Underrated/ Overlooked Movies:

SUNSHINE (2007)

Danny Boyle’s channels remnants of Solaris and 2001: A Space Odyssey in his breathtakingly dark take on science fiction all while pulling astounding and ( at times) heartbreaking performances from Cillian Murphy, Rose Byrne,  Michelle Yeoh and more. With (like it or not) splashes of horror, environmental commentary and sci-fi action, SUNSHINE is exactly what I imagine “space” to be…frightening,bleak and beautiful.
