i was at my cousin's birthday party (for children) and they had a trivia but for whichever one got right, they'd get a LOT of money.

so, one of the questions was "which planet has rings?" NATURALLY my dumbass raised my hand and said "neptune, jupiter, saturn, and uranus" BUT the moment i said neptune, the emcee cut me off and said "wrong." BEFORE I COULD EVEN FINISH MY ANSWER. and everyone laughed at me and i was humiliated but she walked away before i could clarify. SO. i spent rest of the night ranting to my cousin about how and why all the gas giants have rings and plotting the murder of this emcee.

I’m starting the Octavian and Michale Kahale quest fanfic, but, how do we think Auguries feel? Like I’m really trying to consider this because obviously we never see it too well, and what we do see is like?

Octavian cutting open the stuffed animal, muttering something and being like “rad alright your golden” to Percy about joining but like?

What’s actually going on here? How like- hhhhhhhhhh. Also while I’m at it how was he in contact with Apollo? Does that ever get answered because I don’t think it could’ve been through his Haruspex/Auguring? Like-

There’s just so much Octavian stuff and so little to explain it. I might just make it like, super duper toned down Oracle because, he’s not an oracle but I still wanna give my silly little boy something that makes him ominous other than towering over everyone and like everything else Octavian has going for him.

But anyway expect the first bit of the Octavian Michael quest story soon! I don’t think it’ll be too long but I’ll honestly just have to see lol?

Helped paint a blacktop today for an elementary school ! Me and my bsf did Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn ^_^

if I were a K-12 science educator, one of the activities I would do with my students is making constellations. I’d print out star maps with the brightest stars in our region and have my students make their own constellations and create stories about those constellations. I’d then use it as a way to talk about how different civilizations around the world had stories that were important to their ideologies as well as using the stars to tell the passage of time and when to plant/harvest. then I’d transition to how constellations are used today to map regions of the sky and for locating deep space objects

and if possible I’d try to take all of them out someplace and look at the stars so they can try to find their constellations and look at cool things with telescopes

HOW THE FUCK DID I JUST NOW REALISE THAT..... people should stop wearing diamond rings, especially for marriage 😭. So many people keep on wearing diamond rings when they have a weak, afflicted or debilitated Venus, and that causes problems in their marriage, because wearing the gemstone of a planet that is weak in your chart is like, inviting an enemy to your house, now that is your enemy, so it'll obviously cause problems related to that thing and people just thoughtlessly wear it even when it's not good for them. Only wear diamond, if Venus is strong in your chart. This goes for emerald as well, if you have a weak, afflicted, or debilitated Mercury, then don't wear it. (That is why the Indian concept of mangalsutra is the best) also, the reason why in india gold is the only jewellery given as gifts.

My mom has a debilitated Jupiter, and this stupid astrologer told her to wear a yellow sapphire ring, and....yeah. It did not work well, so now she wears red coral and her business has been going so good, she makes so much profit.
