It’s gorgeous.

That unsettling feeling of seeing something beyond yourself, beyond your sense of consciousness and knowing that this could very well be your grave.

It’s a labyrinth of feelings, of misery, of regret, and wanting that traps its victims in a forever.

You know what else is unsettling?

Death.

Death and ghosts and everything beyond it.

So imagine with me then, that the Infinite Realms and those ecto-born and ecto-contaminated don’t see the ghosts the same way.

Amity Park and its residents see the invading ghosts as close to their real form in life as they are in death.

Those not touched by the Infinite?

They see them the same way as witches. Unnatural creatures that unsettles the mind and environment to allow the ghosts access to the living world.

Maybe that’s why Maddie and Jack Fenton do not see ghosts as sentient things. They have seen them as humans see them, things filled with misery and pain, stealing from those too foolish to wander in the Ghosts domain.

The GIW are much the same, seeing the ghosts as the ‘witches’ they are, not what they were.

Danny doesn’t realize how unsettling he truly is, no one in Amity Park baring the Fenton parents and the GIW do.

Not until he is summoned on his first official Kingly summon, unaware of the looming gaping horror that stood staring back down at the humans that lived outside of Amity Park.

idk if this was obvious but is “the realm between our worlds” loki put (who im assuming is) thor in the place peter kept dreaming about? or was peter somehow dreaming of that exact scene we saw (with loki and klarion when thor was arriving) but instead it was a more weird abstract version?

Pretty much this!! Klarion is directly responsible for all the weird dreams and the storms- it just happened to coincide with the glitching and confused Peter and Dick. It'll be explained in chap 18, but Klarion was using himself as a bridge to get Thor out of the rift. He zeroed in on Peter using his magic, giving him the dreams kind of as a side effect/consequence to the magic. They were more abstract because Peter's sleeping mind was processing visions of what Klarion was seeing/what he knows about. By doing this, Klarion was giving Thor the ability to find Peter. Thor is the cause for the weird weather patterns and the fact that it has been following Peter, but Klarion gave him the dreams/visions. here's a picture i drew with my mouse cause i didn't want to get my tablet out just yet:

Klarion had to help Thor get out, as well. Thor wasn't strong enough to get out of the rift on his own (because Thor's powers aren't like Loki's) so Klarion was like "oh have some energy using this spell my friend" (Klarion was not his friend, Thor was a backup if Loki didn't say yes), and that's how Thor was able to get out. He almost succeeded one time on accident- that was when Peter and Jason were nearly struck. Klarion pulled back because Thor was stronger than he expected and he wasn't planning to actually release Thor unless he had a reason

basically, Klarion was sending a charged up lightning missile to Peter's location. at least Thor is friendly :)

A castle mysteriously appears in Gotham one night.

Nobody who noticed it knows where it came from, nor how it got there as it seemingly appeared overnight. It wasn't anything big, as far as castle's were concerned, it seemed to be on the smaller side of things.

However, no one could truly estimate it's actual size. For there seemed to be an ever-present fog that never seemed to stray past the castle's gates.

Just like the fog, you always seemed to hear the cawing of crows and the flapping of bats whenever you step close enough. Yet their visibility was kept hidden in the fog.

Appearances aside, there did seem to be something... off, about the castle and not just because it appeared from thin air, no. It seemed to have a distinct aura of something... other.

No one knew how to explain it, but they could tell there was nothing natural about it. There was something fundamentally wrong with the castle, it wasn't the way it appeared out of nowhere, nor it's appearance.

When Sam finally became an adult, she didn't have to think twice about moving out. It was a bit difficult, with her parents not wanting to let her go just yet, but her grandmother managed to persuade them, thankfully.

When she was younger, Sam had always dreamed of owning a castle. Though its appearance did change in her mind when she grew older, from pretty and pink to one of darker colors and crows, which is why she never got one when she was younger, she realized.

But now that she was an adult, what was stopping her?

Nothing, that's what.

So, Sam buys one that matches her tastes and moves in. There was a lot of space, far more than she really ever thought about and now had to find a use for.

Magic.

Was something that enthralled Sam ever since she was young, that and the occult as a whole. So, for a few months after moving did she try and get her hands on things like magical tomes, items, scripts and learn it.

Surprisingly, she was strongly successful in her attempts of learning magic. It was surprising to be sure, but now that she compares it to the portal to the afterlife, having a half dead friend and having hunted down ghosts, she realizes that magic wouldn't be that much farfetched in the equation.

A fair bit of her time now was spent covering her castle in wards, sigils, and runes, ones that would strengthen themselves over time, various protection wards and multiple others that she found useful. Most of them were ones that she found through text, though others were ones she personally made.

After she finished the entirety of the castle, she studied thoroughly to gain more knowledge and power for herself, she even made a few spells of her own along with various potions. Unfortunately, she was interrupted in her studies by various other witches, because apparently having such a powerful fledgling witch on her lonesome was too tempting of an offer to pass up for the nearby covens.

So she had to... move, before they tried to force her to join them. As for how, well, she moved her entire castle! What better way to refuse, really?

Unfortunately, it was her first time using such large-scale teleportation magic and she messed it up. Not that her calculations on where the castle was supposed to be were wrong, but while in the midst of moving through space she was... thrown off kilter.

She didn't even know how or what caused her to mess up. But her castle both was and wasn't where she wanted it to be. Her original destination was coordinates near Amity Park, and while they were on said coordinates.

This wasn't Amity Park.

To say she worried was an understatement. She scrambled to find something about where she ended up, and realized not only was she thrown off kilter, but she was also thrown off so badly that she ended up in an entirely different dimension. Luckily, she managed to make the philosopher's stone.

To say making it was easy would be wrong, for even she didn't know how she created it. It was by accident and for a while she didn't even know she had made it, when she had and tried to do something with it the stone had, uh, well.

It fused into her skin.

It had placed itself right over her face, on her chest, and it granted her immortality it seemed. Though that wasn't the effect she was currently thankful for no, the effect of making gold would be valuable to her, she wouldn't have the Manson wealth, but she could at the very least sustain herself.

For now, though, she did have her studies to get back to.

Mama Klarion

Klarion had no idea how it happened; all he did was experiment with his magic. The next thing he noticed was that there were two babies before him. What did he do???  That was how Klarion became Klarion the Mama Witch, but hey, the two beings that he had brought much chaos!

Without Vandal's and Jason Blood's help, he would have no idea what to do, and yes, he is thankful for Vandal. How did this even happen? And his two spawns Danny and Danielle were bringing already much chaos to Gotham, all with the color black turned pink. Yes, Pinkman the Bat, and PinkMobile. Gotham is now Babie Town.

or Central City, where it's raining chocolate. Metroplis, where all but Superman can fly. Yes. Superman, no matter what he tried, can't fly. That was how his spawn meets their new Grandpa Mxyzptlk.

+ A/N Danny and Dani loves this world and place. True they had memories of their old life still, but being Reborn is so much fun!!

To be honest, at the moment we don't do anything. It's mostly for us to gather and talk. Maybe help each other in problems.

I mean, all of us have sorta different magic systems? So it's not an actual coven. It's. Like witches in Gotham coven.

Also I am scared for you to get certain ingredients because most of what I need is hard to get. Ask @gotham-witch and Artem (forgot her @ )

Who is Red Robin?

Basically anyone who wants to be honestly.

So, something for writers who have more skill than I possess, which means basically anyone with the ability to spell and even that is debatable, this is just a thought. It could be angsty if that's your preference though I see it more as a part of a possible crack fic.

I would like to suggest that Tim Drake is not particularly attached to the mantle of Red Robin. He'll use it since it's better than nothing (and certainly better than Drake) and because he's really, really, really not particularly disposed to the sort of introspection or self analyzation necessary to create an identity he actually cares about the way Batman named himself for fear or Nightwing because of I forget and don't particularly care except Superman was involved since it's supposed to be from some Kryptonian myth or Robin because of Mary Grayson and Robin Hood and connection to family or the Red Hood for REVENGE. Most of the Bats can all be just a tiny bit touchy at who gets to use their identity. Generally they do not share well at all. Exceptions can be made for extreme circumstances, like civilian identities at risk, but generally to use someone else's mask is to risk their ire.

This is not necessarily true for Tim when he is not Robin. Even when he was Robin, had things been communicated about clearly and calmly with maybe an alternative mask available, he likely would have been fine to share or even give up the Robin role. Sadly, clear communication is absolutely not something any of the Bats really excel in performing.

Anyway, the point is, Tim only cares about the name of his not Robin identity in order to maintain the whole secret identity thing. If someone else wants to use that particular name/costume when he isn't using it? As long as they aren't (further) ruining his reputation, he doesn't care and may actively encourage them to do so.

Cass has absolutely used the Red Robin identity no matter what canon may claim and I do believe that Tim has acted as Black Bat for her in return. The only reason is isn't acknowledged as canon is because both of them are too stealthy to be caught switching their costumes and no one has noticed.

As a bit of a joke, Kon has also used the Red Robin identity. So has Cassie, the cowl version because she didn't want to deal with a wig and did want to maintain some continuity. Bart liked the wings but dislikes the having to stuff his hair under control and so has only worn the costume once and not in battle. In a bit of an emergency situation, Cissie has also donned the Red Robin mantle. The may have been a strange turn of events where Klarion the Witch Boy tried out the identity.

Tim enjoys how much it can make Vicki Vale and other similar types of reporters froth at the mouth at Red Robin being so blatantly active while Tim Drake Wayne is right there at the head of a crowd. The only time Red Robin is ever actually caught in the act of being Red Robin is when someone who is not Tim, or Cass, is using the Red Robin mask.

may i suggest a recommendation for anyone in love with the city spirit concepts to check out, gotham academy, olive silverlock, and the dc villain known as calamity. i feel it could feed all of your creative flames.

for those who aren't into digging up the comics, gotham academy has several videos on youtube where people basicly read them to you.

but i feel with those three twigs via wiki, dpxdc fans who love amity and gotham as city spirits with tension especially can start a bonfire.
