you know the whole seven degrees of separation thing might not be that far off because my connection to the arizona coyotes *shudders* and hockey in general is that i once had to dog-sit for the son of the guy who owned the team before they filed for bankruptcy and were sold to the nhl because, and i shit you not, the dude was drunk off his ass at one of daddy’s properties and nearly lost his phone to several hundred feet of water and after the bartender cut him off despite his best efforts to play the “my dad owns this place” card, he stormed off and stole a golf cart and left his poor dog behind in the care of me and two of my friends and we (still in high school) were like fuck we gotta go find jerry’s kid and return the dog
