I've never seen a single Emmerdale tik tok video before and now in the past week I've had four pop up on my fyp. Every single one of them was referencing John to be the new Meena.
I don't know how much I believe that theory, however, can you imagine if that was the case? I'm picturing a few months down the line. A handful of people have been killed off by now (even theoretically I'm hoping one of them is Wendy). Everyone in the village is on edge/concerned who will be next. There's a large gathering in the woolpack. Most of the Dingles are there, Victoria, Mack, Aaron and John. Aaron sitting at the booth closest to the toilets with Mack opposite him. Victoria is sitting at the entrance side of the bar. Cain and Moira are at a table. John is standing in the middle of the floor on his way to order another pint.
Suddenly, the police and detective storms in. Their eyes instantly on John. He's obviously denying their accusations. John looks to Vic for back up but she's stunned that she can't even form a coherent sentence to defend him. John whips around to find Aaron hoping he'll help him. Aaron starts to speak before Mack kicks him from under the table suggesting him to shut up. John, getting angrier by the minute, tries to laugh it off to the police. He says he's down with their play and reaches for Aaron for them to make an exit but before John grabs Aaron a mystery hand latches onto John's wrist preventing him from reaching Aaron. The camera focuses on the two connecting arms before slowly panning out to reveal the identity of the mystery hand. John's eyes mimic the movement of the camera as he is faced with the glare from none other than Robert Sugden. "Don't you ever touch him again" cue credits.

Nowhere left to run .... at least not in this case
- Meena Jutla and Ben Tucker fanfic (Drabble)
Summery: times up for Ben ... fortunately for Meena he’s clumsy enough to get the job done by himself ....
Warning: this fic cantains murder and Meena being a queen!
For @sugdenlovesdingle and @fuckyeahmackenzieboyd
(This is mostly a bit of fun ... ahem please just kill him off emmerdale.. also never wrote Meena so this is terrible and I’m sorry 😂)
——————
Ben closed his laptop speechless at what he just sore.
“I know to bad billy showed up on time! That bitch was as good as dead!”
He froze... oh no
“Me-Meena? What ... yo-you tried to drown Victoria?” He asked clearly very panicked.
“Well I wouldn’t say drowned more... helping her under the water.” She smiled sinisterly.
“Your insane!” He snapped stepping backwards the sheer terror clear on his face.
“Oh Benjamin? Didn’t your parents ever teach you any manners? Then again from what I herd your daddy was probably a bit to drunk to do that right?”
“You’re sick...!” He shouted.
“Ouch! I’m so hurt! Come Andrea did better than that come to think of it so did Leanna”
“W-what?”
“Yeah kinda might have killed them well technically I killed lenna but the fire killed Andrea? So 1/2 technically”
Ben backed even further until he was up agains the wall. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing ...
“oops sorry I’m scaring you aren’t i ? Then again not like it’s going to matter it’s not a thing dead people do right?”
Silence from the kayak instructor.
“What? You actually think I can let you live now you know my secrets dear me you really are silly aren’t you Benjamin?” She grinned stepping forward. Ben stayed frozen.
“Don’t worry I’ll make it quick for you! I’ll try really hard to hit the right arteries!” She said Picking up a Pair of sissiors from the desk.
Ben stood for a few more seconds before bolting.
“Oh hopefully you’re a better runner than you’re a kayak instructor because we all know how bad you’re at that!” She laughed chasing after him.
———
Ben was trapped the doors where locked and he was hiding behind a counter with a murder in the bulilding!
“Ben! Come on stop being silly! It’s easier if you just accept that you would look a lot better in a coffin!”
Now was his chance.
He got up running past her on the floor... big mistake. within seconds he slipped smacking his head on a table, cracking the skull open as he collided with it.
“Ohh Benjamin maybe you need to look out for went floor signs someone could have gotten hurt!”
“Pl-please?” He said weakly.
“Aww such a shame ... I had a lesson booked next week hopefully they’ll have filled out your job vacancy by then!” She laughed taking off her high heel.
“Nothing personal Ben... just let’s be honest you where always just such a bore! Hopefully that boyfriend of yours will get his husband out of prison!”
She smiled grabbing the scruff of his shirt turning him around before wacking him with the heal finishing him off once and for all.
Putting on her red lipstick she smiled happily strutting out of the hop on her way back home as if nothing had happened.
Bens body laid there lifeless as his corpse began to decompose. it was discovered the next morning and was ruled out as an accident.
Unfortunately for Ben it would remain that way forever, but fortunately for Meena it was a triumph.
————
(I know this is crap but I’m tired and I don’t care for English or good plot right now)

Twins with a twist born in Victoria after mom has many miscarriages
Tumblr media Tumblr media
VICTORIA — Margo and Ian Sheldon tried to have a baby for six years, enduring the pain of multiple miscarriages and a full-term still birth.
Last week, four days apart, their two babies arrived.

The near-twin births came after Margo’s foster sister, Meena Buckham, offered to be a surrogate and carry the couple’s child. Shortly after, Margo found out that she and Ian had conceived naturally.
After both babies were born at Victoria General Hospital, Ian is calling them "twins with a twist."
"It's a very long awaited day, I'm totally thrilled," said Margo, after being discharged from hospital Monday. "There’s been a lot of tears today."
Buckham delivered Sofia Grace Sheldon on June 16, with her husband, Kevin, and Margo by her side. Sofia's brother Austin Olivier Sheldon was born Saturday.
Buckham brought Sofia to the hospital Monday so the Sheldons could be united as a family of four. Margo beamed as she cradled Austin, while Ian held Sofia, who has a matching shock of dark brown hair.
Margo, 42, calls Austin and Sofia her "double rainbow babies," which refers to babies born after miscarriages or still births.
"It's the miracle of all miracles," Ian said, adding medical staff at Victoria General Hospital have been marvelling at the births.
"They're saying they're a bit like twins but not carried in the same womb," Ian said. A friend came up with the term "moon twins" because they're born under the same moon, he said.
Kat Leblanc, an Island Health perinatal social worker who helps families going through surrogate births, said she has never seen a situation where both the biological mother and the surrogate were pregnant at the same time.
"I think it’s very rare, I’ve personally never seen it," Leblanc said.
Sofia came five days before her due date of June 21, and Austin was born two weeks before his due date of July 4.
Austin, the chill one, is a bit "meatier," Margo said, weighing seven pounds, 14 ounces compared to the wide-eyed Sofia, who was born six pounds, 13 ounces.
Margo and Ian live in Jasper but chose to deliver in Victoria because Buckham, a 44-year-old mother of two, lives in nearby Langford, where she works as an educational assistant.
The couple chose Austin’s middle name, Olivier, to honour his still born brother and Sofia’s middle name "because we’ve been given so much grace along this journey here," Ian said.
Doctors could not find a medical reason to explain why Margo was having repeated miscarriages, she said.
During a trip to Shuswap Lake in 2018, just after Margo discovered the baby she was carrying in her sixth pregnancy did not have a heart beat, she told her foster sister, Buckham , that she still wanted a family, but could not bear the pain of another loss.
"She asked how I was doing," Margo recalled. "I said 'I'm dying, I can't do this again.'"
Standing at the kitchen sink doing the dishes, Buckham offered to be the couple’s surrogate.
"Ian and Margo have been trying for so long to start a family and I knew they would be great parents," Buckham said. "I figured, if I'm able to, I would totally give that gift to her."
As a teen, Buckham was raised by Margo's parents, so she and Margo were raised like sisters.
"I think it's one of the most selfless and beautiful acts," Ian said of Buckham's offer. "It's courageous and so huge of the heart."
The couple plans to spend two more weeks in Victoria before returning to Jasper with their babies.
Margo said after all their pain and loss, the family has a "happy ending and new beginning."
"I don't want to say all the sadness was worth it, but I feel like the bravery paid off. It’s such a massive sense of relief and completion and a sense of peace. I'm finally a mom."

Jaipur “Pink City” - Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. At the center of its stately street grid (notable in India) stands the opulent, colonnaded City Palace complex. With gardens, courtyards and museums, part of it is still a royal residence.
Amber Fort - Amber (pronounced Amer) is at a distance of about 11 kilometres from Jaipur. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was the bastion of the Kachwahas of Amber, until the capital was moved to the plains, to what is today Jaipur. The palace, located in craggy hills, is a beautiful melange of Hindu and Mughal styles. Raja Man Singh I began construction in 1592 and the palace, which was built as a strong, safe haven against attacking enemies, was completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh. The contrast between the harsh exterior and the inviting interior couldn’t be more surprising. Made entirely of red sandstone and white marble, visitors are left spellbound by the magnificence of the palace that utilises carvings, precious stones and mirrors. The splendour of the palace is enhanced by the breath-taking vista of the Maota Lake in front. The palace is nearly seven centuries old and has a legendary past. Originally a small structure that the Rajputs won from the Meena tribes, it was later transformed into the grand Amber Palace.
Tumblr media
City Palace - Located deep within the walled city, the City Palace Complex was conceived and built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. A beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture, the palace is still home to the last ruling royal family which lives in a private section of the palace. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is credited with building most of the structures, but it was expanded upon by later rulers as well. The City Palace Complex includes the Mubarak Mahal (the palace of reception) and the Maharani’s Palace (the palace of the queen). Mubarak Mahal now houses the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum and displays a vast and unique collection of royal costumes, delicate Pashmina (Kashmiri) shawls, Benaras silk saris, and other dresses with Sanganeri prints and folk embroidery. The clothes of Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I are also on display. The Maharani’s Palace, surprisingly, has an interesting display of very well-preserved Rajput weaponry, some dating back to the 15th century. Other than the arms, the palace is adorned with beautiful paintings on the ceiling that are well-maintained.
Jantar Mantar - Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is considered to be the largest of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. It contains sixteen geometric devices, designed to measure time, track celestial bodies and observe the orbits of the planets around the sun. It also houses the Interpretation Centre that helps the tourists to understand about the working principles & chronolgy of the observatory.
Tumblr media
Hawa Mahal - Hawa Mahal, literally the Palace of Winds, was built in 1799 by the poet king Sawai Pratap Singh as a summer retreat for him and his family. It also served as a place where the ladies of the royal household could observe everyday life without being seen themselves. This unique five-storey structure is a blend of Hindu and Islamic architecture, and the exterior, with its small latticed windows (called jharokhas), resembles the crown of Lord Krishna. The windows also serve as an air-conditioner of sorts, blowing cool air throughout the palace, making it the perfect retreat during summers. Built from pink sandstone, the Hawa Mahal is Jaipur’s iconic landmark and visitors can view its complete magnificence from outside, from across the road. However, it is also possible to climb right up to the top for a wonderful view from the windows. Today, the Mahal is maintained by the Archaeological Department of the Government of Rajasthan and also houses an archaeological museum in the courtyard.
Albert Hall Museum - The building gets its name from The Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the inspiration for its design. The exquisitely built Albert Hall is housed in the centre of Ram Niwas Garden. Sir Swinton Jacob (who is also the mastermind behind many other palaces in Rajasthan) conceptualised and designed it using styles from the Indo-Sarcenic architecture and the Prince of Wales laid the foundation stone of the building in 1876. The museum displays a wide range of metal objects, wood crafts, carpets, stone and metal sculptures, arms and weapons, natural stones and ivory goods. It also houses a large collection of miniatures from Bundi, Kota, Kishangarh, Udaipur and Jaipur schools of art.
Tumblr media
Nahargarh Fort - Nahargarh Fort sits proudly on a ridge of the Aravalli Hills, creating an impressive northern backdrop to the city of Jaipur. It was constructed during the reign of Jai Singh in 1734, and was later expanded in 1868. Nahargarh, which means abode of tigers, was a formidable barrier, defending Jaipur against attacking enemies. Within its walls, the fort houses Madhavendra Bhawan, the summer destination for the members of the royal family. Built by Sawai Madho Singh, the palace has 12 matching boudoirs for the queens, at the head of which is a suite for the king. They are all connected by corridors decorated with delicate murals. Even today the palace is a favoured spot for local picnickers. The fort looks brilliant when floodlit at night. Overlooking the city, it presents a glittering view of the city lights.
Jaigarh Fort - About 15 kilometres from Jaipur, Jaigarh Fort was built by Sawai Jai Singh II sometime in the early 18th century amidst the arid, rocky and thorn-scrub covered hills. Despite its ancient construction, it still retains most of its imposing citadel appearance. Visitors can see the world’s largest cannon – Jaiban, at the fort.
Tumblr media
Birla Mandir - The Lakshmi-Narayan Temple, or the Birla Temple, as it is more popularly known as, is located at the base of Moti Dungari. Built on an elevated platform, this comparatively modern temple is built entirely of white marble and dominates the skyline of south Jaipur. The temple was commissioned and built by renowned Indian industrialists, the Birlas, in 1988. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, also called Narayan, and his companion, Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and good fortune. The temple is a work of art and has a marvellous display of exquisite carvings and sculptures covering many mythological themes. The eye is drawn to the images of Laxmi and Narayan, carved as they are, from one piece of marble. The top of the temple has three domes, each representing the three religions followed in India. This is designed to pay homage to secular India. The temple looks spectacular at night when it is lit up. Other than the main temple, the complex has a museum that exhibits the earlier belongings of the Birla family.
Jal Mahal - One of the most wonderful sights in Jaipur is the beautiful Jal Mahal or Lake Palace. The light, sand coloured stone walls and the deep blue of the water make for a wonderful contrast. The palace appears to float in the centre of Man Sagar Lake, where its magnificent exteriors can be enjoyed by tourists.
Tumblr media
Gaitore Jaipur - Gaitore, one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Jaipur, is a royal cremation ground for the Kachhwaha Rajput kings and the members of the royal family. The word ‘Gaitore’ is believed to be a mispronounced form of the Hindi phrase, 'Gaye ka Thor’ which means 'resting place of the departed souls’. Located on a narrow valley on Jaipur-Amer road, this place is 15 km away from Jaipur. The valley has cenotaphs (chhatri) made of marble and sandstone with Rajastani carvings, dedicated to legendary kings who ruled Jaipur. A perfect blending of Islamic and Hindu temple architecture, Gaitore has cenotaphs of Sawai Ram Singh, Sawai Madho Singh and Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and so on. Among these kings, the cenotaph of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is quite impressive with its intricate peacock carvings and designs on beautiful white marble structure. It is said that the carvings on each cenotaph reflects the taste of the respective king. Read further to know more about Gaitore and its historic significance.
Sisodia Rani Palace and Garden – Sisodia Rani Palace and Garden is located 8 kilometres from Jaipur on the Agra road. Laid out in Mughal style, it is painted with the legends of Radha and Krishna. The garden is multi-tiered and has fountains, water courses and painted pavilions. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built it for his Sisodia queen.
Tumblr media
Govind Dev Ji Temple – The Krishna temple is a rare spire-less temple and houses the idol of Govind Devji that Sawai Jai Singh brought from Vrindavan. The deity, worshipped by the erstwhile royal family, is also revered by the the locals in the area.
Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple – Moti Doongri is a small hill around which the city of Jaipur flourishes. Moti Doongri means pearl hill, because the hill indeed resembles a pearl drop. Visitors go there to pay homage at the famous Ganesh temple, the most auspicious and important religious temple in Jaipur. The Ganesh temple was built by Seth Jai Ram Paliwal, sometime in the early 18th century. A legend goes, the King of Mewar was heading back to his palace after a long journey and was carting a massive Ganesh idol on a bullock cart. The king had decided that he would build a temple for the idol of Lord Ganesh wherever the bullock cart stopped. Apparently the cart stopped at the foot of the Moti Doongri, which is where the temple is situated today. The hill also has an exotic palace perched right on top. A replica of a Scottish castle, it was once the royal home of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh. It continues to belong to the royal family. The mere view of this castle is extremely exotic.
Tumblr media
Digamber Jain Mandir – The ancient Digamber Jain temple at Jaipur is in Sanganer, 14 km from the city. The principal idol in the Sanghiji Temple is of Lord Adinath in the Padmasan (lotus position) posture. The temple is made of red stone and has attractive carvings. The seven-storied temple has sky-high 'shikharas’ (spires) and its inner sanctum is a stone shrine with eight sky-high shikharas.
Galtaji Temple – Galtaji is an ancient pilgrimage centre in Jaipur. Set amidst low hills and packed with locals and tourists alike, the attractive spot has temples, pavilions and holy kunds (natural springs and water tanks). Visitors to Galtaji will come across the complex of Ramgopalji temple, locally called the Monkey temple (Galwar Bagh). It gets this moniker because of a large group of resident monkeys. The green landscape and chattering monkeys add to the delight of the area. On top of the hill is a small temple dedicated to the sun god, called the Surya Mandir. Constructed by Diwan Kriparam, the temple can be seen from anywhere in the city.
Tumblr media
Nahargarh Biological Park – Nahargarh Biological Park, a part of the Nahargarh sanctuary is located about 12 km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. It encompasses a large area of 720 hectares and is situated under the Aravalli range. The Park is famous for its vast flora and fauna, and its main aim is to conserve it. It also doubles up as a great place to educate people and conduct research on existing flora and fauna. At Nahargarh Biological Park, ornithologists can expect to see over 285 species of birds, of which, the most popular is the white-naped tit, which can only be found here. When you visit the Park, make sure you also head to Ram Sagar, which is a famous among bird watchers and makes for a great spot to catch different varieties of birds. Raj Mandir Cinema – One of the most famous spots in Jaipur is the Raj Mandir Cinema. A single-screen experience, done up with a royal and luxurious architecture, the cinema holds a special place in the Pink City. Watching a Hindi movie is an amazing experience at this cinema, and booking your seat in advance is always a good idea. It was established in 1976. An asymmetrical exterior design helps the theater stand apart. Inside, the extravagantly finished roof, grand chandeliers, and a rising staircase next to the lobby lend an old world charm to the place.Located just off MI road, a Jaipur trip cannot be considered complete without a visit to the Raj Mandir.

Remembering #Indurani, Actress & Singer of 1930's & 40's on her 95th birth anniversary. Ishrat Jehan Imamuddin aka Indurani was born in a middle class family of Delhi, on the 22nd of June, 1922. Her mother Munawar Jehan was one of the first female students of the then newly opened Hakim Ajmal Khan school of Jamia Millia University of Delhi. After graduating from the school as a Lady Doctor and Hakim, she had worked in the princely states of Zanzira and Tonk. Her father Shaikh Imamuddin was the owner of a fleet of 17 horse carriages (Victorias and tongas) and one of his contracts was for transporting female students to the Mission Girls Urdu School in Delhi. Therefore, Ishrat and her sisters Afroz and Roshan got a good education in that school. They were 7 children in all. Ishrat was the third child. Naseem Bano (whose real name was also Roshan)–the actress and the mother of Saira Bano–also studied in the same school for a short period. Ishrat’s sister Roshan was adventurous and she corresponded with a film studio and sent her photo. They wrote back offering her a job of Rs.300 per month. When their father came to know this, he first admonished and bashed her. At that time, due to his gambling habit, he was in debts and financial difficulties, so he thought that his daughters could earn money for him as film stars. sarojiniWhen Ishrat was about 12-13 years old and was studying in Eighth Standard, her father brought her and her elder sister Roshan Jehan to Poona to find work in films. Talkie films had just started and film makers were on the look out for good looking boys and girls who could speak Urdu/Hindi fluently. The sisters got work in Dadasaheb Torne’s Saraswati Cinetone. They both were renamed as Indurani (Ishrat Jehan) and Sarojini (Roshan Jehan). In those days, most Muslim artistes took Hindu names for obvious reasons. While in Poona, the sisters were getting Rs 300/- per month as salary. Their father took three months’ advance payments and left for Delhi, leaving the sisters in the care of their Nani (maternal grandmother). In Poona, they became quite friendly with a co-actor Vasantrao Pehelwan (who later did villain’s roles in Master Bhagwan’s stunt films). They called him ‘uncle’ ji. In Poona, Indurani first worked in a Marathi film called Savitri in a minor uncredited role of a younger sister. Unfortunately the Marathi film of Dadasaheb Torne flopped and his studio closed down. The sisters decided to shift to Bombay to seek work prospects. Vasantrao Pehelwan got them a flat on rent in Dadar’s Hindu Colony in Bombay. While in Bombay, Indurani got work in films of Daryani Productions like Fida E Watan (1936), Pratima (1936), Bulldog (1937) and Insaaf (1937). While doing films Pratima and Insaaf, she fell in love with her handsome co-star Prem Adeeb. However, when it became clear that he could not muster enough courage to marry her in opposition to his family (he was a Hindu Kashmiri Pandit and she was a Muslim), she refused to continue relations. She was a very strong woman indeed. Soon the word spread around that two sisters were available for work. The sisters did not know much of anything in Bombay and could not go anywhere. So producers came to them. First was V. Shantaram who offered Indurani a job at Rs.300 per month. She insisted that her sister and “Uncleji” should also get work. Shantaram agreed for Sarojini but refused Vasantrao Pehelwan, so the job did not materialize. “Uncleji” went away soon after that. One day Sohrab Modi and Keki Modi came looking for them. Sohrab Modi offered them contracts for Rs. 450 per month and invited them to the studio. When they reached Minerva Movietone, they saw Leela Chitnis smoking with a long holder. Young Indurani was impressed and also tried to copy her; but Sohrab Modi, who treated her like his daughter, told her that it did not suit her and she gave up. One day Ramniklal Shah of Mohan Pictures and his friend Nanabhai Bhatt (father of Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt) came calling. By that time Nanabhai Bhatt had already got involved with his star Shirin Bano. Ramniklal offered them a salary of Rs. 500 per month. This was more than Minerva, so the offer was accepted but in the process Indurani lost her chance to work in a prestigious company like Minerva. Their old schoolmate Naseem Bano was at Minerva and came to prominence with the film Pukar (1939) made by Minerva. The sisters did not have anyone to advise them, so they lost their chances at Prabhat and Minerva. Thus from 1938 onwards, Ramniklal Shah took them under his wings. At the age of 17 in 1939 Indurani married Ramniklal Shah, secretly. Her elder sister Sarojini also married Nanubhai Vakil, the lead director of Mohan Pictures (Azra is their daughter). Indurani had six children. One of them died at birth. The shock was too much for her and after 1943, her career started slowing down. By 1949, her last film was released. In my opinion, Indurani was a “one of a kind” woman. In those days and for her age, she showed exemplary planning, foresight and had the right priorities for her future. Being from an educated family, she knew and understood the importance of education. She ensured that all her children got the best possible education to enable them to lead comfortable lives. Her children went to the prestigious missionary school in Santa Cruz, The Sacred Boys’ High School. Saira Bano’s brother Sultan, Shashadhar Mukherjee’s sons Rono, Joy, Debu and Shomu Mukherjee, as well as Milan Roy Choudhary (Geeta Dutt’s younger brother) also studied in the same school. All her children settled successfully in the United States. She understood the three basics of life: food, shelter and clothing. She did work in double shifts and saved enough money to build her own bungalow in Santa Cruz (a western suburb of Bombay) in 1940–at the age of about 18 years! In a front page story, The Times of India called her the youngest house owner in Bombay in those days. The house was designed by the famous architect Noorani. She also saved enough to spend her twilight years happily. She spent her last 35 years in the US, enjoying life with her entire family. This, when we have hundreds of stories of artistes who died in penury and neglect! Salim ji has many stories, anecdotes and interesting tidbits from the Bombay film world of those days. Indurani’s brother Naseem Siddiqui was a producer and a director of films made by Mohan Pictures. His friend Hasan Sehrai was a dialogue writer and editor of a film magazine called “Kahkashan”. Lyricist Shevan Rizvi was also his friend. Naseem Siddiqi’s younger sister Shirin got married to Hasan Sehrai. Indurani’s sister Sarojini (Roshan Jehan) worked in films at the same time. She worked in about 17 films according to the Hindi Film Geet Kosh (HFGK) and sang a few songs. Sarojini and Indurani worked together in three films, namely Jadui Kangan (1940), Hatimtai Ki Beti (1940) and Tajmahal (1941). Indurani acted in 21 (including 1 Marathi) films according to HFGK and as researched by both Salim ji and Harish ji. Her Filmography is given at the end; please note that she was credited variously as Indu, Indurani and also as Indubala. There was another Indubala also, but she worked in films made in Calcutta and by Calcutta producers. Those films are excluded from this list, based on Salim ji’s information. Indurani worked with several well known heroes of her times, like Prem Adeeb, Jayant, Jeevan, Yaqub, Mubarak, Sushil Kumar, Yusuf Efendi, Nazir, Navin Yagnik, Yashwant Dave etc. She had good directors for her films, like G.R. Sethi, Ram Daryani, Dwarka Khosla, J.P. Advani, K. Amarnath, Mohan Sinha, and Nanubhai Vakil. She had training in classical music while she worked in Daryani productions and with this background, she sang two songs each in three films. She sang four songs under the baton of Anil Biswas and two under Madholal Master. Both Ramniklal Shah and Indurani were very generous and helpful in nature. When child artist Meena Kumari was in financial distress and her father approached Ramnikbhai, without thinking he gave Rs. 5000 and never asked for its return. Meena Kumari never forgot this kind gesture and always respected Ramnikbhai. inger-actress Nirmala Devi was Indurani’s friend and her husband (actor Govinda’s father) Arun Ahuja was her “Rakhi Brother”. When the Ahuja family lost everything, it was Indurani who paid for their monthly expenses for two months. Later the Ahujas sold their house in Juhu and shifted to Virar, but they paid back all the money to Indurani. Exactly opposite was was the case of director-producer-actor Nazir and his wife, actress Swarnalata (a Siyal Jat Sikh from Rawalpindi). They visited Indurani in their Rolls Royce, borrowed some money from her and then, within few days, quietly migrated to Pakistan, without repaying the amount. In the early 1960s, Salim ji and other siblings one by one left for America for studies, and then all settled in the US. Ramnikbhai Shah died in 1973. Later Indurani also shifted to the US and stayed with her sons by turns. She spent her time happily with twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Indurani died in the US on February 17, 2012 at the ripe age of 90 years, after a fruitful and contented life. Her grave is in the Ventura County, California town of Camarillo. I just read this tweet about Victoria and immediatly thought "it's really not her year but as the same time..."
https://twitter.com/SYoungAgency/status/1447495878391083013?t=LRzdBLFW2YurLyI4bHsSNg&s=19
- she learnt about all the Luke's lies
- she can't help her brother even with the new informations she has
- she learnt that wendy is also a big liar
- daddy posner was around and shot david
- she wants to be with David, told him her feelings for him but he said "nope, nope, the plot wants me to be with meena"
- meena hates her and wants to kill her
- diane is leaving
- accident of kayak in the spoilers photos.
What's next for her?
What's next for her is that she's going to live her best life with David and their two boys! Jacob fucks off to Portugal to go annoy his mum, Meena goes to kill Andrea before going out in a blaze of glory (but unfortunately doesn't kill her but kills Ben instead - that we're all SO SAD about) and then maybe next year she and David will have another kid. And Robert comes home and so does Seb and everyone lives happily ever after.

After years of preparation, Amazon has finally launched its same-day Prime Now delivery service in Singapore.
The service brings two-hour, and even one-hour deliveries, for tens of thousands of household items, from eggs and cold beer to diapers and detergent.
SEE ALSO: Amazon Prime Day: Amazons not-so-secret plan to rule the retail world
To achieve the rapid delivery times, Amazon’s opened its largest Prime Now warehouse to date, at 100,000 square feet of space near the Jurong district.
Image: VICTORIA HO/MASHABLE
This is Amazon’s largest Prime Now warehouse, at 100,000 square feet.
The hotly anticipated launch lit up social media this week, as chatter grew about the service coming to rival local incumbents, as well as China’s Alibaba, which recently bought a presence here by scooping up Southeast Asia’s Lazada.
Eventually, the cat was out of the bag after people spotted the Prime Now app becoming available on Wednesday.
On Thursday morning, staff shuffled between shelves bagging and packing sundries, ready to send them out.
Outside the warehouse, vans from local third party logistics provider Ninja Van waited to help make sure the big day went well.

Amazon’s Singapore country leader for Prime Now, Sebastien Bruchet, told Mashable that Amazon plans to rely on third party delivery services, across vans and cars, for the moment here. If the service really takes off, it may consider investing in building out its own delivery system, similar to what it’s done in the U.S., he said.
But unlike its U.S. warehouses, which deploy robots to shuffle shelves around and locate goods, the Singapore warehouse relies on humans, who do everything from placing goods on a shelf, to picking them out and sending your parcel on its way.

Image: VICTORIA HO/MASHABLE
Amazon has a reported 45,000 robots in 20 of its warehouses globally, which look like large Roombas and help to carry shelves of goods around so human sorters can find what they need faster.
Years of false starts
This launch is a triumph for Amazon, which has for years mulled entering Southeast Asia.
It encountered several delays in recent years, while aggressive competitors overtook it here. Alibaba decided to come in in April last year, by way of a $1 billion investment into Rocket Internet’s Lazada, which dominates Southeast Asia.
It must have seen more potential, because it put in another $1 billion in June, raising its stake in the Singapore-headquartered firm to 83 percent.
Xiaofeng Wang, senior analyst at Forrester, said Singapore’s westernised and affluent consumer base made Singapore an obvious launching pad for Amazon’s ambitions in the region.
Amazon is carrying its AmazonBasics house brand in Singapore, too.
Image: VICTORIA HO/MASHABLE
Still, Alibaba’s first mover advantage means it has better understanding of the demands and buying behaviour of local customers, as well as its existing relationships with logistics vendors, she said.
Singapore’s mobile-savvy population of 5.5 million presents a pretty decent opportunity for Amazon. But there’s far more that lies ahead in the 600 million in its neighbouring countries.
The growing middle class is estimated to reach 400 million in 2020, up from 190 million in 2012, according to Nielsen figures. That, combined with rapid adoption of smartphones and digital spending, means e-commerce is set to skyrocket.

A research paper by Google and Temasek Holdings estimates online spending in the region will grow to $88 billion in 2025 more than 10 times the $5.5 billion spent in 2015.
Satish Meena, senior forecast analyst at Forrester, noted that Amazon was able to capture significant market share in India in just three years.
“We expect that this will be the start of a direct face-off between Amazon and Alibaba in Asia.”

I just saw the scene when Wendy made this comment. First, the way Diane screamed when she hurt her ankle was funny. Two, you were right, the comment was supposed to be a joke but it's coming from a character who helped destroying the life of her patient's step-son so it's weird. Three, i wish Diane would react to it but it's like nothing happened between the posner and the sugden. Again, it's like Wendy didn't lied recently to Victoria and Diane isn't related to her or to Robert. It was just a joke between two good friends.
I wish the producers would be more rigorous with their storylines. Diane wouldn't joke with a woman who just betrayed vic for example, especially because she also was one of the reasons her family suffered so much a few years ago. Like Jacob, i thought he didn't like Meena. And like liv who suddenly started to hate on Robert when he left while she was heartbreaking to loose him (i still think she is and can imagine he asked her to do that). It's really about plot but it doesn't feel natural. It was awkward. But the scene, when we try to ignore all of these details, is nice. It just seems to be out of place coming from wendy. I wish bob would say that instead of her.
yeah but bob isn't the (soon to be) only medical professional left standing in the village. And you know how *desperate* wendy was to be a nurse! She lied about who she was and about stealing drugs because she just HAD to be a nurse! and it will have 0 consequences because liam decided she could stay after she was nice to him that one time 🙄

Indurani died in the US on February 18, 2012 at the ripe age of 90 years, after a fruitful and contented life. Her grave is in the Ventura County, California town of Camarillo.
