He just kind of completely blocks out any chance at shipping anyone else with Glory without doing some stupid "kill canon love interest off and have them immediately fall for your rarepair" crap. Because Death ain't leaving without dying it seems
