Nobody says if you're a witch then you have to do what you personally don't want to do. You don't have to do baneful magic. If you don't want something in your practice, then don't put it into your practice. That's your own call.

But leave the rest of us out of it. Leave what you don't even understand out of it. Leave things from other people, other cultures that aren't even yours to tokenize and toss around like jelly beans to begin with out of it.

Just found some old pictures of the wands my mum and I made for a Fantastic Beasts event at the college LRC (library) where I used to work.

We made them out of newspaper, toilet roll, PVA glue, acrylic paint, beads and plastic gems, and a glue gun.

These were hidden around the LRC and students would hunt for them every day for about two weeks until they found them all. Those that found them got to take them home and we also had some other activities to promote some of our Harry Potter audiobooks, ebooks and physical books and movies.

Bonus points to whoever spots the atrocious spelling mistake I made on the promotional material. Had to remember where we hid them all so I could break out the tipex

Edit: I Would like to mention as an afterthought, I am in no way in support of She Who Must Not Be Named (aka JK Rowling's) personal opinions regarding trans people. In my opinion she has turned into a vial and loathsome individual who has thoroughly tarnished my love of the fictional world she created. Her actions are pointlessly decisive, and harmful to cis and trans women alike.

Though the fanfic + fanart and the diverse community which created it and enriched that world is still incredibly dear to me. Even though I was never an active member (beyond, reading, giving kudos where it was due and occasionally commenting) I still felt like I was part of a friendly welcoming community full of talented (& not so talented), inspiring individuals.

If you are trans then please know that I support you. What is going down at the moment is utter bull. It might not feel like it sometimes, but people are on your side.

Alright- we're gonna start with the easiest one the void world, which is basically space

The void collects extra magic, form spells, or what people don't use and puts it back into the world. when it gets too much magic, though it creates a new hybrid, so far, it's only happened a few times with hundreds of years in between. With a few void hybrids and an entire new realm, the end

Also void hybrids can be the 'representation' of sorts for the void, sun, stars, etc. Hence why there sunshine hyrbids, void hybrids and star hybrids! But they all fall under void/apace hybrids

Void hybrids can not breathe oxygen, so wear masks to block the oxygen. What would suffocate everyone else if the only way they can breathe

Void hybrids are immune to burning and heat, since they can touch stars and the sun, they also can't gte sunburnt. As well as they have the ability to control all magic but their interests ns control and strength over each type is varying

No one can go into the void space but void hybrids, considering the pressure would crush their bones and they wouldn't be able to breath but void hybrids can teleport themselevs into the space at anytime. Usually to sleep

Legolas' Precision

~A spell to help you aid in ‘hitting your target’ or reaching a specific goal~

You will need:

Something that symbolizes your target or goal. (an application for a job, an amount of money you wish to save, a picture of a place you wish to go on vacation) whatever it is that represents your goal.

a green candle

whatever incense you feel is right for this action

a thumb tack or pin

What to do:

Prepare yourself and your space however necessary. Meditate, pray, shower or what have you.

Sit in the space with your candle and incense, light both, and focus your mind on the goal or target you wish to reach.

Pick up the pin or needle, and focus your energy and intent into it, pour your desire to reach this goal into the pin. If it helps, visualize the pin as an arrow, and you focusing your energy into it is you drawing back the bowstring.

Just like shooting an arrow, exhale as you place the pin into the symbolic item that represents your target. Just once, and if it is something like an application, don’t ruin the application, pin it in the corner. This is you firing the arrow.

Now, the magic is only half the work. Keep the symbolic item if you can, placing it somewhere you see it every day to inspire you to continue working for it. Hang it on the fridge, keep it in your car or wallet, or on your desk. If it helps, keep the pin in it and pin it somewhere you will see it.

Unless you live in a cave all by yourself completely off the grid having no contact with human civilization whatsoever, every action you take, every decision you make, spiritual or secular, magical or mundane, will affect your surroundings at some point, somehow.

Give and take, ebb and flow, back and forth, yin and yang, as above so below, however you put it, the universe requires balance, and it balances itself out somehow. There is no day without night, without darkness there is no light.
