A/N: in honour of irene’s birthday, i decided to write a little fic. there will be a new section in the scrubber masterlist for all the blurbs about cute moments with scrubber and the girls! i hope you enjoy 🫶🏼
Your calendar was very significant. You marked off your birthday, upcoming matches, Christmas, but most importantly… all your big sisters’ birthdays. Each of their birthdays were marked on your calendar in pink glittery gel pen.
You were giddy the night before their birthdays, probably even more excited than they were. Tonight, it was Irene’s big day that you were looking forward to as you laid on your bed stomach-first, filling in a card you made yourself.
Birthdays were a big deal for you because it was probably the most appropriate time to tell someone just how much you loved them.
Your captain was a very special woman. She was your second mother, mentor, and friend, all in one. Everyone needed an Irene in their life, but unfortunately there was just one, and not-so-unfortunately, she ended up with you and your team.
Those were the words you wrote on her card before sealing it in the envelope. With a smile, you placed it on top of the neatly wrapped gift stashed in your closet… that was piled on top of what looked like a dozen more.
The morning of the 4th of July, you were up before Irene. Carefully and quietly, without hitting the walls with your tower of gifts, you walked out of your bedroom with them and placed them on the coffee table. You placed your card in front of them and scrambled to the fridge to pull out the cake you made for her.
You weren’t a professional baker, but you knew how to make simple things like a cake. Irene loved red velvet cake, so when you stacked it all together with a homemade cream cheese frosting you had worked all week on (almost) perfecting, the end product was a birthday cake. You decorated it with the help of Fridolina, using sprinkles and cake toppers she had chosen, then two big ‘3’ candles right in the middle.
You were proud of your cake, even if it wasn’t the best. You figured that it would be nice to test out your baking skills instead of buying a red velvet cake that already cost you an arm and a leg without extra decorations.
Your culinary creations didn’t stop there. Next on the menu was french toast that you dusted with powdered sugar, drizzled with maple syrup, and garnished with strawberries and blueberries. It made you feel like a proper chef, and once you finished constructing your meal, you looked at it in pride. It almost looked good enough to go in your stomach.
“Irene,” you whispered, nudging her bedroom door open as you carried her breakfast and a cup of coffee into her room, on a tray. Your grin was hardly containable.
She rolled over, looking at you through squinted eyes. Her expression brightened and her eyes widened when she realised what was happening, and she sat up while a smile flashed across her face.
“Meu nenita, moltes gràcies,” she replied, her smile widening as you placed the tray on her lap and put the coffee on her bedside table.
“After you eat, come to the living room. I have to give you something!” you chimed, skipping out of the room and leaving the woman to eat her food.
When she emerged out of her room, you were standing in front of your gift tower with your arms behind your back and a beaming smile on your face. You moved to the side, gesturing to your gifts. “Surprise! Feliz cumple, hermana!”
Irene gasped quietly, placing a hand on her chest as she looked at you in surprise. Before even paying another thought to her gifts, she pulled you into a tight hug, squeezing you gently. “Nenita, you didn’t have to. How did you get all of this– no, how did you hide all of this?”
“I can’t tell you that,” you responded, “I’ll have to do it again next year. Open the card!”
You picked up the envelope and handed it to her, almost bouncing off the walls in excitement. She tore it open carefully and pulled out the card, taking a minute to read it before lowering it and looking at you with glossy eyes.
‘Dear Irene,
From the very first day I played with you in Barça, I’ve seen you as a second mother to me, away from my home. Not only do you take care of me and let me live under your roof, but you inspire me and teach me to be better than what I am capable of, on and off the pitch. I am lucky to spend my days with you; a beautiful, loving, and talented person. Being under your guidance and having you by my side during every game has made me the player I am today and I will always be grateful for having you in my life now, and hopefully forever.
Feliz cumpleaños, hermana! T'estimo per sempre.’
You were the one to initiate the hug as you wrapped your arms around her. She was quick to react and do the same, embracing you affectionately. “T’estimo, meu hermanita,” she mumbled.
Once you had pulled away, your grin hadn’t faltered one bit. “When all of the girls get here, we can have cake!”
“What do you mean, all of the girls?” Irene questioned, raising an eyebrow.
“Y’know, all the girls. Alexia, Mapi, Frido, Ingrid– who else.. oh, Caro, Marta, Aitana, Lucy and Ona,” you answered, “Now go on, go get ready. The icing is going to start melting!”

Character Intro: Philia (Kingdom of Ichor)
Nicknames- Lia by her friends and family
Age- 12 (immortal)
Location- Hearthwood neighborhood, New Olympus
Personality- She's socially oriented, outgoing, charismatic, & personally gregarious. She finds it rather easy to jump from one social group to another. On the other hand, she can be quite emotionally immature at times- finding herself becoming quickly attached to almost anyone new she meets.
She has the standard abilities of a goddess except shapeshifting. As the goddess of friendship her other powers/abilities include limited photokinesis, limited aura manipulation, & friendship manipulation- the ability to create and manipulate bonds of friendship in people, beings, & animals.
Philia is the second oldest child of Pathos (god of emotion) and also another mortal to be elevated to godhood by apotheosis.
For as long as she can remember, she's been a part of the department of family & children services. Lia was given up as a newborn and has no knowledge of her birth parents. She's been shuffled from family to family- the hopes of becoming a permanent member of one seemingly out of reach. Lia would sometimes have major emotional outbursts whenever it was time to leave a family. When news came to her of finally becoming adopted, she quickly jumped at the chance! Lia describes hugging her father for the first time as "coming home."
She now lives with her family- her father & siblings Philautia (goddess of self love), Xenia (goddess of hospitality), and little brother Storge at their home in the Hearthwood neighborhood of New Olympus.
Lia's bedroom is covered in floor-to-ceiling wallpaper that has a pattern of bright blue, yellow, & green butterflies. There's also a reading nook, string lights, a trundle bed, and brightly painted dressers that's always decorated with vases filled with fresh flowers.
She loves whenever her dad has time to make breakfast- enjoying his fluffy buttermilk pancakes (which she drowns in honey), scrambled eggs (added with feta cheese & onions), bacon, and warm buttery tiropsomo. Lia's usual go-to breakfast is a bowl of Golly Grains cinnamon crunch cereal along with a cup of Earthly Harvest vanilla yogurt (topped with lemon jam). She'll also toast a few frozen blueberry waffles then top them with butter & syrup before eating.
Lia is a HUGE fan of scrapbooking. She has a small collection of scrapbooks in her closet with one of them being filled with pictures of previous foster families.
A go-to drink for her is the homemade hibiscus iced tea her father makes. She also likes berry mix juice, coconut water, lemonade, fruit punch, and cream soda. She also likes the rainbow milkshake as well as the frosted lemonade milkshake from The Frozen Spoon as well as a small iced tea from The Roasted Bean.
Lia is a frequenter of a craft store in downtown New Olympus where she buys lanyard string by the bulk. She can do various designs with her favorite being using the lanyard string to make intricate friendship bracelets.
Her favorite thing to get from The Bread Box is the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich along with honey barbeque sweet potato chips.
Lia has a great relationship with her family. She appreciates the fact that her dad looks up how to do hairstyles (even if he fails at them). She thinks that her big sis Philautia is the most beautiful being she's ever seen & appreciates her passing down her knowledge and artistry of make-up. Her and Xenia often go to the library together & she's always showering Storge with kisses.
She loves snacking on roasted pumpkin seeds.
Lia will usually wear her hair in twist outs, ponytails, pigtails, and various braiding styles (done professionally at a salon). When doing her hair on her own she loves using the Glory's Crown twist elongating styling cream, the goddess strength edge control gel, & the ambrosia honey pomade.
A favorite frozen treat of hers is the berry mix sorbet (made with strawberries, blueberries, & raspberries). She always gets an olympian sized cup at The Frozen Spoon.
Lia is a pretty good academic student- particularly excelling in literature, biology, and Old Greek language class.
At school she doesn't belong to one social group. She effortlessly moves from one clique to another. Lia's especially cool with Deucalion, Achelois (goddess of the moon & comfort), and even the sixth graders E.B & Krysothemis (Kristy)- kids of Karmanor (demi-god of the harvest), who's a family friend. She's aware of the other godly students in school like Thespios (god of acting), Anaideia (goddess of ruthlessness, shamelessness, & unforgiveness), Dysis (goddess of the sunset), Calocagathia (Aggie) (goddess of nobility & goodness), Epidotes (god of purity), Pandia (goddess of the full moon), Telete (goddess of prayers), Pompe (goddess of rites), and Thrasos (god of boldness, insolence, recklessness, & courage).
Two of her most favorite desserts are her dad's flan and the lemon meringue cupcakes from Hollyhock's Bakery.
When she turns sixteen (the legal age of adulthood in Olympius) she'll be able to access the records about her birth parents.
At Confection Carousel, she loves getting a bag of lemonade stand saltwater taffy- which contains an assortment of flavors like cherry limeade, peach lemonade, regular lemonade, & pink lemonade.
In the pantheon Lia admires Thalia (muse of comedy); loves watching her videos on PanopTube, Eudaimonia (goddess of happiness); was estatic to learn that she'd be her mentor, Hestia (goddess of the hearth), Iris (goddess of the rainbow), Karme (demi-goddess of the harvest), Leto (Titaness of demurity & motherhood), and Kéfi (goddess of mirth).
It's no surprise that she's on the hunt for a new mother. Lia tagged along with her older sister in helping their father create a profile for a dating app.
She's also friends with the kids in a family of mortals who are the next door neighbors at the vacation home in Mykonos.
In her free time Lia enjoys doing lanyard, basketball, playing video games, listening to music (her faves being M9, Eurydice, & Summerstar), reading (her fave being comic books), jump rope, bike riding, roller skating, football (soccer), cooking, baking, drawing, and spending time with friends & family.
Her all time favorite meal is her dad's spanokopita-style baked mac n' cheese along with grilled chicken.

Dragie and Kitty Adventure Book 1- Version Two
The Food from Planet Tuun
On a sunny day in July, Kitty was looking out the window. Dragie had gone off to find some dragon food and told Kitty to wait for him. Kitty knew that when Dragie found food it was always exotic. Pineapples, blueberries, crepes (which are very thin pancakes basically), tuna, chicken, but the one thing that Kitty could count on was the fact that Dragie always seemed to know what Kitty would like.
As time goes on for ages, (not really ages but when you are only a few inches tall it seems longer), Dragie flies through the room carrying four plates piled high with food. Each plate had different types of food on them. One of the plates had dinner foods on it; things like steak, ramen, chicken, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, fish, fries and tater tots, and even rice with cream wontons, and everything else that you could think of to have for dinner. Another plate has light but filling lunch food, such as; sandwiches of many different kinds including subs, salads, soup and stews, meat pies and hot pockets, tuna, even some tomatoes and other vegetables as well. The third plate had breakfast food on it. So things like omelettes, bacon, sausages, toast (of many kinds), crepes and pancakes, a mix of many different kinds of cereals, fruits of many kinds, bagels and English muffins, butter of many kinds, cream cheese, olives and other vegetables, as well as pop-tarts and doughnuts. The last plate is a dessert platter. There are many types of cheese and crackers, fudge, ice cream in little tart cups, creme brulee, tiramisu, wafer rolls, chips and dip, hummus, dates and figs, snack mixes, chocolate (everything that has chocolate; so chocolate bars and truffles, to candy bars and everything in between), candy, and many other desserts. Dragie lands perfectly beside Kitty and nudges him with his tail.
"I have brought food," Dragie says with a smile.
Kitty turns and looks at Dragie, with his arms full of plates. "So I see." As Kitty takes a blueberry off one of the plates and pops it in his mouth.
Dragie places the food down on the sparkly clean floor and takes a large rib piece and begins to eat it. Kitty begins to ponder what would be the best drinks for washing down the food. He walks to the mini fridge, sensing that Dragie was watching his every move, pausing in his eating, opens the door and peers in. He pulls out some fruit juices, milk (many different kinds, all types of nut juice and whole milk), water, soda, and many other drinks like cold brew coffee and the syrups to flavour the milk. He walks back to Dragie and places the drinks down. Dragie smiles and goes back to eating his tender rib. Kitty walks a few rooms away and Dragie frowns.
Kitty has always been the one to not eat that much. It is not that he can't eat, cause he can eat a lot. It is just that he doesn't want to eat. Dragie does not like when Kitty does things like this, it makes him sad. But little does Dragie know that Kitty is making homemade tea and lemonade. Dragie leaves his post around the food in search to see what Kitty is doing, hesitant he may be.
Dragie flys through rooms slowly in search for Kitty. After the first couple of rooms, Dragie gets nervous and scared. 'Where is Kitty?' he thought frantically. He was flying faster now. He enters the kitchen so lost in his fear and thoughts, that he forgot to watch out where he was flying. Oh no! He'll fly into kitty squeezing some lemons if he is not careful. A small humming filled the air. 'I know that song! That is one of the native American songs that Kitty sings when working. It means that he is close!' He breaks from his thoughts and sees Kitty soon enough so that he could do a nose dive and fly up sharply. When he does this, he flies so close to Kitty that it causes to make a shocked kitty sound. The sound sounds exactly like a young kitten who is able to explore the house alone but while still trying to walk.
Dragie lands next to Kitty, watching Kitty finish making the lemonade. Dragie than takes Kitty and tosses him on his back and with his talons as he grasps the tea and lemonade. He flies fast back to where the plates lay making Kitty eek, he gently places the drinks down and takes Kitty of his back. The look on Kitty's face from flying so high is priceless and he laughs. A full belly laugh, a bit rough from the lack of laughing a lot. Kittys dishevelled look; hair spiked up and whiskers pulled back. This made him look like what would happen if Albert Einstein became Meowbert Stein. Kitty's eyes are wide open but not from his own choosing.
Kitty shakes and his appearance becomes fluffier but at least more like his normal self. "Sorry," Dragie says as he tries to hide his toothy grin. Kitty shakes again, making him return to his normal self completely.
"It's okay." As Kitty tries to fix his bangs from falling in front of his face.
Dragie puts a paw on Kittys. "Stop it, you look cute." Kitty huffs but leaves it. "But now time to eat. "
Kitty looks at all the food and then looks at Dragie. Dragie grabs a crepe and begins to munch on it. Sensing Kitty watching him, he turns his head. Drool is falling in large raindrops on the floor because Dragie loves crepes. Dragie is also looking at Kitty basically saying in little words, eat.
Kitty slowly puts a paw on a cream cheese wonton, never loses eyesight with Dragie. Then quickly puts one end of it in his mouth. Dragie smiles and looks away to get another crepe. Kitty woofs down the rest of the wonton and then reaches for a sausage link and brings it to his lips. Before he can wrap his kitty mouth around the sausage he feels himself being pushed by something. He looks up at Dragie who is eating a bear patty sandwich but shows no sign of using his tail to bring Kitty closer to him. Kitty looks over his shoulder and sees Dragies spiked tail wrapped around him. By the time that he looks up again, and he is next to Dragie, who is looking down at Kitty smiling.
Kitty puts his sausage in his mouth and munches away at it. Dragie reaches for some blueberries. Each one sticking on his claws on his left hand. He bites the blueberries sliding them slowly off his claws, trying not to have the juice down his scales.
A knock sounds at the Kitty and Dragie cave. Kitty and Dragie look at each other, food in both of their mouths. Dragie curls his tail closer to Kitty when Kitty tries to walk closer to the entrance of the cave. Kitty swallows his food and says, "what if something is hurt? We have to save it, Dragie." Dragie nods and walks slowly towards the cave entrance. Protecting Kitty the entire way with his tail. Eventually, they both reach the door. Kitty reaches out and opens the door. A small spiked creature about the same size as an hedgehog runs past Kitty and Dragie.
"Thank you for letting me out of that strange place. It was too cozy from what I am used to." The hedgehog says.
"Welcome," Dragie says.
"Where are you from?" Kitty askes with curiousity.
"I come from a planet called Tuun. My spaceship and I were on a way to a party on Earth for a couple of friends called," He pauses and pulls out these two long rods, sorta like shower rods, and types a few things on them. A hologram appears in between the rods. "Dragie and Kitty. But I seemed to have miscalcuated my route."
"You came down here to throw a party for us?" Dragie asked.
"Are you the ones who were playing in the field several t P today?"
"tP? What is that?" Kitty asked
"t P is the Planck Time. It is how is my people measure time."
"Oh. Well yes, it was our time for some sunshine." Kitty said.
"I have some very fine food from my home planet for you."
"Oooh, food." Dragie says with drool coming out of his mouth.
A flash of light and a whole bunch of food appeared. Dragie took something that looked like trout from the pile and began to eat it. Kitty took a flower that looked like clover and ate it. Before they could thank the small being and even ask if he would like to join them, they heard a loud whirring sound. The both ran towards the window to see a spaceship lift from the air. "I hope you both enjoy the food and the rest of your beautiful day!" A voice calls from the spaceship before it was gone.
"We didn't even to thank him or ask for his name." Kitty said.
"It's okay Kitty, I have a feeling that we will meet him again." Dragie says as he puts a paw on Kitty's shoulders.
The sun begins to fade on another eventful day from the pages of the Dragie and Kitty Adventures.

Character inspired meals: supernatural
Starter: Caesar Salad - Romaine lettuce
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sam~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dessert: Dairy free Strawberry cheesecake -
parmesan cheese, crisp croutons, caesar salad dressing
Main: American Pasta Salad - Bow-tie pasta, feta cheese, sweet basil, sliced black olives, halved grape tomatoes and it should have creamy balsamic dressing BUT I hate balsamic dressing so no.
Crust = raw pecan, almond flour, cinnamon, coconut oil & a tiny bit of salt. Filling = raw cashew, canned coconut milk but I'd assume lactose free would also work, (I say this because I HATE coconut milk) fresh lemon juice, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and a shit ton of strawberries. Sam has joked about being lactose intolerant before and true or not i am and id like to have these meals plus Dairy free options are usually more healthy and that's probably what same would go for. While there is cheese in the first two, it's only a little and we'd be fine but a cheese cake? No way, but I love cheesecake so we're gonna make it safe for us lol
Drink: Fresh apple juice.

Main: Kansas style Hunter’s chicken -
Starter: Mozzarella sticks - Mozzarella cheese and bread cumbs, no surprises in that. Anyway, in 15×10, Dean finds out he is also lactose intolerant but canon aside, he is DEFINITELY the type to say fuck it and eat anything anyway no matter the cost and mozzarella sticks slap so who cares? Not us. Mozzarella sticks are a classic starter but If you think that they're too light, even though it's a starter and its ment to be light, you could always go for my personal homemade tomato soup - Canned tomatoes, All purpose flour, fresh cream, butter, sugar, salt, pepper and I tend to top it off with basil or parsley. Dean mentions in a flashback that Mary would make tomato soup all the time when he was little so it's why it came to mind.
Kansas barbecue sauce, olive oil, finely chopped onions, chicken breast , tomato paste, bacon, grated cheddar, lettuce, chopped cucumber
Chopped radishes with lemon juice drizzled over it and a dash of black pepper, served with bread to eat the left of over sauce with. I recommend tiger bread. I thought this would work for dean cos it's 2 types of meat, it's messy and he feels like the kinda person to hear 'Kansas style' and go nuts for it.
Dessert: Apple cinnamon pie - Filling = Apples, golden caster sugar, cinnamon & flour. Pastry = butter more golden caster sugar, eggs & plain flour. Not much suprise here either. Dean's food needs are simple. I know y'all want me to say cherry pie but the meal I've made would go better with apple as a nice pallet clean. This is accidentally a very American meal but fun fact, Apple pie first originated in England, where it developed from culinary influences from France, the Netherlands, the Ottoman Empire and apple trees weren't even native to America until europeans arrived so idk why y'all decide to take it as if you did something here. Y'all did nothing here, that pie is my blood not yours. 😤 /hj Anyway, all this to say, apple pie will taste better with this and also gives a hint of Men of letters to the meal.
Drink: Cola. Simple man, simple needs.

Starter: PBJ mini parfait - yogurt, crunchy peanut butter, granola & strawberries. The jam is made of frozen mixed berries (like blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries, redcurrants, strawberries ect), chia seeds, orange juice & maple syrup. Because cas canonically likes PB&J & i think mini parfait are neat.
Main: American style honey & banana pancakes with vanilla ice cream on the side - Honey for the bee obsession, bananas for the monkey obsession he also has the the same episode but people over look that part. "How important is lipstick to you, Dean?", American style pancakes are fluffy like angel wings lol and vanilla ice cream also reminds me of angels, i cannot elaborate on it, it just does.
Drink: Butterfly pea flower tea latte - cashew milk, blue butterfly pea flower powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract & dried rose petals for garnish. It's a bright blue, sweet, all natural beauty. Makes my heart flutter just looking at it, just like Cas. Lol what a simp. If you don't want to empty your wallet on one drink, you can have cinnamon coffee instead because his coat gives the vibe and Misha said he uses cinnamon sprays all the time and so always smells like cinnamon no matter what hes doing.
Dessert: Angel food cake - Plain flour, caster sugar, eggs, cream of tartar, lemon juice & zest, unsalted butter served with double cream, mango sauce, juiced lime, strawberries & passion fruits cos *place angel joke here*
Drink: Ice cream cola float - Cola + vanilla Ice cream. This was the most childish drink I could come up with, it's very hit or miss for people and you get the combo of Deans Cola and Cas' ice cream because it's very cute to me. I very much feel Jack would like this drink and Sam would hate it because it's far too unhealthy and weird, making it a perfect drink.

Menu: A Huge Vegan Holiday Feast
It’s too late for Thanksgiving 2020, but if you’re looking for some last-minute recipe ideas for the Winter holidays, this post is for you! This menu is based on the foods typically served for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner with my mom’s side of the family. There’s a lot of recipes listed, but there’s 12 of us and we are big leftover people, so feel free to omit and adjust as you please! I’m the only vegan in my family right now, but I love to try and make a couple plant-based foods for myself during the holidays, and my grandma is very open about making her sides vegan-friendly so I can enjoy them with everyone else. Obviously, things are going to be a bit different this year, what with the pandemic going on, but that doesn’t mean you can’t cook for yourself and whoever is residing in your residence with you! So, without further ado, here is the menu:
Vegan Turkey Roast from Nora Cooks
Vegan Holiday Seitan Ham from Sarah’s Vegan Kitchen
Vegan Cauliflower Mac and Cheese from Yup, It’s Vegan
Mashed Potatoes - My mom and grandma always put milk and butter in their mashed potatoes, but I personally like to leave them plain and eat them with kale sautéed with garlic and red pepper flakes.
Vegan Sweet Potato Casserole from Real + Vibrant
Collards - Cook them in a simmering pot of either vegetable broth or water seasoned with vegan ham broth base.
Stuffing - You can make it from scratch if you’d like, but in my house we just use Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Classic Stuffing, replacing the chicken broth it calls for with vegetable broth.
Deviled Potatoes (instead of deviled eggs) from Sarah’s Vegan Kitchen
Grapes and Orange slices - My grandma usually sets these out on a glass platter for us to snack on while the cooking is finishing up.
Simple Vegan Dinner Rolls from Minimalist Baker
Homemade Pecan Pie from Karo Syrup - My grandma has been using Karo dark corn syrup in her pecan pies for years. Replace the eggs with a vegan substitute, such as a flax egg mixture.
Blueberry Jell-O Salad - First, make grape jello using agar agar powder instead of gelatin, which has bone marrow and tendons in it. Once set, mix in blueberry pie filling and crushed pineapple. Next, cover blueberry jello mix in a vegan cream cheese topping (8 oz. vegan cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 cup vegan sour cream) and let it set in the fridge for a few hours before serving. I suggest skipping the walnuts, the texture is a bit weird (in my opinion).
Chocolate Pudding Mini Pies - Purchase ready-to-go mini graham pie crusts and instant chocolate pudding mix. Make sure to check ingredients. Make the pudding and place in the pie crusts. Top with whipped cream (this recipe from Minimalist Baker is good) and let everything set up in the fridge before eating.

I tend to be a bored eater :( can you give me healthy snack ideas?
Certainly! I hope you’re doing well.
-Apples with cinnamon and honey (or maple syrup) you can even microwave this and it’ll become a healthy apple pie filling. Top with whip cream or a lighter ice cream.
-Lightly salted rice cake with nut butter and banana
-Chocolate covered banana, freeze if you want
-Homemade trail mix
-Edamame with some salt
-Fruit with ricotta or cottage cheese (you can microwave frozen fruit to make it a stickier texture, so good)
-Mango/Apple/Watermelon with chamoy or tajin
-Smoothies
-Yogurt with fruit/granola/chia seeds or honey
-Carrots and hummus
-Wasa crackers
-plain popcorn
-cheese sticks
-Homemade fruit leather. Just blend whatever fruit with a tiny bit of water and pour onto a pan, and bake.
-Toss some grapes in the powdered jello-o mixes. Basically a healthy version of sourpatch gummies
-Throw some blueberries or whatever fruit into yogurt, pour onto pan, freeze. Makes yogurt bark
-Pretzels and hummus
-Chickpea brownies or cookie dough (trust me it’s good)

Dragie and Kitty Adventure Book 1
The Food from Planet Tuun
On a sunny day in July, Kitty was looking out the window. Dragie had gone off to find some dragon food and told Kitty to wait for him. Kitty knew that when Dragie found food it was always exotic. Pineapples, blueberries, crepes (which are very thin pancakes basically), tuna, chicken, but the one thing that Kitty could count on was the fact that Dragie always seemed to know what Kitty would like.
As time goes on for ages, (not really ages but when you are only a few inches tall it seems longer), Dragie flies through the room carrying four plates piled high with food. Each plate had different types of food on them. One of the plates had dinner foods on it; things like steak, ramen, chicken, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, fish, fries and tater tots, and even rice with cream wontons, and everything else that you could think of to have for dinner. Another plate has light but filling lunch food, such as; sandwiches of many different kinds including subs, salads, soup and stews, meat pies and hot pockets, tuna, even some tomatoes and other vegetables as well. The third plate had breakfast food on it. So things like omelettes, bacon, sausages, toast (of many kinds), crepes and pancakes, a mix of many different kinds of cereals, fruits of many kinds, bagels and English muffins, butter of many kinds, cream cheese, olives and other vegetables, as well as pop-tarts and doughnuts. The last plate is a dessert platter. There are many types of cheese and crackers, fudge, ice cream in little tart cups, creme brulee, tiramisu, wafer rolls, chips and dip, hummus, dates and figs, snack mixes, chocolate (everything that has chocolate; so chocolate bars and truffles, to candy bars and everything in between), candy, and many other desserts. Dragie lands perfectly beside Kitty and nudges him with his tail.
"I have brought food," Dragie says with a smile.
Kitty turns and looks at Dragie, with his arms full of plates. "So I see." As Kitty takes a blueberry off one of the plates and pops it in his mouth.
Dragie places the food down on the sparkly clean floor and takes a large rib piece and begins to eat it. Kitty begins to ponder what would be the best drinks for washing down the food. He walks to the mini fridge, sensing that Dragie was watching his every move, pausing in his eating, opens the door and peers in. He pulls out some fruit juices, milk (many different kinds, all types of nut juice and whole milk), water, soda, and many other drinks like cold brew coffee and the syrups to flavour the milk. He walks back to Dragie and places the drinks down. Dragie smiles and goes back to eating his tender rib. Kitty walks a few rooms away and Dragie frowns.
Kitty has always been the one to not eat that much. It is not that he can't eat, cause he can eat a lot. It is just that he doesn't want to eat. Dragie does not like when Kitty does things like this, it makes him sad. But little does Dragie know that Kitty is making homemade tea and lemonade. Dragie leaves his post around the food in search to see what Kitty is doing, hesitant he may be.
Dragie flys through rooms slowly in search for Kitty. After the first couple of rooms, Dragie gets nervous and scared. 'Where is Kitty?' he thought frantically. He was flying faster now. He enters the kitchen so lost in his fear and thoughts, that he forgot to watch out where he was flying. Oh no! He'll fly into kitty squeezing some lemons if he is not careful. A small humming filled the air. 'I know that song! That is one of the native American songs that Kitty sings when working. It means that he is close!' He breaks from his thoughts and sees Kitty soon enough so that he could do a nose dive and fly up sharply. When he does this, he flies so close to Kitty that it causes to make a shocked kitty sound. The sound sounds exactly like a young kitten who is able to explore the house alone but while still trying to walk.
Dragie lands next to Kitty, watching Kitty finish making the lemonade. Dragie than takes Kitty and tosses him on his back and with his talons as he grasps the tea and lemonade. He flies fast back to where the plates lay making Kitty eek, he gently places the drinks down and takes Kitty of his back. The look on Kitty's face from flying so high is priceless and he laughs. A full belly laugh, a bit rough from the lack of laughing a lot. Kittys dishevelled look; hair spiked up and whiskers pulled back. This made him look like what would happen if Albert Einstein became Meowbert Stein. Kitty's eyes are wide open but not from his own choosing.
Kitty shakes and his appearance becomes fluffier but at least more like his normal self. "Sorry," Dragie says as he tries to hide his toothy grin. Kitty shakes again, making him return to his normal self completely.
"It's okay." As Kitty tries to fix his bangs from falling in front of his face.
Dragie puts a paw on Kittys. "Stop it, you look cute." Kitty huffs but leaves it. "But now time to eat. "
Kitty looks at all the food and then looks at Dragie. Dragie grabs a crepe and begins to munch on it. Sensing Kitty watching him, he turns his head. Drool is falling in large raindrops on the floor because Dragie loves crepes. Dragie is also looking at Kitty basically saying in little words, eat.
Kitty slowly puts a paw on a cream cheese wonton, never loses eyesight with Dragie. Then quickly puts one end of it in his mouth. Dragie smiles and looks away to get another crepe. Kitty woofs down the rest of the wonton and then reaches for a sausage link and brings it to his lips. Before he can wrap his kitty mouth around the sausage he feels himself being pushed by something. He looks up at Dragie who is eating a bear patty sandwich but shows no sign of using his tail to bring Kitty closer to him. Kitty looks over his shoulder and sees Dragies spiked tail wrapped around him. By the time that he looks up again, and he is next to Dragie, who is looking down at Kitty smiling.
Kitty puts his sausage in his mouth and munches away at it. Dragie reaches for some blueberries. Each one sticking on his claws on his left hand. He bites the blueberries sliding them slowly off his claws, trying not to have the juice down his scales.
A knock sounds at the Kitty and Dragie cave. Kitty and Dragie look at each other, food in both of their mouths. Dragie curls his tail closer to Kitty when Kitty tries to walk closer to the entrance of the cave. Kitty swallows his food and says, "what if something is hurt? We have to save it, Dragie." Dragie nods and walks slowly towards the cave entrance. Protecting Kitty the entire way with his tail. Enventually, they both reach the door. Kitty reaches out and opens the door. A small spiked creature about the same size as an hedgehog runs past Kitty and Dragie.
"Thank you for letting me out of that strange place. It was too cozy from what I am used to." The hedgehog says.
"Welcome," Dragie says.
"Where are you from?" Kitty askes with curiousity.
"I come from a planet called Tuun. My spaceship and I were on a way to a party on Earth for a couple of friends called," He pauses and pulls out these two long rods, sorta like shower rods, and types a few things on them. A hologram appears in between the rods. "Dragie and Kitty. But I seemed to have miscalcuated my route."
"You came down here to throw a party for us?" Dragie asked.
"Are you the ones who were playing in the field several t P today?"
"tP? What is that?" Kitty asked
"t P is the Planck Time. It is how is my people measure time."
"Oh. Well yes, it was our time for some sunshine." Kitty said.
"I have some very fine food from my home planet for you."
"Oooh, food." Dragie says with drool coming out of his mouth.
A flash of light and a whole bunch of food appeared. Dragie took something that looked like trout from the pile and began to eat it. Kitty took a flower that looked like clover and ate it. Before they could thank the small being and even ask if he would like to join them, they heard a loud whirring sound. The both ran towards the window to see a spaceship lift from the air. "I hope you both enjoy the food and the rest of your beautiful day!" A voice calls from the spaceship before it was gone.
"We didn't even to thank him or ask for his name." Kitty said.
"It's okay Kitty, I have a feeling that we will meet him again." Dragie says as he puts a paw on Kitty's shoulders.
The sun begins to fade on another eventful day from the pages of the Dragie and Kitty Adventures.
