i still use WoF amino 💀 going six years strong. i've seen a lot and i think i should get a medal.

honestly, it's pretty chill nowadays. it's way less active, but that means there's way less drama......... hope i don't jinx it. i like how i can recognize pretty much all of the regulars on it by now.

also we got the word "yaoi" got unbanned a couple months ago. we can finally say yaoi. idk why it was ever banned to begin with (it seems like no one else does either).

I had been looking desperately for a character design that I had purchased in 2019. I had deleted all my accounts and stuff from that time, so I was not going to be able to recover this design if it wasn't on my computer or in my Google Drive

Well, not only did I find the design I had been looking desperately for in a Drive folder called "Extras", but I found a ton of other character designs that I'd had around that same timeframe.

Dragon of the week

heyo been a bit lol, been up to a lot recently but one thing i wanted to share is my covers for a dragon of the week thing over on the wof amino

I tried putting them in order from newest to oldest. My personal favorite is still battlewinner cause I loved drawing the lava. Least favorite is probably kinkajou as I dont feel I did her justice, dont hate it but I would go back and make it more vibrant if i could. Id also like to give dusky a new piece as that one is much older than the rest

being 11 years old with not monitored Internet access I was the big wof amino in like 2018-2019 I think and I was really obsessed with the gecc-tails fan tribe and made a rip off and the owner got mods to take it down

And then I made an art challenge around sicknesses later on and the gecc-tails owner asked me to do STD's

I have been informed that today is appreciate a dragon day so I have decided to show u guys my dragon who is also one of my sonas and was my main sona for a LONG time (like almost 4 years)

This is Vostok (I usually just refer to him by Vos), and he was my main WoF-sona for a very long time like I said lol. He's still a sona of mine bc he still holds a lot of value to me, I just don't use him nearly as much as I used to since I'm not rlly into WoF anymore. But anyways, he's also accumulated a ton of art over time, mostly bc he was my sona while I was on the Wings of Fire Amino, and especially got a lot more while I was on the WoFA staff team (long story). So even tho he may not see the light of day as frequently as he used to, I wanted to give Vos some time in the spotlight here today :]

Not the closed tribe anon but as someone who was in the WOF amino for like a month before having enough and deleting my account. Yeah closed tribes are fucking stupid!!!

I dunno if this is an amino specific thing but godddd the "special traits" are so fucking idiotic.

SOME TRIBES GATEKEEP DISABILITIES AS SPECIAL TRAITS????? I saw one tribe that said eyeless dragons was an "epic" trait and when I said that was kinda fucked up since that's a disability and they essentially replied with a long winded essay about how it's fictional and I'm sensitive even though people and animals can be born without eyes

I've seen disabilities kept as special traits or only so many people could have them in warrior cats RPs before. I had no idea that was a problem in fantribes too, even though I was on amino for a while.

Tropical Storm (Rain/Sea): one of my main characters, she was my very first wof character, I created her back in elementary school when I first started reading this series lol

Sunset (Sand): adopted her a long time ago back when I was on amino and she was my sona for a while, now she’s just for comfort

Neptune (Ice/Night): my beloved little guy, another one of my main characters in the little story I have

Taipan (Sand): another beloved little guy, Neptunes boyfriend and one of the princes of the sand kingdom in my story

Chili (Sky/Sand): a firescales I created not too long ago, he doesn’t play a big part in my story I just really like to draw him

Chimaera (Trench): chimaera like the fish not the mythical creature, I adopted a trenchtail on amino when I was still on it and wanted to draw him again

Seaglass (Ice/Sea): they make sun catchers for a living I just wanted to draw them finalizing one of their pieces

It's so wild to think that we were all just posting art on a very terrible meme app (bc most of that app is a cesspool tbh), I remember getting random hate from all of the people who used the app for memes what a funny time lmao

But thank you so much!!!!! I'm so glad I've had the opportunity to meet such amazing people online and be a part of this wonderful community!! I love that no matter what platforms rise and fall, we all still manage to find and support one another throughout the years. And I'm beyond thankful for the support you all have given me throughout my artistic journey, especially when I made such major shifts from content types. A part of me misses wof and the "good old days" and sometimes I wish I had stuck it out, but everyone has to go through phases and find what makes them truly inspired in order to create art. Wof was what really pushed me to improve, and I'm thankful for all of the fun we had back then!! And even though most people have gone their separate ways since those days, I'm always happy to hear from you guys!! ;W; <33

And I apologize I know I'm really terrible at keeping in contact with people; I've always hated texting which is certainly inconvenient for keeping online friends smh
