The first girl I dated treated me like I was stupid. It was hard to communicate with her and she seemed very bent on being stuck in her trauma... Which was her right as far as processing goes but it did/does irk me when I am treated like an idiot, microaggressed and told open communication is important when she would complain to her friends in chat about me instead of uhhhhh talking to me about it?

Truly one of the absolute biggest bummers to selling beds is the two versions of “give me the cheapest bed you have.” This happens most frequently for 1. Children or 2. Old people.

Basically someone has a persons sleep health entirely in their power and decides to give them the absolute shittiest possible bed because they’re not worth more.

I merely resent cheap kids bed people. Upper middle class parents who casually assure me their cherished boy child doesn’t need anything wimpy like foam on his bed, and no, he doesn’t need back support despite doing almost all his growing in his sleep.

But I truly loathe the douchebags who come in from their fancy ass cars wearing watches that cost thousands and inform me their parent is moving into assisted living and they need a cheap bed for them to die on.

It’s not every time. Sometimes people come in on a budget because they can’t afford more but they generally want nice things for their dependents. But the callous way I’ve seen elders and children referred to and dismissed just bums me the fuck out every time.

I just. I love the party I DM SO much. They're ridiculous. You know how some parties are murderhobos? Mine are litigation hobos. I think this is because the clorcerer is a former IRL lawyer and his IRL wife started out playing a fiend-pact fire genasi warlock. Her pact was negotiated by Daddy's Lawyers. And since we've established she has access to a pack of infernal attorneys, this has become their go-to.

They got Mammon and Asmodeus arguing over an infernal FDIC situation.

They brought formal charges against the Grand Vizier of the City of Brass.

They stole the Tamlin (hereditary title) from the Queen of Air and Darkness by getting her tangled in a custody dispute with Hell over his soul. The Janet Precedent has been invoked. (Asmodeus is going to notice the repeated chicanery at some point.)

The genasi is going to help our Fairy wizard depose his lightly despotic archfey father by seducing the man and then taking his kingdom and his heir in divorce court.

They're working on ousting a dragon from her involuntary indenture as a museum curator/collection object belonging to a Dao and I suspect contract law will be involved.

I will not at all be surprised if the Warforged decides to somehow seize the patent for his manufacture from the Noble Dao who holds it and liberates his siblings that way.

Just. These litigious bastards. They're ridiculous. I adore them to bits.

I think Itd be funny if Steve accidentally became obsessed with puzzles but won't admit it the same way dads watch shows by standing off to the side. robin has them out and he complains but she finds him 2hrs later still standing doing puzzles and he's like a caught raccoon
