˖ ˚⋆🎀I got into the void state twice!!

The first time

The very first time i got into the void state was last night. I listened to a subliminal (i’ll link it at the end) and counted down from 12 and visualized each number in my head, and then i counted down from 13 normally (I forgot what it’s called but ya) and that calmed me down a lot.

From there I did robotic affirmations 10 each and then switching to a different one. After about 15 ish minutes I got into the void state, and I was so happy that I js kinda chilled there for another 15 minutes before I came out of it to watch a class of 09 play through🫶

The second time

The second time was literally like an hour ago at the time of me posting this. I did the exact same thing I did last night but it took me a little longer because of the position I was in and I was a lot more awake. (limits I unintentionally put on myself from 2020 shiftok, i’m trying to get rid of💔)

I was about half way in the void state and half still in my physical body, and then my mom called me to tell me she and my dad would be at my grandmas soon to get us, and to tell my brother.

Let me tell you, getting thrown out of the void state suddenly, and then being expected to walk around and form sentences is NOT for the weak. I literally almost collapsed trying to walk 2 doors down to my cousins room to get my brother. But it was fun regardless, and now I 100% know for sure that it’s possible. I always thought it was possible but without ever doing it a person has some doubts yk?

in my mind the way i would want a bbc merlin reboot to happen is just if they kind of did the show again but this time in the modern day. like arthur is the son of a ceo and expected to take over as head of his father's company, and merlin sees him in the newspapers one day as the media starts reporting on the changing of the guard and goes oh fuck oh god. and he manages to get his way into a position as arthur's secretary or some shit and has to pretend like he doesn't know this guy at all, like he hasn't been waiting for him for centuries, but he kind of isn't pretending because he doesn't know this arthur, not really. but maybe merlin and arthur being reunited is causing the veil to thin, and there's magic causing mayhem throughout london, and merlin has to try and fix all of that while also getting arthur's starbucks order. hello the bbc why isn't anyone getting on this

doing chibi is a good design exercise bc it forces u to think on shapes n essential details, essentially thumbnailing ur designs. its also a terrible design exercise bc it ends up looking cute no matter what

You ever just get a bit tired of the batfamily being dumb?

Sure I appreciate a good “Danny is weird and the Bats try to figure out his deal and draw wrong conclusions based on incomplete evidence” fic as much as the next guy, and I’m definitely not saying not to write them

But the thing is, they’re all really smart. It’s their whole thing, they’re a family of detectives that dress up in colorful costumes and fight crime, but detectives nonetheless

And I get it’s for humorous effect to have otherwise intelligent people be incredibly dumb about one thing, but it’d just be nice to see them be smart sometimes. Even in a fic where they’re drawing the wrong conclusions, it’d be nice to see them use their detective skills

Like build a case so solid Danny questions whether they’re actually right about him and if he’s just confused

Or just apply it to more conventional situations/crimes

Because frankly it’s funnier if you show they’re smart before having them do something really stupid

If you build them up a bit, then it’s funnier when they fall down.
